Upwork- Payooner - Dorm account. This they say is faster and cheaper but it's kinda cumbersome to me. Am sure payoneer too will take some amount to process the fund, at the end, maybe I'll just be saving $5 or $10.

Anyone using the method? How much do you save from using payoneer to dorm?
If you have a Payoneer Card, you can withdraw with Transferwise. Their rates are about 350.

I just googled it now, it talks about the humans coming from animals.

What about it?
What separates humans from animals is the ability to create shared fiction in their minds. Animals mostly act according to their genes and their "programming". They have sex when it's time, sleep when it's time, and so on. Humans are different because we can convince ourselves to mostly go against our programming. We do this by creating shared fiction and beliefs in our minds. \

About freewill though, humans are not entirely the free, rational beings you think they are. If you understand psychology indepth, you'll know that humans can be easily manipulated just like animals. We're just one step ahead...

You still don't understand what is FREE WILL.

We have the choice to do in life what we want.

I was once playing PES games. I was standing in front of the computer goal keeper and instead of him moving away from me he went ahead and shot the ball anyway. The ball hit me & I pushed it into the net. The keeper couldn't do otherwise cos that's the way he was programmed.

We are not animals or robots. And we cannot be forced to act in a certain way (that is obey the creator).

I do hope this sinks.

As a freethinker, there is no difference.
And education has nothing to do with it.
The differences is ascribed even in lexicons just for the purpose of distinction and to make theists such as Christians and islams happy...with the feelings that they respect their god.

But realistically, no difference.

PoliticsRe: The Current State Of The Nation...a Move Towards A Failed State? by olyrayy(m): 11:10pm On Apr 09, 2019
fairfora:
The current state of our nation is becoming worrisome. Hardly would a day pass without reading of killings of scores almost in every part of Nigeria. I picked up a leading newspaper today in the office and all I could see was killings in zamfara, kajuru, suicide bombing in Borno, kidnapping of a fire fighter boss in lagos alongside his colleagues, assassination of a retired police officer in the east and the comma state of his daughter in law who witnessed the scene. Kidnapping of a major politician's son in abuja, dropping of the Nigerian economy as reported by world bank etc. I wonder what our leaders are doing about it.

Are those who left power 4 years ago still responsible for these woes and vices or our current leadership are deliberately nonchalant about all the happenings around the country? Somebody please help me out. The state of insecurity in states like Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Zamfara, Kaduna, Taraba and Katsina calls for a great concern as they remain unabated.
Down south, the rate at which kidnappers are having a field day is worrisome. Drug abuse among our youth is on the rise. 3 boys were reported dead in imo over sex rump with a girl after mixing tramadol with other drug substance...are these aren't good news sad

It's been long since I last heard or read about...

new achievement in science,

commissioning of a new hospital,

improved economy,

educational growth

growth in infrastructure

new job creation

commissioning of new industries

development in technology and inventions, etc...

Where have all these gone...why have they vanished suddenly from our space? Are we more populated than China or India? What's the solution...secession?

Where the government had executed one project or the other, it hardly lasts 6 months before such infrastructure would go bad. I was in port Harcourt airport immediately after the wing was commissioned and 1 month later, I flew from same airport to lagos and couldn't believe same airport was commissioned a month earlier. Most of the seats have pulled put. The AC had stopped working and installations were already pulling off. What's wrong with us in this country? Please Nigerians, are we not bothered at all or are we just pretending everything was ok?

I know of a couple who are civil servants and nearing their retirement age. They have 4 children who are all graduates, 2 girls and 2 boys. After their nysc, they're still being fed by their ageing parents. They still live with them, instead of being in their own apartments and giving back to their parents. Is it someone who's got a good job that would think of marriage? The eldest child had to take up a security job in an eatry where he's being paid 25k monthly...a graduate of international relations from a reputable university with a 2.1. The 3 others sweep houses in lagos to survive

Our boys are growing up to be men yet, they are single and afraid of even getting married. While our girls are even ageing faster and without jobs in their mid/late 30s. When exactly would they start planning a family? No future benefits from the government for them. They're simply on their own.

Those who can't endure take to vices like armed robbery and kidnapping whilst their female counterparts turn into artistos, parading their God given talents meant for their husbands on dating sites. Many have fallen victims of ritualists and STDs while the Male ones have fallen in the course of robbery and kidnapping, paying the price for their impatience.

Are our problems leadership and if it is, what do we do before things get out of hands...? We heard of a governor telling lies about the casualty figure in a particular state earlier this year which incited the anger of a particular ethnic group, leading to regular killings in that region up till last night.

Have we really sat down and told ourselves the truth about the state of our nation for a moment? Have we really sat down and pondered on it for a minute, waiving aside sentiments? Are the children of our leaders sharing in the sufferings? Are we not architect of our misfortune? What do we do Nigerians? Our country is tending towards a failed state...please drop your ideas.

RomanceRe: The Truth About Sex And Virginity by olyrayy(m): 10:44pm On Apr 09, 2019
Chineduorizu:
SEX IS SWEET BUT........
Have you ever wondered why God carefully
positioned a membrane of blood in a lady’s
sexual opening? It is a thiny membrane that
partially or completely covers the opening of
the vagina. It is called the “HYMEN”.
Why would God-Our Maker put a breakable
tissue full of blood at the very door of the
sexual opening of the female?
Why is it so carefully placed at that entrance,
like a ribbon tied at the entrance of a new
house about to be launched?
Why is it filled with blood that spills away
when it is broken?
Why? Without doubt, the HYMEN IS A GATE!
It was God (our creator) who set that blood-
filled vessel there as a covenant blockage, a
sign and a token of a covenant between the
bearer and whoever plunges into her opening.
Before God, the disvirginity of a lady is not a
casual act of fun. It is a serious covenant
struck and confirmed by the blood shed on
that day.
This is God’s way of saying, “Whoever plunges
in to this woman shall only be able to do so by
making a blood covenant to be joined to her
for the rest of his life, from that point onward.
Little wonder why sexual intercourse was
designed by God to take place only and only
after the marriage contract is sealed. The one
who made the body (the hormones, organs,
nerves, tissues, e.t.c)said it in clear terms in
1Cor.6:13 , “Now, the body is not for
fornication”.
Anyone who chooses to use the body for
fornication must know that he/ she is working
directly against God’s plan and there would
definitely be a consequence either now or at
old age!
There is a spiritual bonding, a supernatural
process that takes place in a lady’s heart to the
first guy that enters in to her especially at that
particular time when the hymen breaks. There
is no covenant without blood: this is why the
membrane contains enough of it.
As a matter of fact, what happens the first
time a lady has sex is not just sex but an
immersion and a bathing of the man with her
hymen blood to initiate a covenant that is
highly recognized in the spirit realm of both
light and darkness! The first time this happens
just marks her opening day covenant ceremony
and each subsequent experience goes on to
further refresh or strengthen that covenant or
establish another version of it with another
person.
Many have washed useless boys with that
hymen-blood.
Many have struck irreversible covenants with
men that have nothing to do with their destiny.
Many have shared that hymen blood in sexual
activity with demon-possessed men while some
others have struck such precious covenants
with candle sticks as they exercised sex with it.
If only they knew, many girls who carelessly
allowed themselves to be disvirgined in a bid
to be among the so called “big girls” would
never have done so.
The Bible says it in clear terms: “Or do you not
know that he who is joined to a harlot
(through sexual activity) is one with her (1 Cor.
6:16).
This is why many girls are not yet married yet
their spiritual composition is already shattered
and imbalanced, because they have mingled
their souls with that of different men.
Dear Singles, know today that there is a definite
proportion of your virtue that leaves you each
time a man enters into you and when that man
leaves you, he leaves with it. Just imagine how
much of yourself would be lost each time a
man enters into you without any properly
signed marriage bond or contract.
Sex is a spiritual affair. A giving of yourself to
another. All of these things have strong and
terrible spiritual implications.
A broken hymen opens you up to the spirit of
the man that broke it, any other spirit
whatsoever that may have mingled with that
man’s spirit, those who have mingled theirs
with him and the spirit of any other man that
enters into you thereafter. The fun part is that
pre-marital sex is not funny at all. What
happens between the lines could be deadly and
dangerous.
The very first day a lady, or a man does that
there will be spiritual transfer of destiny.
The sin of fornication gives demons and
occultic people direct access into your God's
given destiny. And it drives the Holy Spirit
away from you, and your guardian angel will
no longer fight for you, nor take your prayers
to heaven.
So guys, zip up! Girls wise up!! It doesn't
matter matters a lot.
BIG THINGS COMES FROM LITTLE THINGS WE
DO!!!
I know a soul has been touched today, remain
blessed!
Peace to you all.
VIRGINITY AHEAD! STOP!! DON'T BREAK THAT
GATE!!!
The more u learn the more u know. Great Day!

Well I did no go through any of that process. I got to the town and interacted with the locals I met at the park and related to them my intention. One of them directed a bike man to take me to the site. There I met an aged man, by name Baba Bose whose cocoa and palm-tree farm is located close to the cave. He has just finished work for the day and was gathering his cocoa pods to go home. I greeted Baba Bose and told him of my intentions to find out about the cave and it's history. He was glad to see a young lady interested in the story of his town. So he was the one who related the story to me while I jotted down.

PoliticsRe: The Cjn’s Removal: The Lamps Are Going Out All Over Nigeria- Opinion by olyrayy(m): 7:54am On Jan 27, 2019
oladele00:
Almost everyone on social media voiced former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun into resigning. Some even asked that the President remove her to prove that he's truly fighting corruption. When the brilliant woman saw that she truly erred by submitting a fake NYSC Exemption certificate, she did the honourable thing. She tendered her resignation letter and left. She RESIGNED!
By that time, those of you ethnic jingoists didn't see Kemi as a Southerner. You screamed at her, cyber bullied her and even hurled abuses at her. Now it is the turn of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, who admitted himself that he 'forgot' to declare his domiciliary accounts which was loaded with £23,409, €49,971 and $391,401, including 55 houses undeclared, and by so doing, he breached the Code of Conduct as a Public officer and was suppose to have resigned straightaway if he had any modicum of honour, integrity and shame as the custodian of the Nigerian Law, but he didn't. Instead, he was doing everything to stall his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. All those times, you didn't call for his resignation the same way you did with Kemi, you didn't bully him to resign the way you bullied Kemi, you were instead urging him to stay on, you were drumming support for him and some of you that were deceiving yourselves with your forming neutrality didn't say anything all this while too, you deliberately turned dumb. When it was first revealed a fortnight ago that the Chief Justice of Nigeria didn't declare his domiciliary accounts with dollars starched in it, all you were vituperating was that the President wanted to remove him because he's a southerner. You acted dumb on the offence he committed. Now that the CJN has been suspended, those of you fake neutralists are now crying foul. You're screaming that democracy is in danger. Can y'all see how nonsensically hypocritical you are? Your hypocrisy is legendary. Your hypocrisy stinks. You shouted and bullied Kemi Adeosun into resignation but aiding Onnoghen who can't explain how he got the foreign currencies starched in his domiciliary accounts which he didn't declare plus 55 houses. A whooping 55 houses.
Instead of the CJN to resign honourably and go clear himself, he was busy running from pillar to post buying injunctions to stop the case against him. Just a couple of days ago, another $630,000 and $800,000 was discovered in his separate domiciliary accounts again. Y'all pretended you didn't see the news, abi? Sensing that he could be suspended by the NJC, the CJN quickly suspend their meeting indefinitely. Why? So that he can stay on. You can imagine!
You asked Kemi to resign but Onnoghen who was selling justice for dollars and deliberately didn't declare those dollars in his domiciliary accounts including 55 houses should stay on, and he should be left alone.
Arrant nonsense.

PDP ARE SUPPORTER OF CORRUPTION
We don't have an issue with Buhari trying to remove Onnoghen, it is the approach that is quite sickening. Now, imagine that instead of charging the CJN to CCT all of a sudden, Buhari had announced the accusations against the CJN and called on the Senate to have him removed according. Even if the Senate had not convened, he'll take the higher ground and public opinion would have been on his side.

All "neutralists" would have wailed that the CJN is honor bound to resign pending investigation by the Senate. If the Senate does not want to reconvene, Buhari's PR team could have played that as them being in collusion with the "corrupt" CJN.

If after all the outcry, the CJN doesn't step down, then Buhari can decide to use the CCT route and claim that he's acting in the interest of democracy and protection of our institutions. The whole nation would have supported him then, and he would have even swayed public opinion to his side. This is because on the one hand, he represents the rule of law and the fight against institutionalised corruption, while the CJN and his cohort would represent corruption. If the PDP decides to side with the CJN, they would also be tarnished in the image of corruption.

Like I told my friend in the past, Buhari might be doing good, but his Public Relations is very bad. No matter how good a product is, if the marketing is bad, you won't get sales.
PoliticsRe: CJN Suspension: Our Democracy Is On Fire - House Of Reps Speaker, Dogara by olyrayy(m): 12:07am On Jan 27, 2019
verifielive:
@POLITICSNGR

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has weighed in on the recent suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Nkanu Onnoghen by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Dogara, in a statement made available to PoliticsNGR, raised alarm that Nigeria's democracy was 'on fire'. The Statement read;

"With the unconstitutional suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) by President Muhammadu Buhari, the world has been served with notice that Nigeria is now a full-blown dictatorship. This did not come as a rude shock except to those that have been blind to the gradual but progressive erosion of democratic values in the polity as President Buhari’s Government has never hidden its disdain for the rule of law."

"We have watched in disbelief as the Government recklessly deploys institutional prerogatives; routinely flouts the rule of law; subverts and assaults democratic Institutions; refuses to accept opponents as legitimate; suppresses citizens civil liberties(especially those of opponents) and trample underfoot the media. In short, the Government’s tyrannical and authoritarian credentials are loathsomely legendary."

"No provision in Sections 157 and 292 of the 1999 Constitution as amended supports the President in purporting to suspend the CJN or swearing in an acting CJN. The whole idea of a limited government is that the President’s powers is limited by law and it is ultra vires his powers to act in the absence of explicit legislative authorization. That is representative democracy at its best which our 1999 Constitution as amended guarantees."

"It is instructive to note that our Constitution does not contemplate or presupposes a situation whereby the Judiciary will have a suspended CJN and an acting CJN at the same time. Therefore, it is right to posit, as some have done that the President now has his own Chief Judge to do his bidding while Nigeria has a sitting CJN until he is removed in line with the provisions of the Constitution."

"The awfully crude annexation of the judiciary by the President in violation of his oath of office and the Constitution cannot be for any other reason except, as alleged by so many, to prepare the judiciary ahead of time for the purpose of conferring some aura of legitimacy to the contraption that the 2019 general elections may after all become."

"I therefore call on the President to remember that he has no better legacy to bequeath other than a good name: which cannot be achieved without honour, character and integrity. Honour and integrity demand that he upholds his oath of office by reversing this assault on our Constitution and following the manifestly clear and unambiguous constitutional procedure for the removal of the CJN if he must be removed. Anything short of this demeans all of us."

"To our citizens, we must now head the warning of the Irish lawyer cum orator, John Philpot Curran who said, “the condition upon which God had given liberty to man is eternal vigilance: which condition if he breaks, servitude is at once the consequences of his crime, and the punishment of his guilt”. Despotism can only prosper in Nigeria if good men and women do nothing."

"I also call on all lovers of freedom and democracy all over the world to rise to the occasion and demand of this Government and the President to halt the march to anarchy and bedlam: which dictatorship promotes. The world has an experience in this and it must not allow this unmitigated disaster on Nigeria before it acts to restore sanity."

"As of today, Nigeria is now Germany in the wake of the 1933 Reichstag fire. Our democracy is on fire; ignited by the very people who swore to protect and defend it. That this fire must not convert the Chancellor to Fuhrer as it happened in Germany in 1933 depends on our collective response and that of the international community. We must not bow our knees to dictatorship: not now, not ever again."

Wow. This was quite eloquent. Especially the part about the Reichstag fire. If Dogara wrote this, then I respect him as an intellectual.

It's your kind of people that sell off their daughters for one grain of rice
The lady clearly doesn't want the marriage with that man yet they forced her
I don't see how that marriage will be a joyful one for her in the years to come

P.S. It's not "our culture"... it's "Your" culture
Let me make it clear to you how the marriage could be a joyful one for her in future... With this kind of marriage, the emotional attachment starts at rockbottom. Meaning that she doesn't expect much from it. In essence, this means that when good things happen to the marriage, she'll be quite taken aback and would really appreciate it.

Compare this to a "free marriage" where the lady expects sunshines and rainbows. Only to discover that marriage is hard work and not all it appears to be. Like the saying goes, all women want a wedding, not a marriage.

Like I've already stated, a good case in point is the divorce rate in the west. Also note that about 70 percent of divorces are initiated by women. That's to tell you how happy they have become in their "free marriages".

I'm actually not a Northerner, so it's not my culture per se. I just like to view things from the perspective of the other side.

Finally, I see you're a lady... if you've been in the dating game for a while, you'll know that it comes with a lot of baggage and heartbreaks that no one expects. This applies to both male and female participants of the dating game.

Hope you get my point now?
