I didn't watch it so I'd reserve my coment. But from the number of 'likes' generated by coments critical of his performance there's no gainsaying he gave Nigerian another punch in the groin like he always does in interviews.

Symphony007: this is the personification of lunacy!! Your stupidty makes the NRA seem liberal..the second amendment does not give people the right to own guns, the military use in warzones. Obama wants to outlaw assault weapons which by the way justice antonin scalia, the most conservative supreme court justice agrees with obama. And finally get a life!! Rather than drowning in crazy conspiracy theories.
Perhaps lunacy has a diferent meaning in the dictionary u read. And who told you the proposals seek to ban assault riffles only? Have u taken a single second to go thruogh the proposed legislation befor coming on here to spew trash? Pple like you are the reason why progress is difficlt in this world, feeding exclusively off the garbage churned out by the perveted media. Do you have any idea what terms of reference are contained in the proposed 'background checks' for potential rifle owners? Pple like you can't even see the truth even when it licks your face. Believe what you wanna believe, you are entitled to that much as a right, but don't come on here displayin such ignorance and imbecility while thinking that you are making a good point. Next tym do a little research before comenting on discussions which are aparently way beyond the scope of your comprehension.

gboss4sure: Your head dey there. Brother one moet for you, I think say na only me de see whats about to happen. Disarming the citizen will make Americans weak and once that happen they will now see the real intention behind the disarming. I just pray that Obama don't scale through with his plans or else America is in more deeper shit.
This whole gun legislation drive has been in the making for years with the various mass shooting incidences to demonize gun ownership. The media is controlled by these same demons pushing for a ban on private gun ownership and have completely sensored parts of the incidences which makes it clear the shooters were under the influence of some kind of psychotropic drugs. They were disposable pawns in the hands of the Globalists pushing for a New World Order. The Sandy Hook incidence was most disgustingly suspecious because no surveilance video whatsoever has been seen of the shooting! A gurl whose name was among the list of those killed was shown with her parents talking to a news reporter! What an error! Alota questions are begging answers but, sadly, non is forthcoming.
Americans need to answer their clarion call and stand up against this unrelenting asault on their constitution cos as America goes, so goes most countries in the world.
The birth of a Police State is imminent.

Obama would turn out to be the most tyranical leader that ever walked the surface of the earth. I just hope America survives his current onslought on the Second Amendment becasuse the patsies deployed in the Aurora and Sandy Hook masacre realy did great jobs and the American public seems to be fallin for the government's hoax. If the new gun legislations see the light of day and the population is finally disarmed, the Globalists, with their loyal servant Obama, would have a smooth sailing executing their sinister agenda. May God help us.

take dat: Is this impossible claim of 50 persons sharing a fish head supposed to make us feel sympathetic to the plight of the police? Guess the exaggeration was geared towards convincing government to improve their funding and for well meaning Nigerians to help contribute in the fund raiser organised by Channels tv!
Nothing is impossible in Nigeria young man.

striktlymi: Good morning,

I wonder why he made this very controversial comment. In essence, is he also saying that Jesus was wrong to have been baptized by John? Or does he question the "divine calling" of Adeboye?

Anyways, I didn't expect such from him.

Thank you!
Was jonathan being baptized or prayed for? What kind of inane comparism is that? All these patsys sef..

I find it very hard to believe anyone would praise something like this! Since when did we become such mediocres? The aim of a research is to discover somthing new or improve on already existing technology. I don't see any of those in that crap up there. Why would any supervisor approve a project like this? Except perhaps the OP left out some details regardin how the stuff runs, I see this as an unbelievably stewpid thing to do.

Started smokin in 2005, stoped somewhere between february and june 2010. Was averagin 25 sticks a day. Made delibrate effort to quit earlier, but all in futility. I kinda stoped indelibrately when I changed the company I kept. Almost all my friends were smokers. After I landed a job, the pple in whose company I constantly find myself (mostly coleagues) were non smokers and their disposition towards the habit somhow rubed off on me.. Been clean since then.

But I don't mess with my Black Label wink

175: Very shameful indeed. Just like in most NYSC orientation camps.
You beat me to this.
Sometimes one cannot but feel sympathy for the men and women of the NPF. They are tasked with the most dangerous of jobs yet receive the least motivation.
Pics remind me of NYSC orientation camp in Isele-Uku, Delta state. Wonder if there could be any place worse than that to live.
Sometimes I feel so heartbroken about the state of this nation I just wanna cry all day. Yet the people whom we entrust with the mandate to see to it that things function just right are the ones that lose sleep over plotting to bring us down!
Nigeria will rise again someday I believe.
God bless Nigeria.

Politics › Re: What Was Budgeted By Lagos For Feeding In 2013? by omenka(m): 8:10am On Jan 16, 2013
naptu2: You see, I'm quite intrigued by this. You've just said it again. . . ."Every state has a budget for feeding". Can you provide proof of this? Or is it an assumption?

I usually follow the budget presentation/debate and I've never heard of a food budget for Lagos House. I can understand why Aso Rock has a food budget. . . .state banquets are usually held for visiting heads of state and you can't expect the president to fund that from his salary...but I've never heard of a state banquet at Lagos House, neither have I heard of a publicly funded food budget for Lagos House. I'm hearing about it for the first time from you.

There's a maxim in law. . . . "semper necessitas probandi incumbit ei qui agit" meaning "he who asserts must prove". You've asserted that there is a publicly funded food budget. . . Do you have proof of this? I would really like to see it.
Op, why are you pretending not to see these? Answer the damn question.
Politics › Re: Jonathan, Kufuor Set For Obasanjo’s Reception. by omenka(m): 8:02am On Jan 16, 2013
redsun: In a rational world that is clamouring for a fundamental change, opportunities like this are what citizens use to show their disgust for evil animals like obj by mountinng a formidable but peaceful demostration to denounce the gathering of vultures that calls themselves statesmen and women. Obj ties with the ex ghana president is the ill investments he has in ghana with our stolen loots,he has more covert investments in ghana than nigeria.
Bro, ur coment makes a mountain of sense, but hey, who would lead such a protest? Even if it were to be some sort of spontaneous protest, who would mount the stage first? Most Nigerians know exactly where to hit these vultures but with our overzealous, ignorant, and poorly trained security operatives, unlike what exists in saner societies, takin such a step might as well cost one their life. It hapened in January '12 durring the subsidy protests and to this day, nothing has been done to bring to book those responsible for the murders.
The only solution to out problems in my opinion is through the ballot, or forming an underground network that would go after those thieves one at a time, making sure a note is left on the crime scene as to the motive for eliminating the rogues. I would be more than willing to join such a network.

thelastPope: I am only interested in seeing my country rise from the ashes. But most of you are all about partisan politics. One reason I will continue to defend GEJ is because I dont see fair criticism coming from you lot. I see a "bring him down because he is not our own" campaign. It isnt because every GEJ decision is correct. He is but a man and every of his actions or decisions cannot be right. Even Obama performed less than 40% in his first term and so far, I have not seen anything to impress me yet from him. But if we are to build Nigeria, it should be about issues, not personal fights based on political and tribal affiliations or personal vendetta. that is why I can never join the NL tribal nonsense. my 2 cents... grin grin grin
The mounting apathy towards GEJ and his handlers has nothing whatsoever to do with his religion, ethnicity, zone of origin or race. It isn't about ''bringing him down because he is not our own''. Pple of all all shapes and shades criticize him just as they give him credits. But apparently, folks critical of his style of admin far outnumber those givin him praises.
That man is simply an oaf. It is one goof after the other with that dunce. A bottomless crater of failure! Show me a president who extols the 'virtues' of ex cons and I'll show u Nigeria's president.
Much as I don't like obj, u know what they say,: ur enemy's enemy is ur friend.

utumunta: It is also corruption ; when religious leaders refuse to say d truth , prevaricate or pander to interests favourable to them at d expense of d masses.
Pastor Bakare, u speak d truth most times, but, i am still waiting for u to condemn d killing of corpers in d north after u & Gen Buhari lost an election in 2011. Has d incident not been brought to ur notice or do u speak selective truth?
I don't know how old you are but u sound realy naiive politically. What makes you think Buhari or Bakere had any hand in the bloodshed. For all we know, it well might have been a spontaneous self motivated reaction, or planed by pdp to further dent the image of the general.
it is a technique that has been in use for as long as we can remember. Recall in 1933 Germany, Hitler and his party, in other to purge Germany of Jews and consolidate his powers, orchestrated the burning of the Reichstag and blamed it on the Jews... In a swift reaction to the arson, jewish neighborhoods were raided, some captured were sent to concentration camps while others were sumarily executed! When u want to hang a dog, give it a bad name...
And if you want to see where Buhari condemned the act, here it is... mobile.saharareporters.com/news-page/buhari-rejects-political-violence-calls-it-dastardly-act
Others might exist but this is what I have.
Have a nice day.
