SportsRe: Ronaldo Should Win Ballon D’or, Not Messi – Mourinho. Should He? by omicron(op): 8:56am On Oct 14, 2012
ddippset: One of the most ridiculous asertions in world football today is that ronaldo is a winger.a winger and how many assists has he? He is a winger on paper but on the field, just watch madrid's matches and see for yourself.ronaldo is always around the 6 yard box, he even displaces benzema for position and at the end of the day people like mourinho will lie telling us he is a winger. Where are his assists as a winger?he stays near the yard 6 box waiting for ozil alonso de maria to pass him the ball.messi is even. More of a midfielder who always drops back to the midfield.and mr morinho telling us about big trophies and small trophies. Messi in his time won the champion's league.where is ronaldo's champions league medal.la liga isn't so big all of a sudden.la liga isn't so much bigger than messis 4 trophies.tito might say messi is the best he should win ballon dor without calling ronaldos name but why does mourinho have to campaign for ronaldo and put messi down in the process? Insecurity I tell you. He knows who the best player in the universe is.finally he says messi is the best and ronaldo is from another planet?commom mourinho you are stealing messis superlatives.
morinho is clearly spoiling it for CR7. His arguments are usually invalid to a large extent, and the world knows that. No wonder messi still gets the more of the votes each year. Personally I pity ronaldo. He is so unlucky to attain the level he is during the time of messi. And talking about La liga and Barca's Four trophies last season, I would consider those four trophies combined together a greater achievement to the La liga won by madrid, so that is not even a valid point. It is not as if Messi didnt win any trophy last season.

fredoooooo: some0ne should please tell the only one to concentrate on coaching real madrid .....NEXT

messi , iniesta or casilas is going to win this time
True, morinho should stop begging jounalists to vote for Ronaldo but instead allow the winger do the convincing on the pitch. Too much talking by him, trying to appeal to people to give Ballon D'or to CR7 will ultimately prove counterproductive. But it's still between Messi and Ronaldo. Respect to Iniesta, but I think he is a bit below the levels of ronaldo and messi

I hope we can all put sentiments aside and answer this question objectively. Morinho has brought up new points into this argument such as how harder it is to be Ronaldo than Messi, and the fact that CR7 plays as a winger but yet scores as much as Messi who is the Club's No 9 striker. Yet he seems to concede that Ronaldo is not on any higher level than Messi but simply deserves the award because Messi has one it 4 times, an argument i find biased. What do you say? Balon D'Or. Messi. Ronaldo. Who SHOULD WIN IT?
SportsRonaldo Should Win Ballon D’or, Not Messi – Mourinho. Should He? by omicron(op): 3:23pm On Oct 12, 2012
It would be a crime if Cristiano Ronaldo lost out to Lionel Messi for the 2012 Ballon d'Or, his Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said on Friday.
Mourinho hit back at remarks by Barcelona coach's Tito Vilanova last weekend that Messi, who has won the award for the past threeyears, was "the best (player) in the world by a long way".
"When someone with the same responsibility as me comes out andsays: 'Mine is the best on the planet' then I have to say: mine was not born in Madeira, he was born on Mars; he is not from planet Earth, he is the best in the universe," Mourinho told Portuguese daily A Bola in an interview.
"If Messi is the best on the planet, Ronaldo is the best in the universe. It would be a crime if Ronaldo did not win the Ballon d'Or."
Ronaldo won the award in 2008 and Mourinho said it was time to recognise him again.
"If you are going to give out the Ballon d'Or because a player is the best, give it to Cristiano or Messi. But I ask: if the two are on the same level, is it normal that one wins four and the other one? It is not."
In Sunday's 2-2 La Liga draw at the Camp Nou, Ronaldo became the first player to score in six consecutive 'Clasicos' with his ninth and 10th strikes on his 16th appearance against Barca.
Mourinho said a player needed to win big titles to deserve the Ballon d'Or.
"How can you win the Ballon d'Or without collecting titles, without winning anything important? Don't come to me telling me about the Intercontinental Cup or the Supercup, this is small stuff. Tell me about fat titles," Mourinho said.
The Portuguese coach said Ronaldo had had a tougher career than his Argentine rival.
"It is harder to be Cristiano than Messi. Messi grew up in the team where he plays, with the players with whom he plays. Not Cristiano. He was in England, then they put him here in a losing team. He had to grow over the last two years with this team which has been forming," Mourinho said.
"One (Messi) plays as a (number) 9 and roams around in those 50 square metres where the distance to goal is smaller and defence less intense."
"The other (Ronaldo) plays as a winger. How does a winger score asmany goals as a number 9? Besides, Ronaldo is a player who is not protected by anyone."
The Ballon d'Or, which merged with the World Player of the Year award in 2010, will be awarded on January 7 in Zurich.http://www.supersport.com/football/spain/news/121012/Ronaldo_deserves_award_more_than_Messi

His family has the freedom to reside in any part of the country sha, but that will equally increase d feeling of insecurity amongst the ordinary citizens and give more gutts to the boko boys. Next thing is for the Governor himself to leave the state...then Boko haram will then declare victory for 'capturing yobe state' with all that would follow.
PoliticsBoko Haram: Yobe Governor Reportedly Moves Family Out Of Damaturu. by omicron(op): 5:56pm On Oct 09, 2012
By SaharaReporters, New York
A source within the government of Yobe State has told SaharaReporters that Governor Ibrahim Gaidam had moved his family out of Damaturu, capital of Yobe State, to an unknown location. The source said the governor’s decision to relocate his family was informed by Boko Haram’s widening insurgency and terrorism in the state.
A security source in the state also revealed that the governor had adopted extraordinary security measures to insulate himself as wellas members of his close family from the violent activities of the militant Islamist group.
The state governor earlier decided that Yobe State should not have any official activities linked to “the Governor’s Wife’s Office.” It is a common practice in most states to create a formal office for the governors’ wives, complete with programs and high-profile activities.
Governor Gaidam’s spokesman, Abdullahi Bego, recently went on radio to deny that the governor had moved his family. Even so, Mr. Bego could not explain the whereabouts of the governor’s family. Nor did he affirm that they were still in Damaturu, the state capital. Our source insisted that the First Family had been moved.
A top opposition politician in the state, who asked for anonymity, criticized the governor for moving his family to a safe place even asBoko Haram continues to make the lives of other residents miserable.
“It is a bad omen for the governor to hide his family somewhere when he has been pleading with others not to flee the state.”http://saharareporters.com/news-page/boko-haram-yobe-governor-reportedly-moves-family-out-damaturu

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Newcastle Vs Manchester United (0 - 3) On October 7th 2012 by omicron(m): 12:36pm On Oct 07, 2012
Referee Chris Foy who was in charge of the Man. Utd vs. Spurs game have been demoted to League 2 by the Football Association (FA), but the reason behind this
demotion is still Unknown. Mike Dean, referee, when
Blackburn beat Utd 2-3, hasn't refereed a Utd game ever since. Clattenburg (1-6 to City) hasn't refereed a single United game after that Manchester derby. Ex ref Jeff Winter openly stated that he hadn't been given a United game for 2 years after sending Keane off. Mike Dean - referee, in 2010, after Utd's defeat to Chelsea, was demoted to the Championship. Wiley, called "fat and unfit" by Alex after Utd's draw with Sunderland, "agreed to retire" that season. Martin Atkinson - Involved in Utd's defeat to Chelsea, criticized by Alex, hasn't refereed Utd since.
Howard Webb has been United's most used referee since the 6-1 defeat to Manchester City .
More than 18% of the penalties Howard Webb has awarded in his 8 year career have been to United. & he is the refree assigned to United's game vs. Newcastle at the SportsDirect Arena today.
I seriously hope & pray United will not be playing with a 12th player today- Howeb Webb!

uzomagic: It's rather unfortunate that a small matter of the perspective from which a picture was taken has become an issue for name-calling and denigration of our Nation and her leader by idle arm-chair critics who out of lack of substance to their endless criticism, resort to the mundane and the ridiculous.
The Hall in which the General Assembly of the United Nations holds is a very massive one and most times, the front row seats are usually vacant. The cameraman simply took a picture from the perspective he could get and some nincompoops come here to write that the President was addressing an empty hall.
i wonder o! And though i didnt watch it live, but how are ppl sure this was nt photoshoped. Everytime a pic is posted in nl, suspicions usually arise as to wheather d pic is genuine or photoshoped....how come nobody has questioned the genuineness if dis photo, if not for mere HATE!

onomeasike: you must be a complete fool for trying to rationalise a clear case of indiscretion on the part of Jonathan angry angry angry.Give that same platform to a barack Obama or Almajinahed of Iran or even the deranged Albashir of Sudan, none of these guys despite their personal faults will give a dry shallow remark made by Jonathan. An Obasanjo would have used that platform to seek the reform of ICJ itself! We as a nation feel wronged by an icj judgement, our senate is on the verge of doing a damage control inflicted by icj, what better opportunity to tactically play the icj or even review our membership or be completely uncommital!!At least show respect to the senate and the bakassi natives, that platform in this circumstances and time is not ideal to make a pronounced endorsement of icj!!!In international diplomacy, perception is very important!!What would you,as a foreigner percieve,if you read a press headline stating "nigerian leader endorses ICJ,I will abide by bakassi judgement(deliberately twisted to replace all ruling),he insists" the next day foriegners read that some natives are protesting against the ruling, nigerians are thus percieved as confused and illogical, mind you,the icj judges will read these views and may be swayed to favour a more focused cameroun just because someone can not use his number 6!!Jonathan must be sanctioned!!
all the effort done by patriotic researchers to dig out fresh facts in http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/09/bakassi-belongs-to-nigeria-fresh-facts-reveal/ will be rubbished by negative perception foisted by a simple-minded president!arrrrgh

playah P: Brother, I saw ur case and I felt like God led you to me; I suffer from a case of high blood pressure despite the fact I'm way younger than your mom.....

My mom is a doctor and she gave me the drug "diazepam".

Please give it to your mom and tell her to take one daily.

It worked like magix for me...

Does she get headaches?
And burning sensation??

Please try the diazepam! Its a prescription drug. If you find it difficult to get it, send me an email and I'll see how I can get some to you free of any charge!! If you are in lagos, I can give u my adress... Pls just try this drug!! Come back to nairaland and give testimonies.

I'd recommend she checks her blood cholesterol level, malaria and other small small test!! Send me the result and I promise I'd also give u feed back after I table your case to my mom!!!

I just took the diazepam, and I feel sooo relaxed. God bless u.
stop misleading people...diazepam is not an antihypertensive, and you do not have to suggest it to someone online! It must not be used anyhow! I hope u knw how addictive it is when continously usedhuh
