HealthRe: Brush After Breakfast, Not Before — Expert by omicron(m): 3:07pm On Nov 11, 2012
Brushing after eating is the correct thing, cos the essense of tooth brushing basically, is to remove food particles which plaque the teeth after meals and encourage the growth of bacteria thereby causing dental carries (tooth decay). If you must brush before eating, then you must also brush immediately after eating. Otherwise the best practice is to rinse your mouth with clean water after waking up in the morning, believing that you have done the right thing of brushing after supper too. Brushing before eating is comparable to cleaning one's a*s*s before using the toilet! You can quote me on that

ifyalways: Pato405 and Omicron, if you guys just got to Benin pre Oshimole then you guys are in no position to query my stance.

You need to have been in Benin before and after Oshe baba to rate him especially in the area of road network and transportation.

Btw, I'm not an indigene so have nothing really at stake here. Just saying as I SAW and EXperienced
I was not in Edo pre- oshiomole, but that is another issue altogether. This part of your post is what I sought to correct, this part: "when it comes to road network and infrastructure, Oshi baba beats Fashola and all"ban okada" governors." And I'm sure I made my point. Oshio may have been a hero so far in Edo, but yet your quoted statement above remains invalid.
Christianity EtcRe: Have You Ever Seen A Vision? by omicron(m): 11:52am On Nov 11, 2012
During the Under 17 world cup final in Nigeria, I saw at halftime that Nigeria would score a goal that would be controversially disallowed. I immediately asked my the viewer next to me when it is said to be a goal - when the ball touches the net or when it crosses the line - and he anwered the latter. I told him then that we would score a goal that would not touch the next. Deep in the second half, Nigeria bundled the ball across the opposition's goal but a free kick, controversially, was awarded against us! Was that a Visionhuh

ifyalways: I don't care about his statement but when it comes to road network and infrastructure, Oshi baba beats Fashola and all "ban okada" governors.

At the end of the day, all man is doing what he deems best for his state but in due time, the end would justify the just. cheesy
I hope you have not hastily generalised. I have been in Benin for several months now, and though I can't say the roads are particularly bad (except the Hell of a road in Egor), but it yet does not provide me with the ease and comfort and the organisation I feel when I move along and across the networks of roads in Enugu city. I cannot say much about Lag cos I'm not in a position to do that, being that I know little about the roads especially during this Fashola era.

No crime in that. But considering discussions so far, I guess topic should have read: "Is it ever justifiable for a guy to beat up his girlfriend or wife in a relationship" cos that is clearly where opinions strongly vary.
CultureRe: The Hardest of the 3 Major Language to Learn by omicron(m): 12:52pm On Nov 09, 2012
HAH: I agree and disagree on your views. yes to me too igbo is the hardest but the easiest is hausa, cos i have seen many corpers who just spent 1 year in the north learning how to speak hausa at least the basic communication, though yoruba is also easy is not as easy as hausa and one thing I noticed is that the yoruna language spoken in lagos particularly is most adultrated with english which make any by stander to pick something out of a conversation.
One month in camp in Katsina I could speak basic hausa. Hausa is indisputably the easiest! Hardest.....well, it depends on a lot. My friend now speaks Igbo quite intelligibly just cos he got an Igbo gf of about 4 months now.
Whatever a woman does to a man does not deserve a beating unless of course she attacks him first. If she does not slap you or pull a gun on you why beat her up? It is senseless and cowardice.

If as Vivian says the moan always insult him, why can't he insult her back? Why mist you beat her up for insulting you.

Does it also mean if his mother insults him he will beat her? Lepa be practical here.

If a woman insults you in public and you beat her up, you will go to jail for assault. No excuse that he insults you will save you. But if she hits you first, then you have a sensible defence
You're making big sense bro. But that's for the guys, really. What really gets me is why the so-abused women will always run back to the same coward who relishes beating them sometimes without remorse?
RomanceLadies, Will You Stay With A Guy Who Physically Abuses You? by omicron(op):
I've seen a lot of it. They come back crying to u....why? Cos their boyfriends have beaten them - yet again! And I cant help but wonder why they still remain with such men, which is why I ask: Will you choose to remain in a relationship where the man habitually abuses you? And what keeps ladies in such relationships going? Any contributions and experiences are welcome!
PoliticsRe: David Mark.. National Assembly Will Create More State, Anioma To Join Anambra by omicron(m): 5:03pm On Nov 08, 2012
Andre Uweh: Utter nonsense. How can one take Onitsha out of Anambra state. Onitsha is Anambra and Anambra is Onitsha. The people of Onitsha have never indicated their interest in joining Anioma as they are not part of Anioma.
ANIOMA stands for: ANIOCHA, NDOKWA,IKA AND OSHIMIRI. If one adds Ogbaru and Anioma, then it is not Anioma.
Anioma being created and zoned to the south east is a good idea but must not touch Onitsha and Ogbaru.
Anioma , commonly referred to as Delta Igbo or sometimes Enuani , comprising towns and communities located in Delta State , South-South region of Nigeria . Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has been the Executive Governor of the State since 2007. The Anioma are Igbo people in Delta State. For administrative purposes, they are referredto as Delta North thus contrasting the Delta Central and Delta South densely inhabited by the Urhobo, Ijaw, Itsekiri and Isoko, the other ethnic groups inhabiting the State. The Anioma region has a total population of 1,114,055. [ 1 ] The population figure quoted here does not include those of Anioma communities located outside Delta state. These include Ukwani , Enuani , Ika ( Agbor ), and Aboh .
A small Ika population can be found in neighboring Edo State specifically in Igbanke, Oza and Ekpon. The term Anioma means 'Good Land' in Igbo and is also an acronym derived from the four original local governments i.e. (A) for Aniocha, (N) for Ndokwa, (I) for Ika, (O) for Oshimili, M and A are common denominators found in the four original local governments. The coinage was made by the founding father, Chief Dennis Osadebay in 1951 and has since remained the preferred indigenous name by which the people collectively refer to themselves. Thus, A-N-I-O-M-A. Sentimentally, there are also Anioma people in Anambra State i.e. Onitsha , Ogbaru,Akwukwu Obosi, Ozobulu, Ogidi, Oraifite. Some are in Imo State i.e. Oguta, Rivers State i.e. Ndoni, Ogba. Anioma people who had one destiny prior to the coming of the Europeans were balkanized afterthey lost the Ekumeku War of resistance against the British imperialism in 1914 after 31 years of fighting.

Bros Luiz is not ''a doubt''. He is serving a one-match suspension for having been booked five times this season. So Iva is most likely partnering cahill while azpiculieta continues at right back. Torres and Iva got one match ban each, and duly served that by missing the midweek Capital One Cup ''part-justice'' against Manure! Mata is fine too.

And, them like to do so much exhibition too. But that aside, i have met a few catholics who are actually christians.

Wait a minute (before you stone me with pure water), being a catholic simply means you go to catholic church - finish.

Being a christian - well, this is an individual things - and is based on your life-style and how much of teachings of Jesus you follow. And whether you allow the fruits and the gifts of the holy spirit blossom in you.

Mark 16:17-18

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Arsernal Fans Distribute Satirical Flyer At Club's AGM by omicron(op):
Arsenal fans are set to take the club'shierarchy to task at their annual general meeting after a satirical flyerwas handed out to supporters, with chief executive Ivan Gazidis the maintarget.
With the club sat ninth in the Premier League table following an indifferent start to the new campaign, the losses to Norwich andSchalke within the last five days haveled disgruntled fans to distributing the spoof leaflet. The flyer lists six criteria to become amember of the Arsenal board, with rising ticket prices and a lack of improvement on the pitch given notable exposure. It reads:
"1. Ensure best players are sold each summer.
2. Punish fans in the pocket (again).
3. Keep on that top 4 is a trophy.
4. Spin about the club's ambition.
5. Gamble by placing all eggs in the FFP basket, with no plan B.
6. No silverware required. Package: £2.15m PER YEAR."
The leaflet then finishes on the line"ever get the feeling that you're being ripped off?"http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2012/10/25/3477105/fans-distribute-satirical-flyer-at-arsenal-agm

SportsA Tribute To Mikel Obi - The Irreplaceable Chelsea Midfielder by omicron(op): 5:00pm On Oct 23, 2012
Every match. Every coach. Every game needing the quality and skill of a genuine star, Mikel must play.

For a player who sadly remains unappreciated and largely underrated by many, it is surprising how he comes to play virtually every game at one of the best clubs in the world - the current Europeans Champions - Chelsea FC!

Brought to Chelsea FC ahead of Manchested United amidst controversial circumstances after a scintillating outing at the World Youth Champiinship in 2005, ranking only second to Lionel Messi as the best player of the tournament, Mikel was soon converted to a defensive midfielder by the former chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho - a role he has since grown into and matured in over the years.

Criticised frequently for his lack of attacking courage as well as his occasional proclivity to give the ball away, and making rather unnecessary passes at times, Mikel Obi remains the best for his position at Club, and arguably one of the best in the holding midfield role Europe-wide in recent years.

Mikel's strength, stability, ability to command control of the ball and an eye for passes make him an invaluable asset for any club. His excellent performance in Champions League triumph of Chelsea is a noteworthy attestation to his strength and confidence at the top level, as his 720 degrees dribble in a fantastic game at White Hart Lane last saturday reminds one of the many capabilities of the two-time African Young Player of The Year at Chelsea.

His strings of consistent performances in recent seasons has seen him put off challenges from the likes of Ramires, Frank Lampard, Romeu and previously Meireless, making him highest in the pecking order of defensive midfielders at Chelsea - a role which he is likely to still control in the years to come giving his newly extended contract at the Club

It is however sad that many have continued to vilify the 25 year old's style of play, often highlighting his weaknesses, in a rather destructive manner, while continously overlooking his qualities.

Suffice is to say that whoever that would continue to dispute the quality, worth and professionalism of Mikel Obi will do well to ask Roberto di Matteo, and indeed all previous managers of Chelsea, why and how Mikel has proved seemingly irreplaceable at Stamford Bridge!
