INEC has the final say. |
Obinoscopy:I like your argument sir. But let the court decide whether President Jonathan was elected with Yardua or ONLY Yardua was elected. |
DrJoe1:The look on Jimi's face is '' what does he know about Lagos? Switch off the mic jo'' |

Comsol:You are correct sir, it is those hungry looking people that will vote. The beautiful people will sit at home not wanting troubles. |
dammiedex:Please could you elaborate on why cars would be very cheap in Cotonou in January. |
Chairman, your topic go reach front page very soon. Anyway, please how much is 07 Toyota Verso? |
Hi people. How was your day? Quick one, I have a link to a company that has cash and looks out for supply. If you have links to a company that wants supply, you are cool. The company has cash up to twenties of million in Naija fund. If you have links, you would be entitled to some percentages upon confirmation/ supply/subsequent payment. Please note that we are talking of big companies, like BUA, Larfage etc and not a one man show that you would have to chase them around before you are paid. For more holla me 'kleandenation at yahoo.ca' leaving your phone contact/ the type of supply and I will contact you. Many thanks. |
hazyfm:This is useful. Many thanks. |

atlwireles:My people said you should be careful if throw stone in the market, so that the stone will not hit your relative. I hope we know that the house can turn around and make moves that will put the executive into jittery. |
isrecole:Please guys download a copy of the Constitution and read. I don't like when people comment without backing it up with authority. There is nothing our Constitution that says a Speaker of House of Reps should resign if he changes his party. By the way, it was not PDP that installed him as the speaker. Please check your facts/authority before commenting. |
San2ski:I think there should be a Google page in here where you search for a Topic and it will bring out all the threads on such topic. Registration of companies is one issue that has been over-flogged since 2005 on Nairaland. |

CFCfan:The courts don't just grant stay of execution like that oh! You have to show among other things that if the judgment is enforced the rem in it would not be persevered. I don't see anything the courts need to preserve here. |
Stakekay1:That someone appeals a court decision is not final. You are expected to file a stay of execution of the judgment pending the determination of the appeal and the stay must be heard and granted. However, while your appeal and your stay of execution are still pending, the judgment must be obeyed. No story. No constitutional crises. For me that guy would be sworn in and that would be the end. The house should not have accepted that letter. Except they do judicial abracadabra, the outcome would always be the same in Court of Appeal and finally in Supreme Court. |
sirjohnson:I could not find anything different from what the OP has here. |
Everyone has said it but let me add this small point. Except you want to start your own business immediately otherwise, if you want to work anywhere in Nigeria, that NYSC thing is compulsory oh! Let me add that it is not likely they would issue exemption to you once you are 30+, since their record will show that you were mobilized. Please try Merlissa's option otherwise " GO and SERVE". |
dapsoneh:Please always read. Kate Henshaw has VDV flag on her poster |
Paroman:I see that you have likes for your quote. That is good. Please if you meet those criterion don't hesitate to apply. Workforce is like a training ground. They recruit an average 50/70 companies' entry level in Nigeria (with the exception of Oil & Gas/ Servicing). 'I run my own law office', so please don't think I am a marketer for them or something. I just feel if you have an information others don't have it is not bad to pull it out. It does not mean I am pleased with the criterion either. Many thanks. |
Abraham2013: Bros wenever u r dealing wit d sss n dey tell u "we detaining u on matters of national security" just cool down being beg dem cos no court will get dem to part away wit a penny. In as much as wat u said above is correct, wenever d sss plays d card of national security, dey always win. As 4 el-rufai, d highest he can get is a handshake and a oral apology.Good point there. But if you fight to the top, they gat to pay. |
Entchidodo: This is a gaffe from the Judiciary...the SSS isn't the police and hence are not bound by the same laws like the military...don't these senile court folks understand the full weight of The Patriot ACT in the Constitution?.. Your position seems to be alright, most importantly when I see about 6 likes. But let me give you an Idea about how the Constitution runs, even though it appears as if there is generally lawlessness ever in the land. In a normal country setting, the Constitution is supreme. That is the basis upon which other laws are made. Thus, the SSS came into existence by the instrumentality of a LAW/ACT of the National Assembly, if there is any provisions binding on DSS as they are sometimes called, it is the provisions of the Constitution first before any other law. The implication is that the SSS is bound by the Constitution. The Fundamental Human Right as enshrined in the Constitution and other codification is inalienable, once you can prove that it has been breached, you do not need to bribe a judge before they will grant your reliefs/prayers. |
aljharem: Exactly, it explains he has lack all objectivity.. Falana hails from Ekiti just as I am. He has a country home in Ekiti and when the need arises he goes home. He has the Locus standing not only as a senior member of the bar bus also as an Ekiti man to raise his voice in this terrible situation. I will not delve into whether what he is saying is objective or not. |
Federal Government setting up a probe panel (beater) in a matter within the purview of the State Government. Okay, may be because foreigners are involved and their home government seized money from us recently. |
3 or 4 Oks and noted and the thing is in the front page. By the way, why are we having double page of the same thread on the FP? Mod please address. |
Well these are other angles to the story= /ZSuQx and /ZSuA3 by Dr. Peregrino Brimah, twitter handle @EveryNigerian and also published on Osun Defender. |
RockMaxi: This is another set up to rubbish our security system and our totality as a nation. Thanks for your post? Nobody is asking any question? What is the Air Marshall doing in Nigeria? Who attacked him? Was it in the company of other Marshall? How come he was immediately flown back to the US? Can someone who does not know a Marshall from the US attack them? How come it is only the Marshall that was attacked despite that we have hundreds of white skin folks trooping into Nigeria daily? There are enough questions and like someone said, if you have been to the airport lately and see the hordes of security agents there, it would be difficult to believe this story. |
EMMASON125: A friend of my told me that almost 90% Lagosian is infected with eBola. FG should kukuma quarantine Lagos state to curtail the spreadAnd you believe this? |
Sincere9gerian: The latest approval rating will cause Tinubu and his attack dogs to develop intractable diarrhea.I like you. You speak as if you know tomorrow. |
The problem is that they don't trust that SME can give them as much return as the Big wig. How much would they possibly make from someone whose profit is not guaranteed? The CBN need to put in place measures to ensure SME can on a normal basis access funds from our Banks. Not setting aside a huge sum like they recently did (the gesture is appreciated but hope the fund would not be embezzled). |
teeo: This would be the death of PDP. I can only imagine the alliances that the North would form with the South West, Edo and Rivers state already belongs to the opposition. Awka Ibom is on its wey to the APC. Imo state na APC propertyIt used to be Arsenal now it is Man U |
Blackchampion: Yea! If markets n religious gatherings re open; then i see no nid postponing school resumption date.Yes you are right! But I think we should allow the government do their work. Please do you have children? Have you been to their school? Do you know the ratio of teacher to pupil most especially in these private schools who are making terrible money? The issue is this, the population of children in religious places and markets cannot be compared to that of schools. Even at that parents can still help their wards in those places, in terms of washing hands, sanitizing hands etc. If they are in school, who would do that for them? I see this cry as that of revenue loss and not concern for the children. Like someone said, mine would be at home for now. Many thanks. |
