I think you should have done more research to prove SR was wrong rather than wait for them to give you link.
FamilyRe: Which Is Better: Boy Or Girl As First-born? by omogidi234(m): 8:17am On Jan 07, 2014
modele2: Advantage of boy first : removes the societal pressure early in marriage. However there is a God factor. No matter our ovulation math, he sends his own preference so u guys should quit playing God.
I agree with you that one should not play God but I want to assure you that God who said " be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth" is the one who has given us (scientists now) the ability to subdue the earth by unearthing how to get a boy or girl from Him.

Thank you.
FamilyRe: Which Is Better: Boy Or Girl As First-born? by omogidi234(m): 8:12am On Jan 07, 2014
Hia,

Happy married life. I have so many folks around me who are trusting God for babies, that alone presented me with an opportunity to take any one of the sexes that comes first.

So for me, anyone is good first.

But if we factor in your MIL's position, I think it is worth to pray and calculate for a boy. I know this should and ought to be a nuclear family, however, I can assure you it will take time before MIL from both sides will hands off. Oldies in marriage will have you hear that.

Please do this, goggle ovulation calender. Download it on your pc or your tablet or smarphone. Now input your cycle, the calender will give you fertility days as well ovulation date. It will also give you a gragh of when best to get a girl and when best to get a boy.

Please note these calculations will require Internet connection.

Caveat. Assuming everything is fine, no Low fluid, woman is okay and no "external problems" if you meet on the date given to you as ovulation " mama na boy".

Best regards.

Thanks for your post. That is like viewing the issue from another perspective. Me think BY Silver has a point. The decision you sited appears to me as a foreign authority. You will agree with me that a foreign authority most especially foreign decisions are not binding on our courts only of persuasiveness. It seems to me that there is no Statute envisaging this scenario in Nigeria and there appears to me "not to be any judicial precedent". Anyway, we are all saying the same thing.

If my position above is somewhat true, then the likely event that the bank would be held liable is 0.00000%.

I am thinking right now, (although tough), that should the claimant be able to establish balance of preponderance in his favour, it seems to me that he can recover damages from NDIC (and not from the bank) which usually insure bank and its buildings in Nigeria. My thoughts.

Many thanks.

Although, I noticed the reduction in Limited Liability Company. I cannot confirm that for NGO. Please go to the nearest CAC and make inquiries.

cute-boy:
I suppose what @ibnzubair meant was given that El-Rufai is a Muslim was he in the church service when Bakare made those "cow" comments? Abi he is the PRO of Latter Rain Church or Bakare's PA?
Thanks for the post. I wanted him to look at it from the stand point that I can associate with any one and at anywhere as long as I respect their rights in that regards. Let us be realistic, don't we have weddings and occasions in churches and mosques that we attend just because of our loved ones? If we want to attack El- Rufai for peddling rumour or creating unnecessary situation, that is okay but we need to stop coming down to these tribal and religious issues. Apart from corruption, these are secondary principalities tearing us apart.

ibnzubair: Rejecting a gift is not the best way to seek good governance. The gift seems to mean "lets put our pasts behind us". IMO, he should have accepted it then advice the president as a friend, well-wisher and good citizen.

By the way, why should the news come from El-Rufai? Isnt he a muslim?
everything you said was okay until that muslim part. we need to get to a place that we look at ourselves as first and foremost human beings, Nigerians before tribe, religion etc.

I got a good job in Ikoyi when I started my careers years back through a muslim link.

I think real estate is good. If you buy a property and you are fortunate not to have any issue, your returns know no bounds.

However, since you talked about the drawbacks, I think you can look at treasury bills. With the help of Nairalanders in the investment thread, you should get one. I feel it doesn't have drawbacks.

shinaf: contact your bank
correct. Please call their 080290029000 or so and block the card.

Secondly, one of my folks who is an it guru told me that once it happens like that, it means your card info has been compromised. Usually from inside the bank or through someone who you came by and you do not suspect.

After the initial blocking of the card, you need to go to the branch where your account is domiciled and take it up accordingly.

I wish you all the best in recovering the money.

PropertiesRe: I Have 5 Million Naira And I Need A Land In The Heart Of Lagos by omogidi234(m): 8:34am On Dec 18, 2013
2busy: Best Response to OP question

Cheers
No I do not think so. The OP said he wants something at the heart of Lagos (mainland). I quote him below:

"Hello everyone, I have the sum of 5 million naira and am in need of a full plot of land with all appropriate documents in the heart of lagos (not outskirts like ikorodu, ibafo, badagry, ajah). The land must be on the mainland and I would not mind buying a building and demolishing it inasmuch as the cost is within the price range specified above. Drop your land location and contacts. Thanks"

And one of us gladly spelt out what the heart of Lagos Mainland should look like:

"Your price is unrealistic for 5million in the heart of Lagos, Yaba,Ikorodu road, ilupeju,Gbagada,Ikeja, maryland,Allen,Adeniyi jones,Ebutemetta,Akoka,Magodo,Isheri, ketu, ogudu,Ojota, oregun,Mile 12, Ajegunle ,ojo, badagry, festac ,etc.Keep you money and grow it"

Although, I strongly feel Ajegunle, Ojo, Badagry and Festac should not be in the list, that notwithstanding, page 1 to 4 of the website displayed only N5m plot between Ajah axis and Mowe axis and some Ikorodu except one in Amuwo Odofin (which I feel is not heart of Lagos Mainland).

Should I then ask you please how is it the best response so far?

I also feel strongly that the query is not being properly addressed but I am happy that we can see areas where one can still get N5m plot in Lagos and environs.

Many thanks.

It is obvious that you cannot get one plot of land in the heart of mainland for N5m. That is why no one is giving you an offer. It is an herculean.

Thanks, I wanted to do this however, @ OP, N5m would only get you half plot in some areas like Ogba.
If you are fortunate, you should get one plot at N5m at Oloowora behind Omole 2, otherwise na outside town be that.

Naijamericana: I would like to get any leads or advice on foreign company registration in Nigeria. My intention is to register a private company with limited liability. The current company is registered in Delaware, USA. Information such as:

1. Can it be done online?
2. What is the typical cost for registration?
3. Does one have to travel to Nigeria for registration?
4. What documents are required?
5. How long does it take to become fully registered?

Would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi,

chika.chike86: has answered majorly your question, but I will like to ask if you have a Nigerian passport because that is key.

If you do not, you would be regarded as a foreigner. For a foreigner to register a company in Nigeria, the requirements are much. The list goes like, 10 million share capital, expatriate quota, residence permit, registration with NIPC, NOTAP etc. Once you or anybody on the proposed company has naija passport, there wont be much process.

Again, the two weeks timeline completion is feasible for Nigerian residents. If you are in diaspora, I have to use a courier to ferry documents to you to initial and return to me. Depending on where you are, to and fro for ferrying can't be less than two weeks. In those days, we use to initial for people in diaspora but these days you have to append your signature because of CBN policy which only allows your signature on company documentation as your banking signature.

You will need to submit the name you have registered over there in Nigeria in order to check if you can use it here. It is not automatic.

You need to be specific on what you want to export into Nigeria from your base, we can then advise you.

Should you want my firm to assist you, please do not hesitate to mail me, kleandenation@yahoo.ca.

Many thanks

What is the landing cost? What is is your commission (is it static or varies)? What is the clearing cum duty cost? Do you have idea of how much it will cost to fix that affected part? What is the payment structure? I have to ask oh before I start something I cannot finish.
