rickleye: STOP PRESS !! I know someone who had been away for 15 years and just returned this year. His bag was supposedly tampered with ( It had arrived in an earlier flight ). The plastic wrap was removed -however on closer inspection, there was a note from the American law enforcement that they had opened it, checked it and removed NOTHING.
I am saying this to say, It isnt the norm.
That said - YOUR BAG isn't worth 400 Euros. Maximum 60 euros. If you purchased a bag for 400 euros - you have been taken to the cleaners. A set isnt worth 400 Euros so lets stop with the lies. Yes, TSA do open bags. For regular travelers there is a lock you can use. All they have to do is open the lock and check if they suspect anything. All your belongings will definitely be intact. |

Oh well, so much for that 400 Euro haha. On a serious note perhaps Papa God was furious that somebody who might consider himself a man would be wearing perfume like a little fairy girly boy. Here in Nigeria WE call perfume/cologne PERFUME so don’t judge him. A lot of us don’t know the difference between perfume(woman) and cologne(man). He passed a message with how his belongings were stolen. |

Their policies always have some TV and video benefit but never benefits the ordinary man in any tangible way because this fake news will not reduce any price, put food on any table or buy fuel in car.
They design policies that cause fear and make the value of the Naira to fall and fall, and create a huge gap for the forex marketers to make super normal profit...and they show fake video. Politicians have stockpiled so much money that the little in circulation cannot go round. This policy will force them to bring out and spend all these ill gotten monies within a space of 45 days. |

If after investigation, the dismissed DSS officer knows nothing about the robbery before it took place and his house was only used to share the loot, he should be in for a very long time. As for the mofo that took someone’s life during the robbery, either a life imprisonment with hard labour or death penalty is good.

Politics › Re: Lagos Parking Levy Is Constitutional - LASG by OmoNla99: 12:22pm On Aug 30, 2022 |
Megabig: Nigeria copying the right things but not delivering their part.
Whenever I drive into any parking in major cities in America, I’ll pay a parking ticket. You can also find places without a fee which will likely be a stonethrow from where a ticket is requested but we pay anyway because those fees are highly administrative and channel into development and other services which will eventually return to the masses. Lagos will copy the same approach, can increase the money anytime they want, then forcefully collect it and siphon it. Even when it’s obvious that the money keeps getting stolen of part of it is going into a personal purse, no one goes to jail, everyone just moves on…
Until corruption is limited, people will continue to pay for services, will never enjoy them and will continuously question why they have to do so and they have that right. There are no regulations in Lagos, they can just wake up one day and place a certain bill on the masses and then loot after collection. It’s crazyyyyyy Thanks for the clarification that this happens in MAJOR CITIES. I think you forgot to add that these parking levy and ticketing only happens in commercial and administrative areas and not in residential areas. Also to add that these tickets are mostly paid during the day and working hours. What the Lagos state government is justifying is for all car owners to pay a levy for parking on the street in residential areas. I don’t think that is done in America. |

LienwaltAbel: Utter nonsense. Try it outside Nigeria first, you won't see your car till you pay a hefty fine. Imagine coming home after a long day of work to see one stupid stranger's car parked in front of your house, or imagine trying to leave for work and one useless fool parked his bolekaja in front of your car. Say the truth. You go happy? What the op said is not blocking the entrance to a property but parking on the street or beside the house. Outside Naija like you mentioned, you can park on the street as long as you are not obstructing someone from driving into their property. Also, if their is a no parking sign you cannot park. |

sgtponzihater1: Anyone can enter one way or the wrong route when driving especially in an unfamiliar territory. There are stipulated laws to regulate this.
In advanced Countries if you pass through a bus lane you pay a fine, and you are given the option to contest the fine if you disagree. No one has the right to harrass you or call you a criminal on that account. They should have shown the police action that triggered Rufai's anger. Do you think this fine thing is applicable in Naija. Ask yourself where the ticket will be sent. A nation without proper citizens data? The Oseni man was in the wrong and should face the consequences of his actions. |

Eddygourdo: Students who graduate from Nigeria wonder why their qualifications aren't respected outside Nigeria. How can they respect it when they know the state of your educational facilties and funding levels. How will they when they know your lecturers are technically beggars, who live on piece meal to survive.
Face the government and tell them to be up and doing in human capital development. Create world class institutions like the private are doing at public level. Let the common Nigerian have access to good educational standards and watch how the sky would be exceeded in their limit.
As for survival. Alot of them are taking loans because everyone knows the government is only wasting time. The strike will never be called off till all salaries till date are paid. Nigeria qualifications are well respected in the western world. I can’t tell for the middle eastern countries though. |
Health › Re: My Girlfriend After Checking Her HIV Status Told Me This by OmoNla99: 1:10am On Jul 24, 2022 |
I’ve had it so rough (sex without condom) when I was growing up. The first time I would do a HIV test was about this time last year when I went for my blood work. The HIV 4th generation results showed non reactance and not either positive or negative that I’ve heard people say. When the results came out, the doctor administered some drugs based on the blood work results. I keep checking my results everyday because I didn’t understand the non reactance. A couple of weeks later, I had an appointment with the doctor and I was told results don’t say if you are negative or positive but reactive or non reactive. I was SUPER elated. All these years I believed I was a carrier. Now I know my HIV status. Go get tested now pls. People living with HIV are living a healthy life as long as you take your medicine the right and proper way. |
