bawss . As much as you might wanna defend microsoft.

Windows 8 is way out . I mean why would i have such graphichs wrenching os on my system. We pc users want more effectiveness. i dont want my pc to be like a smartphone. I want an efficient os. Just posit seeing windows 8 on a corporate office pc or a programmer's pc. What we want is an efficient os and not graphics and scrolling desktop screens. Also Microsoft shot itself by implementing the windows store idea on windows 8. Go as game developers if they would be interested in developing more games.

Microsoft has lost focus. If you want to fight the smartphone and tablet market develop an os for them stop lumping the desktop pc's with smartphone. They don't just converge. I have promised never to instal windows 8 and i won't because of the "distractions"

Here are some steps you need to take if you use iCare Data Recovery Standard to settle Flash drive not formatted error.
First: You should download iCare Data Recovery Standard into your computer.
Second: Install it.
Third: Insert your USB Flash drive into your computer.
Fourth: Open the software and press Recovery.

I also use command prompt to copy the files by opening command prompt first then

type xcopy E: (depending on the drive location it can be f, g or h)

it should copy all files in the flash to your document settings folder.

Same here. She's a good writer though but am not really moved by most Nigerian writers except Cyprian Ekwensi with his humorous description of characters and scenes. So sad he his dead.

Ame Lon Ro: The screen of my laptop suddenly went blank and then I tried fixing it. Technicians said it was the flex. I kept it at home and one day after like 5 months I took it to a technician. He was still trying to look over when the monitor came up and started booting and booting and booting.

Since then it has started working. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO THE LAPTOP

many things. 1. The video card might be bad. It happens. 2. We leave in a region with a bit Harsh weather. Too much heat or cold can affect the performance of some core pc components like the vga. 3. The flex might have been bad or slightly disconnected and the engineer touching it might rectified this even though it was unintentional. 4. The engineer guy na winch na holy water he use touch the system. Lol

OppyG: Good evening bro, God bless you for the good work. Lately, my system responds extremely slowly despite of the "Avast" anti-virus on the system. i downloaded "regclean-pro" even "Systweak" applications but all they could do was to find several errors (registry errors, user-related errors etc) but couldn't fix all because it was a free trial. I couldn't download full version because of on-line payment stuff. Now, my system won't boot successfully to my desktop window. After welcome message the screen goes dark with no display of any of the title bar, tool bar, or the menu bar. What do i do to make it boot successfully and to also make it work perfectly well i.e booting fast, responding fast to my clicks. Thanks, i'll be waiting for your reply.

i have always said it that seun is a myopic fool. More reason am opening a new forum very soon. In biz never mix personal with your biz. But sentiments guide your thinking. i used to think people were always being paranoid when they said seun is the one fanning the embers of tribalism here just to gain traffic. Now i know better

A man in India was
recently caught as he
attempted to buy a stolen baby
on Facebook. The man paid
800,000 rupes, or approximately
$14,749, for the child. The
kidnapped baby was being sold
because of actions taken by the
newborn's grandfather.
According to local authorities,
Feroz Khan kidnapped his
grandson from the boy's mom
in Ludhiana, Punjab, India.
The
grandfather told his daughter
that her child was stillborn. The
grandfather then sold the baby
to a nurse who sold the child to a
lab technician.
That lab technician, Gurpreet
Singh, followed up the kidnapping
by posting a picture of the 3-
day-old boy on Facebook.
Eventually, businessman Amit
Kumar offered to purchase the
newborn.
The baby's mother became
suspicious when her father gave
her some of the cash from the
sale.
Shortly after realizing what had
happened, police tracked down
and arrested Khan, his
accomplice, and both of the
hospital employees who initially
purchased the newborn child.
Kumar is also facing charges for
his part in the purchase of the
kidnapped baby.
According to police, Khan sold the
baby because he wanted to
arrange a second marriage for
his daughter. The girl's dad
believed she would not find a
new husband if she was already
raising a child. The child's father
abandoned his family before the
birth.
Khan and the two hospital
employees could face up to
seven years in prison if found
guilty.

partly true but you left out the positives. Only in Unilorin you can walk at midnight freely withoui fear of molestation or harm. I use to walk round school till 4am without fear also you can date any gal you want without fearing who owns her .

Ifetex: tnx 4 d respond, but the yellow coution triangle can nt be deleted when right click it wount show delet 4rm d bar it only shw -create shortcut-troubleshoot & properties

then troubleshoot it or click properties and click uninstall. Restart system and it would be fine.

First......restart computer....go to
start...control
panel....system.....device
manager....under dvd/cd drives
open + and look 4 yellow caution
triangle icon...right click and
delete...close window....go to
start....run....type in "regedit"
ok..go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE...open + on
SYSTEM open + on
CURRENTCONTROLSET open + on
CONTROL open + on CLASS open +
LOOK 4 {4D36E965-E325-11CE-
BFC1-08002BE,etc.} and click on
it........to screen on right look for
"lower filters" hi-lite....go to top
left and on edit right click and
delete! Do same 4 "Upper
filters"..........close window and
restart computer.............without
touching any buttons on
keyboard....except to login......you
should see driver being installed
once again for your dvd/cd
drive.........GOOD LUCK!!

purplekayc: gurus ooo!! i just ran a avast full scan on my p c only to discover when it was starting up to be asking for administrator and password which i never configured into it when i was loading my xp OS in the initial place .. what could be the problem guys ?

restart your system and press f8 to enter safe mode. Just select administrator and log on. When you have logged in go to control panel and select users. You can remove the user password from there.
