favor914: The one claiming it is a Yoruba that wrote the article, and The culprit that wrote the article, must everything have an ethnic undertone, now Dangote is a bad person, IBeto is a good businessman?
I've taken the time to google the author and he's a real person, so I'm still at a loss at your angle??
Patrioticman007: The are talking about Fulanization/monopolistic agenda of Dangote, while its a fact these same elements have monopolized,/ igbolized anything hard drugs, cocaine pushing, fake drugs in the country. Answer me where did the term Igbo made come from ?. Its like pots calling a kettle black. If we truly want this country to work let drop all these ethnic sentiments and work hard, not the hypocrisy we are seeing today.
Like I said, if there is a thread for the above we can thrash the topic well. Meanwhile I'm struggling to understand the Igbo angle here because the article was written by a Yoruba person?
Patrioticman007: These olodo's won't read had Dangote been an Igbo Guy, they won't have let us hear word.
What of the monopolistic acts of Igbo's in drugs dealing, fake vehicle spare part & imitations ?, Let's call spade a spade millions of Nigerians are killed because some unscrupulous elements choose to sell & import fake drugs in to the country, the people are from one particular tribe. The Northerners sells fresh farm produce & meat to them, while they send tramadol, codiene, hard & fake drugs up North as thank you.
Maybe you can start you own thread on the above instead of pathetically trying to stoke up ethnic sentiments in order to derail this one.
COMPAQ: South Korean economy is dominated by Samsung, Hyundai/Kia.
Those companies control almost 60% of Korean economy.
It has its pros, but also its cons. Wouldni like our economy to more diversified away from Dangote and BuA? Yes I would, but other people have to come forward. It won't happen if all the rich men just sit in Banana Island in their mansions.
I keep saying Nigerians like easy business. Banking and Oil and Gas where little technical skill is required. Have you spoken to some bank marketers? Totally daft. Can't even tell a good story of why you should bring your money to their bank. Thats why they send sexy women most times. Elumelu recently bought an oil block from Shell. Why hasn't he done something more intellectually demanding like a refinery or petrochemical complex. Cos drilling and selling oil, while it also has its own technical demands, is relatively easy money.
So you will sit there with a straight face and say that these companies are successful because they took risk? Are you not even curious to know why other rich men like Adenuga and Otedola are not going into cement and sugar manufacturing. Are they not risk takers? Don't they like more money too?
COMPAQ: Amazon and Microsoft are constantly being looked at as monopolies. Did you not see the Senate hearings a few months ago when Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook and Microsoft were grilled by US senate for like 2 days over anti competitive and monopolistic practices??
They might look at them as monopolies, but that has only happened because they have become so big and successful that they are almost impossible to compete with. What they did not do is get 100% govt backing to start their companies and then proceed to push govt to give their companies unfair advantage in order to stifle the opposition.
SyrusdeHansome: All I know is that no matter how he tries to defraud Nigerians he can never be ranked among 70 richest men in de world. Money that won't follow him to the grave.
Haven't you noticed that the richest men in the world are people that came up with innovative ways of doing things. Look at Amazon, Tessla and Microsoft. They did not come into an existing market, stifle the opposition and become a monopoly. There's only so far you can go doing that. Having said that I must say that I don't blame anyone for doing that. Even Americans and Europeans will do the same (and have done so in the past) if given the opportunity. Its the job of government, regulators and law makers to checkmate such activities.
Rhodaogunpeju: I decided to write this because I have come to realize that Love can get boring.. . I remember when I met my husband , he was such a Nice and handsome Man. I mean I already decided if he ask me out I will say yes from the first day I met him but I still made him beg and purse me for a whole year before finally accepting to date him ..
6 months after our relationship we got married. and our marriage was bliss , I married a friend , we have our downs and quarell but we always make up before we sleep because of the fact that we made it compulsory that we must have a family prayer Every night , we usually settle most of our fights during these prayers ..
But sometimes marriages can get boring , you have gisted all the entire gist ,talk about everything talkable till there is actually nothing to talk about,. Then the husband starts drifting away .maybe he's got a new friend or found a new love ...sometime this new love might not be a person ,For instance my husband new love is politics..He's always working and when he's home he is either watching the News on Tv and even when he tries to talk to me he will be like "Baby can you believe what kai muhammad said again"..
And I'm just sitting like who and what is my concern with lai muhammad?... Yet he doesn't see my reaction,he just continues to talk untill we fall asleep.i listen to him because I have to he is my husband.
The love flame was slowly wearing our ,I mean he no longer wants me to wait for him before I eat. .. if I call him to inquire when he is coming back home , he replies with "I don't know but eat o.. don't wait for me "...
How about the sex life ... What use to be mind blowing sex is now just average .just because he's had too much if it ..I could also say the same about me..I mean before seeing my husband in boxers turns me on but now even if he's naked it doesn't seem to move me
Hmmm but regardless I still love my husband. .I have sat him down many times and talked about spicing things up but you know Men... Anyways the moral of my story is that when you marry ..marry someone that even when he/she changes you would still love them because trust me they will.... .
That is why I say marriage is a scam. Everything about marriage is rigged towards failure.
You share the same room with someone day in day out
You see them shltting
You hear them farting
You hear them burping
You see them sick
You see all their nasty personal habbits
You see them when they are weak
You see them crying
You see the 'other side' of them
You see them naked, and as they relax in the marriage and add some weight, You see the hanging belly, boobs/man boobs, stretch marks etc
You see their early morning face, early morning toh toh or preeq, that no one else sees.
You see all their vulnerabilities
As our people say "you don see them finish" aka "familiarity breeds contempt"
On top of all that, you will have quarreled severally and said very hurtful things that nobody else (including your mama or papa) had ever said to you.
Na so so curse you go dey curse am for you mind "Hello darling" but your mind will say "useless man" or "lazy woman".
One day you go just look the man/woman and ask yourself "how did I end up here with this thing?"
Meanwhile one guy outside, who only sees the finished product (make up on point, waist trainer activated and wig in place) will be eying your wife. Or one babe outside who only sees oga with power dressing activated inside nice car will be eying your husband.
Marriage na scam. But you could still get lucky though
[quote author=Ctorch post=99479356]I pity Chioma – Nigerians reacts as Davido steps out with alleged new girlfriend in St. Maarten (Video).

cannot live on bread alone. Any girl thinking that she can hold down black celebrity, especially African, who is at his peak is on a loooong ting. Maybe when they have started fading and aging (Tu baba I hail o!).
bilms: A former Presidential Candidate and Business Man, Mr Gbenga Olawepo Hashim has declared that Nigeria is better together (FOR SOME OF US) despite the rising tension in the country.
The veteran human rights activist maintained that, the Unity of Nigeria is best for the country SOME OF US and this is also the decision of our founding fathers who are most experience and tolerant.
In an exclusive interview on AIT focus Nigeria, Hashim made an excellent presentation about the state of the nation and proffered immediate steps needed to move the nation forward.
Zubby Michale recently gushed over veteran actress, Ini Edo in a very funny way on social media.
Ini Edo caused a stir in her latest post on her Instagram page when she shared some hot bikini photos that attracted the attention of various celebrities under her post.
The reaction of Zubby Michael seemed to have stand out from the barrage of comments that her photos got. Zubby was so mesmerised by her beauty that he said he would unfollow her if she continues sharing such photos.
jaybenugo: International music star, Wizkid Ayo Balogun has flaunted his riverside property in Ghana; a house, an in-house studio, and a luxury yacht, IgbereTV reports
The singer who allegedly moved to Ghana with his family seems to be making big use of his time and living it the best way possible.

The house as well as the yacht and studio setting is indeed massive.
Thebest12: Dear nairalands . Good morning all . Hope you have a nice day . I am here to table my problem to matured minds . Pls I need a genuine advise or better still a suggestion . My problem is that I have a lot of female friends . But each time they pass night with me in my room or a hotel they don't allow me touch them . I mean they normally denie me sex . And I am a kind of easy going guy . I don't like forcing them to avoid it being tagged rape . Am I being too gentle ? Pls advice me
JosephXavier: So after all these calculations you still come here to ask us if it's your pregnancy?
You just came to ignite guys against ladies in my own judgement
How come a grown up man will be acting like a simp
Yes he came here so that younger guys can learn and see how easy it is for a woman to foist another man's child on you. That's the issue here. The cold hearted and wicked way that a woman will just try this type of crap without even blinking.
Islie: NDLEA officials had raided some drug spots in Agege, Ikorodu, Lekki, Okokomaiko and other parts of the state, where they dismantled major drug syndicates and arrested suspects.
Date-Rape drug. They will book N5k olosho, spike their drink with this drug and them subject to all manner of sexual depravity that is far beyond any amount that can be paid to an olosho. For some other girls, they will take compromising pictures and videos of them, and then use it to blackmail, extort and control them.
This drug Rohypnol is very dangerous because the girl will be barely able to control her muscles and will also lose her inhibitions. Also she will barely remember what happened the next day or might experience amnesia.
For this reason the authorities must investigate the buyers because they must be heartless criminals who have destroyed people's lives. They should have used the people arrested to bait and trap the buyers before publishing their faces like this.
Yusufisraelj: You are not wrong yet at the same time you are not right. Lols, e get why
Some of us in the business lane way don bid for contracts worth billions and fail and slept with hunger can tell you there's more than meets the eye in big businesses even with brain capital and discipline. You would want to argue this but don't e get why :
I won't argue with you because you are correct. You might need more than those attributes to succeed. BUT let me state it here and now that there is absolutely no way anyone can get rich and successful by just joining one cult or society, do blood sacrifice, or black magic and take other types of bloody oaths. All that one na Nollywood. Don't get me wrong o. I know there are some societies, cults, clubs, confraternities etc that HAPPEN to have rich and powerful people as members. **Please note my emphasis on HAPPEN**. Therefore logically, if you manage to join such setups there is a possibility of gaining influential contacts that can HELP pave the road to success for you. **Please note my emphasis on HELP**.
Why I emphasised HAPPEN? Because it is not the swearing of oath or any useless sacrifice in these setups that create wealth. Its the fact that they have a reasonable number of influential and powerful people there who are able to enable wealth creation. Therefore if an average person with the right personal qualities joins such a setup, they would be able to take advantage of the contacts there to HELP themselves make money or create success. The wrong person there will just be a burden to everyone else, making one bad decision after another inspite of massive opportunities and access given to them. The wrong person there (as is also the case when such people are gifted large sums of money or easy money spinning contract, or massive loan) will squander the money on luxury things, extravagance, over the top unnecessary charity (father Christmas) and high living or women. Alternatively the wrong person will lose money on bad investment, poor planning, mismanagement or being embezzled - "A fool and his money are soon parted". We all know people like that. This is why when some people make the argument that Dangote was favoured and had connections etc. I agree with them, but point out that he took 100% advantage of all the opportunities that he had because he had the RIGHT qualities. Was he the only Hausa-Fulani person with such opportunities? What did they do with it? The wrong person would have used those same opportunities with only about 1% result.
PastorandMentor: I'm just laughing at you all. These men belong. OK i agree he was humble that was why he maduka introduced him to their cult. See this world is spiritual. There is a level you can't get to until you Join.. You can build one small 3 rooms in your fathers house, buy small Toyota corolla, but for you to be able to control wealth, i mean real wealth, you have to look for someone who is already there, humble yourself and he will introduce you to the cult. Some people won't still understand my point. Don't quote me
Yes, the CULT of self believe, self discipline, organising, planning, self restraint, rugged determination, can do attitude, ignore naysayers, humble yourself, know your limitations but keep it to yourself, its never been done before doesn't mean it can't be done, ignore stereotypes, ignore ethnic generalisations, only spend what you can easily afford except its an investment, spending money on a woman is not investment etc etc.
That cult is very difficult to join because it goes against the grain and against all the crap we've been told by losers. Most times you have to be close to someone who has joined it to closely observe how they apply the cult's rules on a day to day basis and how it yields results for them.
The day public office holders in Nigeria will be expected to look after the welfare of ALL Nigerians, and not just their tribe or region, is the day Nigeria will begin to move forward as country. If not, let us just split amicably because we fool ourselves a lot in this country.
I'm not a sadist, anti-government or anti-Christian but I think this is one of the misplaced priority we keep having in this country. No government should spend public funds building worship centres whether church or mosque etc.
And to think this is a billion naira project, how does this help the economy of the state? You would say it has provided contract (temporary) jobs for those working there but after the completion, what next? Think of if this money was to be rechannelled in building production industry or empowerment to the people of the state who poverty can clearly be seen staring in their faces. Misplaced priority!!!
Billion Naira down the drain. Churches only recycle money already in the economy, just like the famed Internal Generated Revenue. We should be focusing on projects that bring money into the economy.
tsephanyah: They will now shout our "Oil money" Our. But human history shows the strongest takes what they like. Our economic policy, I repeat, is determined solely by the interests of the Northern people. From this principle we shall never depart. If the rest of the world says: "War," I can only say: "Very well. I do not want war, but no one, however peaceable, can live in peace if his neighbor intends to force a quarrel."
The only time you make sense is when you are outright cussing SE people and esabilshmemts, so perhaps hate motivates you? Other than that, you write barely comprehensible gibberish. Ramblings with random quotations thrown in discordantly.
tsephanyah: Nothing but the truth. IPOB terrorist, thugs, hoodlums, Gboys, will argue otherwise you people live thousands of kilometers away and know nothing about the situation. Cho, cho cho putting mouth everywhere. Maybe you will understand this verse "Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? . . . Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it." Proverbs 8:1, 6-11, KJV
lefulefu: I saw one instagram video i think yesterday or day b4 yesterday..This nollywood actress i cant remember her name now..who happens to be a mother was twerking her ass wearing a very tight mini skirt while her two children where smacking the backside as she was twerking it .she uploaded that kind of video on instagram those are the kind of modern parents we have now in nigeria i just laugh at anybody who says he wants to train his or her child by sending the child to naija. If u want ur child to be disciplined then install the discipline on him/her.
Entirely self absorbed with no boundaries. When will such decide that its time to sacrifice their personal pleasure/enjoyment, and focus on properly guiding their children? They used to say "no old woman in Ghana", but I think Nigeria has overtaken them.
JOACHINpedro: For where I Dy so, marriage dy flow wella. Almost all my departmental girls are taken. Every Saturday wedding here and there. Guy no dy lie unnecessarily.
Yes, despite everything mugu still full everywhere just like, in spite of everything oyinbo still dey pay for Nigerian Prince and romance scam.
