PoliticsRe: The SE Must Get Either The Senate President Or Speaker Of House Of Rep by Onlytruth(m): 10:11pm On Apr 17, 2011
@Ileke-idi

Tomorrow we can talk about economic corruption.
Today, we dealt a death blow to POLITICAL corruption, which is the worst form of corruption plaguing Nigeria.

The next war is a walkover after this victory.

PoliticsRe: The SE (Igbo) Should Be Commended For Supporting GEJ by Onlytruth(m): 9:49pm On Apr 17, 2011
For the first time, I am beginning to believe in Nigeria.  cool

This stuff is HUGE.
Things would not remain the same after GEJ.
Nigeria has changed for ever.

I'm doubly proud to be an Igbo man today because my people spoke with ONE voice for the first time since after the war. cool

N:B

Folks, please ignore "emperorolu" playmode

He has nothing to contribute here. Let him keep hallucinating from his SA hideout.

It is really sad that Yorubas never vote non-Yorubas. The figures are alarming! shocked shocked shocked

So, after voting in their reps last week, they basically went home. Chei! cry cry

It is well. I'm happy that other people are seeing what I've been saying here about Yoruba. cool

hoodboy

I meant almajiris up north.

Do you think they would play "local detective" (like you tried to do undecided) to secure Jonathan's votes in say Daura or other rural North village.

Southerners and their naivety sha.

PoliticsRe: Ali Monguno Condemns Ohanaeze’s Call On Igbo To Vote For Jonathan by Onlytruth(m): 6:34pm On Apr 16, 2011
^^

So how is that any of YOUR concern?
Shouldn't you be rejoicing that "Ibo" is losing grip, since you hate them so much?
Why are you having sleepless nights over this so called "Ibo foolishness"?

I dey laugh no be small.
PoliticsRe: Ali Monguno Condemns Ohanaeze’s Call On Igbo To Vote For Jonathan by Onlytruth(m): 5:30pm On Apr 16, 2011
“It is ill-timed and uncalled for; in the sense that it smacks of division; it smacks of anti-peace, anti-progress and anti-security,” said Monguno.
You see! This is why these people hijack power at the center all the time. So, Ohanaeze endorsement of Jonathan now constitutes breach of peace?  undecided undecided undecided undecided huh

That is how they have defined Nigerian law and warped it beyond commonsense. Citizens can only exercise their views if they are in Arewa. If other groups try it, they must be charged with breaching of peace!
I'm sure this is part of why Pat Utomi was calling for the system to be pulled down completely; a system of animal farm where some animals are more equal than others. Well, bad news for Mr Ali "Mongo", Mungono, we have learned from the best.

Jonathan will get our vote EN BLOCK.  cool

At this stage, after being confident that Jonathan would win this election, let me congratulate Ndigbo for speaking LOUDLY with ONE VOICE, and pray that we continue in the future. After the results of this presidential elections are announced, I will begin a campaign here to recruit a Nigerian of Igbo extraction to vie for the Nigerian presidency in 2015 (if Jonathan is not going for another term) or 2019 (if Jonathan will go for another term). Either way, our quest for Nigerian presidency after Jonathan begins on Monday. cool
PoliticsRe: Gej Endorsement, hope Igbos Will Also Speak With One Voice During Their Turn? by Onlytruth(m): 12:12am On Apr 16, 2011
@topic

I have to say that the OP is onto something, even if his intentions are malicious. I have been an advocate of Igbos speaking with one voice. That is part of why I support Jonathan. The day Ohanaeze Ndigbo pronounced support for him was the day I buried my support for other candidates. End of story.

I always tell my people Ndigbo that sometimes it pays more to follow "foolishly" than insist on personal positions "wisely"
Politics is not logic all the time. Most times -even more so in Nigeria- it is illogical, and almost makes sense when you see that you have gotten what you want in Nigeria; eg development, peace, justice, etc.

So, yes! We should learn to speak with one voice, and we have recorded a HUGE step forward with our current support for Jonathan.

If you don't know how to sacrifice for others, YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW HOW TO SACRIFICE FOR YOURSELF. (another onlytruth quotable quote  cool ).

All my fears about Peter Obi and Victor Umeh prior to this election finally proved right. They had no real plans for victory, and APGA paid for it. cry
