Crime"Jane Uchendu Is After My Life Over Properties" - Chibuike Raises Alarm, Allege by onochurch(op): 2:10pm On Nov 19, 2023
"Jane Uchendu is after my life over properties" - Chibuike raises alarm, allege late father's sister

By Naomisophyblog

Chibuike, son of Late Ikechukwu Ozoemena and Chinwe Vivian Ozoemena cries out over the threat to his life for fighting to take control of what belongs to him and siblings. The 19year Old recounted the trauma faced and ill treatment melted out on his mother and siblings after father's death.

Chikaodili Jane uchendu, brother Chukwuma Sebastian Ozoemena, Ifeanyi Eze(Cousin), other extended unknown cousins from Ichida Aniocha Local Govt in Anambra is being alleged to have attempted a transfer of all Late Ikechukwu Ozoemena's properties by all means necessary including a court order in agreement with the Kindred to Jane's name leaving the children out of their father's properties and proper care.

Chibuike said his father died in 2021 while he was still in SS2, he had plans to spend the holidays with father( Ikechukwu) as both parents were temporarily separated not divorced and lived in different places. He revealed that the circumstances surrounding his father's death was very suspicious. Mr Ozoemena, Chibuike's father had a maid employed by sister(Jane), shortly after the employment Ikechukwu fell ill as his body started shutting down out of strange weakness, when it got worse Jane alone took him to the hospital without telling either the wife or anyone at all.

Instead Jane hurriedly went to his business place asked the secretary for money to pay surgery fees for brother( the dieing Ikechukwu). All was done in absentia of Mrs Chinwe Vivian Ozoemena his wife yet Ikechukwu's family was aware of a reconciliation plan between the two as they weren't divorced , they only needed to stay apart for a while due to irreconcilable differences orchestrated by the sister Jane at that time.

Chibuike said they only knew about father's death through hear says, unconfirmed information and rumours which was unfounded as at that time because Jane was bent on not telling anyone about Ikechukwu's condition. He said his mother was consistent with asking around which led Jane to blurt out the statement "Go and check the mortuary if you are looking for your husband". Shortly after that his mother contacted the appropriate authorities to look into the matter, Vivian was confused as to why a man she had spoken to few days before will be dead and no explanation as to what led to the death. Both families were invited to FCID Alagbon where the case was handled and resolved on the basis of conducting an autopsy on the corpse his mother and siblings never saw.

Jane Uchendu with the support of the kindred defiled the resolution and went ahead to bury corpse without conducting an autopsy. Moreso Ikechukwu was buried without wife and children there to pay his last respect as custom and culture demands, the burial was hurriedly done in their absence. Jane Uchendu before the burial had confiscated all the properties of Ikechukwu which includes landed properties.

Chibuike said Jane upon death of brother went straight to the shops at Aspanda on a sunday, forced her way into securing the valid properties documents in the shop including cash, birth certificates, the family international passports which had visas and $700,000. She visited Ikechukwu's residence at Raji Razaki in Festac Lagos, towed away all 7 cars which includes hilux 2019 model, lexus gx490, camry, honda accord, others cars and some more properties.

Chibuike in tears says since 2021 no one has confirmed his death to him, mum and siblings instead they see posters of him wanting to be buried like a bachelor no reference to his wife and kids like in many burial poster inscriptions. He hasn't even seen his corpse let alone attend the burial function simply because his father's family is bent on having all his father's properties to themselves. Says controversies surrounding his father's acclaimed demise is too grievious to just let the perpetrators go unpunished. Mrs Jane Uchendu and Mrs Sebastian Ozoemena should be held responsible of concealing the truth from me and my siblings, I demand an explanation as to why my father was buried in my absence, my father before his death had warned me about his siblings, extended cousins of their evil deeds while alive, Sebastian blurted.

Sebastian further said:

"Many unknown cousins have springed up planning on how to share my father's property, Mrs Jane Uchendu my father's sister had gone to probate court to give false information so as to get my father's properties transfered to her name using the kindred as a back up. The court didn't have an incline to verify that the company documents was in my mother, I and my siblings name to say even if he didn't write a will, he already allocated company and properties legally to wife and children."

Chibuike stated that father allegedly died when he was 17yrs old and none of his property proceed was used to cater for their education, says he had to stop school while attending to menial jobs to support mum, they slept in church until they had a small place to stay while Jane was busy collecting rent from his brother's properties, the family never cared. At 19yr old, Chibuike is out to take over what they said he wasn't ripe for, so as to cater for mum and his siblings. Jane has been plotting by ways of employing people to send death threats to his mum and siblings. They have been asked to stay away from their father's properties otherwise face the consequences. Chibuike revealed that Mr Jim best the former Aspanda president was used as a medium to fight mother Vivian helping Jane to take over the company but the new president of Aspanda kicked against injustice and gave access for a reopen which the family finds unpleasant.

Chibuike further revealed that his mum was served a paper from probate in December 2022 claiming that the Estate they both built from scratch now belongs to Mrs Jane , father's sister while the deceased youngest brother Chukwuma and some distant cousins will be in charge of a business that was registered in family name branded AHP, the initials of the 3 children of Ikechukwu Ozoemena is branded AHP on all the goods for sale. They went as far as inculcating forceful assertions to Aspanda authorities with a court order which was reviewed in Favour of Vivvian, Chibuike's mother as against their wishes. The lawyer they claim is my father's lawyer is an unknown person, the cousins we have never seen resurfaced, he said.

Chibuike stated that in the tussle, his mum was able to claim a flat In one of his father's houses, Jane and Ifeanyi his father's siblings through Barr. Okechukwu instructed that no rent be paid to his mum. I am calling on Nigerians and well meaning bodies to come to my aid, my family is not safe as death threats from father's family is increasingly worrisome in the fight for my rights, he quipped.

Mrs Chinwe Vivian Ozoemena wife of Late Ikechukwu Ozoemena also affirmed that he is suspicious of her husband's family being culprits in the demise. Says Ikechukwu was a sickle cell victim but aged above the crisis at 49. He never had coughing sickness but was coughing seriously the last time we spoke which aroused some worries, he confirmed to me he was getting weaker by the day before his death. In igbo culture, the man's children and wife must be present when he is being buried but he was buried without our consent and last rights, Chinwe said.....

PoliticsLASG, Mushin Market Leaders Responsible For Closure Of Market - Traders Lament I by onochurch(op): 6:27pm On Nov 16, 2023
LASG, Mushin market leaders responsible for closure of market - Traders lament in a protest led by Human Rights Group

By Naomisophyblog

Human Rights Group AMPEF( Voice of the voiceless) with convener Comr. Saviour Iche led a peaceful protest at the popular Mushin market on 15th November 2023 following the temporary closure of Awolowo Ultra Modern Market Odi Olowo Ojuwoye, Ojuwoye Market Odi Olowo Mushin, Mushin Main Market, Daleko Market, Odo Ashimowu Market Mushin.

The intention behind this protest is to appeal to the conscience of Lagos state govt body in charge of environmental law & services (LAWMA) as well as demand the opening of the Mushin market within 24 hours for traders to commence business as usual. The market was closed on Sunday 11th November 2023 by Lawma on basis of violation of environmental law, traders affected by this closure says they have adhered strictly to Lawma's law and sees no real reason for the market closure.

Traders who spoke with the press said the fines imposed by Lawma for the alleged contravene is extortion and a deliberate obstruction of trade for personal motives which has caused immeasurable losses for traders especially those who sells perishable goods like frozen foods, tomatoes, vegetables, skin hide (Pomo), smoked fish, meat and other foods...

AMPEF convener Comr. Saviour Iche who led the human rights group and the press to hear from traders as well as pass a message unto the Lagos state govt said traders are in awe of the closure situation as there was no pre-notice. He expressed displeasure over the fiscal damage Mushin market temporary closure had caused for traders, many sells perishable goods to survive as well as train their wards in school, says most of the goods sold are perishable goods, thereby incurring massive loss of money.

Iche said:

"Lawma alleged that the market sellers disobeyed the environmental laws but the people don't have where to dump refuse in the market. Everywhere in Lagos is dirty for lack of good drainages and quick waste disposal dump site, using the traders as a bait to be punished for the inefficiency of Lagos state in creating proper facilities for littering is improper.

During the elections, Lagos state govt campaigned in these same so called dirty market but didn't warn traders who supported them about closure for violating environmental laws. People can barely survive due to inflation, the state govt shouldn't inflict more pain on the masses, some traders with little resources can scarcely feed well or pay school fees. Now that their means of livelihood is totally cut shut, how will they even survive? "

Comrade Iche calls on lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu to open the market within 24hrs or the market will collectively take legal action against them as well as petition to pay all damages incurred in the loss of goods.

Interview with traders on the situation experienced in the Mushin market closure:

Nofisat Odulana said Lagos state govt is not fair in taking these decisions, says some traders don't have husbands to support the family but saddled with the responsibilities of home front welfare to feed children and aged mothers as well as cater for school fees. Complained about how goods increases in prices on regular basis yet people manage to buy, asked the Lagos state govt the essence of voting them in.

Mrs Ayorinde says out of a 100 homes 75 are run financially by women especially traders, the locked up shops had affected means of survival amid hike in price of food commodities. She said food stuff market with perishable goods is bound to have rots and dirts a reason they observe environmental days and also pay Lawma for dirt packing. Explains that lack of good drainages on days when rain falls could spread around what traders have neatly packed for Lawma services, revealed that during the campaign the govt had promised to renovate mushin markets which is yet unfulfilled. Mentions that the closure of market has affected her badly, she is unable to feed her children, implores the govt to reopen market. Ayorinde said: We voted for Tinubu, he promised to make our living condition better we believed in his administration but he has left us disappointed.

Another seller said traders are passing through a lot, price of common food like rice, garri is high. Some have children in primary, secondary school and higher institution but cannot cater for them. The government has closed down our only means of survival, have mercy and reopen our shops, she said.

Mrs Edun a 60yr old trader expressed disappointment in the govt, says Mushin is where Tinubu got good votes, traders sacrificed their time and lives to vote for him, the gain of the masses who supported him after assuming office is suffering. Edun said shops have been closed amid hardship in Nigeria, she has 3 children to cater for and they barely eat, no aid from anyone because everyone is struggling with one bill or the other, the only survival for her is her trade.

Alaja Alimat a frozen food seller says In 1987, 30 kilos of Alaska fish was N240 and titus 25 kilos at N190 but presently, 30 kilos of Alaska is sold between N79,200 to N80,000. Says the suffering melted out on the masses is getting to an unbearable state. Lagos state govt has failed in their promises after voting them in power. Halimat said she is baffled at the rapid increase in every daily need of Netizens making things 10times harder than it was, supports the idea of the "Japa" syndrome by youths to sort for greener pastures owing to govts failure in keeping a stable economy. She revealed that many traders took loans from banks and other finance institution to do business and must not default in payment so as not to attract fines. How then will we meet up with payment when our perishable goods are in ruins? She said.

Mr Chijiofor, a trader says:

We pay LAWMA every month to pick dirt from the market. We were given a waste bin to dump dirt and we have been doing accordingly. We also pay market leader Iya Oloja a stipulated amount for extra cleaning of the market apart from the thursday exercise. We are baffled that our shops were locked for environmental issues, the govt is plunging more Netizens into poverty, does the government wants us dead? In my opinion the market is not overly dirty, the closure and fine is uncalled for.

Other traders who spoke with the press are: Ajoke, Damilola Sandra, Oluwaseun babatunde, begs state govt to reopen market in lament of money loss from perishable goods due to rot. Says Mushin youths who are thrown out of daily livelihood can result to stealing and other vices.

Some traders along the shop line in Isolo Mushin road also laments

Adebowale told Naomisophyblog that traders along the shop lines facing the street and not main market only found out on Monday morning about the closure without prior notice. Said efforts has been made by a committee to solicit for sellers in a meeting with lawma but to no avail. Adebowale said traders pays stipulated dues to mushin market committee yearly for sanitation and still observes the Thursdays exercise. Calling on the lagos government to open the Mushin market for traders to aid survival.

Akeem Owolarafe who has shops along Isolo road and agege motor park, expressed surprise as to why they were also affected by the closure, says traders can barely survive without selling while another trader Olamilekan revealed that a certain amount was paid to Lawma to stop the closure of the Mushin market having discovered Lawma recent actions carried out on popular markets in Lagos but still was affected.

Naomi Sophy Blog spoke with the PRO of Lawma Mrs Sade Kadiri about the situation of market closure and clarity on allegations by Mushin traders against LAWMA. She said paying a specific amount to iyaloja for cleaning has nothing to do with LAWMA laws when environmental order is flouted.
LAWMA photograph and evidences of environmental infractions is enough to prove that the traders are guilty as charged.

Sade stated that paying dues does not mean the market can be kept dirty until Lawma comes to pack dirt, there are steps the market sellers should take in order to ensure proper sanitation aside dumping refuse. She said, "Market sellers are supposed to have a bin tipper or employ one and not just dump refuse on the floor and there are evidences to this", People buy edibles from this places for consumption, LAWMA do not derive pleasure in creating a pause on people's livelihood, actions must be taken to checkmate dirt leading to ill health.

Sade further said:

"Several meetings have been held by Lawma with market leaders to curb the excesses of environmental pollution by waste. The meeting was also aimed at sensitizing the leaders in care of various markets to go back to their jurisdiction and exercise this laws, get waste bin. Whenever ministry of environment enact closure, traders will feign ignorance as to this binding laws. It should be noted that Lagos state do not take delight in shutting down markets.".....

CrimeWidow Laments As Family Takes Over Husband's Property, Leaves Children Out Of Sc by onochurch(op): 1:53am On Nov 15, 2023
Widow laments as family takes over husband's property, leaves children out of school

By Naomisophyblog

41 year old widow Mrs Chinwe Ozoemena wife of late multi billionaire Ikechukwu Ozoemena has been left to wallow in poverty leading to the stoppage of education for their children after the death of her husband. This antecedents has been aided by family members who are interested in confiscating properties and businesses of the late billionaire business man.

Late Ikechukwu husband of Chinwe died mysteriously 2yrs after separation from wife. As at the time of this report it was revealed by Chinwe that her husband, Mr Ikechukwu was seeking reconciliation with wife to celebrate his 50th birthday with a reunion when the unfortunate incident struck leading to disfinctionality in the family.

Mrs Chinwe explained that she found out about the awry incident of her husband's death in 2021 after separation in 2019. Says she and her husband were planning reconciliation after battling with marital issues for some few years which led to the separation and victimisation from family members especially an elder sister to the deceased who's also a widow. The elder sister of the deceased Mrs Chika Jane Uchendu was said to have been the push behind the separation between the couple as she further mobilized other family members to take over property after the death of brother leaving the children from the marriage incapacitated with payment of school fees and other essential needs.

Chinwe told Naomi Sophy Blog that on the day Ikechukwu died, she had called his phone severally as they usually talk regularly about reconciliation. To her amazement, Ikechukwu never picked calls for two days on a stretch which aroused suspicion as to if he was safe. The secretary of the A. H. P enterprise belonging to Chinwe & Ikechukwu Ozoemena also alerted Chinwe of the absence of her boss which led to inquisitiveness as to reasons for the awkward silence.

Not long after the suspense Mrs Jane, elder sister to the deceased came running to the joint shop for money to conduct an operation on Ikechukwu, the secretary revealed Jane came with two other persons to collect some money as well as documentations and the safe deposit box containing documents of properties and investments as well as over $400,000 in cash. The secretary further told Mrs Chinwe all that happened which led to an investigation as to what could be happening to her husband. Chinwe found out that he died at the hospital in Luth but she wasn't notified, she asked for an autopsy but wasn't granted instead the family of Ikechukwu hurriedly buried him without the notice of wife and children. He was buried like a bachelor in 2021 when in reality he has a wife and children of 19, 16 and 13 years old respectively, they are 2boys and a girl.

Information has it that Ikechukwu was admitted in Luth where he died, Chinwe said she noticed a decline in health during conversations on phone as he coughed uncontrollably but Ikechukwu denied the seriousness of his ill-health maybe not to raise alarm, she said.

Upon Ikechukwu's death, apart from documentations and cash taken away in a hurry, his family led by Mrs Jane took away 7 exotic cars and landed properties. Two(2) of this cars is owned by Mrs Chinwe, the family further locked up his warehouse and 9 of his shops at the trade fair complex Aspanda just to strip wife off any inheritance. The wife gave proof of her marriage certificate not divorce as well as company documents which shows her husband named her beneficiary to his inheritance. The company was registered in Chinwe's name which confirms Ikechukwu made her heir to his many establishments and properties but was stripped off every benefit as a wife.

Mrs Chinwe further took a bold step to claim her rights by filing a law suit by Barr. Nnanna Ogbu to gain access to the shops and properties confiscated by family to help her kids further their education but to no avail as Ikechukwu's family upon court's verdict filed for an appeal on the case. The shops located at Aspanda was also locked in compromise with the former president of the market for Chinwe not to have access as instructed by Ikechukwu's family. The 7 shops remained locked since 2021 due to the disagreements between Chinwe and Ikechukwu's family who is bent on making sure she never benefits from any of the properties.

Speaking with Barr. Nnanna Ogbu he expressed how unfortunate it is for widows denied of their entitlements after husband's death. Says it is sad that Chinwe was neglected upon bereavement, she had 3 children for her husband which includes an adult male of 19yrs old enough to handle father's properties but was denied his role in the proper burial of father. He said the evil act was championed by the late man's eldest sister Mrs Chika who is also a widow, enjoying her late husband's properties but doesn't want her late brother's wife to get the same treatment. He also said Ikechukwu's family wanted the properties of the late man shared by 80% amongst the family and 20% to wife but Chinwe declined on the proportion as she is a legitimate wife with three children to cater for.

Mrs Chinwe, her family and Barr. Ogbu thanked the new chairmanship of Aspanda Hon. Ngozi Amechebe for listening to the case in lieu and ordering the opening of the 7 shops locked up for 2yrs with a reassurance of maximum security by the CSO of Aspanda that: "On no account will she be faced with harassment from husband's family." The Igbo leadership council in Lagos also played key roles in making sure justice is served to maintain peace and orderliness as well as fight for the rights of the voiceless as in the case of Chinwe. The leadership of Ndi Ezes stormed the premises of Aspanda to register presence with the president of the market as well as mobilized security personnels to mount the shop area to stop Ikechukwu's family from further harassment of wife of late Ikechukwu.

Naomi Sophy Blog confirmed that the main focus of the claimant Chinwe is to enable the children left behind by late Ikechukwu the privilege to education and proper upbringing as well as rights to father's properties as their inheritance while she mourns the absence of late husband. The proper wake keep of Ikechukwu Ozoemena comes up Thursday 16th November, 2023 still without the presence of wife or children as Ikechukwu's family intends to bury him a bachelor as seen in the poster shared around.

Chinwe still fears for her safety and implores igbo leadership and the Federal govt not to leave her in this trying times as Ikechukwu's family is capable of taking her life for property sake.....

Church of God Mission: Members demand release of arrested church caretaker over defilement indictment by the Idahosa sisters In Abuja.

....Says Ruth and Daisy Idahosa alleged defilement accusation on Sam to cunningly adopt girlfriend's daughter without consent from mother is unproven.

By Naomisophyblog

Renowned Late ArchBishop Benson Idahosa's daughters Daisy and Ruth Idahosa detains man for 2 months over defilement indictment levelled against him. The Idahosa sisters failed plans to cunningly adopt his girlfriend's half cast daughter said to be a human trafficking returnee from Russia had led to this allegations.

28yr Old Faith Omoruyi who was supposed helped by the NGO named PATHFINDER foundation chaperoned by Ruth Idahosa upon return from Russia is now in dilemma over framed up allegations of defilement levelled against Samuel Adams her boyfriend for refusal to give daughter Svetta Omoruyi out for adoption by the Idahosa sisters.

It was revealed to Naomi Sophy Blog that the issue began when Faith Omoruyi the human trafficking returnee from Russia came back to Nigeria 7 months pregnant, gave birth to a mixed race female child named Svetta Omoruyi but needed financial support to pull through. She approached the NGO for assistance when her baby was just some few months old, the NGO run by Ruth Idahosa in its capacity provided a one year paid accommodation for Faith Omoruyi as well as enrolled her for a skill acquisition program but later recommended her for a job position at the school arm of Church of God Mission run by Daisy Idahosa in Abuja.

Situations went awry when Faith Omoruyi assumed position as school bus assistant while her mixed race daughter was supposedly cared for by Daisy Idahosa. Faith said she didn't see the care and support for her daughter as a guise to adopt at the beginning but later found out that her daughter's identity has been changed to the Idahosa name without her consent. Unpleased with the outcome of the identity change by Ruth and Daisy Idahosa, Faith voiced out her concerns which was met with hostility and disengagement from further support given to Svetta by Daisy as she vowed not to take any further responsibility for the child. At this point the mother, Faith assumed total responsibility for her daughter, Svetta Omoruyi.

Meanwhile Sam worked at the church arm of the Idahosa christian organisation in Abuja which supposedly is within the premises of the school chaperoned by Daisy Idahosa. The church executives employed Sam as a caretaker which didn't sit well with Daisy who sees Sam as a spy on her territory belonging to Church Of God Mission. Sam was said to be dating Faith Omoruyi and seen as the instigator behind Faith's decision not to let out child for adoption. He was also accused of defiling the minor, Faith's daughter due to the infection developed by the minor of just 6 year old.

Reports from the doctor shows the child had toilet infection as against penetration allegations by Daisy Idahosa. Faith Omoruyi who had subjected child to both orthodox and traditional cure to cushion the effect of the infection clearly stated that her child was not penetrated but had toilet disease. On this account, Daisy initiated an arrest on Sam and Faith Omoruyi stating that the mother was careless with letting her child get defiled by Sam, an allegation unproven as at the time of this report. Sam has been unjustly held in police custody at the FCID Area 10 SIU unit in Abuja for over 2 months not charged to court or granted bail but detained on Daisy's orders. Concerned church members of Church Of God Mission Abuja who employed Samuel Adams as a caretaker demands his release finding him not culpable of the said crime but rather framed up by the Idahosa sisters as a means/reason to perpetrate the plan of adoption on Faith's daughter.

Faith stated that results from her doctor and subsequent reports carried out on her child on police order in the course of investigation were all done in her absence and results withheld by the Nigerian Police. Says her daughter was again taken away from her by social welfare officers on Daisy's orders and she isn't allowed to have a moment with her child while Sam remains unjustly detained without charge or bail grant.

As at the time of this report both Ruth and Daisy Idahosa as well as the IPO in charge of the case were unreachable.

This report is a counter to a published article on nairaland stating that both mother, Faith Omoruyi and boyfriend Sam are in cohort to cover up defilement allegations perpetrated on daughter Svetta Omoruyi...

NYSCFG Advised To Scrap NYSC: Corps Members On Security Alert, Latest Target By Kidn by onochurch(op): 11:28am On Nov 03, 2023
FG Advised to Scrap NYSC: Corps Members on security Alert, Latest Target by Kidnappers and Bandits.

By Sodiq Bala

FG should take action by suspending the NYSC Program with immediate effect before more lives are lost. After all, the Scheme has served its purpose and is no longer relevant according to the scheme of things.

The NYSC Scheme was established in 1973 for the sole purpose of national development by engaging fresh Nigerian graduates from in and out of Nigeria's Tertiary Educational System. It mobilized graduates to serve their fathers land in various states in a bid to helping young Nigerians accept and understand the cultural belief systems of their tribes thereby fostering National Unity and Integration, and in the same vein helping rural communities in Nigeria have access to volunteer staff to help cushion the deficit in the educational system- why most corps members are posted out of their states of origin, residences, schools; to other states primarily for teaching service.

Looking at the hike in the insecurity in the country, reports of kidnapping of corps members in Sokoto, Zamfara, Kaduna, Cross River, Ekiti, Anambra etc, where ransom is being paid, yet these corps members are never released, have sent serious fear in the hearts of parents and guardians about the safety of their children who are mobilized to serve their nation.

Secondly, 2023 is far different from 1973 that year of its establishment. Technological advancement has made cultural transition more feasible - people do not need to spend physical time with other people to understand them.
In today’s world the acceptance of inter - cultural, inter- religious marriage, trading is no more experiencing the kind of discrimination it used to face due to this great tech advancement

Thirdly, as the number of Nigerian graduates surged, the financial burden on the Federal Government to maintain this scheme has become overbearing, considering we are in a time where the nation is struggling to pay huge debts
Our country is currently bedeviled with myriad of challenges. The funds dedicated to NYSC scheme can be directed on other sectors like Education, Infrastructure, Security, N-Power, Youth Entrepreneurship etc.

Just recently, the NYSC Corps members complained that the N33, 000 paid to them as allowance cannot meet their daily needs because of the high inflation rate which has impacted on the cost of living. They protested for Increment to enable them survive the hard times.

The fallacy that corps members helped in developing and serving as teachers in rural communities will no longer hold water, because many corps members have jettisoned the cause of staying in the village to perform their duties, immediately after the 2 weeks orientation camp, many of the corps members relocate legally or illegally to the city in large numbers.
The management of NYSC struggle to make them stay behind reasons like: insecurity, poor standard of living, etc

To support Schools in the Rural Community to get qualified hands to teach, the government should recruit qualified teachers and mandate all colleges of education, and all students studying education-related courses to go on compulsory teaching practice in government schools.

Adopting these strategic steps will save govt from unnecessary expenditure, save the lives of our precious youths who are being unfortunately endangered under a scheme now very avoidable; especially as the NYSC has really failed to fulfill its national integration purpose - judging by the rate of ethno - religion divisions our society yet suffers.

General Overseer of KPICPC Petitions IGP Over Plans By One Deeper Life Pastor, Another To Terminate His Life.

By Onome Naomi

Several threatening calls, forceful arrest and kidnapping carried out on
the presiding Pastor Of Kingdom Power International Christian Praying Centre Pastor Azuka Ohez by one Mr Emmanuel Iheagwazi, a group Pastor of Deeper Life Bible Church and Mr Chijoke Ezeh over some misconstrued disagreements had been met with a petition dated 15th September, 2023 through the chambers of Barrister Okwudiri Alagbu to the Inspector General of Police for fear of elimination by this two.

The perpetrator Emmanuel Iheagwazi have contending issues with the General Overseer and have countless of times stormed in on members during church service at Kingdom Power International Christian Praying Centre with armed police and thugs to disrupt and cause mayhem on worshippers which has further threatened members attendance of church service for fear of safety.

The contending issue leading to this antecedents started on 21st March 2023 when a group pastor named Emmanuel Iheagwazi of Deeper life Bible church stormed the church premises with a placard in protest to disrupt church service based on unfounded allegations. On another occasion after a just concluded 21days fasting program at KPICPC, Pastor Emmanuel again visited the church with thugs carrying fire arms on the insistence that nobody must leave the premises. Men, women, pregnant women, children were held hostage during the situation, Pastor Emmanuel's reason was that his wife came to the church for prayers against his will.

Prophet Azuka of KPICPC told Naomi Sophy Blog that Pastor Emmanuel and his wife came to visit the church some time in 2022 July/August with their sick mother inlaw who later died. Then around November/December only the wife attended a worship service, upon realization that his wife came to KPICPC, the husband Emmanuel angrily stormed the church with a placard on the streets with the inscription " This Church Must Be Closed Down." The general overseer said he never reached out concerning his disapproval of his wife's attendance of services at KPICPC so as to avoid episodes such as this. During his threatening visits he harassed some women by laying them down on the open floor which had led to loss of members as many feared for their lives.

To create a more dire situation, this said deeper life Pastor during church service on another occasion came with men from State CIID Panti to arrest Pastor Azuka and wife alongsides 5 other members of the church but was granted bail after 4 days of detention when Pastor Emmanuel could not prove the false allegation and twisted narratives melted out on Pastor Azuka which includes an alleged 25million naira fraud, the killing of his mother in law amongst other things he alleged the pastor of. Having changed the narrative from "My wife must not attend your church" to "You defrauded me and killed my mother in law", he was asked for documents or evidence to his claim regarding the Murder case and fraud but couldn't provide any.

Pastor Emmanuel of Deeper Life Bible Church unsatisfied with the outcome of the previous harassment recruited a serving member of KPICPC Mr Chijioke to further harass the Pastor Azuka by taking the said case again to Zone 2 and has constantly been using men of the Zone 2 Command to threaten the peace of the church, his phone was seized and not returned to him till date. Azuka upon arrest at zone 2 was charged to Tinubu magistrate court where the sitting judge thrashed out the case for lack of evidence, ordered his phone be given back( yet unreturned).

Force CIID Abuja also came for an arrest initiated by Pastor Emmanuel of Deeper Life Bible Church who still feel dissatisfied by all his intimidating plans using police men and thugs from places as far as Anambra and Abuja, dragged off Pastor Azuka again forcefully during church service to his house , where his whole house was scattered from police men search, down to Abuja where he was released for lack of substantial evidence for the alleged fraudulent Act and murder case.

Same shameful dragging was initiated during a church service in an act of kidnapping to Anambra state where he found himself at Ihiala Command. He told the commander in charge that the said case is being treated in Abuja but was met with deaf ears, he was charged to court and remanded in prison for 15days for not meeting bail conditions promptly, he was told only the President General and General Secretary of Okija Town Union can stand as surety for him in the whole Anambra State.

After all avenue to distort Pastor Azuka had failed, Pastor Emmanuel of Deeper Life Bible Church made a demand to be refunded all money paid to KPICPC in form of offerings and tithe during the period of church attendance. His recruited ally Chijioke was sent to accomplish the mission....

How multinationals can drive growth and skills transfer in the African data centre market

...Story by
Faith Waithaka, Cloud and Service Provider Segment Sales Lead: Anglophone Africa at Schneider Electric and Kevin Kent, Founder & CEO of Critical Facilities Efficiency Solutions

The outlook for data centre growth on the African continent looks bullish. With a population of almost 1.5 billion people, the African marketplace possesses a significant advantage in terms of market size and potential.

Importantly, whilst the continent might lag behind countries like China and India when it comes to sheer population size, what sets it apart is the average age of its population which is between 18-19 years. It is a young generation that is well equipped to adapt to the digital’s environment continuous change.

This younger generation has a natural affinity for learning and working with technologies such as AI. It’s this demographic advantage that will fast track Africa’s strengthening role in the global data centre marketplace.

Another important differentiator is the continent’s geographical location. Positioned almost centrally on earth, it offers major advantages in terms of connectivity and accessibility. Cities like Mombasa in Kenya are incredibly well located on sub-sea fibre links, offering a gateway to Asia that contributes to the processing of large amounts of data traffic.

Multinationals step into the limelight
Multinationals have a major role to play in harnessing full potential of the African data centre market. Bridging the data centre skills gap is an important step. Increasingly, multinational companies are hiring local engineers, providing valuable expertise and experience whilst exposing them to the global market.

At Schneider Electric for example, teams from regions such as Anglophone and Francophone Africa have continuous access to knowledge and developments from their peers across the world. This is incredibly valuable as it allows these teams to stay on par with their global counterparts.
Importantly, it bridges the talent gap and brings the requisite skills that contribute to the ongoing growth of the African data centre marketplace.

Another important data centre growth enabler is infrastructure development. Multinationals contribute to various aspects of infrastructure development, including grid stability, efficient water management, and the introduction of advanced technologies.

In turn, these investments deliver advancements in cooling systems, electrical equipment, and the promotion of renewable energy sources. Simply put, these developments and ongoing investment by multinationals offer significant benefits to the continent.
When discussing multinationals’ role in the African data centre market, it would be remiss not to mention sustainability. Here, these organisations have a significant part to play in ensuring local data centre markets align with international environmental sustainability principles.

This includes implementing energy efficient infrastructure that utilises renewable energy sources, optimises cooling systems to minimise energy consumption, and effectively manages and tracks water consumption.
Together with environmental sustainability, social and governance also come into play. The data centre industry has the potential to bring significant growth in terms of education access, particularly through digital platforms. This can greatly improve access to education in Africa, providing opportunities for learning and skills development.

If one considers the ongoing investment in Africa and its favourable geographical position, it is highly likely that the continent will become a major player in both data centre expansion and the processing of data. Over the next decade, a substantial portion of global data processing is expected to flow through Africa, cementing its position as a key player in the data centre industry.

Lord Chosen: Ex-Employee Calls Out Pastor Lazarus Mouka Over Refusal To Pay 13yrs Salaries Owed, Ignore Intimidation Threat.

By Naomi Onome

Dike Atuenyi upon report to Zone 2 command Onikan following a petition dated 31st January 2023 to the former officer in charge, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu  for a swift intervention bothering on allegations of threat to life and 13yrs salaries unpaid by Pastor Lazarus Mouka, General Overseer of Lord Chosen, Dike reportedly loss the case owing to injustice and share suppression as well as intimidation Mouka melts out on his victim using law enforcement agencies as tools to actualize his malignity.

Mr Dike Atuenyi's petition was supposedly to address the issue of threat to life and a demand of N100m in compensation for damages incurred on his 4 Matic Mercedes jeep and a Sienna during the cause of employment as well as  salaries unpaid since June 2009  when he assumed the office of the head of transport department in Lord Chosen. There is an employment letter to that effect dated 10th June, 2009.

Mr Dike Atuenyi told Naomisophyblog that Pastor Lazarus Mouka of Lord Chosen had a solid agreement with him on mode of payment as well as amount to be paid monthly. He said Mouka affirmed to pay twice his salary from previous job. As former transport supervisor with the Lagos state government, he received N350,000 as salary monthly while Mouka offered to pay N700,000 with the assurance to comply with the agreed amount proposed by him after months of persuasion to leave former place of work.

During the 7 months of constant follow up on the case to get justice, Pastor Lazarus Mouka never showed up but sends church members and lawyers to represent him with no form of statement taken from them by the OC legal handling the case in Zone 2. This alone shows that the law enforcement agency exonerated him from binding laws in a country where no one is above the law. Discouraged at the outcome of case after 7 months of constant appearance, Dike finds no justice in the system even with all the glaring evidences against Mouka.

Information has it that in subsequent times, Pastor Lazarus Mouka has intimidated and subjected many of his members who threatens to leave the ministry unto a dismiss without a penny after agreement on salary payment and years of hardwork. The victims are further cowed into not pursuing cases as there is no assurance of winning against Mouka.

In Dike's issue, he demanded for salaries owed for 13yrs with no positive feedback from Mouka only threats and intimidation before he took a decision by approaching the law for a rescue through Ambassadors Of Peace And Enlightenment Foundation ( AMPEF) who inturn petitioned zone 2 for a peaceful resolution but was disappointed after some months of fruitlessly attending of meetings with Mouka's representatives at Zone 2.

The OC legal in charge of the case after much deliberations and so called investigation rather accused Dike of giving a misinformation on threat to life statements. Further more, the OC legal ignored the glaring evidences of threat to life issued on Dike as a voice call from Mouka, instead he told Dike before Mouka's lawyer that they could sue him for false information while he advises Dike to proceed to an industrial court if unsatisfied with his investigation, says it's an employer to employee dispute thereby discharging the case.

Dike told the press that he has gone through hell in the course of his fight against Mouka over his hard earned salaries. Said during the period of hardship without salaries to cater for his need he loss two sons in a space of two years as well as all his belongings and livelihood. His family has been thrown out of the apartment for rent owed and he can no longer provide food and shelter due to lack of finances thereby subjected to abject poverty with nothing to fall back on for survival having wasted years serving Mouka without being paid only empty promises of establishment he never got.

It is sad that the common man can no longer get justice in a system seen as a just resort for conflict resolution. Dike hereby wishes to pursue the case further as he still believes he deserves justice for years of manipulation and trepidation on his fundamental human rights as a hard working citizen, only if justice can be served.

Setting the records straight on alleged missing intestine of 12yr old Adebola Akin - ANPMP

By Naomi Onome

ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN PRIVATE MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS (ANPMP), LAGOS STATE CHAPTER in a statement signed by Dr Makinde Akinlemibola, Chairman ANPMP Lagos State and Dr Debo Adebiyi Secretary ANPMP Lagos State to set the records straight on antecedents preceding the death of the deceased 12year old Adebola Akin Bright. See details below:

We have followed with keen interest the trending case of the alleged missing intestine. We are concerned by the misconceptions, half-truths and outright falsehoods being peddled in the media.

We as an association wish to first and foremost express our deep sympathy to the family of now deceased Adebola Akin- Bright.
We have refrained from commenting on this issue in public for obvious reasons, we are however constrained to state some facts just to set the record straight because it is said that, "repetition makes a fact seem more true, regardless of whether it is or not".

We have been able to establish some privileged and incontrovertible facts based on available scientific evidence at our disposal some of which we will share here:

1:- The patient was first operated on at Obitoks Hospital 6th of March 2023 on account of ruptured appendix after he was referred from a medical centre where he was managed for typhoid enteritis.

2.) It was discovered on the operation table that there was abscess which will require a different management approach to drain. (The appendix at that time must not be removed because of the abscess). The patient however got better afterwards.

3.) The patient presented again about 3 months later and a diagnosis of obstructed intestine was made which necessitated operating on the abdomen again to relieve the obstruction.

4.) It is of a fact that the parents were invited into the operating room to see and confirm the point of obstruction and the 4 inches of the small intestine to be removed, out of the about 24 feet of the normal small intestine.

5.) It was also established that the patient was referred to the tertiary centre 8 days post-operation at the request of the parents.

6.) It is a fact that the patient was admitted in LASUTH on the 17th of June.

7.) The patient was however eventually operated upon on the 14th of July 2023 (i.e. 28 days after admission in LASUTH). It is therefore strange how the story of the missing/disappearing intestine gained prominence in the media in a patient who was on admission in a public facility (LASUTH) for almost 28 days.
The question to then ask is, how did the patient survive for 28 days without intestine?

8.) In addition to this, It was also established as confirmed by ultrasound scan and X-ray done at LASUTH on the 19th of June (I.e. 3rd day on admission) that there was the presence of normal intestinal movement.

9.) The Panel constituted by the State HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY in an attempt to investigate this matter was done without including a doctor on the panel. This makes the job of this respected panel difficult.

There was clear evidence that members of the panel were genuinely ignorant of some of the workings of the medical profession which became obvious from some of the questions posed during their sitting.

10.) It is important to note that the honourable members of the panel also demonstrated a clear case of witch-hunt and working to a predetermined answer by attempting to reduce the session to a "Yes" and "No" session for our member from the private hospital while the doctor from the government hospital involved in the management of the deceased was given the latitude to give a detailed report.
The bias was taken to a ridiculous level when the same doctor who operated on the patient at the government hospital was asked to assess and determine the response of the doctor who operated on the patient in the private hospital. A case of being a judge in your case you would say!
Of course, the doctor seeing the absurdity of the request cleverly declined.

11.) A similar panel set up earlier by the Ministry of Health (HEFAMAA) that had a surgeon on seat had confirmed that the X-ray films taken while the patient was on admission at LASUTH also showed the presence of the intestines.

12. Information available to us also confirms that a large mass of black tissue was removed at LASUTH and handed to the patient's mother to take to histopathology laboratory by the team that operated on the patient at LASUTH after they came out of the theatre.

13.) Strangely, the government through their agency, HEFAMAA rushed to seal up the theatre of the private hospital, while the government hospital where the patient was operated on and eventually died was left to continue to operate as if nothing happened.

14. We have to emphasise here that matters of this nature deserve thorough investigation by a well-constituted professional team and the only body empowered by law to investigate such cases is the MDCN (MEDICAL AND DENTAL COUNCIL OF NIGERIA)

15.) The call for the arrest of the private doctor we believe might have been borne out of immediate emotional reaction to the news of the unfortunate death of the deceased. There is no rationale whatsoever to call for the arrest of the doctor for simply doing his job, especially when the government hospital involved and his personnel are left untouched......Read more of this report on:https://www.naomisophyblog.com.ng/2023/09/24/setting-the-records-straight-on-alleged-missing-intestine-of-12yr-old-adebola-akin-anpmp/

PoliticsLagos Tasks Force: The Brigandry Of A Police State. by onochurch(op): 11:30am On Sep 22, 2023
Lagos Tasks Force: The Brigandry Of A Police State.

By Bolaji O. Akinyemi.

A democratic society should rely purely on the rule of law and its processes at achieving peaceful co-existence among its component parties!

Nigeria is of course a country in practice of Constitutional Democracy on paper!

Our reality speaks to the contrary!

Recently, in order to redeem the integrity of the police force, the new IGP Mr Kayode Egbetokun took the decision to withdraw all mobile police-men attached to VIPs!

The police before now, had been so abused that some have become mere bag carriers for our oga madams as we call them!

Others are family errands men, in some cases these attached officers serve as bullies for their pay masters!

Lagos is the worst hit of all the states, where in a bid to fast track enforcements, tasks force are set up!

This however has proven to be counter productive, a country that is under-policed is forced to pull out of the limited number of its officers to serve the special needs of the state on tasks considered special!

Truth be told, most task force operations are easy access to money and officers will do anything to head or be selected to be on the task force!

The existence of tasks force has made accountability of the Force on its men and officers difficult!

Officers attached to Tasks force, in some cases are ready and available tool of harrassment for those who can afford to pay for such illegalities! As they are not easily traceable to a Police station, area and command of the police where such nefarious activities are carried out.

There is the BRT track monitoring task force operating in manners that suggests that they are given a certain amount to deliver on a daily basis. "Offenders" are at the mercy of this contractors. Against the practice in the civilized state of a computerized camera system.

Task force is the only way for Governors to have loyalty and control of police officers who by the infraction of our constitution are compelled to be loyal to the IGP and consequently the President.

Akinwunmi Ambode as Governor of Lagos State, gave attention to the issue of land grabbers and set up a task force to that effect.

One would have thought that its existence will cub the menace of Land grabbing, but a new twist is the brigandry of "Federal Police" disarming "State police" over land disputes!

I use the word Federal and State in context of the drama at 37A Ajisafe Street, Ikeja GRA, where a police team claiming to be acting on the order of the IGP came to disarm officers of Nigerian police on security duty!

A complaint written by FESTUS IGHAGBON & CO. Dated
2nd of August, 2023, a firm of Barristers, Solicitors, Corporate & Property Consultants, haplessly addressed to
The Director,
Department of State Services,
Ikoyi,
31, Kingsway Road. Titled
COMPLAINT AGAINST AL-TRADE AGENCIES LIMITED, MESSRS JULIUS ESHIET, YEMI
BALOGUN, AND SOME OTHERS YET UNKNOWN FOR FORGERY AND INTIMIDATION according to them became necessary as a result of the confusion occasioned by police against police in their unfortunate frustrations!

The compliant reads:

"We refer to the above-mentioned matter as we write as Solicitors to Viagem Property and Investment limited 'our client.' We are aware that our client is the bona fide owner of a landed property situate
and lying at No. 37A Ajisafe Street, Ikeja G.R.A. Lagos State.

The said property was purchased from Western Metal Productions Company Limited under the supervision of Access Bank Plc to which it was hitherto mortgaged as a collateral.
The history of the property and ownership dates back to 1962 when it was first assigned to Nigerian Enamel-ware Company Plc by the defunct Western Region Government.

So, the property was assigned to Nigerian Enamel-ware Company Plc who in turn assigned same to Western Metal Productions Company Limited (Wemco). Wemco eventually assigned it to our client. All the parties mentioned have been in possession and are still in possession till date!

The property is purely under Lagos State Government which duly granted consent to the parties up to our client in the year 2019!

The various documents of title are herein enclosed and marked as documents 1, 2, and 3.

Our client's own is registered as 76/76/2625 and dated July, 2019, being the latest!

Sometimes in the year 2021, the above named persons i.e. Al-trade Agencies Limited, Julius Eshiet, Yemi Balogun and some other unknown persons started to parade the vicinity of the property and made several attempts to invade the property with the aid of some fierce-looking men to take forceful possession of the property.

Their attempts were warded off and this made them resort to Lágos State Task Force under the chairmanship of Shola Jeje Oloye!

The said chairman invited the parties to his office with their relevant documents of title. He dismissed them when he noticed that they are fraudsters. They procured the possession of same. They were warded off. Next, they complained to the Commandant of MOPOL 20, Oduduwa Street, Ikeja, who, having gone through their forged documents, dismissed them. They went back to the site and attempted to abduct the security men thereon but failed. Still in the bid to achieve their nefarious purpose, they complained to Lagos State Task Force on Land Grabbers and later abandoned the case.

Sometimes in July, 2023, our client commissioned some workers to clear the site and demolish the dilapidated buildings thereon, they attempted to abduct the workers but were frustrated by them. They therefore went to lodge false complaints to lkeja Police Division who came to the site and arrested the workers and occupants found thereon. They were subsequently released on bail.

As the investigation was ongoing, they abandoned the case and lodged further false complaint to the A.I.G. Office, Alagbon under the Escort Unit!

The officers came to the site and arrested everybody found thereon numbering about 15 persons. In the midst of the confusion that ensued, some fierce-looking men suspected to be thugs, but claimed to be members of the dreaded O.P.C., invaded the property and attempted to take possession and cause mayhem but were promptly arrested and taken to Ikeja Police Station. They were there and then released on the orders of officers from A.l.G. Alagbon's office.
As at the time of this petition, the suspects and their faceless men are still lurking around the property waiting for the slightest opportunity to cause havoc!

All the relevant documents supporting the allegations are herewith enclosed including a copy of the Lagos State Government permit to demolish the property which is marked document 4!

Since the Federal Government does not have landed property within the vicinity of the property in question, we highly suspect that the C of O registered as No. 17/17/263 Federal Lands Registry dated 16th October, 2021, which they are parading about, is fake and forged and the persons behind it should be unraveled!

The address used for the company is NO. 6, Adele Street, Apapa, Lagos while the phone number of Yemi Balogun is 08033891073. This is because we don't have their fixed address.

We therefore appeal to the good offices of the Director of the DSS to use their offices to track down the suspects and their cohorts before they commit mayhem!

If they have an actionable case, they ought to know where to go rather than using force and intimidation!

Thank yóu.
Yours faithfully"

The petition was signed by
Festus p. lghagbon, Esq.
Fort and on behalf of Festus lghagbon & Co."

The Assistant Director, Department of State Services, was also copied.

The drama of police against police, I hope is not now being upgraded to DSS against Nigerian police by a frustrated Lagosian in his desperation to keep possession of his property! Will you blame him?

When land grabbers opt for a quick fix approach and the civility of referring them to the judiciary process is intercepted by some police officers in hope of gain, then we are heading for a state of anarchy!

A call to the number of Yemi Balogun for his side of the story was picked, I introduced myself but once I mentioned the address of the property, an uncomfortable tone intercepted me and claimed he is not interested in my enquiry and cut the call rudely.

Even at the risk of system failure, it is important that failure is properly defined and apportioned so we know where to lay the blame and which system to up to serve the greater good of Nigeria!

The parties involved in this drama should know that the reasonable thing to do is go to court!

The attention of His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos should be called to this, same for that of the IGP and the Director of Department State Services, Mr Yusuf Magaji Bichi.

Mr Nuhu Ribadu, Special Adviser to the President on National Security, needs to help us notify Mr President that the DSS is being pitched against Nigerian Police at his backyard in Lagos!

He may need to act fast to restore confidence in the Judiciary System and refrain security agencies from meddling in cases where they lack constitutional jurisdiction before the peaceful serenity of GRA, Ikeja is turned into a needless battle ground!

PoliticsN5bn Palliative: Reach Out To Rural Residents, They Are The Real Sufferer Of The by onochurch(op): 9:07pm On Aug 20, 2023
N5bn palliative: Reach out to rural residents, they are the real sufferer of the harsh economy – Comrade Iche to Pres. Tinubu.

By Onome Naomi

Comrade Prince Saviour Iche, the founder of Ambassadors Of Peace & Enlightenment Foundation (AMPEF ) “The Voice of The Voiceless” staged a rally in the suburb part of Lagos on 19th August, 2023 tagged “LET THE POOR BREATH”. The rally was carried out to buttress on the situation befalling the people especially those in the rural part in a demonstration meant to reveal how dire the economy situation is felt by the Nigerian citizens who can barely afford 2 square meals, due to the continuous rising cost of food commodities especially staple foods.

Comrade Iche conveyed this message of a harsh reality to Pres.Tinubu during a rally which involves the residents of Ijegun Ijeododo in complaint of the rise in price of food commodities leading to hunger, starvation as well as poor and unhealthy living conditions.

During the demonstration, a few of the participants spoke extensively on how prices of food commodities progressed from a stable amount to a very high cost making it hard for people to survive. In addition those who have children in school also talked about the high cost of educational materials and school fees due to the inflation rate in the country, the economic situation affecting the low and middle class populace seems like a never ending one hence a need for a redress by the Federal Government.

Iche noted that the N5bn to cushion the effect of inflation will not get to those in the rural areas who truly needs to survive with the help of this palliatives, he urged that Pres. Tinubu critically look into seeing that the rural dwellers benefits from this aid. He demonstrated several episodes of a random visit in a video survey to food stuff and essential commodity stalls to unravel the extensiveness of the critical situation befalling the people of the rural setting as he compares prices of goods in 2022 and what is now in 2023 especially after the change of Government.

It was revealed that prices of food stuff had taken a very drastic turn in hike as food commodities like rice 🍚 now cost N800 for one derica as against the previous price of N250, other staple foods also cost 3ce it’s previous prices even as it is being produced in Nigeria. He mentioned that possible causes of the inflation is due to insecurity issues where farmers are afraid to go to farms to plant or harvest due to the invasion of herdsmen. Another obvious factor is the removal of fuel subsidy without proper plans to save the citizens of it’s adverse effect on the economy.

He implores that the govt should make sure the allocated funds for the palliatives reach the rural areas, the FG should look critically into the hike of food commodities, remove the subsidy or put in some effective measures in place to sustain the citizens...

A follow-up operation at the residence of Chinemelum at House 7, Road 7, Lagra estate, Eti-Osa, Lagos led to the recovery of additional 18 blocks of Loud weighing 18.5kg.

The following day, Saturday 5th August, operatives of the Special Unit went after another syndicate involved in importation, distribution and diversion of ephedrine hydrochloride, a precursor chemical used for the production of methamphetamine, following intelligence that members of the cartel were planning to divert 25 kilograms of the substance.

Two members of the syndicate: Udeh Vincent Ogbonna, 53, and Okonkwo Ifeanyi Uzozie, 50, were arrested at a commercial bus terminal in Jibowu, Yaba, Lagos where they were attempting to send the concealed substance to the South East. A body search conducted on the two suspects led to the recovery of Three Thousand ($3,000) US Dollars found on Udeh Vincent Ogbonna.

In operations across four other states of Ogun, Ondo, Edo and Nasarawa, NDLEA operatives recovered over 13,391.8 kilograms of skunk. No fewer than 1,955kgs of the illicit substance packed in 139 jumbo bags and stored in the warehouse of a wanted notorious drug dealer, Lekan Jimoh (aka Konmo Konmo) in Ado Odo Ota area of Ogun state were recovered in the early hours of Saturday 12th August in collaboration with officers and men of the Nigerian Army.

In Ondo, Ogbu Paul Odey, 30; Daniel Osidi, 34; John Iyage, 41; Friday Simon, 28; and Friday James, 24, were arrested in connection with the seizure and/or destruction of over 10,325.5kgs of cannabis sativa in Iju and Ala forests, in Akure area of the state between Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th August.

While 22-year-old James Aga was arrested during the raid of an uncompleted building on the outskirts of Utese town in Ovia North East LGA of Edo State on Friday 11th August with 10kg skunk, 976kg of the same substance was recovered from the building in addition to the recovery of four motorcycles. In an earlier operation in Utese forest on Tuesday 8th August, at least 46.545kgs of skunk were recovered and 1.581146 hectares of cannabis farms destroyed

while two suspects: Onyelunisue Azuka, 48 and Abraham Ayomide, 30, were arrested.
In Nasarawa state, 49-year-old Umar Abdullahi, was arrested on Friday 11th August with 64.8kgs of cannabis sativa in Doma LGA, while NDLEA operatives of the Directorate of Operations and General Investigation, DOGI, on Wednesday 9th August intercepted a 4.5kg consignment of Loud coming from the United States at a courier firm in Lagos.

CrimeNDLEA Arrests Artistes’ Manager, Businessman Who Sell Drugs At Lekki, Lagos Isla by onochurch(op): 2:47pm On Jul 30, 2023
NDLEA arrests artistes’ manager, businessman who sell drugs at Lekki, Lagos Island clubs

. Intercepts their consignments hidden in coffee tins, duvets at MMIA; uncovers UK, Oman, Dubai-bound drugs in body cream bottles, vehicle engine

By Naomisophyblog

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested a Lekki-based artistes’ manager and his Ikoyi businessman accomplice who specialize in distributing illicit drugs to fun seekers at VIP night clubs and lounges in Lekki and Island axis of Lagos state.

Their arrest followed an intelligence about a shipment of Colorado, a synthetic strong strain of cannabis coming for them from Los Angeles, United States. Oseni Abdulraheem Ayodeji Babatunde (aka Papalampa) was the first to be arrested in his house at No. 3 Ope Daniel Taiwo Street, off Chisco Bus-Stop, Lekki area of Lagos when the consignment arrived on Sunday 23rd July.

During preliminary interview with the suspect, he confessed he started the illicit trade three years ago and has been selling to patrons of clubs and lounges in Lekki and Lagos Island, some of which he identified as Quilox, Silver Fox, DNA and Hot box. Oseni said beside the drug business, he also organizes shows for artistes around Lagos and outside Nigeria.

A total of ten (10) parcels of Colorado weighing 2.50kg concealed inside large tins of coffee and duvets linked to Oseni were intercepted by NDLEA operatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja. During a follow up search of his residence, operatives recovered some quantities of the same substance, a digital weighing scale and other paraphernalia.

An Ikoyi based businessman, Nnadi Kingsley Ikenna also linked to the shipment was away in South Africa when the consignment arrived. While operatives maintained surveillance around his 18 Okotie Eboh Close, Ikoyi residence, they also set their dragnet for him at the airport. He eventually arrived into the waiting arms of NDLEA officers on Thursday 27th July when he returned to the country on a Kenya Airlines flight at the Lagos airport. Kingsley, in his statement accepted ownership of a part of the consignment.

In the same vein, NDLEA operatives attached to the NAHCO export shed of the MMIA intercepted a cargo going to Nairobi, Kenya. A search of the consignment revealed that various quantities of MDMA (Ecstasy) popularly known as ‘Molly’ and Rohypnol were concealed in a bag consisting of foodstuff. An agent, Onydem Chinwe Florence who presented it for export was arrested.

Also, an attempt by another suspect, Igboma Ifeanyi to export quantities of Loud, a variant of Cannabis, Tramadol and Rohypnol all weighing 7.8kg concealed in 66 bottles of skin lightening lotion was thwarted by vigilant operatives who intercepted him while preparing to board an Ethiopian airline flight to Muscat, Oman at the Lagos airport.

It was a rude shock to a notorious drug kingpin who specializes in sponsoring young Nigerians to traffick Class A drugs to Europe especially Italy, when operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, stormed his hotel room in Okota area of Lagos late on Friday 21st July when he was preparing a recruited courier to swallow 93 pellets of cocaine meant for distribution in Italy.

The 48-year-old drug kingpin, Charles Uwagbale, had recruited Uju Dominic, 35, from his base in Italy with a deal to come to Nigeria, ingest 100 pellets of cocaine on Friday 21st July and return to Italy on Saturday 22nd July. True to plan, upon the arrival in Nigeria, the mule was lodged in Golden Heaven Hotel located at Enoma street off Ago-Palace way, Okota, Isolo, Lagos where Uwagbale brought 93 wraps of the Class A drug for him to swallow at about 23:45pm Friday night.

They were in the process when NDLEA operatives who have been on their trail following credible intelligence stormed their hotel room, arrested both and recovered the drug exhibits with a total weight of 1.427 kilograms. Operatives of the Lagos state Command of the Agency who made the arrest and seizure had on Thursday 20th July raided Akala in Mushin area of the state where they recovered 37.5kg cannabis from the home of a fleeing suspect.

Meanwhile, attempts to smuggle 98 cartons containing Five Million One Hundred and Twenty Two Thousand Nine Hundred (5, 122, 900) pills of Tramadol 225mg with an estimated street value of about Three Billion Seven Hundred Million Naira (N3.7billion) only into Nigeria through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, have been thwarted through the robust synergy between men of the Nigeria Customs Service and NDLEA officers at the airport as well as those at the DHL cargo warehouse. Preliminary findings revealed that the consignments were imported from India and Pakistan, while some of the seized consignments had Freetown, Sierra Leone as final destination.

In the same vein, NDLEA operatives in Bauchi state have recovered a total of Six Million Two Hundred and Sixty-Five and Eighty (6,265,080) pills of opioids from three suspects: Emmanuel Onyebuchi, 32; Uche Iyida, 33; and Chinedu Ezeanyim, 32 following their arrest alongside a truck driver and his assistant at Shopping Complex, Maiduguri Bye-Pass, Bauchi town on Wednesday 19th July and the subsequent follow up search of the residence of Iyida on Friday 21st July.

In another raid of the warehouse of a suspect at Elegbeka, Ose LGA, not less than 107 jumbo bags of the same illicit substance weighing 1,132.5kg were recovered on Monday 17th July.
While operatives in Sokoto state arrested a suspect, Charles Nwankwo, 50, with 610kg of cannabis in Tamaje area of Sokoto on Friday 21st July, their counterparts in Yobe also same day nabbed a fleeing suspect Shaibu Musa, 29, in Dawasa while he was offering them a bribe of N500,000 following the seizure of 36kg skunk in his house on Wednesday 19th July.

In Edo state, operatives on Monday 17th July raided the Utese forest Ovia North East LGA where they arrested Victor Asukwo Jack, with 59 bags of processed cannabis sativa weighing 640kg. In Nasarawa, two suspects: Abubakar Suleiman, 30 and Shehu Garba (aka Shagari), 29 were arrested along Keffi - Akwanga road on Tuesday 18th July in a Peugeot J5 vehicle loaded with 1,608.4 kilograms of cannabis sativa. The consignment was loaded in Edo state and meant for distribution in Bauchi state.

While a total of 1,556.1kg of cannabis was recovered from two suspects: Jonathan Nuhu, 54 and Mohammed Abubakar, 18, following their arrest at Wudil area of Kano State on Thursday 20th July, 76kg of same substance was seized from Yakubu Muhammad, 32, on Monday 17th July along Okene/Lokoja highway in a trailer coming from Port Harcourt to Kano. In the same vein, operatives in Ogun state on Wednesday 19th July, recovered 810 parcels of cannabis weighing 604kg from the house of one Adetunji Abiodun.

Fresh bid to smuggle into Nigeria, another consignment of Colorado, a synthetic variant of cannabis, through the Tincan port in Apapa Lagos was again on Friday 21st July frustrated by NDLEA officers who discovered a total of 323 parcels of the illicit substance weighing 161.5kg concealed in one of the four used vehicles in a container marked MEDU 7519460 coming from Montreal, Canada, during a joint examination of the shipment.

At least, three suspects are currently in NDLEA custody over the shipment while a bribe of N20 million converted to $22,900 offered operatives by the importers agents has also been recovered and documented as evidence.

Impressed by the volume of arrests and seizures made by officers and men of MMIA, Lagos, Bauchi, Adamawa, Ondo, Sokoto, Yobe, Edo, Imo, Kano, Kogi, Ogun, Nasarawa and Tincan Commands in the past week, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, Brig. Lagos sit-at-home: Gani Adams strictly warns Simon Ekpa to desist from plans, says south-west not Biafra

By Admin

The Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, Iba Gani Adams has warned Simon Ekpa, factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to stop plans to stage the sit-at-home protest in Lagos State.

Ekpa had said the sit-at-home protest currently being enforced in the South East will be done in Lagos State.

According to him, the sit-at-home is part of actions to demand the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

But in a reaction to Ekpa’s plans, Gani Adams cautioned the Finnish-based ethnic propagandist to desist from “repeating the mistake of the 1970s,” and drop the move.

He maintained that the sit-at-home was uncalled-for and counterproductive.

Adams also warned that the South-West is not part of “the Biafra Republic’ and as such, it was preposterous for “outsiders to dictate or impose their agenda on people of other regions who they cohabit with as residents.’

He said, “I can’t go to the South East now and say I want to decide for the people of that region. So, it is not possible to import the South-East agenda into Yorubaland. It would be counter-productive. We advise him (Ekpa) to drop that idea.

“He should not try that. The South West is not Biafra Republic. Any attempt to impose the Biafra Republic agenda will be resisted. He should desist from repeating the mistake of the 1970s. He should be very, very careful.

CrimeCar Dealer Laments Intimidation Of Igbos By His Lagos Landlord, Urges Lagos Stat by onochurch(op): 2:51am On Jun 28, 2023
Car Dealer Laments Intimidation of Igbos by his Lagos Landlord, Urges Lagos State Govt to Intervene.

By Onome Naomi

Mr Victor Ogechukwu Manager of Gods Time Motors in the early hours of Tuesday June 27th, 2023 had his Landlord Prince Olumuyiwa Jejeloye barge into his business premises located at cele express to accuse his boys of committing a theft in Jejeloye's plaza.

Victor narrated that Mr. Olumuyiwa Jejeloye his supposed landlord had before now showed interest in reselling the landed property already sold by his mother to AU motors who originally owns the land with proper documentation to it. This property owned by AU was then sold to Victor Ogechukwu who now sells cars there in. Upon the landlady's demise, her son Prince Olumuyiwa after inheritance, imposed affinity to sell the said landed property already occupied by the car dealer Victor, thereby forcefully evicting the real owners off their property for selfish gains. This had prompted the action from him to indict the Igbo occupants in criminal matters leaving his own boys out of the whole allegation.

Naomi Sophy Blog upon investigation realised that the landlord Prince Jejeloye called Okota police division swiftly as he points accusing fingers at the supposed caretakers of Gods Time Motors of being perpetrators leaving his own men out of the matter so as to impose the evacuation of the igbos from their business premises while the act committed was done in him " Jejeloye's plaza and not the business place of the Igbo car dealers.

The press men spoke with the phone shop owner Madam Lynda who was rather still grieving over her loss, says she rented the shop two years ago and started selling phones. Furthermore, the theft committed in her business place is a third attempt so far, recounting that the first attempt happened 6 months into her tenancy but the burgers couldn't penetrate due to the protector mounted at the entrance of the shop. On the second attempt, they tried coming in through the door but could not open the padlocks and some barriers. In a third attempt as observed, the burglars succeeded as they came prepared, scaling into the shop through it's roof, pulling off the iron barriers on the ceiling stole phones in varieties leaving behind some of their tools used for burgling.

Lynda Ekwulonu said, phones stolen from the phone shop includes high technology phones ranging from iphones to other phones worth over N3m in estimation. Madam Lynda confirmed that she doesn't have the slightest idea who must have done this as everyone is a suspect. Lynda also revealed that she depended on the Landlord Prince Okumuyiwa Jejeloye to take actions like he said he would during the first attempt but the matter was swept under the carpet as nothing came out of the investigation. She also said the thief must have had a close monitoring as the shop has just been stocked with new phones. Urges the police should do their investigations as she can't tell who had made her a target.

Madam Lynda stated clearly that she is not in support of pointing accusing fingers at some specific people for everyone is a suspect. While journalist were having a chat with Lynda, Prince Olumuyiwa Jejeloye the supposed landlord of the plaza stormed in from nowhere to seriously harass journalist verbally and attack physically thereby intentionally destroying LTV representative's camera in the process of being physical with the journalist. A display of utmost disregard and arrogance to intimidate the journalist from investigating further on the incidence aimed at tribalism.

During investigation, it is evident that the 4 arrested was based on bias and intimidation as he already displayed towards the journalist. From Prince Olumuyiwa's plaza , non of his security men or boys were arrested for questioning, a show of in balanced investigation on the part of the police who should have taken both security personals into custody not Victor Okechukwu's boys alone as requested by Muyiwa's imposition. We trust that the DPO in charge of Okota police division will carry out proper investigation by involving both parties and not one sidedly as seen after the burglary theft incidence as well as bring justice to the culprits

Speaking with Prince Olumuyiwa Jejeloye after the fracas, he spewed more venom insisting that the igbos were the perpetrators without evidence or admitting he also has security personnels in charge of his plaza and they should be brought in for questioning. He arrogantly insisted that the igbos must leave that land and go back to their village, a land sold by his own mother with documentations to it is not enough to stop his greedy intentions, as he further indulge in shielding his boys from any form of interrogation.
