So Una done accept say naa we dey hold Una neck from actualising Biafra😃??
Your favourite Tinubu sponsored Yoruba Nation/Oduduwa Republic agitators as Plan B in case Buhari's Arewa refuse to hand power over to Tinubu after Buhari. Arewa's Mahmood Yakubu stole presidential election on behalf of Tinubu.
No ethnic group in Nigeria, or combination of ethnic groups in Nigeria, without the help of the colonial masters who profit from Nigeria, has the power to stop exit of Biafra from Nigeria.
You want Lagos and its politics to be exclusive for Yoruba. You must fully declare Oduduwa Republic to have that. If not, go back to school to learn the fact that in a country, every citizen has the right to live anywhere in the country as well as shape the politics of the place the citizen lives in.

Ridiculous. Hope Uzodinma who made his native federal constituency a disaster area all through his reign as Imo state governor, is leading peace talks in Lagos. He continues to deceive himself with the fallacy of belonging to the centre in Nigeria, therefore in position to negotiate for the Igbo that reject the Islamic contraption political party, APC.
PEACE NEGOTIATOR, FIRST RETURN PEACE TO YOUR FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

PoloG:
you are right

Africa will never develop until we redefine our borders that was imposed on us by the Europeans and return to our former states before the coming of the whites
But in a country like Nigeria, politicians from all the regions of Nigeria are glued together with sharing proceeds from crude oil of the Niger Delta region. That has blinded the politicians of all sides of Nigeria to not see that nationhood can never come to Nigeria as a result of the centrifugal forces from the diverse ethnic groups acting on Nigeria.
The masses suffer from the inadequacies of one Nigeria of diverse nations with different value systems. Commonly shared value systems for a people in a country is the bedrock for nationhood for the country. Without commonly shared value systems, it's like building a nation on quicksand for diverse ethnic groups in a country.

mariahAngel:
Since fresh tomatoes have become scarce and quite expensive these days, and Sunday rice is a must for most homes, palm nut stew should be the perfect alternative to tomato stew.
It's quite cheap.
One derica measure is sold for about 500N, buy just two measures, and your pot will be filled and running over. cheesy

So, aside palm nuts, what other alternative(s) can you suggest?
Aside tomato stew, what else can you eat with your white rice?

Grow tomatoes in your backyard in southern Nigeria. Tomatoes grow well in rain forest regions, even better than in the arid Sahel region of northern Nigeria.
There is no region in southern Nigeria without enough land and environment to grow food crops to feed its people; and even enough to export to northern Nigeria.

Irrigation of otherwise impossible lands for agriculture in the Sahel arid far northern Nigeria consumed Billions of Naira proceeds from crude oil of the Niger Delta region since the 1970s. Let the north ship the foods down south or let the food decay in the north.

Subsidy politics with suffering of Nigerians depend on Naira value. Naira is almost N1000=£1.
The Naira has had a most disastrous and unprecedented devaluation rate since May 29 2023.
Buhari was afraid of losing election in 2019 and deferred removal of Petroleum subsidy.
He deferred removal of Petroleum subsidy again to June 2023, because of fear of his unpopular APC losing the 2023 election.
APC still lost the presidential election of 2023, except that after voters had cast their votes, INEC officials appointed by the APC saw APC trailing behind, and the INEC officials disabled the password for upload of votes results of the presidential election results on INEC portal.
INEC officials thereafter resorted to the abandoned manual collation of votes and contrived vote figures to announce Tinubu as winner.
They tell the uninitiated that they are allowed by the Constitution to resort to manual collation of votes.
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Presidency In 30 Days: Increased Hardships, Rising Hopes! by onuman: 9:31pm On Jul 01, 2023
If Tinubu is a foresighted man, he should have understood in 2014 that forming a political alliance with Muhamnadu Buhari's CPC, with Buhari as president, would send Nigeria to become the poverty capital of the world and one of the most terrorised and indebted countries on earth; after all, Buhari's governance of Nigeria between 1983 to 1985 was most disastrous. Nigerians queued for sugar and tea then, and were beaten with koboko by soldiers while they queued. Buhari preached in 2001 for expansion of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system to all the states of Nigeria 🇳🇬.
Expecting better Nigeria from a President Tinubu is like expecting Godoth to arrive. Godoth never arrived.
A man who lacks foresight lacks foresight. Tinubu lacks foresight

One of the problems that you guys have is that you don’t travel. Nigeria is a multicultural country. We are not suppose to be together. It is your grandfather nnamdi azikwe that make sure that we are one Nigeria. So enjoy it while it last.
You are like still living in the old era of Azikiwe, while realities of Nigeria since the end of Azikiwe era has shown that Nigeria is an impossible country. So?
You still didn't understand that living in Rigasa but not participating in shaping the Rigasa environment you live in, is a stab on your person.
I am very sorry for you and your level of understanding of the meaning of a nation. A nation is different from a country. A country, especially in Africa, is a contrivance of colonial masters who pushed different nations into one country for the administrative convenience of the colonial masters. While in a nation, wherever you live, you must help to shape the environment of the place for the interest of the larger population that live in the place. It's most unfortunate that the desire to have Lagos State politics be shaped by only the Yoruba has removed the senses from you people, and you no longer understand the meaning of nationhood.

[quote author=naptu2 post=124150647] Nigeria, if Igbo lead the protest, Yoruba will say Igbo want to bring down Yoruba president; if Yoruba lead the protest when northerner is president, northerners will say Yoruba want to bring down northern president.
Northerners protest only when Islam is at stake.

Different value systems between the major ethnic groups in Nigeria is the undermining factor for Nigeria.
No protest succeeds in Nigeria.
Who ordered the massacre during the #Endsars protest remains a mystery.

Distinguish between racism and prejudice. A racist would have nothing to do with others he hates because of their race.
Some European societies merely project racism through raising loud voices in situations like this in pretence of condemning racism.

Oga,right from ajasin vs omoboriowo 1983,nwobodo vs onoh, physical ec8a are the primary results in court.it can never be jettisoned.in law,one result cannot affect the entire election except the margin was close.each polling unit is on its own.if a unit has infractions,it is only for that unit.it does not affect others.you just prove your case unit by unit.it seems you don't know what is substantial compliance.kindly read supreme court judgments on electoral cases abd be properly guided.

Assumptions do not work in court but hard facts.inec vow or directives cannot be a ground for election petition.atiku made this mistake in 2019 and is still making it.forget your bias and support tinubu
Assumptions do not convince court judges. No saner judge will take your assumption that Form EC8As that were manually transferred from polling units to INEC offices nationwide were not tampered with. It's like a goat collectively owned by groups of people was stolen; the people brought the case to the police, the police refuse to dig into the trail of the theft, but ask the people to show proof that the goat was stolen, because the Police is an accomplice to the theft.
Methinks, because some of you want Tinubu to succeed President Buhari, every rational thinking has escaped from you people. You twist daylight occurrences to become like occurrences in the middle of the night.
Bottom line: INEC was not only primitive but most daring with the manner INEC officials stole the presidential election for Tinubu of APC which appointed them.

Oga,a vow or promise means nothing except a formal written agreement legally binding is reached.electiins are governed by electoral law and constitution not inec directives or guidelines.
By virtue of supreme court ruling in osun, irev or anything that has to do with inec server is secondary.the electoral law backed by a court judgment states that inec can choose any means of transmission.in other words, inec can transmit manyslly or electronically.it becomes a violation if they don't transmit at all.inec planned to transmit electronically but coukdnt due to network issues and resorted to manual transmission alongside electronic transmission.
If you are a petitioner, you must prove that inec did not just failed to transmit but also proved that there was massive rigging via non transmission and show how it affected obi's winning.that is the law of substantial noncompliance.court works based on hard facts not assumptions.yiu must prove beyond doubt my guy and obi failed to.dont forget even electronic transmission can be rigged
If you are that judge from the moon who will ask for proof that manully transfered Form EC8As were tampered with, be informed that too many of such proofs were tendered by the petitioners before the current PEPT.
In law, just one Form EC8A discovered tampered with is ENOUGH to make the conduct of the presidential election questionable and therefore get the election results invalidated.
I am on your assumption that a man who knows what self respect and reputation means would ignore the billions of Naira sunk in making the Electoral Act of 2022, ignore the billions of Naira sunk in provision for Electronic transmission of vote results, ignore the vow made by INEC that no other method except electronic transmission of vote results would be used; yet the man judges the election petition by asking for proof that Form EC8As that were manually transferred were tampered with.
