If Yoruba is given chance and opportunity to rule the country, we would transform it like the English single handededly transformed Great Britain (UK). BUT WOULD THEY ALLOW US? I DON'T THINK SO.
Are you from Mars?!!! So Obasanjo is Ibibio?

Which census did Obasanjo not allow to carry tribal data?
The last census. cool

He must invest in the right party now. PDP is a dead horse and is rotting from inside.
Every party in nigeria is dead from the inside. They are all the same. They are all constituted of corrupt politicians who can decamp from APGA to PDP or AC tomorrow.

As long as that structure called PDP is still in place, ndigbo cannot go anywhere with APGA.

More like he was saying that to whip up sentiments to garner votes for himself. You think the northern mallams will allow Soludo to become president after the rumor that they feel that that consolidation he engineerd did not favour the north?Let me tell the only igbo person that stands a chance of becoming president of nigeria through election selection is Ike Nwachukwu or Orji Uzor Kalu.
Ike Nwachukwu can get votes in PDP not APGA.
For Orji Uzor kalu, everybody in nigeria (north, east, west or south) knows that he is a thief

The mistake folks like you keep making is that you underestimate APGA and what it represents. That was the undoing of PDP, LP, AC and PPA. For the first time APGA has earned the respect it deserves.
Actually I agree with you there but I only underestimated Obi's (not APGA's) power of orchestrating a massive rigging of that nature that is also very cleverly done.

Ngige is the victim of all that.

I will only maintain that PDP allowed that to play out because of their own internal reasons that has nothing to do with peace or decency.

CoolSunny:
If PDP is losing South Eastern States, then where's the hope of an Igbo President come 2015 or 2019? PDP at least is the machine that can be used to make that a reality. Chances would have been stronger had Soludo won in Anambra. Who knows he may later have become VP or the President? One thing is needful, seeing the future from the present and acting in accordance to realise your long term goals.
Thank you my brother. Soludo himself has been saying in his campaign that the only way our people can get things out of the FG is through PDP.
Most people kept complaining that PDP is evil as if every other party is not.

Even if ndigbo present a canonized saint as APGA presidential candidate, nobody will vote that person outside the south east. It is just as simple as that.

Conspiracy theorists are at large! grin grin grin

Let me say what most people already know. The Federal government decided to give peace a chance in Anambra state. There was intelligence report before this election. Nigeria was sitting on a keg of explosives and no one in his right senses would play any stoopid games with Anambra people. So, get it!
Except for where you laballed me a conspiracy theorist, you got almost some of the other things you said right grin

Part of what I am saying with respect to the topic is that APGA cannot take over south east. They dont just have the followership to do just that yet.

In addition, PDP and Iwu did not allow Obi to win because of peace. They are not that decent.
PoliticsRe: Obi: Apga Targets Take-over Of S-east States by onyengbu1(m): 5:27pm On Feb 09, 2010
APGA was only ALLOWED to win.

You people should get this right.

How come none of you is asking what really happened.

How come Soludo and Andy Uba conceded defeat just like that?

How come no one is asking why all the red-beret MOPOLs and amoured thanks that were patrolling anambra all disappeared on the day of the election.

Are you guys aware that Obj was in awka from friday till monday?

Things that are much more complicated than just free and fair election took place in Anambra on saturday.

I will rather Ngige drop the court case but it not bad if he didnt.

If Ngige was the one favoured with all voters register brouhaha, I am sure that many people will be crying wolf here.

Ngige might have lost but not fairly. Anbody who is blaming him for going to court is support rigging.
PoliticsRe: Official Anambra State Gubernetoral Election (peter Obi wins) by onyengbu1(m): 9:36am On Feb 07, 2010
If he actually wins, it means that he is the one who coordinated all the fraud anambra people witnessed yesterday.

People were wrongfully accusing Andy Uba.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Is The Projected Winner -Sahara Reporters by onyengbu1(m): 9:35am On Feb 07, 2010
Lets see what happens. . .
Peter Obi himself was complaining that the election is flawed after he voted. Many names were missing in the INEC register.

Many polling stations did not even open at all.

If he is declared winner (which I doubt), let me see if he will accept the outcome then.

However justice is not selective. If Hausas want Beroms to produce Jang for trial, they should also produce all their mass murderers starting from 1960 till date.
I concour!

Starting from all those who killed igbos in 1967 to Murtala Mohammed (karma has taken care of that one) and many others.

@onye ngbu, i live in Onitsha. What the hell are you talking about. Peter Obi fixed ALL the road in GRA, and major roads at Egerton, Trans Nkisi, Inland town etc. Not to talk of numerous towns and villages, Schools, hospitals, and i jog at the stadium at Awka road. Please shut the hell up.
If I say that your post above is a lie then it means im lying myself.

I agree with you, He FIXED those roads you mentioned in Onitsha.
Peter Obi said that he grew up in onitsha and he will like to return onitsha to what it used to be and to achieve this, he FIXED many roads in onitsha.

However, that is just about it. He FIXED roads not construct/rehabilitate them. He just patched them up and thats his own way of returning onitsha to its lost glory.

Truely, those roads are motorable now but what about drainage systems on them?
A governor who goes about FIXING bad roads with a company like pachuks and at the end compares them with the ones constructed by RCC is a cheat because those roads will not last while he goes about telling the world that he constructed 327KM of roads.

When you say stadium, I just laugh. Is it not the one constructed by Paul B?
Next time you go jogging at the 'stadium' why dont you just take a picture and show us here so that people will see what you and peter obi calls stadium. That thing is not close to being called a stadium if you have seen a stadium before. If he really wanted a stadium for Anambra, he should have completed the one started by Ngige in Agu Awka. That one, if you have been there, is what should be called stadium.

But Is till cannot forget how Obi bragged that he can acheive all he wants in four years. That after four years, he'll leave and go take care of his family. The guy's two-faced and that's my problem with him.
. . . . he also said he will enlist his own children in anambra schools.

where are they now?
PoliticsRe: Obi Wins Nigeria’s Most Trustworthy Gov Award by onyengbu1(m): 3:11pm On Feb 01, 2010
Only a fool would call Peter Obi a non performing Governor. Even Ngige himself has agreed that Obi has construted more roads than his Government and pls people tell me the difference btw 3 and 4 years? We in Anambra, know whom we are going to vote for, so enuff of these funny claims and counter claims.
When and where did Ngige agree that Obi constructed more roads than him. Just let us see it.

For your information, what Peter Obi Lists as roads constructed will not pass rehabilitation test let alone construction.
All you Peter Obi supporters, can you tell us why Peter Obi expelled RCC (which Ngige used) and started using hoax contractors like Pachuks (his friend) and Paul B for constructions.
How can any one of you compare a road constructed by RCC and that constructed by Pachuks (who has not obviously done any other construction outside anambra). Pachuks and peter Obi is killing development in anambra with the kind of roads they are constructing for anambra. none lasts more than 6 months before you start seeing potholes.

If Peter Obi wants to measure the length of his roads with that of Ngige, he should first tell us why he sent RCC parking.

This is just on roads alone. . . . . Peter Obi is no saint, stop beatifying him.

Well, as for me, i wish i cud see d future but since i cant, i will make ma candid opinion. yea Obi might b slow but i think he has done credibly well. Ngige did some gud job although most of them wer not of high quality but at least he did something. Its possible he did them so as to win d hearts of the ppl.His party is a gud party too
As for Soludo, yes he might have all d qualification and all sorts but ma question remains this.Is he a politician? Will he b pushed arround just like Mbadinuju was?Can he stand the test of time and the People decieving People party? can break a way like Ngige had to do at a time or he will be loyal like mbadinuju?Send our funds to Abuja, and watch dem share it all in d name of PDP contribution? Dats ma only fear for a PDP governor. As for me , i have no personal issue with the gentle man.

May the best win,
Let me first state that the bolded is a huge lie. Infact its just the opposite.

Quality of executed projects is what differentiates Ngige's projects from Obi's.

Ask yourself why Peter Obis sent RCC parking and invited his friend Pachuks and other faceless contractors to be working for him.
PoliticsRe: Obi Wins Nigeria’s Most Trustworthy Gov Award by onyengbu1(m): 6:51am On Feb 01, 2010
Peter obi has ruled for 4 years and he is still desparately paying people to endorse him.
Ngige was there for just three years but people are campaigning for him.
