do you know Enyeama scored 9 goals for his club as well as bagging a few assists?
I was going to point out that one too.

Now tell me, how many goalkeepers has ever done that?

At the nations cup he saved one penalty and scored one in one game and the commentators couldnt stop shouting.

Thanks Dual Core.

I tried the one you suggested initially and it was ok until I ran into some page linking problems which I didnt try to tackle.

I will go back to it again even though it will mean a lot of work.

We are talking about re-linking close to 30 files here.

Thank you though.

My page layout looks like this:

Page Header (included file)

Main page

footer (included file)

Since the header page comes before the main page, how do I get the to pull the page title from the contents from my Main page as listed above.

Putting the title on the main page doesnt work and I can put it on the header since other pages also use it.

What am I missing here.

There is a difference between a programmer and an administrator. Seun can not write computer program.

Computers have what we call languages,  This are what the computer system understand to perform a function.
We have high level languages. and low level langugues. We also have what is call machines code. You may not have had of things like 8088 etc. This are code I did in school. Basic was the first low level languages. You have c , c+ etc and you can create you own too.

What nairaland uses is called PHP. Seun osewa does not know how to write PHP code. Some of this people you claim are computer expect are not. they just download software etc. If seun have gone to school. he would have been able to rewrite the PHP program to please himself.
Written computer code is very easy.
I write computer code. But the funny thing I discovered about them. is that they are like your normal nigeria languages. just like you switch nigeria languages. easy from yorubas to english. Programmers can also switch easy from different langugues.

It is very interesting. You talk of inheritance, function etc in programming.  I can write computer programs in more than 12 languages.
Musiwa, How u come know say Seun no be programmer. I think u say he be igbo guy being paid by the government to spy on people.

@Kobojunkie,

It is obvious that this new igbo thread is an off shoot of another one where you and I argued extensively on this issue of under development in igbo land.

It will be waste of time to start all over again but I need to point out some issues.

. it is very true that igboland is lacking so much in development.

. it is also true that igboland is not lagging behind in development compared with every other regions of nigeria.

. the poster raised an issue which is not about igboland alone because  he specifically compared igboland with some other parts of the country.

Why are you quick to point out that the issue at hand is about igboland alone, even though it is obvious that the poster is comparing igboland and other regions.

. why then will you wave it aside when someone like Mekus (or me) say that : no, igboland is doing badly but better than most of other nigerian regions.

. lastly why is  it not tribalism to create posts about igboland underdevelopment but becomes tribalism when one says: "no igboland is doing better".

You might not agree with everything I listed above but I specifically directed these questions at you because for someone with the level of knowledge and exposure to igboland and igbo culture, I expect you not to hold ALL the views that some non igbo people here on NL that is ignorant of igbo affairs.

Ok . . .  so, your FEEL some of the governors you mentioned did well? Do you have a list or something we can work with here, I mean to buttress these feelings of yours in some way? So wait, you are saying that my allegation is FALSE and basing it, not on fact, but on assumptions that someone from Enugu might FEEL that his/her governor has done better than the examples I supposedly gave? You also feel I generalized when I stated that Ibo governors have for a long time ignored the needs of the people?
So, where exactly do you have me stating that Lagos and RIVERS are the STANDARDS of GOOD PERFORMANCE, even in Nigeria?
1. First give me the list of what your own examples did, and then I can see if I have anything to tell you.

2. You generalized  and implied that lagos and rivers are standards of good performance when you said:
Can we at least stop pretending the reason for the major decay is because Ibo land Governors have for a long time ignored the needs of their own people? Is it the federal government developing Lagos state today? Is it the federal Government developing River's state today? THINK! THINK!! THINK!!!

You have repeatedly said here that igbo governors (not some) have ignored the needs of their own.
Then I went ahead to point you to the direction of some igbo governors that did well since you have used some governors that we know as not ignoring the needs of their own.

Your allegation became false when you used rivers and lagos as a yard stick because someone in Enugu can claim that his/her governor has done better than your examples.

Your generalization is unfair to them if the standard you judge good performance is that of lagos and rivers.

Someone else might even say that no governor in naija has performed. If you had said that, we might not have been in this long talk.

Dude, sorry YOU RESPONDED TO A THREAD THAT was clear on the SUBJECT being discussed. Whether you towed his line or not is not the problem here. The problem is YOU CHOSE to FIXATE on the mentioning of Lagos, Ignoring the reference to Rivers State and FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. I tried OVER AND OVER to bring you back to the real issue, but you refused and now blame me for not wanting to continue along the path you wanted to drag this, with you?
But I Stood by, and still stand by my CLAIM !
RIVERS STATE IS AN EASTERN STATE . . . if you do not like that, YOUR BUSINESS. It has been in the Eastern Belt since 1960 and continues to remain exactly where it has been. If you feel it is CONTRADICTION, the PROVIDE PROOF to show it has been MOVED !
I do accept my blunders . . . read through the thread to find the many places I have even accepted typo errors, and others,  but STOP fighting this by making baseless ACCUSATIONS. I will not simply recant my words simply because some egomaniac somewhere does not like it.  You will do your argument, whatever it is, better by actually arguing with FACTS rather than the Childish MOUTH POWER you have been using all this while.  It is OLD and ridiculous at this point.
My response:
1. You made a false claim about igbo governors and tried justifying it with lagos and rivers. I used only lagos as an example and challeged you to prove that other western and northern states (even though you have conveniently avoided to mention that I cited north too) are doing better.
You suddenly turned it to west and east argument.

2. Like I said before rivers has not been an eastern state by current  nigeria's definition of east for a long time. I dont have to like or hate it or prove to you it has been moved. it just no longer called an eastern state, you know what it is now. If you dont ask and I will tell you.  It is also your bizness to define it how you like.

3. No, no, no, you have a reputation here on NL, you never accept your blunders.  You always dance around them. Typo is not a bluder, ok.

If you can provide substantial information to refute  my arguments, go right ahead and do just that! But continuing to offer ATTACKS and ACCUSATIONS as counter argument does not work.
I did not cite Lagos as a WESTERN STATE , I cited Lagos as a State in the SAME COUNTRY, NIGERIA,  to refute the claim that STATE GOVERNMENTS CANNOT DO WORK AND ARE CRIPPLED BY the Federal Government. In the same statement that I mentioned Lagos state, I also mentioned RIVERS STATE WHICH HAPPENS TO BE AN EASTERN STATE. But NO NO NO, YOUR EGO seemed already bruised by your merely seeing Lagos on the list, or am I wrong?

@Onye_ngbu, PLEASE READ !!  IF YOU HAD EVEN BORTHERED TO FOLLOW THE DEBATE YOU WOULD HAVE FIGURED OUT YOUR ERROR RIGHT FROM THE START . . .

I know I mentioned LAGOS AND RIVERS STATE but YOU just had to make it a WESTERN VS EASTERN issue so you can find a way to get off point, didn't you?
Back to the main topic, ol boy!!!
Now before I made my first post on that subject I CLEARLY stated that I am not towing udezue's line of argument which is about east lacking in development due to whatever.

Then I went ahead to tell you that your PREVIOUS accusation that igbo governors are lacking is not true.

Dont claim here that you cited Rivers as an eastern state because it is not, at least not in a very very long time. For one it is not eastern state and even if for any reason you might come up with you believe it is, why then did you specifically mention igbo governors. Another contradiction?!

About your wanting to mention ANOTHER WESTERN STATE, I challenged YOU because it is IDIOTIC to try to make this a WESTERN STATE VS EASTERN STATES debate when this debate is on the state of EASTERN STATES and not on COMPARING WESTERN STATES AND EASTERN STATES when it comes to development. That you felt to RUSH TO THAT made me wonder if you even saw the problem here.
It is over ambitious of you to argue and make ridiculous allegations and expect people not to counter your argument with a scenario that best matches your allegations.

How can you come up with the allegation that igbo governors are not performing and cited lagos (a western state) as doing better and then at the same time expect everybody to shut up and listen to your unfounded allegations.

Remember you did that FIRST! I didnt.

Was lagos state subject of the discussion when you cited it? How then can you cite lagos and expect no one else not to do same. Or accuse them of debating who-is-better whereas you started it.

I cant imagine how someone who alleged that:

and this:

So, what exactly are you trying to say then? That South Eastern Governors you have above are doing a great job? If yes, then why are we even discussing this since it all started with someone claiming there exists a LACK OF DEVELOPMENT IN THE SOUTH EASTERN BORDER.
and also this:

Don’t bother telling me this . . . I happen to know enough about the eastern governors to know that you are just trying to create FLUFF arguments for the governors. To try to lie to us here is not only a slap in the face of average ibos living the miserable conditions in the East today but also Ibos around the world.

I don’t understand your reasoning for this . . . I happen to agree with those who believe that the east is not as developed as it ought to be. Orji spent years in Abia and the road to Uzuakoli and many parts of umuahia is still in UNBELIEVABLE state. Aba is an eyesore compared to where it was only 12 years ago and you are here for what? To tell us that things are better? Owerri, even with the better state of roads, is still far from where it ought to be considering the amount the state gets and the fact that state is yet to serious work on developing agriculture which happens to be what the state used to be into. Go tell your story somewhere else please.
will suddenly wonder when I challenged her to tell me which other western state that can be compared to the eastern one apart from Lagos. What she suddenly did was to say this:

What has that to do with this? Are you turning this into some sort of better than you CRAPPY debate? Do you realize how this statement is way off point?

As a matter of fact, you hardly find an igbo student in the top 3. And this goes for waec results to.  Though i have not checked this year's result yet.

And the reason why una don pass yoruba for the number of applicant for jamb na because ya parents get money to send una to school whereas not so many yoruba parents can afford to send their children to higher institution because una get money pass yoruba ppl. If you dont actually hate igbos like u claim, why will you repeatedly call 'ibos' names. You have never said some 'ibos' in your posts, all you say is 'ibos'.

That doesnt sound like what a non hater will be saying.

Calling them to order will not be necessary. Because they wont stop.

but they can if people like you stop attacking them, they will surely run out of things to say about yoruba people one day if they are ignored. But not when you 'counter them'.
