When I went through this man's profile and saw all his Engineering/Technical background, I then asked myself; Why didn't he just give MC Oluomo the acting CBN governor role? Still the same APC continuation with a twist of tribal play. |
Aaaaah... Those days, Saturdays used to be so magical. If you know how I loved those wrestlers that used to charge a second wind like Tatanka, Hulk Hogan & Ultimate warrior. Mheeeen. Iron Sheikh could cheat back then, especially when there was a match up with Hulk Hogan. Rip Legend. You were one of those who made my childhood magical. |
Morphinne:I appreciate the fact you are replying in sequence, it means you are picking up new information. Now on the Kwankwaso issue. Kano was a big deal because it had the numbers (it had the highest number of registered voters up north) Kwankwaso took it all. Jigawa and Katsina were also some numbers Kwankwaso got. How did that affect Atiku... 1. An extra 25% in Kano was lost 2. Additions from Jigawa & Katsina to add up his majority vote which would have seen him go past 8Million As for the statistics of Demographics in the west, I attached the reference of the survey on my post. They did statistical analysis so you could take that up with them if you are not satisfied. Pray for Nigeria as you fast. Enjoy |
Morphinne:I read your comment and I am still trying to pickout your logic or reason. However I understand your bias. So because of that allow me to humbly give a short analysis of Demographics & in Nigeria. I am very sure you attended social studies classes in Nigeria so I will keep it very basic... unless you were born post millennium. Religion & Tribe are very significant in Nigerian Demographics and it has its impact on politics. Breakdown of Religion & Major Tribe in specifically the 3 major Geopolitical zones in Nigeria. North: Major Religion: Islam Major Tribe: Hausa/Fulani East: Major Religion: Christianity Major Tribe: Igbo West: Major Religion: Christianity Major Tribe: Yoruba With this basic slicer let's analyse why Peter Obi got votes in the regions you offered sarcastic objections against his popularity. When it came to the east, Peter Obi checked all boxes when it came to Religion and Tribe, so it was a no brainer. When it came to the west, Peter Obi did not check the box on Tribe, however he checked the box on a very sensitive area that B.A.T didn't consider to check... yes! Religion, he appealed to the religious majority of the west that B.A.T couldn't and the same thing happened in the North howbeit it was a minority but it was still significant. Now based on this analysis I hope I have cleared your doubts? Have a peaceful day filled with intellectual grace & free of tribal aggression. |
Alaigbomaster:Wait oh... what do you mean by rig? Do you in anyway think that Anambra people would leave their houses, defying "sit at home threats" that day to vote for Atiku? Which local government in Anambra state do you think Atiku would have even fetched 100 votes especially when Obi was in the mix? Is it Nnewi, or Ihialla or Where? Haha bros you are making me laugh An Election is simply a test of popularity & two things remain popular in Anambra as far as politics remains concerned; 1-APGA 2- Peter Obi Like imagine Messi expecting votes in Ronaldo's home town. |
Yes oooo... We are waiting for MC Oluomo's appointment. Either minister of Transport or Labour |
I saw APC and laughed... Ojoro Pro max ![]() |
Sirheny007:Truly spoken, Setting the pace for some of us who have the cash to buy our way into power & continue in the festival of criminality. At the end of the day na the people wey get money go still enjoy, because na the season of Ojoro pro max be this. For those of the team "it is well" I hate to break it to you guys, but it can never be well... not in these circumstances. |
Na now day break for you... Just a club of corruption and criminality |
Confirmedzombie:Please sir, I know the matter is in court, however can you please define rigging in your own words? When you are done defining rigging, can you please explain how a party like Labour Party(without any structure) can rig an election in a state that is a PDP majority for example... Is it not a funny thing to say Labour Party of yesterday rigged election in 12 states suddenly? Don't you think it's a bit embarrassing to say Labour Party rigged elections in 12 states including the FCT & Lagos that are overun with APC & PDP structures? Is Labour Party that strong ![]() |
slivertongue:Are you sure it was by mistake? |
![]() |
Kyase:Records were made to be broken and at a point in time, history is always made... |
EduCASHtion:The first reasonable post I have seen on this thread. May goodness never be far from you even in these difficult times. After breaking it completely, he is candidly calling for help. |
Tchai APC... Naija go hear am |
Karleb:My Oga, The truth is, Naija is in trouble. ![]() |
MisterBanny:Chairman, Even if I wanted to support B.A.T his singlular action of immediately announcing subsidy removal without even double thinking the impacts of that statement, has fully convinced me that Baba is not in touch with Economic realities and to be honest I am not surprised because he had already shown all those signs that he does not think on his feet. Even if Buhari removed it already, is that something you would publicly announce knowing fully well you have not even put a cabinet or think-tank down to tackle the issue? Especially since there was a huge deficit (that he had already seen). Because currently addressing this issue is like trying to mend broken glass. B.A.T just showed he is either; 1-dull 2-wicked Or 3- a careless person The truth of the matter is; it is very very clear Nigerians are in for a long rough ride with this APC administration. And I suggest B.A.T needs to hire not one but three spokespersons who are of the mold of Lai Mohammed working round the clock to cover up anytime he gaffes or renders careless statements like this, because trust me, more gaffes are coming. |
solmusdesigns:You have a very strong point. However take note, Nigeria took loans to service (in Peter Obi's words) consumption. I am really not against taking loans as long as it's not servicing a consumption invoice such as fuel Subsidy. If loans are taken to service profit generation or productivity such as, 1- Minimum wage (labour is profit generating) 2- Industries 3- Agriculture 4- Transportation Then I am cool with such loans. However addressing your point specifically, B.A.T should have not made any utterance about subsidy, until he had composed a complete team to study the already cracked budget & figure out strategic ways which holes could have been plugged. But he bottled things up at the inauguration. |
solmusdesigns:Let me humbly teach you the Economics of National budgeting. Assuming FG's budget expenditure was 10Naira with Subsidy & subsidy got removed, it means 10Naira - Subsidy = 4Naira because Subsidy was about 60% of the budget. Now although budget is reduced to 4 Naira there is now a financial vacuum(6Naira) that directly impacts common wealth, so what do you do? You inject funds to stabilise the vacuum that impacts common wealth, however it must be sustainable, so you don't end up creating another unsustainable expenditure like Subsidy. So to knock out the impact of market forces on the economy created by removing the fuel Subsidy, you do price regulations on what you can control as the FG, for example 1- The minimum wage 2- Taxes 3- Interest rates 4- Industrial subsidies 5- Agricultural subsidies 6- Transportation Subsidies So you decide to cover the 6Naira vacuum with 1naira each for the 6 listed areas on the budget. Then that is a proper balance. However Buhari/B.A.T pulled out the fuel Subsidy but left everything the same way on the budget ignoring the vacuum... Chairman you sef look am, the thing balance? |
Something is seriously wrong with this man ![]() |
I said this thing a long time ago, Nigeria owes Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala a huge apology. The genius of that woman was completely taken for granted. |
seanfer:Chairman please stop this, please I beg you to use common sense in this situation. Are you not witnessing how general costs have skyrocketed? Is it still normal to operate a national budget of 33K minimum wage? How can subsidy be removed from the national budget but things like the minimum wage and other critical sectors still maintain the same budget... Is that how national Economics works? Please allow NLC to do their job, the heat is affecting everyone |
As long as certain people are still being recycled in the Government, completely eradicating subsidy related corruption will not be achieved. 1. Crude theft 2. Power sector crisis 3. Crippled industries 4. Porous Borders 5. Confused Forex trading 6. Disabled Import/Export sector The above are all directly related to or are part of subsidy corruption. |
nony43:Chairman, APC is making a continuation of their wicked & corrupt project... it was no trap. |
orisa37:You mean the same APC government? Can you please explain what is different about APC all of a sudden? |
aktolly54:Bro, The victims(the people he scammed) reported to EFCC that he scammed them of 200$ only, and he indeed confessed to scamming them 200$. So it was a 200$ crime. |
All Nigerians owe apologies specifically to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. It's now I have seen what she really did for Nigeria... She is truly an Economic Genius. Madamme N.O.I may posterity ever remain kind to you. |
So what you are basically saying is B.A.T gaffed ... Nigeria prepare for more gaffes, because there's a lot more where that came from. |
solmusdesigns:Thank you for that very good point sir. Now with the risk that has risen up to incredible levels due to debt, a stiff forex market and the insecure Naira, who will invest without slicing a pound of flesh? Because at the moment almost all industries in Nigeria are crippled. also understand that dealing with China, is like dealing with Shylock. If one is still trying to rejuvenate his industrial sectors, the last thing he would want, is to strike investment deals with China. It would make sense if bilateral trade treaties are formed with countries of similar Economic brawn, then from there it could kickstart larger trade agreements with other global powers. For example there is BRICS, they are all similar Economically, why can't Nigeria Foster trade partnerships with countries of similar Economic potential like Mexico, Indonesia & Turkey. In that way massive debts can be eased by trade relations without damaging the economy. For now debt is just a one way street. |
solmusdesigns:I am glad you put this out... Please allow me to explain as simply as possible why to Nigeria, debt is "a bad thing" especially now. If Nigeria had fully functional industries(a diversified economy)that brought in tangible export profit regularly, then debt becomes "a good thing" why? Because "the borrowers"(which could be investors) will see less risk associated with borrowing you, and they will always be willing to borrow you. That ease in which one can access external funds now determines the fluidity of the economy. But in the case where there is no industry with viable export profit other than oil(which is not a stable commodity), debt becomes a very bad thing, because borrowers will now see the risk involved with borrowing money to you. Therefore that difficulty in accessing external funds now contributes to the stiffening of the Economy, which results to inflation amongst others. So for now in the absence of a diversified Economy, debt is a very bad thing. Because no matter how common wealth is created internally, external market forces will create inflation. |
