This just shows negligence on the part of the Airlines and maintenance crew. Tires blowing out on an aircraft simply means they were not checked, & if they were not checked why & how on Earth did the pilot take off?? Aircraft tires need to be checked every 24hrs, especially before and after flights, because Aircraft tire pressure is not a big deal, it's a very very big deal. Aeroplane no be Keke tori olorun... So if an Aircraft has its tires blown like that, its either of two things which could have been checked before the flight; 1- Inadequate tire pressure 2- End of tire lifetime If the aviation sector works normally, tire incidents should not even occur because it is the most basic check by ground before every flight clearance, my people where are common aviationstandards?? If an investigation is conducted now, I can most assure you that those tires were probably not checked for ages, despite regular flights. This is an example of how ineptitude can potentially kill people. |
So I will be breaking my experience into two categories; 1- International flight Experiences 2- Local Flight Experiences For; -1 International flight Experiences, my best by a long shot in terms of value for money is Turkish Airlines, the luggage weight allowance, economy comfort etc is very commendable. So as a classic plus card holder, I get to use the lounge if I have a layover at Istanbul. However for Luxury, Etihad was on a league of its own... Just that Etihad flights are not as cheap as Turkish Airlines. Now for -2 Local Flight Experiences, Spirit Airlines in the United States is the worst airline I have ever patronized... like I can't even start explaining how Spirit Airlines sucks on various levels. I flew from California to Texas on Spirit Airlines mhan! What a flight ... firstly the chairs were fixed, and they couldn’t recline, so I was literally sitting in an "L" form, when I asked the hostess, I was told to pay and upgrade, which didn't make any sense. Secondly the connecting flight at Phoenix-AZ was late, so they combined people who missed their flight to my flight, we were literally packed like Sardines in a tin, the plane was hot! It was in Spirit Airlines I knew people could fan themselves in an airplane. Thirdly because the flight was full, there was no space in the overhead for my carryon, I was also asked to pay extra ... na there I change am for that Cardi B hostess mtcheew... bottom line Spirit Airlines happens to be my worst airline experience, especially their rude customer service |
IyaebeTheGreat:Bro, I am not making a recommendation of the best correction methodology, rather, I am pointing out a difference in Era's. These days things have changed totally. |
IyaebeTheGreat:That's how I know you were born in the new millennium. Those born in the 80's and 90's even in foreign countries will differ from your opinion. I grew up watching "the gods must be crazy" during military administration & I tell you for sure, I was whooped adequately. The rod was not spared. |
Egypt naturally have a beef towards Nigerians. If not, can someone explain the rationale behind turning 500 people back into a raging war Zone because 2 out of them were unruly... especially since the immigration were given national instructions on allowing fleeing people pass... so Egyptian immigration officials can override presidential instructions that easily? This is why I lack empathy about the impact of Ethiopia's dam project to Egypt's Nile river, because these Egypt folk right from time are very impulsive in nature, and lack patience for critical reasoning. |
Rikze:Bro, If you fly Senegal airlines... you will change your mind. Like their air hostesses all look like New york runway models, especially those ones with shiny ebony dark skin. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Oga to be frank, I mean let's be very honest here, there is nothing at stake so feel free... Apart from B.A.T being emphatically vocal about "Emi lokan" during the whole presidential campaign, what national strategy was he vocal about if he became president... considering the fact he avoided all debates and national interviews. Please sir, I ask you respectfully to state only 3 strategic national plans you remember "him" specifically talking about. |
There's something your dad knows that you don't... |
ThierryJay:Brother that's the point... Man city needed a striker who has exceptional positioning and is Phenomenal at "Tap-in finishing", so that they can have more goals per game. Their midfield already does all the artistry. Infact any striker who is good at "tap ins" will excel in this current Man city side, because you can bet either a KDB, Foden, Mahrez, Grealish, Bernado, or Gundogan pass will find you for a tap in. My only vex with Pep is why he let Cancelo go so easily, because that is one of the most versatile players in this era of football. |
Reminds me of a certain person who's name sounds like Iya Koobou, assuring the nation of using technology during elections... Did it work? Please... Progress never works in Nigeria. The country is doomed to tribalism and corruption. Next... |
Justice knows no tribe... If he is found guilty of the crime, then let him serve. If it was in Nigeria, people of his calibre are above Justice & Nigerians have all been formatted to understand that "Big men" are above the law. |
UK no be like INEC... The Ekweremadu's will surely be dealt with accordingly. |
Thekaghan:Brother, if you read my post properly, you'd have noticed I did not quote any names... |
dealhunter: ![]() Na waah o... una sabi talk anyhow |
Thekaghan:Bro I sarcastically agree with you... Nigeria happens to be a lawless country where absolutely nothing can be done right. We are actually satisfied with doing things the crooked way in Nigeria, and hence we have gladly accepted the fate of belonging to a crooked society. We understand that in Nigeria 1+1= 52 and if anyone does not accept the results he can go and hug a transformer. My brother, we have accepted the fact that we are a tribal lot and nothing on Earth can fix the divide that tribalism has caused in Nigeria- We are very comfortable being in our tribalistic element. We are proud of the fact that we will collectively hand over a dysfunctional society to our children. Bribery, Corruption, Diabolic tendencies and other vices are the passions we share. (except for football and religion every once in a while.) We have settled with the fact that things will never work in Nigeria, because we are stuck with business as usual. Societal malpractices are our pride and heritage. Is it NEPA/PHCN? is the Police? The medical system? social infrastructure? is it our Leaders? what have you? my brother we are stuck for life in a setup that can be defined as a national trap. I can guarantee, that you are a graduate of a higher institution but your line of work does not correspond with what you studied... if you even have a job. So much for the national dream, however every Nigerian is in the same boat.(except for the elite, who always struggle to remain in power... by all means) It's a normal thing to become a prayer warrior for the basic ammenities of a functional society... I challenge you not to Japa in a few years. We have become politically ignorant once again due to the vulnerability of the average Nigerians tribalistic inadequacies, that have been preyed upon by selfish politicians. Well it's normal. Brother, I can go on and on but... I can assure you, Nothing will change. Because this is Nigeria and we love it that way. ![]() P.S the new way of making it big in Naija, is by stealing another mans Gbola.... contact the nearest baba for more details. ![]() |
Kahbahsah:To be on the safe side, I advice you to get a transit visa. Disclaimer: I am not a travel agent |
Benjosh123:Because you need to leave the US to effect certain changes... Mexico is the closest country that you can visit with a valid US visa. |
Benjosh123:If you can, apply to study while on F2 and change it in the US or (the harder one)... apply for a job that can potentially sponsor your H1 then go to Mexico and apply to change. If you are in the US, network with immigrant communities for more insights. If you are still in Nigeria contemplating, then do not apply for an F2 if you know you will not maintain your F2 status. |
Nazgul:He was found... |
LordAdam16:You have a solid point. However I also know many Nigerian males who are like Demi-gods in the dating ecosystem. I remember once back in Germany a Nigerian guy, who was soooo slick with women, that this guy was literally the hottest thing that landed in Leipzig that year, he was a student at the time and how he mastered German to the point where women were swooning over him, beat even the locals. There was a season of mixed kids from different German women that time from "you know who". For those who went to Leipzig University of applied sciences in 2016, I guess you would know who I am referring to, because he was given permanent residency in Germany due to the sheer number of kids he had from different women. In Poland and Ukraine I also know a lot of Nigerians who have been in the business of pant shifting and handling if not for the war that dispersed some of them in Ukraine. I knew a Gym trainer in Japan who was Nigerian, first of all in Japan people are not that big, infact I tower above almost 80% of people in Japan, so imagine how this guy compares in Japan who is incredibly muscular and stands at a monstrous 6"6 ... like anytime he has shifts in the Gym, I noticed how females are at incredible numbers wanting him to train them and taking candid pictures of him, all I can say is this guy is literally Hercules in Japan- He always told me he knew how celebrities felt like when it comes to dating. And lemme also add this, I know a very, very dark skinned guy from Senegal in the US, so apparently American women love his accent (he has a kinda french and wolof twang on his English) but he samples women simply because they find the way he talks attractive. If you know how this guy uses it to his advantage, he gets women even a rich white guy would not even attempt just because he knows he has some rare foreign attributes. So na so area be o. |
Jackbaur88:Oga mi I no fit fall my Papa hand ![]() |
Gerrard59:When I see you name Tidjane Thiam (Who is even an old man), then I already know you lack that prime confidence (which is the essential thing in the art of gaming). I stand at 6'2 and I am confident the gbola that I carry cannot be replicated in any race . I have lived in 11 different countries (Including the America's) and sir, the ladies have always, I repeat "A-L-W-A-Y-S" rushed me... different types, I even had a menu, if I wanted blondes, brunettes, red heads, skinny, mini, thick, you name them. Infact when I was in Turkey (that women are more conservative) I still ran extreme game. The good thing I love about the dating scene outside Nigeria is the fact that, you don't need as much money or riches to run game, just the essentials are ok, but you need to have your confidence in tonnes and you need to know how to use the "black" clout to your advantage, if you don't, then you'd probably endup writing about white privilege in picking up women yada yada yada... Oga I did point N kill, top specifications, location and language was not a barrier. Infact in Japan, running game was the easiest because the ladies are naturally timid and reserved so your confidence and kindness goes a super long way until when you shift pant. Infact I was like a celebrity that time, because they barely saw black people in Japan. In Europe I let them know the stereotype about African gbola is true, From France to Czech Republic to Scandinavian regions, I was a legend, I shifted wombs for free during winters due to popular demand. In the US sir chai... mheeeeen Infact lemme stop here because although I have hung my boots, I never barb my dada. So oga, I don't know what you are talking about. If you are the calm one, just say it, Don't generalise all brothers sir, because some of us have conquered. |

EraseTheDot:Please, stop doing this to yourself sir... |
Iamgrey5:I can tell you this, the complete layout of the Dubai of today was built in 15years. Guess what? This was achieved with the same oil money Nigeria has.

Olabestonic001:Are you implying that INEC basically wrote the Electoral act? And they can do and undo even if it goes against the Electoral act... The 25% in the FCT debacle is Peter Obi's argument, and our law states that INEC is correct by default until proven otherwise. So, INEC does not need any court pronouncement because none was before the courts (as at the time of the vote counting), nor were INEC accepting Abuja voters as being 'more' than other Nigerian voters.Just to remind you on how the Judicial arm of Government works, whatever the supreme Court dictates, "becomes the law" and once again this issue was interpreted by a dictation of the supreme Court in 2008... meaning it stood as the law until an ammendment... Trust me, if this wasn't a case, then there would have been no petition on this regard. |
Olabestonic001:I am not in any way going against "The Law" All I stated was; 1- The Supreme Court already interpreted this in 2008. 2- It's clear enough to understand without bias Once again I conclude that we await the court... But note this, if this 25% issue needed further interpretation, why did INEC go ahead and announce results in such an instance of ambiguity? Shouldn't this interpretation have been done before announcement of the winner? |
Olabestonic001:Bros if we go that direction, in 2008 the supreme Court already interpreted this 25% in FCT when Buhari took INEC to court, so there's no need to cross reference interpretations, when Nigeria's judiciary already did it. https://www.arise.tv/supreme-courts-judgement-in-2008-mandated-a-candidate-to-score-at-least-25-in-the-fct-aondoakaa/ However we are waiting for the court to interprete in this case. |
Olabestonic001:No it means the software can efficiently interprete English without bias |
sameoldguy:Bro... this thing was a scam o... it was only free drink I got. If you know how I dug floors up to find 7up bottle covers just because of Daewoo Racer. Tchai |
Eniitankorede:So you are insinuating he has a Nigerian diplomatic passport? Which is illegal, considering the fact that at the moment he holds no federal appointment or public office. |
Eniitankorede:Oga, gone are the days of lack of information... If Tinubu is still in possession of a "Nigerian Diplomatic passport" after 2015, then fully understand why he needs to appear in court. Does Nigerian immigration law permit ex-public servants to still be in possession of diplomatic passports after their tenure? Please sir its 2023... don't be deliberately ignorant https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/189639-buhari-withdraws-diplomatic-official-passports-from-ex-governors-ministers-senators-others.html?tztc=1 https://punchng.com/ex-govs-ministers-refuse-to-surrender-diplomatic-passports/ https://guardian.ng/news/immigration-withdraws-diplomatic-passports-of-ex-govs-others/ |
