Nightmareo07:Thank goodness all of them went to world cups but only the one you think isn't better happens to be Nigeria's record scorer in the finals... Of breathtaking goals at that, like seriously you need to watch all of Musa' s Goals, then I dare you to say he isn't a better attacker than the above duo. In fact I know you are joking, because Ahmed Musa easily makes it to a winning eleven squad of Nigeria's finest. #dropsmike |
ChiefAzubuike:If it's the Oguchi Onyewu who was in A.C Milan you meant, Oguchi Onyewu is an American although of Nigerian heritage, he has never played for the Nigerian national team before. |
mymen:Torres has retired, he is not still playing... I think It's Alonso |
twentyk:Brov edit your statement... Lewy was better than Lukaku before, is not better than Lukaku now... Just Imagine if France had a 9 like Lukaku instead of Giroud(by the way, Olivier Giroud and Lewandowski have a similar approach to striking but have different techniques) Lukaku is a very physically consistent brutish 9 that has recently perfected his finishing(a mix of prime Drogba and prime Eto)... in my opinion the only 9 ahead of Lukaku "in technicality and finishing alone" is Harry Kane and that should be who Madrid should go for. |
SalamRushdie:You've said it all bro... that being so, this thread should be closed. |
Samakus:Actually there are some fast Cb' s that play defence to midfield link play, e.g Samuel Umtiti, David Luiz, Cesar Azpilicueta, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos... I really appreciate Leon Balogun, but to be able to play that style of offensive-defence efficiently, speed is important, he needs to do more speed training. |
izzy4shizzy:I disagree with you mate, Leon Balogun is Nigeria's best cb at the moment in terms of timing of tackles, forward passing, defence to midfield link play and especially aerial battles. He was the key reason Iceland's strategy was thwarted, because of his timely interceptions, which was higher than Ekong and Kenneth O, he and Ndidi had the highest aerial duel success in the match, despite the heights of the Iceland players. He just lacks pace to match his defence to midfield link play. |
NIGHTMARE0O7:Yes I agree, he had a 97.8% success rate in aerial duels. Nigeria's best in the worldcup so far for a cb Nigeria's best cb so far. |
CChillz:No, Victor Moses for Tyron and Iwobi for Mickel... |
neezar:You forgot Kovacic and Brozovic |
Originalsly:What I meant by sexy; is does English spoken with the Nigerian accent sound appealing or attractive to non Nigerian English speakers. E.g. I find English spoken with a French accent quite interesting, however some accents make English sound disturbing... basically which category does the Nigerian accent fall under? |
nickxtra:Yes, you need a visa to Turkey from North Cyprus still. |
tossytiller:Hi there mate, It seems you have already made up your mind to go to Cyprus, there's no need to try to advise you otherwise... Because many have already told you not to go, yet you want to hear something. I will inform you on these however; In North Cyprus, 1-Apart from odd jobs which pay 50TL => 9Euro a day or 1500TL => 297 Euro a month, there are no proper jobs in Cyprus, I repeat there are no proper jobs. 2- Turkish language is crucial to even keeping an oddjob. 3- The Island (like most Island economies) is very expensive compared to what you earn. 4- Yes you earn in liras, but the prices of things in general are linked to the Euro cost, due to South Cyprus's economic pull/influence on the North. 5- to get a work permit is another high jump 6- any Nigerian who is doing well financially but isn't a student is most likely into something fishy. The south is another ball game entirely... if you are not Legal, you will be deported instantly. So if you are thinking of hustling in the south of Cyprus, without a legal status I.e student visa, you will be found almost instantly by the law enforcement. That Cyprus is not a good place to hussle |
A man that attempts to swallow a big stone is confident in the size of his throat. If you are going to North Cyprus after being warned about the lack of jobs and alternative ways of raising funds there, then it means your sponsor base is adequate... and should be adequate for about 2 years. After spending 2 years there, then you would be able to figure out a strategy of survival that would match your situation "fight or flight". |
Nairalanddist:Dude watch all "champions league goals" then confirm who scored the best. |
Yes, with Msc's, highly specialized international certifications, strong sector experience, advanced graduate degrees or research degrees specific to the industry. Bottom line; YES, they employ 2:2 holder's. |
Differentkaro:Not just in Nigeria, it's a well known fact that Xbox has a poor game library compared to PS. |

Please take Note "Honorary Citizenship" not Legal Citizenship ... Two very different things. Before some people start spreading inappropriate news or having the wrong notion. Congratulations to Pasuma though, it is indeed an honour.

EsotericMonk:Garbage clubs?? It's very clear to see you aren't informed about other leagues in various regions, you only follow up the English Premier league. I see a very diverse squad, with a combo of players from different top league divisions around the world. Check up Deporivo la coruna of Spanish la liga, Torino of Italian Serie A, Leicester city is no longer a little cub as we know, CSK Moscow are also champions of the Russian league, perhaps you don't watch league 1 of France of which Nigerian players feature in or the Belgian league.... Bro update yourself |
NwaAmaikpe:Trust me, this guy was getting bald... it was inevitable |
Hybrid600:Quite fascinating, but this list isn't up to date as the US currently has diplomatic rows with some countries over various subjects which has affected the visa free entrance to those countries e.g Turkey. I also fink Brexit will be affecting UK 's visa free status to various countries eventually, that is if it already hasn't begun. Update your data. |

Oroolorun:*Falls down from Pawpaw tree* *Farts* *Starts crying* This was sooo hilarious lol! This is the most Hilariously interesting thread on NL from my point of view. |
aijaydiva:-1 I never said you shouldn't go, (as the saying goes; "a man who attempts to swallow a stone, knows the size of his throat" by all means if you know what you are doing, then go ahead.-2 Ah abeg o ... lol, I am not even claiming to know better, I am only saying my opinion based on the information I gathered about Fiji, from previous experiences, so I may not know what you know. -3 So because the currency is high it means the economy is thriving? For your info, apart from Vanuatu, New Caledonia and French Polynesia that require constant aid and are basically fisherman villages, almost all Pacific Nations have shared trade alliance and linked economies, so most of their currencies are seemingly at par -which is why even Papau New Guinea appears to have a strong currency on paper, but in reality the country itself is struggling. Unless you tell me you intend to Migrate to either Australia or New Zealand (which is not a bad Idea) my opinion about Fiji remains unchanged. -4 Please update us about your progress though. |
omoboy110:Brov, it depends on which region you are in Turkey. But regardless, your analysis about Turkish women being generally open minded to "Siyah Yabanciler" (Black Foreigners) is a lie. It can only appear so due to the following reasons, however it is not always the case; 1-They have exposure: Probably they have lived in or been to Europe, esp Germany that has a high number of Turkish people. In this case the Ladies are open minded and friendly towards black people, many at times you may even think they are not Turkish as such ladies act very European & could marry you easily. 2-They are educated to a high degree: Educated Turkish women are quite enlightened and act very differently from the uneducated Turkish women, they are quite helpful and understanding. These ones won't mind dating black people as they are more enlightened. 3-Can speak English: Turkish women who speak English tend to gravitate towards black people as they find our personalities rather bombastic and entertaining because they can understand us. 4-Are curious: Never misinterprete the curiosity of a Turkish lady as Love or attraction et al. They can be really curious as most of them have never seen a black person up close, so if you bump into one, they tend to want to know if all the myths they must have heard about Africans are true, I.e ,Sungel Saçlar (Spongy hair), Hayvan ar** (Beastly Dic*s) et al, so the bold ones may approach and touch you. But after the fascination is satisfied, it's back to normal. 5-Big City girls; Istanbul, Ankara & Antalya ladies have met a lot of foreigners and are quite comfortable with relating to black people. However a majority of Turkish women are not exposed so they have a general perception of black people, they are generally reserved due to their culture and the religious ones will "Never" date a Black person. Then again, the Turkish Ladies in North Cyprus are more friendly (Because most of them are Cypriots not Turkish) that is "IF" you can speak Turkish or "IF" they speak English- However it stops there, they will hardly, I repeat HARDLY date you and if you hover about them ignoring that fact, if you are not killed or mauled by a jealous Turkish Cypriot guy, you could get into big trouble most assuredly, because it is a Taboo for them to marry outside their religion or kinsman. In your case I am very most assuredly sure, that the neighborhood girls who came to check your internet issues were university students or were Turkish Cypriots. Perhaps you probably don't know, but Turkish Cypriots are enthusiastic about speaking/learning English with foreigners so they'd jump at any opportunity to show off their lingual skills in English esp the ones who lived abroad. I speak Turkish quite well, and I have stayed in various regions of Turkey including TRNC for over 4years, so I know what I am talking about, and I understand a lot of subtlety on that regard. Sometimes though, Love happens but @vicjustice is mostly right about his analysis on Turkish ladies, they will mostly not date a Black person due to stereotype, cultural reasons, and lack of exposure. |
aijaydiva:Because I have seen Fiji... And Fiji is just a small Island with the posh opportunities reserved just for "it's citizens" ... Like, everybody knows everybody in Fiji, so anyone who screams "Jobs!" In Fiji... I hold my peace, but I know better(statistically), having been with an organization aimed at community development in the Pacific regions. Except you work in the university of Fiji or the UN, Fiji is no haven for occupational relocation or economic migration(only FNU or a UN based organization can put you on an expat salary), I just think of Moana anytime I remember Fiji... There is also acute poverty in that Island, but the people are naturally content people, so they love their Island life. Suva is also a very crammed up city, because it is the live wire of Fiji... bottom line; if you are not on an expat salary, don't go near Fiji, regardless of the job offer. I know Nigeria is hard now, and relocating seems a likely solution, but I implore people to critically analyse some travel destinations before the actual venture. Check your hustle destinations first. However Fiji is a great place to visit, the Scenery, Beaches, Skies, the air/atmosphere, and overall feel is almost like no place on earth... I would absolutely go there on vacation and spend money... But to go and live there indefinitely ... no way Brov. |
Brov, Where are the the exterior pics? Where is the car itself? |
Remgeus9:My dear, First make an inquiry for flight routing with a travel agency on potential flights to Fiji, then from there your transit visa requirement will be known. If you would transit through UK for example, then you would require a UK transit visa and you could simply check the UK embassy site for transit visa information. |
aijaydiva:As much as I am still baffled about your family's potential relocation to Fiji, I would answer your question; Fiji is visa free to a large number of countries owing to the fact that they don't have as many consulates dispersed globally, except within the pacific region and the UK if I am correct. So yes, Fiji is visa upon arrival to the Nigerian passport, if you meet certain criteria. However the main challenge with flying to Fiji are the transit visas you would require, of which the UK, South Korea, or South Africa would be required, as there is no direct flight to Fiji. |
Sarpyro1:Lol... this is funny though, you are basically asking if there is any university with free tuition for international students... well the answer is; "No there isn't" You may get a scholarship percentage in some universities in Turkey on the basis of academic merit, which is highly competitive just like most universities in Europe etc but an all out tuition waiver is unheard of. |

Media and yeye hype. When Ibrahimovic scored a bicycle kick from 32 yards from an impossible angle against England the hype was not as this normal overhead kick Ronaldo did in box 18. Madrid and ronaldo fans acting like Ronaldo just invented bicycle kick yesterday. Something that has been scored several times in football is now spectacular just because its from Ronaldo. Had Mohammed salah scored such goal, the hype won't reach this level. Fvcktards
by all means if you know what you are doing, then go ahead.
