Sirheny007:Actually if you are approved for a US visa, you get it after 48hrs, that has always been the standard procedure. |
9jakohai:So foreigners who school Tuition free in Germany pay 50% of their income taxes as well right? What has GDP got to do with a balanced educational sector? Did you know Zimbabwe is the most literate African country yet they have a GDP of 16.29 billion USD, do you also know that as bad as things are there, education is free to a certain level? Bro how does GDP affect a functional system? |
Dracoe:Do you also know in Germany, Tuition is free in "ALL" public universities? No matter what, if the government puts priority on Education as a whole... what this vC is complaining about wouldn't be an issue. |
fillmiin:Since you have everything all planned out, i.e starting the training program, how they'd post you to another company etc... don't you think your chances of getting a job are high? If I told you about low chances, won't you regard me as a "bad-belle" since your plans seem very assured. I repeat Switzerland is no place for a hussling person without solid footing. But if you want to try, go ahead |
How wouldn't she, when her travel document (passport ) allows her to go almost all around the world "visa free"... |
Golf 3, 4 and 5... if they've ever visited a Naija electrician before, then you are free to avoid it like a plague. Land rover freelander is a literal curse from the shrine of Okija, stay away. |
davidif:Sorry to quote, but did you read properly to understand my point? If you did, you'd realize you are saying what I am saying. Thanks. ![]() |
NwaAmaikpe:I am not an Igbo person, but it is very obvious that Biafra is on the Horizon.... call him crazy, nuts et al, but This man at the moment is giving the average Igbo man Hope, home and abroad... something the present government is'nt doing. I really can't close my eyes to the obvious. |
Those people again... Tchai! Na waah o... if pesin tok now, them go call am Afonja... ***Hawwwwwwwks... spits on thread ... walks away*** |
They learn from their elders mistakes ![]() |
GEJPosterity:Like are you serious? Do you really understand what development means in General? You sound like a frustrated Nigerian of which I understand but by no means can apples be compared with Oranges. By which objective measure is Zimbabwe more developed than Nigeria? Is it Economically - because the figures don't lie as far GDP is concerned. Is it Technologically - Do you realize Nigeria has indigenous automobile Manufacturers amongst a whole range of Technological innovations and manufacturing industries, what can Zimbabwe boast of on that regard? Is it in Trade or Commercially? Have you really analysed the significance of Lagos to west Africa as far as trade is concerned? Like.... come on this is a very pointless argument I don't even have to continue with this. If it were even Botswana I could have been quiet but not Zimbabwe... Anyway The Bob is an old man so it must be the senile blue's. |
expertman:First of all, A Yuuuge "AMEN!!!" to your prayers. Now, You have two options of hassle free transit visas and trust me it's going to work- it may sound impossible but this is what people don't know. 1: Since your whole family is going for a vacation in the Bahamas, apply for a US "C1" visa or transit visa, if the Bahamas visas are "on" your passports and you are able to demonstrate you are all going to the Bahamas, and routing your flights were difficult to the Bahamas without a region proxy transit visa of which the US is, you would be easily given. The good side is if you are given, the flight ticket using the US- Florida - Nassau is very cheap, as it is a popular/common destination. Don't be afraid of the US embassy, if you are confident and able to convince the consular you aren't going to the US, you would be given. Go to a flight agency and get a flight route pre booking in order to explain your itenary. 2: Brazils transit visa is also easy to obtain but, you could also get a Turkish transit visa & Jamaican transit visa, they are very easy to obtain as far as you have a proof of your the Bahamas visa and flight itinerary. Then that's it your flights are hassle free, plus you get to have visa decorations on your passport (Trust me, it's gonna look good). Check the website of the embassies for their transit visa and requirements. However if I were you, the secret many don't know is option one. Thank me later. Peace. |
expertman:I am soooo loving this response... Please and please, I advise you to get a Brazilian transit Visa as you suggested. Never depend on information from previous experiences of transits through airports without visas, the Nigerian passport is very undependable to take close shaves as such, why? Because in one minute immigration/airport authorities could suddenly become hostile towards transiting Nigerian passport holder's and one could be deported in the absence of transit visas & what I am saying is very true. Having gone through with visiting the Caribbeans myself. The airline may allow you on the flight, but immigration could pose a problem for you during passport checks. Many factors can permit being pardoned during transit without transit visas though; such as the presence of some visas such as the UK, USA or Australia on your passport, being a student in a recognised Uni with valid Id, or having transited through the route before. However if you are a first time traveller please don't take that risk, find a way and get a transit visa esp for Brazil, Sao Paulo airport scrutiny is very unpredictable esp being a Nigerian. Ask the guy who transited through Sao Paulo without a transit visa the following questions; 1-What other valid visas did he have on his passport? 2-Was he going to school in the Bahamas or did he have student documents? 3-Did he have a government invitation or tourist body invitation from the Bahamas? Transiting without transit visas is a case based affair o. A word is enough for the wise. #edited By the way if you have a Bahamas visa, it's very easy to get a German, Brazilian or Mexican transit visa. |
huntax:Asides Brexit and IS terrorism which is causing a general shake up in the EU as a whole, everything I wrote in my analysis of Europe applies. |
Na waah o |
It depends on the feild as IT is wide... as far as software and project management is concerned you need certifications but if you are trying to show you are a specialist in specific feilds like security and business information systems, bros get an Msc a Phd would also suffice if you get the liver. Regardless, IT is a feild that requires certifications by standard IT bodies. |
This question is specifically meant for Non-Nigerians, though Nigerian opinions are always welcome... How do you find the Nigerian accent as regards to audibility of spoken English, diction, wordplay and general appeal- basically is it sexy? Re: Justwise, lalasticlala please do the needful. |
I am suspecting his village. .. #Runsaway |
branhampaul:No offence man, but It's clear to see you are not well travelled. If you have been to South African countries(esp Zimbabwe & South Africa), you would quickly eat back your words with hot stew. Because as far as Africa is concerned, I surrender this argument to South African ladies-No Naija tribe comes close at all, like at all. Anybody who knows this fact will like my post. |
clefstone:No he should'nt run for president, it's thinking like this that discourages governmental progression in the first place. Let him keep doing his business he is good at that, the dynamics of doing Business is way different from running a successful government & effective leadership. There are fresh hands with dynamic leadership potentials that can go for president. Please. |
ayindejimmy:It's quite clear you don't understand the claims of the argument. This is not about a common issue as regards to Labour, this is about Diplomatic function and foreign affairs policy. This is one of the reasons "You" as a Nigerian gets treated badly in other countries. The Nigerian embassy is not just a store, it is a crest of Nigerias entirety... try to understand our argument ok? |
bkool7:Like you said, except the story is fabricated but if it isn't. .. then of a truth Nigeria is an embarrassment as far as foreign affairs is concerned |
emefav:Can I ask for the definition of an "Expended Spermatozoa"? |
bkool7:Dude it's back to basics before any other thing; 1- You walk before running... The Nigerian embassy has to establish an impression that it's citizens are of utmost priority, before other things- esp to Qatar. I believe you know the United States has achieved that milestone to the whole world, so why should a country that has been severely underated by general Global statistics, copy the policies of a country that has established a reputation, isn't that crass Hypocrisy? 2- The United States has a unique outlook to diversity due to the base history of the United States, why should Nigeria emulate the norms and values of another country's history? Does Nigeria not have her own history, norms and values... is that not what the embassy stands for? 3- First of all the United States only employs citizens of the country their embassy is based in, not expats-except in the rare case of special skills I.e language proficiency, what business do Indians and Kenyans have doing in a Nigerian High commission (such that the entire work force apart from the ambassador and Consul are Indians and Kenyans) are they Qatari's, why didn't the High Commission place the vacancies for Arabs? (Don't you smell a rat here?) 4- The American passport is one of the strongest in the world as a result of consistent diplomatic standards... Why do you think Nigeria's passport ranks so low on charts? Don't you know it's due to cases like this? Probably they are cutting down running costs thereby creating inconsistent diplomatic standards, instead of creating an absolute nuisance like this, why can't the embassy be withdrawn? I am deeply ashamed. .. Running an embassy like a bloody pub. |
davidif:Mr Man, First of all is the Nigerian high commission a coffee & Donut store? The very platform of the consulates existence in Qatar, is to be backed up by Qatar's ministry of foreign affairs not Labour- so the conditions you are stating about a difficulty bringing qualified Nigerians over, is a non factor, because they are supposed have diplomatic clearance (I know what I am talking about). There is a Quota for Consular officials that is given to every embassy by the Foreign Affairs for every country, however it could be petitioned if the Quota falls short to effective service- How can you tell me Qatar would bounce off a Diplomatic clearance for Nigerian Consular officials? However if the fault is from the Nigerian embassy (minimising costs for cheap labour) then it has to be addressed immediately as this is sending a very negative impression about Nigerias government as a whole, but if that isn't the case then, why must Qatari Visa's be an issue for qualified consular? Bro this is not about Nationalism it's about Rationalism. Anything regarding foreign affairs is backed by reciprocal policies and I ain't dumb about that... nope siree. This should be reported immediately. |
ElsonMorali:Now someone is speaking with senses! Thank you! First of all Consular officials are to have diplomatic clearance if the consulate is recognised by the country. If a Nigerian consular official can't be given clearance for an assignment then the High commission must issue a petition to the foreign affairs ministry, this has nothing to do with labour. |
davidif:I am shocked to the bone marrow to read this from you... Are the "Indian's" and "Kenyans" Qatari Nationales ??My Gawwwwwd. .. This right here is the reason why the Nigerian passport will remain almost irrelevant. .. Oh... when will competent leaders rise up, to salvage the worth of Nigerias image? |
bkool7:Are you now pitching Nigeria up the same tent as the United States? Like Seriously? ?? |
Buh warris dis na? |
Zoharariel:It would take The US less than a week to handle North Korea permanently (in the absence of Chinese intervention) North Korea is a Non factor please. Syria even has weapon backup from Russia and Iran just fyi |
My sister... She is indeed my blood, because I drive like "Kilode" & she drives like "orishirishi" |
