Music/RadioRe: Brymo To Pay N22M Or Remain At Chocolate City Till 2016 by oraclefemi(m): 8:21am On Oct 26, 2013
The reason why Brymo is leaving is because the label's focus is mostly on Ice Prince and therefore overshadowing the rest artiste's talent because Ice prince is a more commercial brand than the rest . Jesse left and Brymo too since they both believe their talent is worth exploring and pushing on their own .

SportsRe: NFF Must Respect Me, Pay Me - Keshi by oraclefemi(m): 11:20am On Oct 25, 2013
Dewze: Stupidity is even most endemic to Nigerian youths like u who come here to abuse urselves on daily bases with tribal sentiments, instead of putting hands together to fight that common enemy like the Tunisians did. You find it very convinient to put all the blames on ur leaders.

You come here to shame and embarrass urselves while the whole world is reading and watching, thinking they will clap 4 you.

The world laughs at you because each time they come to a place like NL to see the state of minds of the Nigerian(black) youths and people, all they see is disunity and low minded tribalistic arguments. They simply conclude in their minds that these blacks(especialy Nigerian black youths) are really fools and slaves. Slaves to their leaders, slaves to the rest of the world and slaves to themselves.

First clean up urself bro.
So we shouldnt write anything just because the whole world is watching? are you kidding? expose them and embarrass them abeg. Let the whole world know what fuckery goes on here, after all they have their own issues too and the media is meant for sharing ideas, good or bad criticism is always welcome so please allow us SHAME ON !

TravelRe: 2 Nigerian Students Deported From Canada After A Year In Hiding by oraclefemi(m): 12:04am On Oct 19, 2013
It is clearly stated over here that you can't work on a student visa until after a stipulated amount of time , it is well known, they shouldnt act as if they werent aware cause even your school will tell you over and over again ! dont intentionally do something wrong then ask for sentiments. I have been tempted to seek work but looking at the hurdles i went through before escaping Nigeria , i wont do anything stupid to have them deport me back without achieving my aim.
FamilyRe: Bullying Make African Kids Stronger But Kills The American Kids: Why by oraclefemi(m): 12:18am On Oct 18, 2013
No matter what it turns us into we don't commit suicide . It's not in our DNA to toy with our lives because of flimsy excuses , we Neva die because of money na txt message bullying go come kill man this topic don dey vex me. If my kid comes home with a black eye il give him another and send his bum back out there so that his fear of what I will do to him will overshadow the fear of his bullies and he can stand his ground or better still I enroll him in a karate class . I'm not going to preach to him about being a gentleman all the time otherwise he will end up being a beechy kind of man . If he smacks u smack him back if his parents come call me il come smack them too. If you're from a posh home and all that pls ignore my post my ghetto people know what I mean and it worked for us

Suicide because of text message ? Haba that's a weak person though I know it's wrong to judge but sometimes these story can't relate to the African child . The mental training we get is intense and it makes us stronger . Bully me and I won't go home with tears cause my folks will send me back to go smack the bully or no dinner for me that's if they don't beat me for coming home like that! No it didn't stigmatize me before you holier than thou come here ranting. It made me learn to be strong physically and emotionally. My brother never bully me finish na text message go come make me commit suicide Abeg Comot jare
CareerRe: Tips On How To Stop Being A Digital Slave. by oraclefemi(m): 1:36pm On Oct 16, 2013
These could work if any part of your work doesnt rely on this technology but if it does trust me what youre saying cant happen. I live on the internet, study its trend in relation to interactive media so tell me how do i analyze my work or audit media content if i am not on the information highway? where did you cull this post from? internet yeah? We cant do without these things and the rate of new innovations is on the increase so if one form of media trend reduces another is waiting to take its place and everybody jumps on the new bus..
TravelRe: A Nairalanders Trip To Obudu Cattle Ranch by oraclefemi(m): 4:05pm On Oct 14, 2013
i have been there and it is very beautiful , i repeat very beautiful . The resort hotels were expensive but the villagers got us one for 5k per night, go during the holidays to have a nice time there , if you like quiet , serene views then it is the place for you. The hotel ration their electricity but the villagers have 24hrs electricity, i dont know how they did it .The road network from calabar to the ranch is very discouraging but i was determined to get there ,if youre coming in from Lagos , try and get a car hire service with good shocks and ac. I saw an air strip along the main road leading to the ranch but i doubt its effectiveness. Nigerians wont really appreciate this place until they travel outside to spend their money on overhyped things...i have travelled a bit so i can say we have a rich cultural heritage but lack the vision to build on them.

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by oraclefemi(m): 12:49am On Sep 27, 2013
Here is a newcomer advice
I arrived in Canada Sept , currently in Centennial college centre for creative communications for a course in interactive digital media
If youre not prepared to study please dont come here at all, ive been loaded with assignments up to my neck, forget the rubbish you were taught in nigeria and this is a new start for you, i studied computer science and right now i feel like i wasted my first 4 yrs.
Advice 1. Learn how to use microsoft applications as much as you can because you will need it for submitting your assignments and also for presentations, you can also use prezi.com , it has helped me a lot because as a computer science graduate of a Nigerian university we didnt get the basic knowledge and i admit i didnt build myself, i just crammed the jargons and graduated.Learn how to use MAC computers, not a necessity but its ideal for you cause most of my classes we use a mac to follow what is being displayed through the projector. I already have a mac book pro from nigeria cause i had a passion for media and its the best machine for it.
Advice 2. Discard that shyness and be ready to ask questions , talk and approach your professors, they are willing to help . These guys are practically begging me to learn, they keep me asking me to ask them questions.. for naija you no fit follow your lecturer talk anyhow or even your prof.
Again i have to repeat this, you will have to work hard cause youre coming from a lower level of learning in our rubbish universities to a fast pace learning process and this might be funny but watch a lot of american movies and catch how they talk and converse in their accents, they speak fast and they believe you are following what they say.. its funny but its real.
Whatever course youre coming for , have a passion for it,i know most of us got courses relating to what JAMB choose for us but this time dont make the mistake , aim for your passion and you will enjoy your learning process.

Anyone going to centennial college pm me so we can hook up. Got my trv yesterday after I stormed the embassy. If you've applied for months and got no reply please head to the embassy they will give you correct info. I used an agent and after medics since July I didn't hear anything. When I got to the embassy yesterday after filling the forms a lady called me to ask if I've paid tuition, tuitions that's I've paid since April! I said yes and she asked if I had the receipt thankfully I came prepared so I was told to submit it which I did ....my agent came later in the day and was given my trv . Don't dull ...if you haven't heard anything there is something holding your app back.

I will send tthe vos an email on Tuesday morning though ,please can I have their email address?

Hello house,
I'm a silent follower and I commend you guys for all the useful posts, here's my situation , I applied through an agent and I have my uci and application number only ,can I track my application with these details ? I applied and submitted my application may 22 got called for Medicals July 23 and haven't gotten my trv despite my start date being sept 3 which is obvious I can't make it anymore . Can I call ,storm or email the embassy to enquire about my status with the info I have or only my agent can do this? My agent informed me that my school has agreed to extend start date till sept 15 . I need urgent replies . Thank you

when someone comes online to ask for help , we shouldn't capitalise on it and act as if we know it all, judging instead of advising sucks to me .....she asked for advise and the first reply was to turn around and attack her..sometimes those who act or perceive their self to be wise are .....nothing but watery shyte

Efemena_xy: Stories like these make the MrBrownJays and their attitudes to pregnant women look acceptable.

@OP, why should you be having mild to heavy arguments with your spouse frequently? Sounds like you instigate them. Please explain 'heavy arguments'. Do you get violent? Throw things around? Do you have a sharp, caustic tongue that's quick to insult the hell out of the man??

You're pregnant. The least you can do is respect yourself and keep your mouth shut. Why must you have an argument with your husband? Pls don't give the excuse of being hormonal this and hormonal that! Aren't you aware of the complications that can arise from having a high bp, which can be induced from unnecessary arguments?

I'm sorry to say this, but your husband sounds like the more mature one here. Rather than entangle himself with a battle of words, he chooses to walk out of the situation till things cool down. Or what do you expect him to do? Sit down quietly while you heap insult upon insult upon his head? Do you even know what might happen if he snaps?

Or maybe, you really are one of those who has a fetish for violence and only feel loved if your husband plummets the living daylights out of you.

Sorry, but from what you've posted, I support your husband 100%. You on the other hand haven't learnt your lesson. If sitting down to discuss amicably, and keeping your mouth shut while he airs his grievances is too much for you to bear, then don't blame him the day he walks out on you for good... straight into the arms of a more accommodating missus.

Oh, and I need to ask this of you: Didn't you guys date at all before getting hitched? Didn't you study the man before tying the knot and saying "I do"?
SHUT UP ! YOU JUST PISSED ME OFF, DONT TWIST HER STORY !!! OFFER ADVICE , DONT JUDGE HER..YOU ARENT WALKING IN HER SHOES...I DETEST PEOPLE LIKE YOU..
