PoliticsRe: The State Of Nigeria Under President Buhari by OreMI22: 5:56pm On Sep 13, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
It is no news that since May 29, Nigeria has been delving from a very bad situation to a near comatose situation. Our economy did not only suffer but appears to be as the biggest victim of Buhari's mal-administration and ineffectiveness. Three sectors that I shall talk about in this article are the Economy, Security and the Petroleum sectors. Let's proceed...

STATE OF THE ECONOMY UNDER BUHARI
During the electioneering period, President Buhari promised a 'gigantic' but illogical economic prosperity when/if elected. Immediately he was elected and sworn-in, everything changed for the negative. Job losses everywhere and uncertainty/negative slide is the order of the day. Let's see JP Morgan issue

JP MORGAN:
To those that don't understand, JP Morgan is simply an index. Investors trust their index so much that over N40 trillion is put up by investors on bonds that JP Morgan list. In 2012 Nigeria's bond under the able leadership of Dr Goodluck Jonathan, ex-Finance Minister Ngozi Iweala and former CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi FOR the first time was listed by the index. This brought about investment into our bond market by foreign investors. In January this year, the Index placed our bond market on a warning list. Unfortunately, they decided to de-list us from their index starting from next month.

Why Nigeria Bond Market Was removed:
JP Morgan's decision to de-list Nigeria's bond is summarily because of lack of fiscal policies by the Buhari government and CBN's tickling/manipulation of the Foreign exchange (www.reuters.com/article/idUSL5N11F1YQ20150909). The failure of Buhari to constitute a cabinet/implement fiscal programs has cost Nigeria potential investors and led to loss of some of the investors that Buhari inherited. The country is bleeding.

JP Morgan Never Asked Nigeria To Devalue The Naira:
Contrary to the fables in some quarters, JP Morgan never asked Nigeria to devalue the Naira as a pre-condition to remain. It only raised concern that CbN was tickering with the Naira thereby allowing it a false value which no investor will accept. In simple terms, it advocated that market indices determine the market value (which some of us have been advocating). It also called for fiscal policies to be implemented , which Buhari led administration is yet to do. The country is bleeding.

STATE OF THE PETROLEUM SECTOR
Okay, since time immemorial, patriotic Nigerians have insisted that the ongoing TAM is due to the efforts by the immediate past administration of Dr Goodluck Jonathan. The administration in March this year was very clear when it told the Senate that our refineries will start working optimally from the first quarter of 2016. On assumption to office, the Buhari administration in June 11 without lifting a 'shovel' came out to say that the Portharcourt refinery will resume optimal production in July www.premiumtimesng.com/business/184850-port-harcourt-refinery-to-start-production-august-nnpc.html. Not done, they came out on July 20 that ALL 4 refineries will start optimal production in July
www.premiumtimesng.com/business/185402-nigerias-four-refineries-to-resume-production-in-july.html.

July came and gone...August came and has gone... Now the GMD of NNPC on September 10 came out to say the 4 refineries will start working optimally in December
www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/189786-nigerias-4-refineries-must-be-functional-within-90-days-nnpc-boss.html

I won't be surprised If by December they shift it to January/February 2016 in line with the projected first quarter by GEJ administration.

STATE OF SECURITY/INSECURITY:
As a pastor in Tinubu House of Prayer Ministry, Yemi Osinbajo was to use spiritual warfare in alliance with the military experience of renowed War field marshall, General Muhammadu Buhari to uproot Boko Haram from our territory. That was the message that APC gave Nigerians during the electioneering period. But since coming to power, Boko Haram that was in their extinction phase as at May 28 suddenly came back and have been terrorising Nigerians in the most brutal manner. Since May 29, over two thousand Nigerians has lost their lives. The latest victims are the unfortunate people in the IDP camp in Adamawa state. May their souls rest in peace.

May God Bless Us All
Sir,
You have said the undiluted truth.

Now expect the janjaweeeds to begin attacking your person and calling you an ediot, a basterd etc, instead of contesting the naked facts you have presented in your post.

That is their typical default mode when confronted with facts.

PoliticsRe: PMB Reversed Okonjo-iweala/jp Morgan Devaluation Policy. JP Morgan Is Angry! by OreMI22: 4:37pm On Sep 13, 2015
APC crooks are just terrible shameless liars.

Naira was stable for more than 4 years under Okonjo iweala at N152 for a dollar.

Less than 100 days of Buhari as minister of finance, it went to N223 for a dollar.

Yes, we know who had a devaluation policy.

PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria's Economy Going Back To Be A Smaller Economy Again Just Like 1983? by OreMI22: 11:53pm On Sep 12, 2015
investnow2013:
I Want you to critically examine What happened Before 1983 & What is now happening to Nigerian Economy since this new govt started!. Is Nigerian Economy growing? or shrinking?. Is Nigerian Economy getting bigger? or Is it getting smaller?. Is there any deliberate plan both within & outside to count it's size?.
Those at helm of affairs in nigeria are the same people that stole from Nigeria 30 years ago and caused the biggest brain drain ever in our history, which is partly responsible for our poor educational and health standards. they are back again, but this time, Nigerians of goodwill should not just surrender to them. they should be resisted with every means necessary.

Just as in 1985, the so called changing the color of naira notes to solve economic problems will fail again.

They can very well adopt the Cedi and drop using the naira. Those that looted nigerian money already have them in dollars and in banks overseas.

A tree does not make a forest.
The only thing a yoruba can talk about being decent in Ibadan is cocoa house. In reality, the cocoa house built in the 1960 is a very old building begging for renovation.

Meanwhile, Ibadan claims to be the highest populated city in Africa! Where do all the people live?
We have been bombasted here with pictures Igboland, EXCLUDING IGWEOCHA (Port harcourt), which is still Igboland, inhabited by Ikwerre Igbos.
Aworis and Egun are owners of Lagos and like Ikwerre's would rather be referred to as Aworis than Yoruba. So WHY CAN'T YORUBA SHOW ANY OTHER YORUBA TOWN?

Enjoy Ibadan grin

Not to be dulling, all these folks need to visit coal city to understand. All these kano flyovers would have been unnecessary if the city was well laid out and planned like Enugu. Why do you think Nollywood can't get enough of the city?

How many such useless flyovers do you see in Abuja? Abi Kano is finer than Abuja too?

PoliticsRe: Eastern Neighbourhoods And Streets Are Made by OreMI22: 1:08am On Sep 07, 2015
spellingcheck:
sure that is your rating, i saw pics from kano, kaduna, jigawa from the north, but the west only brought pics of akure and one bridge. sadly but yea the north took second for the purpose of this thread
I won't bother with posting northern second largest cities outside their state capitals, it will just soil the entire thread and make it look like a goat farm thread in Chad or Sudan.

Quota system keeps posting the same Kwankwaso bridge over and over, unlike every one else on the thread that does not repeat any picture twice. That shows he thinks that is probably all the north can offer.

Again, Notice that From Sokoto to Maiduguri means all of Northwest and northeast combined! Yet they find it hard to subdue just one region. grin
Also note that these two regions (northwest & northeast) collect the fattest share of the federal allocation if you removed the 13% oil derivation given as addition to the federal allocation to oil producing states.
Imagine if you combined the southsouth projects & southeast, the way quotasystem combined the northwest and northeast regions.

Ultimately, the northern cities are far better than the southwest cities, but the living standard of the average northerner is so appalling, which will make even the animals up north wish they were from SW if they could choose. Same with the human beings there.

Why are Yorubas so allergic to the TRUTH.
Have i not posted the places correctly or you will be happy when i lie that Southwest region is like America?

If you want it to look like America, ask for regionalism and have astute Yoruba administrators govern your region and develop it as it happened in the past.
From the pictures, it is obvious that the Yoruba days of glory were during the regional tier of government. The entire Western region almost urbanized over night. Since yoruba does not know what is good for her and joined the oil thievery of other peoples resources, Nigeria has been a hell hole and the southwest has declined drastically. The current system of unitary federalism has only favored the northerners, but yorubas are too ashamed to admit the truth.
Answer truthfully, Is this picture Illinois or Ibadan?
If we agree it is not Illinois, ask yourself why the development was abruptly truncated since 1965 when Regionalism ended.

yea, keep telling yourself that. I served in the north and that's no way like the north. In an entire state, only a street would look reasonable. It's very disturbing. They told us the locals hated corpers cos they believed we were the ones stealing their money. I ran away from the north after I redeployed

Trust me, hate aside..the north is trash. No offense intended
The north is so much trash, it is pointless to show it here.
At least the SW has old buildings, the north has none. Rural roads in the north are nothing but a path through the wilderness, only passable with a 4X4 vehicle. You don't want to see the villages, i assure you of that.

Forget their fancy state capitals, it is pointless to show the north outside the state capitals.
