My fear is that they want to give people world class medical treatment.... In a pandemic this may not work.

We keep seeing patients on large hospital bed with ventilators and monitors.... (How many will they have to go round).


And they did not treat very old people. Any treatment would have been better than no treatment.

Not good enough.

But then all news outlet confirmed he died that same night.

We are starting to see the merits and demerits of every system (political and economic systems).


Can any country endure isolation and the quarantine of its populace. For what time frame. Where will government get the funds ( especially all these governments that have no savings and live off taxes) where will taxes come from.

Do we even have enough medical personnel & supplies to treat a million people? Enough oxygen, beds, drips etc. This could be worse than a war situation.


What is the best way to handle this situation? Isolate non key people go ahead with business as usual and watch out for sick people? Or isolate everyone and hope the disease dies out?

Those are very nice structures. We are blessed in Nigeria. That ota is a marvel with 21 years of uninterrupted light..


By the way we have many public hospitals at d local state and federal level that can be used . And plenty abandoned federal buildings in Lagos.....

Many scientists claim the virus had actually been around for a while, people were not tested and did not know they had it.


Yes many people already have it, many will survive it and many will not.


Americans are concerned that the rich and famous have access to testing while many apparently sick people cannot get access to testing or healthcare facilities.....

The only way to survive Lagos is have easy access to fully air-conditioned buses.


Those things are saving lives.


I am however disappointed at the neglect of the
brt bus parks e.g at toll gate.

Before you could get access to bus to any part of Lagos there but now government has neglected it and passengers are left stranded.

Iyana oworo- the lack of buses is apparent with early morning crowd.
