thebargainhunte: Oya na, those that can predict stock market make una help me predict my next move. Rook to E3, white king moves to row 2, 'A' rook takes pawn on B4. From there black has a upper hand. That is if black turn was next, but as it is, black(You) is screwed. The 2 white rooks are free to pursue black king to oblivion. |

RabbiDoracle: Yes you can anticipate pullbacks. But you must be sure that the pullback will take you to where you bought earlier.
Example :
If you buy a stock A at N2 and it gets to N4, and you see that there is a possibility of a dangerous pullback that could retest your earlier purchase price, then you could sell. Once it gets to the prive you bought earlier (N2) or goes lower, then you could buy more.
But where you buy at N2 and it gets to N4, and you see a decline that sends it to N3.50 and you had sold hoping that it goes lower. But it doesn't. Now you buy back at N3.6 and still ride on. That means you shouldn't have sold.
That is why you should do your calculations and analysis to be sure that before you sell that it must the the heat- causing pullback. Just like the January 2020 decline. I see ur point, I was actually thinking along the lines of 10% to 7% retracements, mandetory 2% to the brocker and 5% to 8% extra for you while you ride the trend. That is, if that someone can anticipate with some accuracy. Also depending on that someone position size, it wouldn't work with people with very large positions.( like you, sir ) |

RabbiDoracle: It isn't about making returns. It is about short and long. Meshipps said Zenith will fall. Zenith cannot fall in isolation. All banks should do the fall.
I'm long equities since mid March 2020. I agree, if Zenith were to fall that low every other stock will follow. Zenith is one of d most valuable stocks on the NSE this period. But, couldn't someone make more returns by anticipating pullbacks and capitalizing, instead of ridding long all through? Shebi dey said all trends come in five waves. ( Elliott) |

Really, but todays trading volume was only 23.49 millions with 576.22 million naira turnover. How did you sight d 81m bid? Is like you spend way toomuch time in front of a screen, bad for your eyes o. |

meshpips: Let me show us a few things from my volume analytics :
Last week closed at 16.95 while last week's VAP was 17.44 (this was why I said touching 17.44 will be the litmus test for Zenith as at last week).
For this new week, the VAP is at 18.08
We still have about 509 million units of stock in the net sell direction as shown in the K column.
If price touches 18.08 this week then closes with a bearish body next week, Zenith will sell back to the 11.90 low (maybe lower).
18.08 is the price level to watch for this week. You are saying Zenith will drop 34%, the only way I can see this happen is if institutional investors deside to exit the market for some reason... |

I am not interested in stressing myself out to prove a point.
All of una tell me say make GTB hit 19.45 before I should bother saying anything else. E don happen.
Now una still dey use me do yeye. I nor get that kain time bros. One problem with you TA crowd is that you call numbers with such certainty to the point of unnecessary arguments, know that what ever tool you are using is based on lagging data. Every forecast is one of several probable outcomes. It is not like calculating the escape velocity of a satellite where parameters are constant once you have measurements; TA is not a science, it is more like art. |

If you want 10 and 20 days periods, you have to select it twice. Once u have the indicator on chart, select d tiny gear on it, from their u can change period as well as color etc.

RabbiDoracle: While I agree that the market is predictable as I have long been researching on that, I do not think this is the main financial crisis. The main one will come much later.
So Gann and Antoniou are getting it wrong because they are not factoring the Fed effect. Where the Fed is a backstop to prevent a 1929 style prolonged fall.
That prolonged fall will still meet us whether we like it or not.
From my research the bear market started in 2018 and not 2020. No need for research sef, 200 exponatial moving average shows accurately bull and bear periods on any historical chart. |

Na so u love us reach? U want us to hammer by fire by force abi? Something tells me u are equally scared and uncertain, u want to lure as many people to get in and so raise prices, so even if casala burst you go still collect on stock appreciation. If gains were sure I don't think u would be advertising aggressively like this. My thought sha. |

meshpips: Here is a question that should get bargain hunters thinking . . .
Which would you rather buy:
1. A stock that is making new 52 - week low
Or
2. A stock that is trading above its 52 - week average price and has pulled back to a level of support
Bargain hunters . . . . Hmmmnnn The answer would be 2, because from a TA point of view, if all things being equal( no good_bad news) there is a high probability of reversing to it average price. I would use a donchian channel to set both trailing take profit point and stop loss. 1 is not a good strategy especially if its 52 week low is ur only basis. |

ebuka1997: Hey guys how much do you have to have in your trading account to have a chat with your broker to reduce your charges... I use Afrinvest and I just realized how exorbitant their fees are... they charge 1.35% and I’m thinking of taking with them first and if they don’t budge I’ll move over to MorganCapital... I just want to see if they can reduce it for me say to 1% so I don’t have to deal with the stress of migrating and moving my shares then gradually I can think of moving to MorganCapital I sold some shares today for the very first time (UACN, just above break-even , my little jijo funds was trapped for nearly one week and prices were heading south). My observations are 0.91% for buying and 1.26% for selling. I use Morgan Capital. |
