Another goal for CIV It is finished. They deserve to win. I don't understand what our boys are playing. |
Religion is just a tool in hands of mortal men. What is it with religious leaders and the sexual abuse of children? I hope this documentary will teach gullible Christians some lessons. Look within! My dear brother and sister, stop giving your power to external forces. What you have been looking for has always been within you! You don't need any pastor, prophet, elder, or Governing Body in between you and your creator. You have direct access to God - that is why he is your Father. Take back your power and shun these man made religious organisations that abound in Nigeria and around the world. |
May his soul rest in peace. We will all die someday. Be your brothers keeper and be kind to others. We all came Naked and we will leave Naked. |
Religion and it's many antics. While I do not doubt the possibility of panaromal experiences, videos like these make me marvel at how religion has destroyed the lives of men and women alike. Because of religion, mankind have forgotten about the God residing within their own soul. Instead, they have resorted to worshipping external forces. Look within and you will find what you have been looking for. |
MaxInDHouse:I am quite sure you didn't watch the video. Because if you did, you would have known that the video is actually a recorded phone call between the uncouth Elder and the other JW. Ignorance is not an excuse. |
Watch this video uploaded on YouTube about a year ago showing a Jehovah's Witness Elder was screaming insults at another JW for keeping a beard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSiz2btCO6E?si=0ugUttLkYGlkbf36 This was a year ago, and now that the rules have been changed by their Guardians Of Doctrines (GODS), will that uncouth Elder apologize to the man he insulted just because he had a beard? |
Eyinju112:Hahahahahahaha Another one bites the dust. 😂😂😂 |
OChimex:You are missing the entire point. Can you please answer my question? As a full grown man, why do you have to wait until your religious leaders give you approval before you can grow your own beard? Why? |
OChimex:So why do you as a Jehovah's Witness have to wait until your religious leader gives a go ahead before you can grow your own freaking beards? That is how CULTS behave. Have you forgotten that the Governing Body said this? "All of us MUST be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not." Watchtower 2013 Nov 15 p.20Bro, you guys are a CULT. |
OChimex:This is why the Jehovah's Witness organization is called a CULT. Only in a CULT will the religious leaders give instructions on whether or not you can grow a freaking beard. If it sounds like a cult, acts like a cult, then it is definitely a CULT. |
As seen on Reddit: Triggering - beard announcement |
What a wonderful new light! So we can now wear beards? Wow!! All thanks to the Great Governing Body! 😂😂😂
|
Oh yes. Beards are now allowed by the Governing Body. 😂😂😂
|
achorladey:Yes that is the case I am actually talking about. The quote I posted is from the press release of the exjw association of Spain. Watchtower was trying to bully them, not knowing a big L was on the way for them. 😂😂😂 The Law has clearly said they are a cult. Wetin we wan hear again? |
NowYouKnow:Do you know that the Madrid High Court in a ruling recently called your organization a "sect or cult"? This is from a press release about the judgment: The sentence describes the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses as a "sect or cult" arguing: |
MaxInDHouse:You sound rattled. 😂😂😂 Where is your evidence? When spreading a lie, make sure you have evidence to back it up. |
NowYouKnow:While I appreciate your honesty on this thread so far, the fact remians that the Jehovah Witness organization is a CULT. I say this confidently based on the BITE Model created by Steven Hassan. B - BEHAVIOR This category explores how manipulative groups regulate and dominate their members’ actions and behaviors through strict rules, rewards, and punishments, limiting individual autonomy. I - INFORMATION Examining the tactics of manipulative organizations to control information flow through censorship and propaganda, restricting members’ access to outside perspectives. T - THOUGHT Focuses on psychological techniques used by such groups to shape beliefs and attitudes, suppressing critical thinking and promoting conformity. E - EMOTION Explores how manipulative organizations manipulate emotions, fostering dependency and loyalty through love-bombing, guilt, and fear-based indoctrination. |
MaxInDHouse:Continue spreading your lies. Till date you still haven't shown proof that Courz and Oteneaaron are the same person. Why did you run away from the other thread? The heat was getting too much from a fellow JW right? SHAME! NowYouKnow:😂😂😂 |
MaxInDHouse:Hahahahahahahahaha You are now insulting another JW like you? 😂😂😂 He has put you in your place hasn't he? Archoladey, Emusan, Courz, MightySparrow you guys need to come and see this thread! |
KnownUnknown:This is absolutely true. Most people haven't really sat down to carefully read the Bible. If only they did.... Well, ignorance is bliss. |
Janosky:Hahahahahahahaha Keep shooting yourself in the foot. So if you are using an example from Babylon the great aka false religion to prove your point, does this now mean there is no difference between them and your organization? So what makes your organization the "only true religion" when you are just like everyone else? 😂😂😂 |
MightySparrow:In its absolute finest my brother! So they are looking forward to fighting the war of armageddon where billions of humans who are not Jehovah's Witnesses will be killed by the dead Governing Body members when they get to heaven. Hahahahahaha What a joke! And yet they claim to be peace loving people? 😂😂😂 A freaking joke of a religion. |
MightySparrow:Hahahahahahahaha 😂😂😂 |
Courz:People are leaving this CULT in droves! Too many court cases on their necks that they keep losing money to. Even the Spanish Government has come out to clearly say that the Jehovah's Witness organization is a CULT. I guess the great tribulation they have always looked forward to, is happening right before their very eyes. What a freaking joke of a religion! |
What a freaking joke of a religion. I still remember the last time an Elder tried to shame me for keep beards. I simply asked him to show me where in the Bible it was specifically stated that I shouldn't keep beards. Of course, he couldn't answer. This is exactly why Jehovah's Witnesses are a CULT. As a full grown man, if the only time you can keep beards is when your religious leaders instruct you to, then you are in a CULT. Jehovah's Witnesses are a dangerous CULT. See what the leaders of this CULT said: "All of us MUST be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not." Watchtower 2013 Nov 15 p.20Too many flip flop doctrines! |
Courz:Hahahahaha I saw the news this morning too I still remember the last time an Elder was trying to shame me for keeping beards. I simply asked him to show me where in the Bible it was specifically stated that I shouldn't keep beards. Of course he couldn't answer. Now the Governing Body has flipped the rule, JWs can now keep beards!! 😂😂😂 What a freaking joke of a religion. If you as a man can only keep beards when your religion tells you to, then you are in a CULT. There are no two ways about it. No more reporting for field service and now beards are allowed? What else is going to change? |
Courz:Hahahahahahahahaha Very apt illustration. 😂😂😂 |
MaxInDHouse:Which dictionary did you get this definition from? Your definition of "Blind Faith" is misleading. The English Club vocabulary clearly defines "Blind Faith" as unquestioning belief in something, even when it's unreasonable or wrong. Check it out for yourself - https://www.englishclub.com/ref/esl/Collocations/B/blind_faith_3256.php According to the US dictionary, the phrase "blind faith" usually means believing in something without questioning or asking for evidence. It's an unconditional trust or belief in something or someone. The concept of blind faith could pertain to various aspects of life, such as religion, relationships, ideologies, or leaders. Check it out for yourself - https://usdictionary.com/idioms/blind-faith/ I ask again, which dictionary did you get your definition of "Blind Faith" from? Millions throughout the earth are benefiting from my faith and these people are from different geographical locations, tribe and tongues all enjoying the benefits of my FaithThese millions of people you speak about are Jehovah's Witnesses. At this point, you must understand that what you find to be beneficial may be regarded as a disadvantage to another person. For example, here are some of the "benefits" Jehovah's Witnesses gain from their "blind faith" in the Governing Body: 1. The Governing Body claims that Jerusalem was destroyed in 607 BCE which supports their doctrine of Jesus coming back to earth in 1914. But evidence from archeology has shown that this is a BIG LIE. Jerusalem was destroyed in 587 BCE and this completely destroys your doctrine of 1914. Do you call such a LIE a "benefit"? 2. The Governing Body predicted that the world would be destroyed in 1914, 1925, and 1975 but NONE of these predictions EVER CAME TRUE. Do you call such false prophesies "benefits"? 3. Your organization claims to "love one another" but this "love" is conditional. If a Jehovah's Witness decides to leave the religion today, they will be shunned by their family members and friends who once claimed to "love" them. Is such conditional love a "benefit"? 4. According to the B.I.T.E model, your religion has been proven to be a high control religion aka a CULT. Is been part of a high control cult another "benefit"? it's inhumane to start questioning such a Body whose instructions have brought great benefits to people who are living in different locations on this planet! That is exactly why I say you are practicing BLIND FAITH. Don't forget what your Governing Body said: "All of us MUST be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not." Watchtower 2013 Nov 15 p.20 Apart from the head knowledge you carry up and down do you have anything worthwhile that those in your neighbourhood are enjoying in your so called infinite mind?First things first, I am not trying to sell a religion or creed to anyone. We are all experiencing this reality based on our individual personal experiences. I am only asking people to always do the research to confirm or disregard the doctrines taught to them by their religious leaders. I am only asking to take back control of their lives from the grip of their religious leaders. I am only asking them develop the mindset of a critical thinker and learn to question everything. If they can do that, they will realize that they have never needed any Pastor, Bishop, Pope, Elder or Governing Body to stand in-between them and their creator. If they believe that the God they worship is Omnipotent and Omnipresent, that means he has Infinite Power and is everywhere all at once. If he is everywhere all at once, then that means he is also living within their own soul. So why do they need any religion in-between? The Infinite Creator of the entire cosmos is alive within their own hearts! All they have to do is to look within. Even the Bible says the same thing to them: Luke 17: 20 - 21 KJV -When they do this, they realize that we are all one - no matter our race, tribe or religion. Therefore, they learn to treat others exactly how they expect to be treated. What other benefit could be greater than this grand realization? |
LipozSwiminPool:I just checked KJV and the same alteration by the Catholic Church is there also: Matthew 28 VS 19 KJV version: |
MaxInDHouse:Do you have any idea what Blind Faith really means? Blind Faith is the unquestioning belief in something, even when it's unreasonable or wrong. For example blind faith is still fuelling many religious conflicts. Unlike you, I don't practice blind faith. I question things that are wrong and don't make sense. I am not scared of any mortal man - so I do my research and ask important questions. I don't swallow doctrines of men hook line and sinker. For example, as a Jehovah's Witness, this is what your Governing Body has said: "All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not." Watchtower 2013 Nov 15 p.20The above statement by your Governing Body makes absolutely no sense because even the Bible says this: Psalms 146:3So why can't you question your Governing Body? |
