Politics › Re: Credit Must Be Given To Bola Tinubu. The True Face Of Opposition In Nigeria by otr1(m): 10:22pm On Mar 31, 2015
I've always admired Tinubu since the days of NADECO.
Nigerians will have the cause to thank this man.
You might want to disagree, but Tinubu is a hero!

Tinubu is a genius.

I must admit this is the happiest day of my political life since 1999.
First time I'm convinced an opposition party can wrestle power from the Monster PDP and came to fruition.
I was never mistaken of our victory when I started having the feelings that Buhari is our next CiC way back in 2013.
In fact, I'm contemplating giving everything I've ever worked for, to the needy and start afreshcheesy
Politics › Re: Drop Your Message of Commendation For President GEJ Here.. by otr1(m): 9:35pm On Mar 31, 2015
I salute the courage of our outgoing President, GEJ in conceding defeat even before the official declaration and I hope he would remain a gentleman he's proved to be throughout till May 29.

With happiness and gratitude to Almight Godgrin, we announce the demise of the PDP.
The party died moments ago after suffering a fatal blow from the APC in the just concluded Presidential bout.
We pray to Almighty God to grant every member of the umbrella family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Nigerians are the real winners here.
I've always said it that APC's victory would usher us into a new beginning. Our democracy is a full grown up just at 16.
Today would be my greatest moment in this year.

Our labor is not in vain.
We've succeeded in pushing PDP out of Abuja.

I've never voted for any Presidential candidate before, until I started having the feelings that Buhari is our next President.
I can never be mistaken.grin

Buhari,

officially released = 19.
2/3 of 36 states = ?

we wait upon the time the final result is announced and the mathematical calculations may commence!
Then let's wait for INEC, but don't say I didn't tell you Buhari won at least, 25% in 26 states and FCT.
Now, give me a break!

When I saw his response to your assertions, I immediately knew the guy was confused. Buhari pulled over 25% votes in more than 24 states.
He's a perfect example of confusion.

Course Code: INEC 002
Course Title: ELECTORAL SYSTEM EDUCATION!!!

Course Summary:

1. Criterion 1: A presidential candidate must secure at least 25% of votes cast in each of at least 24 states of the Federation before he could have a chance of winning an election.

2. If a candidate has the highest number of cast votes nationwide but fails to satisfy Criterion 1, he won't be declared the winner. Instead, the candidate with a lower total votes but meets Criterion 1 will be declared the WINNER.

3. Where there is no winner, a RUN-OFF election between the two closest candidates will be conducted within 7 days of the first election.

4. Criterion 2: From the re-off election, winning is by simple MAJORITY i.e. the presidential candidate with the higher number of votes cast will be declared the WINNER even if it is just by one vote.

Until the Chairman of INEC announces the final result, every preliminary result does not matter
It seems you don't even understand what you posted up there. Same thing I was trying to make you understand. APC won at least 25% of votes in 25 states and FCT already. Criteria 1 fulfilled. Now APC Buhari will be declared winner if he meets the second condition.
If you still don't get it, please wait for INEC and don't bother mentioning me again. I'm busy!!!

femi4:
That will be in a run off election
Which run-off?
Almost all the results are out already and shows both parties have fulfilled the 2/3 of states criteria. In this case, the party with the majority of votes will be declared the winner.
If you have any point to the contrary, please prove it, citing relevant sections of the electorial acts.

APC will make 25℅ in 24 states. I m not sure about PDP.

I need a run off jare
PDP will make it too.
Majority of votes will determine the winner now.

APC is leading quit alright but PDP has up to 25% in 16 states out of the 19 states collated while APC has 25% in 14 states out of the 19 states. So, anything can happen
Nothing different will happen. We've seen it all.

If I'm not mistaken, I'm certain APC has fulfilled the 25% of 2/3 of states criteria. He made at least 25% in all the Northern and Southwestern states and the FCT. Now that's 25 states plus FCT. Do the maths.
Did you just say PDP will win Zamfara and Bauchi? SMH

Rubbish as usual, upon presidential prostration, presidential begging, presidential buying of votes with impunity. I have the results if you want. Buhari is the president elect of Federal Republic of Nigeria even with the obvious shameful practices from your region.

Just 300k difference?

I dash them Oyo + Ogun difference.

Katsina tackles Rivers, Jigawa + Yobe tackles Akwa-Ibom

Kano, Gombe , Sokoto, Bauchi still in the cooler
If the differences in the remaining states are within this range, then, I'd better be writing my congratulatory message to GMB already.

cos that is the deciding factor, you are so blind..... right now inec is giving APC the extacy, fueling there wish......excitement, ......
SW and SE would come as a shocking end to all this, and knock you back to reality

adios
Which SW again?
It's APC 5-1 PDP there.
Jonathan needs a miracle right now.
Remember, the turn out in GEJ's own PU is less than 50%, so PDP better know how to doctor the results down there.

Good to hear that. Even without 25% in any SS/SE GMB will still clinch it with what he has recorded in Edo, Ekiti and other SW/NC states.
Any update from Edo yet?

What's this one sayinghuh
Have we seen any result in the SS/SE yet?
Allow APC do their own riggings too, in order to neutralize whatever you people are doing down there.
We will also inflate the remaining results coming from the North. Wait and see! APC isn't sleeping too.

Edited:
Votes from GEJ's PU should not be up to 300 in any circumstance, coz the total number number of accredited voters is 200+, so we want to know how they will record 600 for him.
