Politics / Re: Okorocha Suspends Commissioner’s Salary! by Otunne1: 10:15am On Feb 17, 2012
@okija juju, every single road being constructed by owelle, has drainage, he or his deputy who is the works commissioner, will canceal any road project without drainage especially in owerri. For instance rochas personally canceal 2 road project, executed by former pdp chairman on the spot because the thickness of the tar was not met.

@Topic,
Though you have a very valid point here, it is a free world and all of us don't feel the same way about everything.
concerning my name, i think we are all adults, and ought to be mature, and secondly thats my dialact, in my place no one can read any meaning to it, we dnt use "f", but "t" which is the same thing by interpretation and application. @ topic what i hate is their unreasonable hatred for the man. No matter how bad ohakim was, he still did little go things which we all acknowledged

i hate it whenever these guys invade threads that are related to owelle. I want to say that no man is perfect except jesus, owelle is not perfect but if u compare him with imo ex-govs, he is a saint except de mbakwe, but the way things are going, mbakwe's achievement will be a child's play if he continues this way. Both dede and okija juju, does not stay in imo, but will always jump to issues they dnt ve much info about, thereby speaking lies against a man who is do well (aleast for now) for his ppl.
Politics / Re: Okorocha Suspends Commissioner’s Salary! by Otunne1: 8:27pm On Feb 16, 2012
in imo state today, owelle is constructing new roads, reconstructing existing ones(i wnt to used this opportunity to challange any bdy from imo state, who will can mention any community without a road project either finished or stil ongoing, and was started by owelle), owelle is building 309 primary skuls, owelle is renovating secondry skuls, owelle has brought morribounds industries bck to life, whatelse do you want him to do okiga nd dede?
Politics / Re: Rochas Has Done It Again As Imo Councils Get N27b For Capital Projects by Otunne1: 7:30am On Feb 06, 2012
macjive01:

@dede, just got off the phone with a person in owerri and i did ask what is new, what ROchas has done so far, and he mentioned ,

Rehabilitation of all roads in Owerri metropolis, prefab, world bank, (actively on)

Dualiazation of Owerri - Umuahia road up to 71/2. (road marking going on)

Dualiazation of Owerri -Aba up to Airport junction.(road marking going on)

Dualization of Portharcourt road. (road marking going on)
you ve tried, finding out for urself. If i may add to that, dualization of orlu-owerri, orlu-nkwere-mbano, orlu-orsu-ihiala, orlu-uga, orlu-ideato roads. And the dualization of all the major roads in orlu and okigwe. @dede, havent you wondered why pdp no longer talk in imo state?

I would not have responded to your post if you have limited it to the alleged promises made by Okorocha. However if you believed Okorocha accomplished all you have written in less than 6 months in the office as governor of Imo State, I shall say malaria is a common sickness in Nigeria.

Precisely on December 10, 2011, I traveled to Obodo Ukwu, Ideato North LGA. I set-off from Owerri to Amaraku decided to use Anara-Okwelle-Dikenafai-Isiekeneshi-Dimgba-Ogboko-Urualla Junction road. Bear in mind that Okorocha is from Ogboko, Ideato South LGA and people from his village said the road was built by Udenwa/Ohakim government. When returning to Owerrri from Urualla Junction, I decided to use Orlu/Umuma-Nkwerre-Umu Ozu/Isu-Agbaja/Isu-Amaraku road. Again, the people along these road stated the road were built by Udenwa/Ohakim government.

In fact Okorocha must be a God-sent magician if he accomplished the construction of the roads mentioned on your post. The intended Owerri ring road that would pass through mechanic village in Owerri still remains untouched since Ohakim left office. The construction work on Owerri/Port Harcourt express carriageway remains stagnated on the Imo State portion.

However, it was never a dull moment at Ikenegbu hill towards Orji where Okorocha center or whatever is situated because he was seen in the complex everyday playing Father Christmas by giving out free kerosene.

remember i said most of these project are at their early stages, point of correction, rochas did not start real road project until late dec because of the rains., so this govt has actually started more than 160 road projects in less than 3 möths, i can bet anything. Point of correction, all of those roads you mentioned, ohakim did not do even one, udenwa did all, infact, ohakim did not do up to 10 road project in his entire tenure. The porthacourt road is an nddc project.

even tho am a young man, i ve not seen anythin like this in imo state b4. @dede, there is a rochas initiated project going on in every single community in imo state. @abagworo, u need to visit orlu and okigwe, rochas promised to make them as developed as owerri in terms of infrastructure. orlu is my town, and every single road in orlu is being reconstructed, every major road being dualized, 4rm orlu to ihiala, 4rm orlu-nkwere-mbano, 4rm orlu-uga anambra state, orlu -ideato-okigwe so much, even 4rm orlu to owerri, owerri to okigwe, all these roads are currently being reconstructed and dualized, tho some of the project are at their early stages.

Politics / Re: Igbo Killing In Kano Is False - Okorocha by Otunne1: 5:03pm On Jan 27, 2012
Dede1:

It is very amazing to read how Nigerians talk from both sides of their putrid mouths. The orchestration of Ndigbo being targeted and killed in northern region by Boko Haram on this forum gained speedy momentum when it was alleged that south-east and south-south traders/people were not interested in the protest against the removal of fuel subsidy by GEJ's government of Nigeria.

In attempt to spur the Ndibgo into or.gy of wanton destruction of lives and properties that belong to northerners, mainly Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri, living within eastern region, mostly non-Igbo commentators flamed the ember of ethnic bait by literally denigrating Ndigbo for lack of reprisal. Such attempt came in the form of false allegation that Ndigbo were solely targeted and killed by Boko Haram in northern region of Nigeria.

The alleged killing of 13 Igbo businessmen in Mubi, Adamawa State by the Boko Haram did not help matters. Most non-Igbo commentators on this forum intentionally and ridiculously reframed the acts of Boko Haram against Nigeria saga to mean Boko Haram against Ndigbo in northern region of Nigeria. If non-Igbo commentators are not passionately writing about Ndigbo being stranded at motor parks in northern region, it should be about Ndigbo being killed trying to escape on foot.

The ranting from non-Igbo commentators about the massacre of Ndigbo by Boko Haram was so loud and clear that I even posited if Ndigbo were so massacred as the ninnies would want us to believe why Igbo land has not been filled with Igbo corpses from the northern region of Nigeria.

In fact, I am not surprised the same loudmouthed intellectual midgets are still here but this time to start another plank of irresponsible accusation.
.

dede m, i love you(no homo).

@asha, i understand ur concern about imo. The writer made some true and false comments above, but all i can tell u is that ppl are very very happy with rochas, that some are trying to block his presidential move that he should do a 2nd term b4 goin 4 presidency. Even though its too early to judge, the man is doing wonders administratively. 150 road projects at a time, am impressed.

Politics / Re: Imo Contractors Threaten To Abandon Work by Otunne1: 10:16pm On Nov 30, 2011
@asha, my brother, ohakim and udenwa in that order, are the worst things to happen to imo state. They could not capitalize on the foundation laid by mbakwe. As for the farm, i think it is big enough to produce even more, since it can absorve 2500 personnel excluding management staff.

asha 80:

if i am not mistaken the bolded outfit issue has not been tidied up like the adapalm that was done a few weeks ago a la roche group?
as you know, the farm is/was death, they are doing everything possible to make it functional to its maximum capacity. So far, i think no company has reached their valuation of the farm. They are asking for about 3.5bn annual rentage, but before then, the farm has to be functional.

my brother cool down, if you dont know, ask question. Adapalm is currently employing 2500 youths, avutu modern poultry employing 2500, the newly established imo contruction company 2500, imo state govt is also employing 2500 science teachers. What else do you expect, rochas is talking much, but he is even performing more. It is better you talk and perform, than not doing anything at all.

there are about 42 road projects going on in owerre now,(when i say owerre, i mean owerre municipal alone, including nekede, amakaohia and akwakoma. Owerre west and owerre north excluded, even though work is also going on in these areas). In ikenegbu, new roads are been opened, old ones will rehablitated likewise amakaohia and akwakoma, so many illegal buildings, have been marked for demolision, while some has already been demolished. In owerre main town, every road there is been retared, infact it is remaining just few roads. There are many other road projects which i cannot mention now, because am typing with phone. Even in nekede, work is going on almost everywhere.

@op most of what he said, if not all are all true. Rochas is for real infact if he continues like this, if you dont come back in the next 2 years, you may not recorgnise your city again. Image 42 road project going on at the same time in owerri, owerri/orlu road, owerri/okigwe road, all the major roads in orlu and okigwe, all the federal roads in imo been dualized. Imo can only get better.
