Femmy you are so wrong. It was not a legal adoption because the boy was taken illegally. So you are not going to convince anybody otherwise. If his father had abandoned him then and said it was okay for the woman to keep him then fine. As far as the law is concerned his mother is a criminal (RIP) in the US. I hope the biological father wins custody of the boy but it might traumatize the boy too much to take him away from all he knows after losing his mother.

Fashion › Re: Do You Use/prefer Tampons Or Pads? by Outstrip(f): 6:16pm On Jun 08, 2009
I use liners and tampons. I have a question though. WHat idiot invented that paper apllicator. I ran to go buy that one thinking it would be smoother and that thing just refused to enter. I almost injured myself trying to get it in. I know it was some frustrated man that had not had sex in a while. anything to get back at the vagina. I stick to my plastic applicator any day and time. Maybe that should be the next thread. Plastic or Paper. LOL

There is nothing wrong with preferring light skinned girls cause everybody has what they prefer. I just wanted to make sure that we are talking about the same Kelly Rowland. I don't think she bleached her skin either. A lot of the chemicals used in spas to take off the dead skin cells usually lead to takong off the upper layer of the skin and thus eventually the person starts to look "brighter" as opposed to lighter. It only makes the skin look healthier. I have no issues with that either
Romance › Re: I Love my Negroid 'black Sisters' more than Caucasian 'white Sisters' by Outstrip(f): 5:14am On Jun 08, 2009
Kelly Rowland is definitely dark skinned. There is not a spot of light on her. It s hard for you to accept because fair skinned equals beauty to you. She has never been light. In fact she used to be darker than she is not. She has had a nose job, boob job and brghtened her skin a little but she s even still dark and it looks good on her

Romance › Re: Is The Cliche "Time Heals" Really True? by Outstrip(f): 3:54am On Jun 08, 2009
Time does not bring relief; you all have lied
Who told me time would ease me of my pain!
I miss him in the weeping of the rain;
I want him at the shrinking of the tide;
The old snows melt from every mountain-side,
And last year's leaves are smoke in every lane;
But last year's bitter loving must remain
Heaped on my heart, and my old thoughts abide!
There are a hundred places where I fear
To go,--so with his memory they brim!
And entering with relief some quiet place
Where never fell his foot or shone his face
I say, "There is no memory of him here!"
And so stand stricken, so remembering him!

Edna St Vincent Millay - 1892-1950

When I broke up with my last boyfriend I was so sad. It was a very loving relationship but I wanted more. I wanted to go back a million times but I stopped myself. The most important thing though is that unlike "my favorite poem", time brings relief. You will get over him. Believe me you will think back and smile with no regrets. You will love again.

One of my favorite poems is by Edna St Vincent Millay. I will find it and post it.
Family › Re: Marriage of an Educated Woman and Uneducated Man by Outstrip(f): 3:43am On Jun 08, 2009
Some educated people are so clueless it boggles the mind. I have had conversations with degree holders and I did not know if I should slap myself or slap them. What I have learned over the years though is that someone who seeks knowledge and is open to learning knew things is much better than someone who is so rigid and will not even bother to pick up a book and learn something new. Education is great but it is not everything especially when we are talking marriage
Family › Re: There I A Time And A Place For Everything (a Rude/racist Nigerian Mother) by Outstrip(f): 3:38am On Jun 08, 2009
Did you really call a Nigerian man's mother a bitch. You don craze finish o. I suspect the relationship is over. If a man called my mother a bitch then that is it. His mother was rude but you even said that you guys have only been talking for a month. Did you expect him to tell his mom to be quiet. I believe he should have warned you about his mother's strong opinions though. Well good luck. At least you learned something from the experience

Politics › Re: Tax: Lagos Pastors Go To Court by Outstrip(f): 4:41pm On Jun 07, 2009
sojuiguns you are contradicting yourself up and down. No one said the pastor should not pay taxes. They should. The church should not. If there is a piece of land in the churches name then that is the churches land and if they collect rent from the churches property then that is the churches money. If the pastor collects income from the money realized he should pay taxes on it. If a plane is bought in the name of the pastor then he will pay taxes anything short of that is evasion. It is very simple. You are confusing yourself by making it sound complicated.

Jim Iyke sef why would he sign a contract and then refuse to follow through?

where is Aloy.emeka sef (Iyke's appointed PR agent)?[/quote]Did you read the article. The contract was for three days and it went over. They broke the contract not Mr. Iyke
Celebrities › Re: Jim Iyke Beaten Black And Blue On Location In Kastina State by Outstrip(f): 3:20am On Jun 07, 2009
Last year and I know what I am talking about. Ordinary people if they get a good lawyer win civil suits in Nigeria if they let the right people hear about the case. Unless the person that punched him in the face was YarAdua working a part time job as a security man then you have a point
Celebrities › Re: Jim Iyke Beaten Black And Blue On Location In Kastina State by Outstrip(f): 3:16am On Jun 07, 2009
If he can afford it then why not. I would personally do it as a matter of principle. Anybody can hire security. You do not have to be well connected to do so. Any lawyer in Nigeria would be happy to say Jim Iyke is my client. They might even take the case for free and yes people win civil cases in Nigeria.

Celebrities › Re: Jim Iyke Beaten Black And Blue On Location In Kastina State by Outstrip(f): 2:31am On Jun 07, 2009
So they broke the contract and then got thugs to beat him up. If this is true then these people are fools. If Jim Iyke takes them to court he will get more than that 600,000.00 thousand from them and they might even get jail time in criminal court. Jim Iyke has the money to take them to court. Idiots.

Celebrities › Re: Beyonce Shouts Too Much by Outstrip(f): 2:26am On Jun 07, 2009
I was just reading an article about how Beyonce "over sings". I am not a Beyonce fan so I cannot even say that she really does but I do remember even when they were the original destiny's child that her voice was always louder than the rest. The ex members said that her father had them work it that way when they edited the songs so that Beyonce's voice always stood out.

y me:
if they fall in-love
believe me hombre they change automatically that is the power of love
not all tho undecided
That's so true. I have seen this over and over again though it takes a man that is very secure in himself. A man that feels inadequate cannot handle a strong willed woman.

He disrespects you
He disrespects your parents
His mother is a push over
He has an issue with authority
He is not happy unless he is in control
He does not seem excited at your accomplishments
He has a history of lying
He has a history of hitting or disrespecting women
He seems to evade the issue when you try to bring up the future

He seems genuinely interested in your interests
He puts as much effort into the relationship as you do
He does not think that there is "women's work" and "man's work" and when you do "man's work" he appreciates it
He has a very respectful, loving and healthy relationship with his mother
He is not a complainer
He is not intimidated or scares by your success
He shares your religious beliefs
He puts you first
He goes out of his way to do things for you
He doesn't wait till valentines day to say how much you mean to him

There is nothing wrong with it. It is even better since they will respect their in laws more seeing as they are all in the same family though not blood relations.
