Is this even a questionhuhhuh If your friend cannot understand then too bad. You are not marrying him. The only people that need to be at that wedding is the bride and groom.
Family › Re: Is It Proper For A Woman To Build Her Own House? by Outstrip(f): 11:40pm On May 18, 2009
If you do not tell your husband how he should spend his salary he has no freaking right to tell you what to do with yours. Bottom line is that if you or even your husband decides to do anything as significant as building a house then you should be in agreement. These kind of men are the ones that drive women to do things behind their backs. As for those of you saying she should not, does this man seem reasonable to you. I can tell you right now that this sort of person will not have a problem kicking her out if acts like she has an opinion. What will she have then. Common sense should tell you that a woman that has a man that is this inconsiderate and egotistical should have her own thing on the side

So she is jealous of who? The man that is cheating on his wife or the girls that have turned themselves into whores. I don't really get the point you guys are trying to make. The only advice I can give to the poster is that she should keep her values and don't get discouraged about marriage. There are still some honourable men out there

Family › Re: Ant In Your Cup Of Tea by Outstrip(f): 7:29pm On May 17, 2009
If you can nag about an ant in your cup of tea then you are probably nagging that poor woman to insanity. What if she did not notice the ant or even if she did why can't you get it out. You are not even happy that she even made the tea and poured it for you. Please appreciate your wife and stop this unnecessary nagging. There are many other important things that you guys can fight about

Just normal husband and wife fight. Not a big deal. I don't blame her for not wanting to drive in Lagos sha. You have to have a strong stomach to drive there. I am glad you guys have made up and are working towards a solution

I cannot believe that someone said "what makes her a woman". Are you kiddinghuh Thank God one thing I have always known is that if a man has no common sense then do not even consider dating him. WTF. Are people really this, I don't even know the word to use. It is not stupid because that does not really explain it this. IGNORANT. That is the word. BLISSFULLY IGNORANT

Car Talk › Re: How Much Does An Average Okada Man Earn In A Day? by Outstrip(f): 6:44pm On May 14, 2009
God bless you Mr. Kelly for posting. Though I think riding an Okada is very dangerous and would not advice any of my loved ones to do it I think your post is very inspirational. If more University students thought like you then they will not be running from family members to family members begging for money when there are options out there. I have a friend here that her family members were calling her asking her to "do christmas for them" and I was so irritated by it. She keeps saying that I do not understand because I do not have family members that "NEED". I told her that that was just bad behavior because they were not asking for money for school books or fees but rather for christmas and these are not little kids. Rather than work hard to make ends meet most of them will be embarrased to do that kind of work.

My cousin pays her driver 15,000 a month and she says she is generous since most people pay 10K. Okada men got it made o if they are really making that much.
Family › Re: Wife Snatching: Man Asks Friend To Take His Wife But Return His Kids by Outstrip(f): 11:24pm On May 13, 2009
First of all why would any man go to such length including jail time to hold on to another man's children. There are only two reason I can think of
1. The children really are Mr Obasi's
2. He is trying to protect an abused woman
The fact that he was following his wife and still never caught them cheating tells me that it might be all in his head also.

What an insult. I try not to be an advocate of violence, but tell your friend to send the boy packing.
Please don't make me laugh here. You are telling her to send the boy packing. Which mouth will she use to say it. The one that he will slap. The woman cannot do anything because her husband is a sissy. She has to give him a taste of his medicine. That is the language he will understand. You cannot treat wild animals the way you treat humans. This one is a wild animal.
Family › Re: Would You Cremate Your Dead Loved Ones Into Diamond Pendants by Outstrip(f): 3:31am On May 13, 2009
I can definitely do it. It can be done and I would prefer that to carrying their ashes in an urn. I like the idea but it makes it hard to let go of a loved one when you carry them around. I would imagine that someone who lost someone too soon or in a tragic way would want to do this so they can wear the person close to their heart as a pendant.

She should get thugs to beat up that goat and also to beat the shit out of her husband. I know that I would probably kill that boy. I wonder if he is mentally ill though because why would the husband be scared of himhuh? Bottom line even if there is mental illness he should not be in the house but in an insane asylum.

These girls live where they have options as far as opportunities to do things for themselves. They do not have to depend on a man for money so I think in their head they fancied themselves in love. Tuface needs to be careful. He comes to the US to do shows and these women can go after hs money for child support. This is not Nigeria where you can have children and show up every 6 years and give the mother N200.00 to buy cookies. He makes $10000.00 a show and all his 100 children will be entitled to 25% and that is before taxes. By the time Uncle Sam takes his own and then child support comes out too he will understand that having children can be expensive and that it is a serious commitment. Someone needs to sit him down and talk to him. In fact scold him like you would scold a 2 year old. Before long now he will become OctoDaddy

This is really a Nigerian problem not just Edo state. If he gives these contracts to foreigners they will even curse him. So he is saying wait another 3 months on top of the 5 months before we can start seeing progress. Well we can talk all we want but he has promised 3 months so I will set my clock. AUGUST 13th.

EYAH Ramat park. We used to have picnics there when I was a kid.
@ person talking about people wanting skyscrapers who asked for that? State one thing that has been done. I know that he is fighting a war here. even getting rid of those commissioners will not be easy but being a leader is not easy. You have to make these tough decisions and you have to make it in a timely manner. If teachers have not been paid then the most basic things have not been done. In fact I am upset to hear that we are still dealing with that problem. I know he froze all the state accounts as soon as he came on board but if he and his people are getting paid why should the mother or father of 5 kids getting up every morning to go to work not know if they will be able to feed their children tomorrow. At this point I want to see basic thngs being done.
Roads being built, state employees being paid etc

PS
Not to yab Benin or anything but I noticed when I was in Benin that there was a Pedestrian bridge close to UNIBEN that looked like if the wind just blew right that it would topple over. I was commenting to my uncle that this made more sense that they built one there also since a lot of students cross that busy road everyday. Do you know that it was not a new bridge. They had taken THE WHOLE BRIDGE from UBTH gate and just transferred it to main gate. How ghetto is that?
Family › Re: Her Husband Is Forcing Her To Have A Caesarian Section! by Outstrip(f): 6:08am On May 12, 2009
Has anyone sat her husband down and explained what a c-section is? It is surgery. It can kill. Just because it is done more now does not mean it is not a serious thing. This is not just about this baby. There is risk of blood clots, the mortality rate of babies and mothers double with c-sections and lets not forget higher risk of blood infections. They should be sure that they will be willing to live with any consequences. If anything happens to that child, his marriage will be over, the mother will be dead anyway and so could the baby.

I prayed for Oshiomole and when I was in Benin last year I wanted to go see him with my boys and ask him a few questions. He was so busy receiving visitors so it was virtually impossible for me to spend even 2 hours of my short vacation waiting for a man that I probably would not see.
I am for Oshiomole though. He is from my home town and I have followed his talk since about 2003. My issue now is that I want to see action. I know that there are a lot of people that want him to fail but there are those of us that are praying for his success. I am a little dissappointed thay there has been no real improvement. I mean can I see some roads being built? When it rains and you unfortunately have to go through Uselu market road you are done for that day because that road becomes a river. You cannot get through it. My dad has had to sleep at church because unless you car doubles as a boat you are not going anywhere. His secretary's husband and children almost died (at least one had to be brought back with CPR) when they got trapped in the flood with congested traffic and husband and children lost consciousness in the car from carbon monoxide poisoning from the cars in the congestion.
Benin looks like a skeleton of what it was when I was growing up. It almost makes me cry. I just wish we could see action. What was the plan? Or was there no plan? There is a lot of work to do. Pick somewhere and start. Auchi, Uromi, Ekpoma etc. These are major cities that look like villages. We have major institutions there and that can be the beginning of something big if they start developing these towns. I know Oshiomole is for the people. Of that I have no doubt but forward thinker? We are yet to see o

Well I don't know your mother in law but I will not want to impose my mother on anyone neither will I want any one to impose their mothers on me. Some people just have no manners and they carry it into old age. You just have to be careful. There is nothing worse than dealing with an old mannerless person because truly all you can do is shake your head. You do not want people to say that you disrespected her and if you do your wife will use it to insult you till the day you enter the grave and your family will not even side with you on that one. Only you will feel the frustration. Just be careful.

It is the same hair only that she pulled it up. If that hair you see is straightened it would be down passed her shoulders just not as full and that's why she wears pieces in her hair
