My own rating Enyeama (6) - Did all he was asked to do and wasn't at fault for the goal. Ambrose (5) - Joined the attack but had issues with the pace of Man Ugly (Aristide Bance). Did place a wrong pass to Musa when Ideye was open. Since he is actually a ball playing CB, I would like to see him pair Oboabona in our WC qualifiers. Very unfortunate to be sent off. The trickery of Pitriopa got him off the field Yobo (4) - Calamity Yobo. Poor Leadership skills and largely at fault for not instructing the players to hold on to the ball. Did throw himself into the challenges in the first half Oboabona (4.5) - Poor game riddled with school boy errors (ballooning the ball out of the defence). Kept Dagano quiet for most of the game but pushed up with the midfielders in that sad attack foray in the 93rd minute Echiejile (5) - Dependable. Despite his horror show against CVI, he was not caught out of position and kept his head Mikel (7) - Easily the man of the match, would have gotten a 9 if he actually scored but sprayed passes and tried to link the midfield with the attack. He 'strolling back' to position always put the defence under pressure. Dude needs to improve his work rate. Ogude (3) - Very poor game. Bad positioning and deserved Ambrose's card. Should never have started the game if Reuben was fit. Maybe this is because the Norweigian league ended in October Igiebor (5.5) - Decent game. Nothing special! High work rate in covering for Mikel's lack of pace. Should keep his place in the next game. Musa (6) - Tormentor in chief whose nemesis was keshi's insistence on switching wings in the 2nd half. Made decent runs and crosses and helped the defence a lot. chased every ball but his exhuberance led to the ill fated attack in the 93rd minute Ideye (6) - decent game. Missed chances but wonderful assist! Was missing for most parts of the game because his positioning was rarely picked up by the slow mid field. Great addition to the SE Emenike (7) - Decent centre-forward shift. scored a good goal with high work rate. Didn't come deep to help his defence and was unlucky to be taken off instead of ideye SUBS Uche (5) - one word! wasteful Onazi (5) - came in to shore up the midfield and didn't do anything wrong Omeruo (5) - put in a decent shift at RB thegoodjoehunt:Agreed! Yobo is now our nemesis! Ambrose , Omeruo , Oboabona are our best defenders |
I agree with everything she says except 1. Why aren't those lovely looking lips on my phallus? ![]() |

esere826: So now I find myself wanting to settle downWhy do you think your views is not another dogma? Why would your counsel alone teach another pastor to avoid the known folly you have identified and not probably fall into another you haven't seen or thought to exist? I actually agree with the OP and submit that a lot of 'pharisee evangelical christians' actually need to visit other churches (with a different worship style) for a sunday or two. With the same open minds they do theirs of course! |
The oil industry moguls always complain about a dearth of required hands, tons of Nigerian graduates willing and waiting for an oil company job. what a world we live in? |
@honeric01 That's something Mikel should have incorporated into his game to get the goals. The guy is so comfortable with his achievements. I can't say I blame him. |
The French Army bungled a rescue ops in Somalia the US Navy Seals did with aplomb a few years ago. Today, they have gone to Mali to 'help' radicalise Boko further to bomb Northern Nigeria to the 14th century. http://www.voanews.com/content/somali-rebels-declare-death-sentence-for-french-hostage/1584701.html Radicalism is fueled by desperation brought about by poverty and state sponsored corruption. This has always happened through out human history. Until we fix the starvation and desperation in the North, we in the south will continue to have drums of war beating in our domain. |
teskyg: So u prefer the Islamist to overrun Mali and put their Government in place?Would you also prefer such a Boko Haram to over run Nigeria in same way? odumorun 1: The idea that an islamist takeover of Mali will spread terror across the region betrays a lack of real understanding of the dynamics of radical movements. Nothing tames radicalism as much as the responsibility imposed by power. Insurgents are dangerous because they have no fixed address. Blowing up buildings is easier than fixing pot holes in the roads or providing basic necessities to the people. |
^^^ Even if they are 19 (3 years older), These guys can potentially play till 35-38. That's a plus unlike Mikel and Taiwo that were probably in their mid-20s when they played for under 17. |
@Sagamite I actually think the lack of any developmental plans for the kids is hurting us. Imagine if our players actually get better at 20, they can play on till 35. Drogba, Yakubu, Kanu, Weah, Song etc all played till their mid-30s (projected real ages) at the top. The sad part of this lies is that our players don't learn anything when they are young and we get average stars. Imagine if Kanu or even Weah were raised in the Netherlands! I still like our Super Eagles but I have noticed a new trend. . . Those guys raised outside Nigeria (Shittu, Dike, Moses, Aluko, Anichebe) play with a lot more zeal than the other 'home-grown' talent. |
Good practice! I wish Sunday Mba was dropped for Bright Dike or Victor Anichebe Ogude looked heavy and he should have been dropped for Raheem Lawal We clearly do not have a RB. . Efe Ambrose is a CB. This begs the question. Why didn't Keshi invite Fortune Chukwudi? The guy had reinvented himself as a RB for Sharks last season and was a delight to watch. one goal and three assists I hope that leaky position will not haunt us in SA. That said, I am happy with the progress of Oboabona, Omeruo and my favorite SE NOSA IGIEBOR!!! |
I liked this game. . . Where is malcolmeter??

Loud mouths have been shut and thread seems to have outlived its usefulness. Some ethnic bigots still believe in inate supremacy. . .poor sods Nigerians are still being reamed by the ruling class . . . Yet another wishful thinking thread exposing the shallow and greedy thought processes of NL users |
Duru1: The above post is an illogical crap from renowned drunken fisherman. What a loser.Ndo o Biafra is gone. . . Your homeland is filled with kidnappers, jobbers and erosion. I'd rather live by the sea; fish and quaff my whiskey than live on palm kernels and corn in an erosion laden back water and b'itch about my failed attempt at grabbing free oil and land from my neighbours. Then assuage my over inflated ego with my perceived superiority and prosperity. Look at PHC, the areas dominated by the drunken fishermen are crime free whilst all the kidnap hotspots and hideouts are in the domain of these chest beaters and rabble rousers. |
vicenzo: You are being as ignorant as possible, ijaws were members of the eastern house that voted for secession,i guess you don't know the meaning of representative democracy. Wasn't the name biafra chosen by an ijaw house member, frank opugo?Who were the members of the consultative assembly? Was the consultative assembly of men the same as the Eastern House? Who is Frank Opigo? abi na ''Opugo'' Why isn't he mentioned in any document besides Nairaland posts and online references written by Biafran sympathisers? I hope you are not talking about the late Angiama Monarch Chief Frank Opigo!!! vicenzo: On whether ijaws would have ruled biafra, well, eyo ita was once a premier of the easter region, and he wasn't igbo. You boast about GEJ being the number one citizen today, but you have forgotten who gave him a strong base to build from, endorsed him even before he won the primaries, what made you think it would have been different in biafra? Wasn't adaka boro elected the SUG president in UNN,an igbo dominated university. The same Eyo Ita that was the brains behind Calabar-Ogoja-Rivers state creation (COR) - a state in the Eastern Region with non-Igbos. I'm sure he enjoyed his tenure as head of Eastern Region. Which by the way is nothing since at the exact same time Azikiwe was premier in the West! When Zik came back nko? |
Ngodigha1: @Abagworo, you created a thread for the ijaw plight. Nigerians not only Ndigbo contributed here negatively or positively, yet Ndigbo are the ones being insulted now by the ijaws.Tripe! |
vicenzo: Stop thinking with your anus, can you give me one instance where ndiigbo as a group, tried to annex non-igbo lands. I'm waiting. You are the one with fecal matter for brains. Did the Ikemba consult with UJ Esuene and Diete-Spiff before adding their territories to his new country? Or the chiefs of all the villages in four non-igbo states that Ikemba annexed? vicenzo: "Igbos would always be avoided by all and sundry". Well,i don't think so,not long ago, igalla people were begging for igbos to come and invest in their land. You ijaws have to chill,it wasn't the igboman that poluted your lands while siphoning the wealth from there to their lands(lagos and abuja). Blame adaka boro for that,he gave it to them freely. Hahaha!Yes, we have been shafted by the north but today many Ijaw young men have benefited from GEJ's largesse. We have actually been recognised and the current 'presodent' is an Ijaw man. Would an Ijaw man ever had the opportunity to rule that fictitious Biafra? How many Ijaw men were speakers in the Eastern Nigeria House of Reps? How many were permanent secretaries in Enugu Pre-1966? |
Swedish and Norwegian are recognised as languages but Abiriba is a dialect of Igbo. English used to be a language of peasants (a pidgin of a germanic language mixed with latin root words) but I am typing in it and have no idea what computer is called in Abiriba. You get? ''Late West Saxon was the dialect that became the first "standardised" written English ("Winchester standard" .'' |
Another thread about Ijaw with a lot more Igbo bigots commenting and venting their spleen about what they don't know. The civil war loss has spoilt some people's farm land grab (Cross River) and oil block grab (RV, BY and AK) plans. I am not surprised. Nigeria needs states based upon ethnic groups simple. If the states are not viable, they can merge with like minded ethnic groups to form a super state. Of course, the Igbos would always be avoided by all and sundry. |
Or as one famous journalist put it '' A language is a dialect with a strong army behind it'' |
If this was a forum with white people making fun of a Nigerian that graduated top of a class with comments like fraudster, drug dealing negro...these same racists belching out chinko, fake products and other disgusting adjectives on here would scream blue murder and pontificate on how hurtful it is..but here they are exposing and celebrating bigotry and unashamed racism.. Wicked People! |
Maybe if the OP stayed away from reality TV shows, E!, TLC and their local variants, she would have a different approach to the ageing process |
Exactly! Thanks 4 d comment.
Keep patting yourself on the back. You made an ignorant assertion in your opening remark. You were corrected by pastor AIO but you conveniently stood with it and is reveling in your ignorance. For other people willing to learn and banish ignorance filled with arrogance. Use google to answer your questions and try to investigate other opinions to always reach an informed decision. Just because an ignorant loud mouth in a suit made a comment doesn't make it right. X represents an unknown within the confines of a maths text book. outside that especially for Greek speakers, it means something else a lot closer to Christ which by the way is a sort of title. The Son of God is actually called Jesus according to the bible. |
All those in support of this silly statements (esp that retard @ujoatu) are mewling quims and do not deserve to live anywhere but behind iron bars till they get it into their thick heads that women arent moving peni1e insert machines |
shadrach77: i remembered this topic appearing on the front page sometimes this year. I used to be a bit naive in thinking instrumentalists should not be paid since they are working for God. I now know better. The truth is THEY SHOULD BE PAID. We have two types of instrumentalists, proffesional and non proffesional. I am an instrumentalist in my church but i am not a proffesional so i don't expect to be paid. But if someone is a proffesional instrumentalist, that's where they are getting their daily bread so they should be paid. Moreso, we need to ask ourselves a question, is the pastor not getting paid? He is for doing God's work, so if the pastor is getting paid for working for God, why then should other church workers do it for free?Good point you raised. However, why are the Ushers that stand all morning, traffic controllers, prayer warriors, counsellors, child minders and even back choir girls NOT PAID? Truth is, No one should be paid to do the work of God including the GO. He should go and get a day job! |
^^^ Interesting He was accused of wining and dining with tax collectors yet he did not receive Golden chariots from same people. Neither did he encourage the Romans to continue to enslave the jews |
tommywise: GUYS, I SUGGEST U GO AND FIGHT D CORRUPT POLITICIANS AND LEAVE D PASTORS ALONE.....FULL STOPSince the pastors (aka Oritsejafor) have decided to join the politicians, I think they are fair game. Look at him frolicking with a fraudster, acceting gifts and not one public word of caution to the corrupt men we see him wine and dine with ![]() |
OLAADEGBU: You have to put things in their rightful perspectives. Turning the other cheek is meant to be for our individual interpersonal relationships but when it comes to national issues the elected or unelected Government has a duty to protect its own citizens from its enemies, like the Jewish mother protecting her child from the enemies missiles in the pikshur above.I dont think you are doing that. Israelis can do whatever they want to Hamas but I think a christian cheering on the death of unsaved people is plain wrong. No christian should cheer on the Israelis in this battle |
Any christian who worship mamon will end up in hell. But any christian who do not manage mamon well, the heavenly riches will not be entrusted unto him! ''He who is faithful in what is least is also faithful in much. For if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?" (Luke 16:11)This was the exact word of jesus. As irrelevant money is in heaven,Christ expects us to manage it very well.God will help us so we dnt consider money first above God ! God bless us
As is with the mantra of erring on the side of caution, why should a christian not do all he can to acquire heavenly riches as properly defined, 'in HEAVEN'! Why is it necessary to do that on earth where moth will destroy it and risk worshipping mammon and going to hell OR is the allure of filthy lucre worth the risk? |
FXKing2012: itz obvious the author of this piece is either a muslim or an atheist.Or a 'christian' that doesn't worship mammon on the side. . . |
^^^ My brother the situation tires me out. We are ruled by fraudsters and buffoons and Nigerians are gradually losing their brains. The intellect of some people shocks me repeatedly |
