At the end of the day, still not an original IP. 2026 blockbuster lineup are all established material
Your point? because Oppenheimer (2023) wasn't an original IP too, and it outdid well established IPs then, but critically and commercially.

Anyways, i ain't speaking for the people, strictly speaking for myself, because if a Christopher Nolan's flick is playing and some other rejigged IP that should have dead a long time, is playing at the same time, i damn sure know what i will be seeing.

Pluribus E1-3 5/10
The series is interesting but a lot of people are overhyping it based on just 2 episodes they watched, this kind of series is hard to drop because you want to know what happened since it’s not a zombie series or like V series, I really need to know

I love Carol But it seems Ana is the one I’m more interested at
Vince Gilligan shows are notoriously known for starting slow... circa BB and BCS but eventually picks up and becomes blindly good but an important caveat, is that, these were eras when the attention span of the world was still in intact and untainted by tik tok and the likes....

Now, my attention span and virtually most of the people viewing this, is most likely fried, and we have very very little patience, for shows that do not at least, get to the point, 3 episodes in already. The show has been placed on a very high pedestal, that i don't think it deserves. The pilot was called the "pilot of the decade", and after seeing it, and seeing how ordinary it was, i was left wondering why. This recent episode is rated a whopping 100% on RT!. So all these has lead me to my main rift with the show which is, it is nothing groundbreaking as of yet, like I have seen it before, and probably better, i dunno if you saw "Sense8", it looks like a rejigged version of it.

After seeing these initial episodes, i ain't particularly too eager to complete it tbh, and They have a plan to make about 4 seasons of it, and i am left wondering how 😒😒

And Ps...The premise "A woman trying to save the world from happiness" drew me in, because i thought they met it metaphorically and she was a very very unhappy and depressed bastárd, which would have made for a better plot, only to find out they meant it literally fgs 😭😭

The Witcher season 4 is a solid 7/10 for me.
well, this is a significant improvement to the ever terrible Season 3.
Now i can confidently say i am eager for season 5 as the battle has just began.
i like to think they really gave their best with this season 4 with all the casts undergoing some character developments.
And oh damm!!! The fight scenes were epic as ever, though the lesbian scenes were not necessary at all, seems like a forced storyline and they didn't even have a spark at all, i am sure the actress that played ciri will be very annoyed with the forced scene, perhaps a boy that's very handsome would have made more sense and even helped the show.

Anyways, let season 5 comes and let's wrap this shiiiit up once and for all.
No it's not!...The average rating of this shîtshow per episode on IMDB is 4/10, like you are probably the only person saying anything good about this season.

if for anything it's significantly worse than the previous 3 seasons. So many things wrong with it. For starters, how can a show, with that ridiculously high budget, look like what pre teen, just learning how to use blender made? The quality is so bottom barrel.

Secondly, the story is as haphazard as they come, just cut and join, the writers this season are actually crazy, in a bad way fgs 😩. No point calling it "The Witcher" at this point , because Geralt has been relegated to a background character in his fking show, just so they can preach some diversity and inclusivity nonsense, like so, any close female friendship now must lead to a sexuàl lesbo thingy?? Naah i have had it with this shîtshow...they should have just cancelled it when Henry left.... actually counting on it been cancelled, if not, godspeed to you guys still surging on with it ✌🏿.... for me, i seriously cba.

Like bro? Why is called a limited series then if you just gonna spam 2nd and 3rd season.
The bag made from that S1 was so heavy, they couldn't resist the temptation because the show runners were so adamant that it was only going to be one season, fully capturing the entirety of the source material. So what now? They are just gonna go in blindly and cook up stories for S2? The silly thing yet they can do, is to somehow bring back Ann Sawai since she was like the one of the main draw of S1...I mean, like sometimes, it's good for good things to just end..

Anyway, make them gbèwà sha 🤲🏿😩

2026 has several big movies but majorly sequels.
This one is surely breaking cultural zeitgeist when it arrives.

IMAX is already fully booked several months ahead for the premiere of this film.
Cinema chains are even adding and/or building more IMAX screens in their locations.
I saw "Toy Story" 5 trailer and i just gave up...this remakes and sequels era, is truly the worst...na Christopher Nolan genuinely holds the keys next year ngl plus DUNE part 3, that's if this WB takeover hullabaloo no make them postpone am.

For me I don't see James Cameron as Chris Nolan's peer. Nolan is far ahead.

I also don't get his obsession with the Avatar franchise for decades. At least, the film redefines visual spectacle the industry has ever known, but they just look too artificial for me.

Anyways let's see what Fire and Ash has for us this December.
James Cameron na leader o!...used to have certain passion for filmmaking and would go over and beyond, just like Nolan is doing now... Terminator and Titanic's pop cultural impact is eternal.

But you are so right, I don't get his obsession with this Avatar franchise, visual spectacle i would give it it that, but the story is not worth chugging on for years and years... saw the trailer for this latest one and I don't even know what's it's about anymore, but it's going to make money for sure, but I don't think it would make bank on the scale of the latter 2, plus cinema returns have been so radical this year...slops plus films releasing quickly on VOD had made people seeing going to the cinema has a financially futile venture, so this fire and ice , abi ash, would be the litmus test, to see if cinema has lost all its appeal and aura.

Yeah...He might actually be the last true cinematic autuer and purist in the industry because this is like when he needed all the Astrophysics calculations to checkout on "Interstellar" and relying less on CGI to bring it to life or the time he recreated real explosions on Oppenheimer, just for it to stay grounded with reality....He knows what he takes,...a mad man for sure, but the kind of madness you need to bring give one of the best literary works in history, a true cinematic treat it deserves 🙌🏿

James Cameron is supposed to be on his level, but that one is stuck making fking Avatar for the foreseeable future, like bro, i have totally forgotten what happened in the last one! 😭😭

When I watched this it was very boring. A snooze fest.
I prefer the YouTube videos covering the hoaxes, I'm an avid Why files viewer among others.
I can totally see how it gets boring with all the build up prior to the moon landing from neutral standpoint, but therein lies the greater thrill for me.

Bruhhh...These YouTube hoax videos are out of control and they are completely armed with facts 😭😭, but then again, there isn't a greater story teller or film maker than a YouTuber trying to sell you a conspiracy theory for clicks, mann, i was dangerously close to believing a "man travelling through time hoax" one time, even i, had to applaud the dedication put into creating the illusion.

RE: First Man (2018)

“One small step for man... one giant leap for mankind.”

I don’t think there’s a piece of history that fascinates me more than the "Moon Landing". Recently, I went down a rabbit hole on YT suggesting that the whole thing might have been staged, so I decided to revisit what is perhaps my favourite dramatization of the event.

Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling have such a great filmmaker actor bond, and here, Ryan plays Neil Armstrong the first man to set foot on the moon. The film focuses more on Neil’s personal story than the moon landing itself, his struggles, family tragedy, and the weight of his mission. He wrestles with the reality that he might never return, and even NASA was aware of that risk, reportedly planning a “burial at sea,” just in case.

It’s such a technically brilliant film. The way it switches between Neil’s family life and the Apollo mission preparations is top-tier. The moon landing sequence itself is a thing of beauty , visually stunning, emotional, and tense. And what’s a Damien Chazelle film without a Justin Hurwitz score? He worked his magic once again. The track, aptly named “The Landing”, played during the lunar module’s approach to the moon, remains one of my favourite film scores ever.

Now, to the elephant in the room: the moon landing hoax theories. The evidence presented by the “moon landing hoax” brigade seems, at first glance, almost irrefutable. They argue that humanity wasn’t yet capable mathematically or technologically of achieving such a feat at the time. Some even claim that Stanley Kubrick directed the whole thing on a Hollywood set, especially since he had just made 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) a year prior.

NASA hasn’t done much to silence these claims either. These brothers were so eager to reach the moon at a time when the fastest computer on Earth probably had less than 2MB of RAM. Yet today, with our advanced technology and spacecraft capable of deep-orbit missions, a return to the moon is considered too evasive, expensive, and risky? The lack of urgency to go back definitely raises questions.

Anyway, this remains one of my favourite films ever, and if you’re interested in this topic, it’s an easy recommend. 🌑🚀

8/10

But I don't think she's a bad actress or plastic either as people often say. I consider her also good in her roles. Check out Reality to see that she could actually play serious roles without requiring her tee-dees
lol I don't think she's a bad actress either, and i have actually seen "Reality" and she did quite fine, but the "Bimbo" role she played on "Euphoria" has made casting directors or her agent keep giving her such roles.

Plus it seems she's currently involved in a brawl in the political space, hence the backlash on this particularly movie.

The makers of this flick are learning in real time, that it's infact Sydney Sweeney's gigantic milkers that brings all the boys to the yard...

A role where she has to dress up and actually act? Yeah...A fantastic recipe for disaster if you ask me 🍸🍹

The same Robert Pattinson who played Batman in The Batman, the movie that preceded The Penguin series? Oh please.

While your surmise hold water, it still doesn't because at the end of the show, the Bat Signal was clearly seen. Like I said in the post you quoted, there's no way all those shit would have gone down in Gotham, and the Bat wouldn't have known, except, he was conducting his own investigation which will be explained in the Batman 2. 🤦
I think perhaps the problem here is, you have failed to see the show as a "Standalone", of which totally it is, Matt Reeves stated months before the show started, that Batman wasn't going to be in it, to keep it narratively tied to the "Penguin" alone, so perhaps you missed all these details.

Plus...I think there was an episode where a newspaper had an headline that "Batman hasn't been seen in weeks"...most likely staying low after the flooding of Gotham, which wouldn't be so off brand for him to do.

So this your need for Batman to be in this, or investigating shii seems warped, or him not being in this stopped you from fully enjoying the show?

The Bat signal was seen at the end, clearly to highlight his possible return, and thus ending the penguin narrative, which the show set out to do. The Batman Part 2 script has been rewritten so many times now, with delays and they have only just come out with a final draft, so perhaps your wish of him investigating the events of this show might come to pass, but i am in all honesty , not counting on it.

Finally saw The Penguin.

Honestly, I can't imagine how that whole shit will be going down and Batman won't have gotten wing on it. Like the guys who were murdered and their pinkie cut off and Batman won't have started investigating? Come oh. Lol. Well, apart from the fact he was already investigating it from his own POV.
There is a reason the show is called "The Penguin" and not "The Batman and Penguin" or some shii like that. Oswald was clearly set up to be the Anti-hero which suited the show's narrative seemlesly, adding "The Batman" to come do his usual shenanigans would have derailed from that. Penguin was clearly meant to be the star of this or you wanted Batman to come play second fiddle in a show set in Gotham? It thematically wouldn't have worked... plus who would have played Batman? Robert Pattinson? It would have been contractual hell tbh.

Why didn't the sex tape make Ray J famous??, no disrespect to that coital nonsense they did, it was one of the sloppiest celebrity sex tape ever..

She had a very famous dad in the legal circuit, Her Dad was OJ Simpson lawyer or so, had a relatively famous mom, plus a famous step dad too, Bruce Jenner was one of the biggest athlete, an Olympic champion even, plus Kim K was one time best friends with Paris Hilton, a "it girl" at the time.

Her nepo baby connections even was the reason people were even interested in that sloppy excuse for a sex tape to begin with.

This is the only best movie that Hollywood has released 2025 and I believe Avatar will outperform it and be the best film this year.

Action: 7.5/10
Comedy : 10/10, not forced
Story: Not new but still feels fresh
Cast: perfect and all killed there roles
Ending: What everyone will definitely want
