abduleez1:This Conjuring flick is out every month abi i nor understand? Cuz i could swore one was out not quite long ago 😩😩 |
This finale looks "rushed", where production dey hurry go?? |
Mensan first shock 😩🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Teeroyzimma:Bandwagon win is like the classic mo of every reality tv show lol. The only time it will change it's when the voting power is taking away from the fans, which kind of defeats the purpose of a reality tv show. So it is the job of the contestant to capture the hearts of the fans, whether by genuine hard work or antics, or both, but for BBN, more often than not, antics is what works best, so the contestant try different antics to capture the minds of the fans, be it, weirdo play (Imisi), cooking play (Kaybobo), Shipper antics (most people fall to this, because it looks easy on paper and comes with certain "perks", and the emotional sob story antics (Mensan). Mensan might actually be an emotional person irl, but he amplified it to the max, as a ruse or antic, to gain fans to his side, but he was too late with that antic, has it has worked over time, but Nigerians have caught up to it, Kaybobo saying he likes to cook and blah blah, was an antic too, but someone has used it before to win, Only Faith had something different to offer, he reminded me so much of miracle, but without the calmness and emotional intelligence. So really, Imisi was really the one that played an antic, that is relatively new, and untapped, and played it to perfection, and hence drew the bandwagon to her side... so if she wins tonight, she would be a deserved winner...and the "bandwagon" win is here to stay for a long while, as far as fans have the voting power. |
Kaycee7:There is a reason why he is worth 500 bn greens now, and well on his well to 1trn!...He is basically an influencer now, with that much following, he could easily alter perceptions, and i have seen quite a number of people actually cancelling Netflix. But they are some pretty danming evidence against Netflix sha, but Elon Musk outspokenness is not coming from a good place. |
Arizoner:The concept of "action movies" been unreal because more often than not, the bad guys always meet there Waterloo, is naunced in how our social human construct is. The ultimate social construct is that Good always triumph over evil" and so Movies try tries as much as possible to portray this. People watch films for emotional release or carthasis if you will, so seeing a villain topped, provides somewhat of a satisfying end that encapsulates the purpose of seeing movies in the first place. There is also a commercial angle for film studios too, Happy endings sell better. But, some few films have flipped the switch , with the villain riding into the sunset in the end, and the film still went on to be memorable but the script writers have to write the hell out of the villain and the cast villain has to have an endearing performance to booth...Kevin Spacey in "The Usual Suspects" (1997), Javier Bardem in "No Country for Old Man" (2007), Heath Ledger in "TDK" (2010), Joker so good, he forced the DK to bend his moral compass, and created the chaos he intended from the beginning. These villainous performances were so good, you'd have no choice but to root for them 😩. I will close with this, During the Hey Days of the MCU, they had this meticulous run of "Thanos" played by Josh Brolin, acquiring the infinity stones, from various movies, till it culminated in "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018), buildup so good, everyone wanted to see what this Thanos fella was all about and boy did he deliver!, and did exactly what he set out to do... Josh Brolin delivered such a masterclass, that you couldn't just help but wish him the best! 😩...I remember the day i saw it, at the end when he snapped his fingers, and everything went bleep, and the movie credits immediately rolled up with one sad score...the entire cinema went dead silent, but after about 5 minutes, we all started applauding, because after that all timer performance that we just saw, perhaps, Bro deserve that much, to yank half of life off, some of us in the crowd even started to see reasons with the purple fella 😩🙈....so that's a perfect example of when a villain in a movie doesn't upset the "Good over Evil" social construct....but of course, he got his purple behind duly clapped, in the very next movie, and then overzealous Avengers undid bro's hard work, fgs...and the MCU stocks plummeted ever since then, so perhaps probably Thanos was right 😅 |
pu7pl3:Omoo..The new UI is sleek...The native dark mode is neat af!...There is nice balance of the font accent colours against the dark background. 🎨 But for a site already minimal, the new minimalist update makes for a very bad Ux, and i can totally see how it will be confusing. |
pu7pl3:lol this is supposed to be directed @phr0nesis cuz i have seen "The Terminal List" way back and i found it a more compelling watch than this "Dark Wolf" and it's not a case of it's not just my thing.. |

Bruhhhhhhh 😩😩
|
Illusioneffect:lol and Film Twitter were telling me, it's the movie of the year fgs 😩. The expectations i have for mainstream Hollywood is dwinliding by the day tbf. |
Hueyreckless0007:Omdssssss they made a 3rd season?? 😩😩 |
phr0nesis:Bro, "The Terminal List" wasn't all that, but it had enough juice for me to see it to the end back then, so if you are struggling with it, best you avoid "Dark Wolf" tbh |
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf (2025) The Terminal List (2022) > The Terminal List: Dark Wolf (2025) It might be a stretch to say the praise got this got here, was entirely undue, but I genuinely struggled to see why. I was sold on the first two episodes, but from episode 3 to 7 it felt like a completely different show. While the action sequences held up and I can see why fans of military thrillers might appreciate that, the plot was unforgivably weak. There were too many holes, too many illogical decisions by the lead, and a needless attempt to overcomplicate things. In trying to be convoluted for the sake of it, the story actually lost me. By the time it reached its insipid, anticlimactic ending, I was left wondering: what was the point of all this? What was the show even trying to achieve? Was it supposed to build toward Ben Edwards’ turn to the “dark side”? If so, there was no emotional nuance to suggest that, making his arc feel hollow and unearned. That said, if you’re invested purely in the surface level action, you might find some en. But for a supposed Navy SEAL show, there was far more espionage drama than actual action. 5/10.

So that’s all the major CBMs done for the year and mannn, are we starving 😩😒. Seeing the Superman (2025) teasers late last year, I really thought we were gonna eat. Anyways, here’s where I stand on all of them: The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025). Surprisingly the best of the bunch and easily the most rewatchable, simply because of how gorgeous it looks. 5/10. Superman (2025). Man, I actually thought this was gonna save CBMs from the gradual rot they’ve become. Instead, it turned out to be one of my biggest disappointments of the year, a genuinely frustrating watch, because you just know it could have been so much better if James Gunn wasn’t such a narcissist. Maybe I’ll revisit later with a calmer head, but for now... 4/10. Thunderbolts*(2025). The promo run for this was an all-timer, and I duly fell for the ruse… and duly got burnt. I’ve even forgotten the clumsy plot, something, something, void nonsense. 3/10. Captain America: Brave New World (2025). I pressed my clothes, sprayed on some expensive cologne, and went out like a bubbling fool 😭 one bright Sunday afternoon in February to see this. Tbf, I had zero expectations, I just wanted to watch something on the big screen that day. And what did I get? Exactly what I expected, zero reward for my efforts!. Calling the plot nonsensical would be an understatement. 2/10. So yeah, that’s 2025 done for the genre. Deep down I know CBMs are toast, but I’m still here, waving a white flag for Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Spider-Man 4 (2026). 🏳️ Ciao✌🏿

Kaycee7:Bruhhhh 😩😩😅.....I have resorted to drawing up a list of must sees before the year runs out, and best believe it's gonna be in there 🥳 |
And is it just me or has seeing movies become such a huge chore?! 😒😩. I took the first 2 weeks of this month off work, and i couldn't even go beyond seeing 3 movies at best. It is not help by the fact that, just too many garbage movies are out these days, so i am always stuck second guessing every movie out, and ensuring i am not wasting productive time on rubbish slops. |
The Fantastic 4 First Steps (2025) We might have seen way too much media and perhaps that’s the problem. First off, The CC and grading on this was extremely top tier, all the colours popped with impressive VFX to match. But mannn, the story🤦🏿♂️. I didn’t particularly hate it, but I didn’t like it either. It just… sat there, playing it as safe as possible. There was zero shock value, zero curveball, zero angle that really brought out the full talents of the cast. Everything that happened was exactly what I expected to happen. Honestly, I could’ve checked out 15 minutes in and I wouldn’t have missed anything. I’ve been percolating on this for a while now, and maybe it’s just that I’ve consumed too much media. Overconsumption makes it feel like I’ve already seen nearly every possible screenplay idea. The superhero genre is the most burnt-out of the lot, because it only seems to go in one direction: some supervillain wants to destroy the world for selfish reasons, and the heroes have to stop them. If this movie had dropped 10 years ago, it probably would have resonated more with me than it did today. That’s why I seek out new media these days, stuff with enough juice to wow me. Even if it’s not an original idea, just present it in a unique way, like what Weapons (2025) did. That’s not to say this, isn’t watchable, it is, it is very very pretty to look at tbf, but on the off chance, you decide to skip it, you won't be missing anything. 5/10

NeoWanZaeed: Harddiskng:I am talking from half |
NeoWanZaeed:You forget Akaza is a upper ranked demon, and decapitating his head was no sure fire way of eliminating him as he might actually regenerate!, So Rengoku trying to cut his head, was him stalling for the sunlight to come..as far as i have watched now, sunlight and decapitation by Nichirin blade is the only sure fire way to off an upper ranked demon. Akaza was really just toying with Rengoku in hindsight, all through the fight, and he only stepped up the gear, when he saw the sunlight coming..
|
NeoWanZaeed:Won what exactly? and most importantly how??.. The best Rengoku was doing was stalling till sunlight, throwing every technique he could muster against Akaza, whilst making sure Tanjiro and the others don't die. He had zero chance in hell of winning that fight...He was already tiring out, why Akaza was just regenerating like it's nothing...the only weak point imo, was sunlight, and soon as it was almost sun rise, bro duly bounced. |
NeoWanZaeed:Akaza!! Mann...Upper three demon bastárd! 😭😩. Akaza: Become A demon and fight me forever Rengoku: No Akaza proceeds to beat brother Rengoku to pulp.. Same Akaza:... Don't die on me! 😅😭 Insane exchange here ngl 🤣, and i immediately went on YT to add the fight to my playlist....just peak stuff! 👏🏿👏🏿

Demon Slayer Season 2 (Mugen Train Arc + Entertainment District Arc). "Tanjiro Created This One-In-a-Million Chance!" After the high I got off S1 and with the buzz of the Infinity Castle movie still in the air, I immediately carved out time to see this, and oh my days, this is what peak looks like! The season was split into two parts. Episodes 1 to 7 covered the Mugen Train Arc, where Tanjiro and the gang teamed up with a Hashira to defeat a demon on a train. Since all the groundwork had been laid in S1, this arc picked up pace quickly, culminating in an emotionally loaded finale. Episodes 8 to 18 tackled the Entertainment District Arc. Tanjiro and the gang once again joined forces with another Hashira to face off against Upper Six demons in the “Entertainment District” which is just a fancy name for a "red-light district"😬😅. And good lord, this might actually be the best piece of anime I’ve seen in a long while, no cap 😭😭. The buildup was slow, but the catharsis at the end was beautiful. The character development was off the charts, especially for Zenitsu and i like where they are headed with his story. There’s a stretch of episodes (12 to 17) that’s, basically a heavy shot of pure adrenaline, insanely good edge of your seat stuff. I immediately went to IMDb to check the ratings, and unsurprisingly, the average was 9.5/10! 😩😩. Yeah, I’m a believer. This is a legit threat to "the Big 3", but let me continue fess... An unequivocal 9/10.!

abduleez1:You too sabi me bossman 👀🤭.... I'm already there jorrr. "The Butcher of Plainfield" uno.....Ed Gein is like an all timer serial killer profile and I can't wait to see this 💥 |
abduleez1:Yeah...I need HBO back to making bangers...they do know how to make proper tv. Oh, ICE is the immigration arm of the United States, and since Trump came in, in Jan. They have been real busy deporting perceived illegal immigrants and whatnots, that the left think it's unconstitutional and callous, so her dig was at that. |
abduleez1:The Emmys has sort of hit a plateau in the last few years and it is largely due to HBO scaling back on giving us Sunday Night Bangers!. It's been long they had a long running show, returning for more than 2 seasons like they had with GOT and Succession. At the height of it, on a particular Emmy Night, HBO will pack so many awards, and leave scraps for other networks. Sometimes they had cast members from the same show, fighting it out in the same cate!. Now it's open season for every other network, and there are little excitement.... little surprises as at you could easily tell overwhelming fave shows that will carry the night, because quite frankly they aren't competing with a whole lot of quality tbf. Just like Shōgun last year, you could easily tell that "Adolescence" was going to probably be the one to beat this year. So last night went according to how it was supposed to tbh, the most exciting thing that happened was Hannah Einbinder screaming "free Palestine" out of the blue 😩 So if you aren't particularly religious to see the shows that won this year, i can tell you, you'd be fine, but see "The Pitt" tho lol. |
abduleez1:Naahhh... They left it on the Comedy Cat, but like you said "The Studio" and "Hacks" were far too strong, seems Jeremy Allen White knew the jig was up and he skipped the Award Ceremony last night to go to a Wedding 😂... And Tbf "The Bear" S3 wasn't really as strong as the ones before it, but we are back next year 🤭 |
abduleez1:Plus...They clocked "The Bear"'s comedy category gimmick this year fgs 😂😭😭. Zero Awards for my beloved show, and the Emmys were like,"go slug it out in the Drama cat" 😩😩 |
abduleez1:The only reason I have still not seen this, is because it is "Seth Rogen", can't stand this gringo tbh 😩😩 |
Nickshrapnel:lol "Mugen Train" arc was a still the formative years of the show, but this "Infinity castle" arc is like the beginning of the end of the show, and i feel rushing to see it, might ruin the experience for me... Best i can do know, is to hurry up my watch the prior arcs before this 😢😩 |
abduleez1:You should!... I was already getting bored of the formulaic way most med show go, but the format of this was so endearing with some great acting on display. Special... Special show 🎉 |
Highest 2 Lowest (2025) Lowest 2 Lowest 🚮🗑️. I was trying to post a review of this earlier, and Antyspamy clamped me cuz mann i was raging 😩😩. This has got to be the most disappointing watch so far for me this year. It was packing heavyweights on it and yet delivered so little. The storyline is just so silly, and i couldn't even explain without looking like a doofus, it looked nothing like the masterpiece it was adapted from. Apart from Denzel Washington, the other cast were having a mid off, like it was some of the most distasteful acting i have seen in a while, like those you'd see on those Tyler Perry slops he dumps on BET. I mean, i say Ice Spice and Asap Rocky on the cast and i immediately knew they weren't serious. such a garbage media....🗑️ 4/10
