discusant: Tinubu declaring to have Atiku as successor to PMB - that’s what it implies when Tinubu declares; thus Tinubu going for NADECO 11.
We were not blind in 1998 when we acquiesced to 2 Yoruba taking the presidential tickets of the two largest political parties so that a Yorubas would emerge as president due to ZONING; when Alex Ekwueme with his G33 formed PDP after convincing Arewa to relinquish power to civilians. The year 2023 is the turn of the SE to succeed PMB. The SE can not succeed Buhari in 2023 by demanding for the presidency online. Tinubu is not stopping any S/East candidate from contesting the election. Live and let's live sir. |

BlackBaron: The calibre of people running for elective positions in this country. Grand thieving corrupt and not to mention subverting institutions (with his cronies) for he and his family's good. But Prof Kingsley Moghalu and Yul Edochie are competent, handsome and non-corrupt youths, so start supporting them. You can also support Yahyah Bello if you prefer strong young politicians. |

kereman1: If Tinubu eventually becomes the presidential flag bearer for Apc in 2023, then pdp will project a prominent northerner and believe me, Tinubu cannot win against a northerner, the election will be between the sw and north, the SE and SS knowing then have been condemn need to become president will just relax and watch drama unfold.
Tinubu can never be president, there are too many controversies surrounding that name.
Don't qoute me, to spill gibberish. Let Tinubu/APC worry about that. |

The present Borno State Governor is excellent, Osibanjo is beautiful choice, Peter Obi will make a wonderful President and even Udom Emmanuel the present Akwa Ibom Governor is good. Why can't the youths think straight we form the greater population of this country. And they are to a large extent detribalised. This is Democracy ma. Nobody is saying these fine Politicians should not contest, so why trying to say Tinubu should not contest? Support your candidate and leave Tinubu alone. |

Boko Haram is fighting to institute a Caliphate with the Shari'ah laws as the ultimate rule and you are trying to say it's not a religious matter. |

leadzeal: This is the right thing to do... I wonder why a reasonable government will shift its rememberance day so as to reflect the day they defected their enemies, and these enemies are then absorbed to form an entity called a country. Now tell me the logic:
The Victor see the day as a day of triumph over her enemy
On the other hand, the defeated see this same day as a day of sorrow where their secession dream was defeated.
I wonder who brought up the idea of moving the day from 11 Nov to 15 Jan? The Armed Forces Remembrance Day also remember Nigerian soldiers who died fighting on Biafran side. It's the appropriate date set aside to remember all those who died in the war and all other Military operations to keep the country safe. |

22brains: thanks. It seems the portion she gave me is gradually fading off. No wonder a problem shared is half sovled. She didn't give you any love portion. This is a classical case of seduction. 1) She has been seeing men from her tender age and thus more experienced than you in Man-Women affairs. 2) She understands that you are not yet spoilt and possibly have a soft heart. 3) She is giving you superb sex and attention which will make you to always think of her and not explore the possibility of having other women. 4) I seriously doubt that both of you have the mental maturity and economic powers to maintain a home. 5) A 20 yrs old lady without a good certificate, income generating skills and especially with a five year old son will soon start irritating you in the marriage because with time, sex will be too common and not enough to cover other inadequacies. This will be causing frequent fights and she will be finding solace in other men (a path she has known for long). |

Nchenches: Igbos now are not campaigning for Atiku to succeed Buhari.
But if Yoruba takes APC presidential ticket, instead of Igbo, it’s likely that Igbos will support Atiku because of Yoruba slight on Igbo.
The slight:
OBJ, a Yoruba, presided over Nigeria for 8 years through votes of Igbo and north in 1999. Yoruba did not vote OBJ in 1999, but Yoruba massively voted OBJ in 2003, and even threatened to pull out of Nigeria if OBJ was denied 2nd term.
Therefore, it’s a huge slight and insult on the Igbo if Yoruba does not support Igbo to succeed PMB. Bros, leave please support whoever you want to support and leave the Yorubas out of it sir. Live and let's live |

Yebosola: Nothing serious, he is talking about Lagos island ONLY, not Lagos as a whole, get your facts right. Even at that, this is misleading. It's just the Royalty and some chieftaincy families like Eletu- Odibo that came from Bini. The rest of the people of Isale-Eko were of Awori Origin. The Binis were a colonial power in Lagos and not the founder or the earliest settlers of Lagos. |

tunapawizzy: I do not know. I just know there are rumours that the governors of those states are not loyal to Tinubu and now the assembly speakers of those states are d only ones(among the APC-controlled SW states) not present at this important meeting. I feel this cannot be a mere coincidence What you feel is not important in the ways the flagbearer of the APC will emerge. In a democracy, there's freedom to support or not support a particular candidate. Tinubu running for the presidency is a plus for the advancement of democratic culture in Nigeria. |

Nchenches: The true enemies of Nigeria are those who witnessed in 1999 how two Yorubas were placed on the tickets of the two largest political parties for a Yoruba to emerge president via zoning, yet now that it’s the turn of Igbo presidency, they gather in support for Tinubu for president after PMB. Please place two Igbos on the tickets of the two largest political parties and leave Tinubu alone. This honestly is what I expect you to do, however you are rooting for Atiku. Igbos are in the forefront of Atiku Campaign and at the same time insisting that 1) It is the turn of the Igbos 2) Tinubu or any Yoruba Candidate must not contest. This is most laughable. |

I'm a yoruba guy, most of us don't like him as well If Tinubu wins APC ticket, he will win the presidential election. All this sycophants that have eaten Lagos yam.. and knowing too well that Tinubu is going nowhere.. but to make noise so that Oga Tinubu will see and know that the made noise on this day... Yoruba know how to play politics of deception.. in they love to deceive themselves... Tinubu has been parading himself all over the country with so much noise .. from the Yoruba nation.. yet none other tribe in Nigeria have join this noise What matters after all this Yoruba noise / Tinubu is that no matter as it goes... Tinubu and osibanjo must contest Apc primaries...
Tinubu must not step down Tinubu must not give excuses whatsoever as reason not to contest Tinubu must contest primaries.... osibanjo must contest primaries
If Tinubu step down or give excuses.. it means the entire Yoruba tribe are cowards crowns and imps ... and must not be taken serious like IBB rightly said.and should be seen as humans never to trust.
I pray we all live to see 2023... Yoruba just don’t know. What is coming..

viyon02: yeah you are right, but what I know is that whatever a man sole he shall reap, let wait and see if Tinubu will be the next president. Awolowo and mko had a better chance than him but they lost it all. Let wait and see. You see, presidents emerged by God's permission and nobody gets to become President unless if it's part of his/her destiny. Only those who are preordained to be leaders of Nations eventually become such. If it's part of Tinubu's destiny, he will become president. This doesn't mean he is a perfect or even a good man but it only mean it's part of a divine arrangements. |
