GrandFinale2017:obaseki and okowa of delta state who fine pass? |
E don tey when ''play play'' start ![]() |
The only Nokia phones I recognise and respect are the''Finland made'' ones. Tested and trusted!!! |
I suspect that the 1gig/1.5gig they were offering before for N1000 has been reduced to 500mb all because they were prevented from increasing data prices. If u call their customer care, they will always give u untrue reasons why it got exhausted. |
I thought they said it was ''obama'' that helped buhari to win? No matter the work u do in an election, the final decision rests with the electorate. Ask Hillary Clinton and she will tell u about ''people power'' |
Chairman senate observation committee! Well-done! |
realnas:this has always been my thought about the whole issue. U spoke my mind. He is simply an ''agbaya'' |
Welcome back.....prodigal daddy ![]() |
longjohnsilver:why it never happens in the uae and saudi arabia is very simple. MONEY and INVESTMENTS!!!. These two emirates have enough money to finance their security personnel unlike a very poor somali. The USA and other European countries also have many investments there, especially oil companies,so these countries won't wait and fold their hands while the security situation goes out of control as it is in somalia. |
They all waited and watched while Rochas perpetuated this taboo without doing anything. That is why I always say that even if u divide this country,we will still be the problem of ourselves. Is Rochas a yoruba, hausa or edo man? He is pure Igbo!! Not even a protest or rally against it,nobody took a bullet to protest his disagreement. We not only need new laeders,we also need new people or followership in Nigeria!!! |
Tamass:do you know that even non christians share their opinions in christian issues because it is open to everybody? Try commenting on muslim threads on nairaland and see the procedure or beauracracy u will go through! |
Another joke again! Why is he adding core ''northern Nigerians'' as part of the ''biafran govt? This is how confusion begins and they lure innocent and hardworking igbos to fight their battles while they and their family disappear even before any battle begins! |
How I so much wish that this attention seeker will have the courage to say the same thing about imams and alphas!!! Or is it a sign of cowardice? |
We have almost come to a point where the number of deaths looks like an ordinary mathematical number. It is only when a loved one is a victim that we realise that those numbers represent human lives! RIp to the dead. |
There is a name in Benin language that says ''okuoimose'' meaning ''war isn't beautiful''. War is never an option because at the end,it is no victor,no vanguish. We must always preach and ensure peace at all times. |
Beautiful nonsense!!! |
She don chop belleful!!! Congrats! |
there is almost no company in the world that manufactures products 100%. Each manufacturing company receives parts from at least 10 countries in the world. Apple for example, receives parts from south korea, canada, india, china, usa etc and assemble all the parts into products. What we should focus on is putting our country in the supply chain of the parts or components. If we are making the best tyres in the world, these companies will search for our products. If it is steel,or any other products they will also come but our govt whether Apc or Pdp is only interested in making here a dumping ground for other countries. |

Dedetwo:I am ashamed of what u just wrote. I am a Niger-deltan. Some of us in Niger-delta are so jealous and concerned with what other regions are receiving and became blind to what our leaders are doing with our share of the allocations! Delta, akwa ibom, rivers and bayelsa received such huge allocations monthly but we are still undeveloped and living in poverty. Edo is even trying better than these states despite receiving smaller allocations. |
Whether in power or out of power,it all comes down to the painful truth that Apc and Pdp are one and the same and they exhibit the same traits. The only difference is the extent of reaction of the Nigerian populace. They react more when the president isn't from the same ethnic group/religion and feel indifferent and unconcerned when of the same ethnic group/religion. |
proudlyYoruba:the chances of nonsense celebrity news making front page nowadays is far higher than that of informative and educative thread. Nairaland is fast derailing and the earlier seun realises this the better. |
Investnow2017:chaiiiiii. I even miscalculated! Imagine just one benjamin frankling bill equivalent to N36,500 . Our Naira is in coma ![]() |
There was already a thread on this with 19,000 views,99 posts that didn't make front page since yesterday. Why is this making front page with less posts and views? Politics and corruption everywhere and we are the first to blame govt. |
Story time!!! |
Marriages were lasting almost to eternity when our parents were calling themselves papa osas, papa ik,mama uche, mama ahmed and many others. Now that we invented ''lovely and sweet'' names, most marriages dont last more than a few years! It isn't all about the name though it is lovely. It is about a decision made by two hearts,to beat as one,no matter the situation! |
Our political structure in Nigeria makes it almost impossible for the right candidates and youths to win major political parties primary elections. You can only find this set of people in ''jamb political parties'' where they will get ''jamb scores'' not enough to win elections.Nigerian political parties are only interested in candidates that can win elections irrespective of whether they can do the job or not. The electorate must look beyond these major political parties whose candidates' objectives are parties' private interests. A weak or faulty political system or structure can only produce weak and bad political leaders and by extension bad govt. Youths are taking over govts in many countries today. Nigeria shouldn't be an exception if they are capable. |
Other countries are migrating to digital ways of doing things but Nigeria is still struggling to achieve analogue success. It is obvious that the morroccan train system is eco friendly unlike the coal powered ones we still have here. The cost of this project would have been times two in cost if it was done in Nigeria even if it is smaller in coverage in Nigeria. |
NwaAmaikpe:welcome back. Sin no more ![]() |
iswallker:yes I agree with u but Nigeria @57 isn't a young country anymore! Other countries not as old and endowered like Nigeria are achieving it. It is jusya matter of leadership and will-power. |
