What did he steal? I don't like people being beaten or disgraced for stealing FOOD. Hunger can cause any irrational action. Any beating or disgrace associated with stealing,apart from food stealing, is welcomed. I will reserve my comment until op tells us what he stole.

No matter what language or means used to explain,the fact still remains that pmb,minister of interior,chief of staff,dss,minister of justice and attorney general,police,efcc,head of service,immigration service,borno state govt are aware that maina,a wanted criminal,was around,they are all complicit,culpable and are part of the operation. In civilised countries,this revelation would have led to massive resignation. People don't voluntarily resign in Nigeria. you are one of the problems we have in this country. Dont always politicise everything. Apc and Pdp are the same thing and we must learn to be objective in our analysis of issues. Pdp fixed the present minimum wage,nysc allowance and amnesty payments. Apc continued with them despite the anomaly that is in them. These parties do what works for their private objectives and interests and not for the people.

Even if he is sacked and replaced,his replacement will be somebody loyal and of the same mentality with him thereby nullifying the reason for his replacement/sack! The case of the new SGF is a typical example.

The problems we have in governance today are mostly as a result of the failure of the legislature and judiciary to properly carry out their check and balance functions on the executives and other institutions.
