Family / Re: What Should I Do? My Husband Said Our Marriage Is Over-Pls Advise by ozonechrome: 4:13am On Jun 20, 2021
A lot of men do not understand what it means to be head of a house. They think head is rulership just as Buhari thinks. They do not understand that headship is service.

As a husband God has called to you to serve that is why there is so much issues and misunderstanding in marriages. Why keep malice when your wife offends you instead of communicating with her things she says that upsets you and how you'll prefer she communicates her frustrations.

Calling people names when upset is absolutely a no no. We need to learn how to communicate effectively and keep our pride at the door when it comes to relationship.

All the problems here has do with poor communication and ego on both parts.

You both need to seek wisdom on how to solve your problems. This is not worth a divorce as the second partner won't be any better if you both do not fix yourself.

It's just like Buhari changing from APC to PDP. Same person. He won't do anything differently.

Just travel with her yo her family and hand her over to her parents

Go and have some rest, after that, request for your bride price and move on, even if they refuse to return it, just move on

They will return it

In marriage some issues like this are easy fix. Not everything should end in divorce.

My brother I know my wife is my responsibility. But d issue now is that she is making money. She has like 250k saving In her account. Her shop rent is just 90k. And she wants me to pay it. D money she is making, is it ordinary paper. The issue is that ladies of this generation is different from our mum. I live in well furnished two bedroom apartment, paid by me. People are passing my wife shop seeing d level of customer going in and out, d think she is contributing to d family. Is better I marry a girl that is not doing anything that will be submissive to me. I noticed d little money she is making is entering her head.

This "ladies of this generation are not like our mothers" is becoming tiring.

Why are you hiding your salary from someone you are supposed to be building with?

What's with that? I tell my friends my salary why not my spouse that's my teammate so that we can plan accordingly.

Now you are getting upset when you already laid a foundation of secrecy, mistrust and alpha male attitude.

Sit her down, tell her how much you earn have a joint account if possible. Share your responsibilities.
Don't understand how people in marriage keep saying my money her money. It should be our money.

Family / Re: Men, You Must Take Care Of The Baby Even If DNA Confirms The baby Is Not Yours by ozonechrome: 10:16pm On Jan 02, 2021
Feminism is the beginning of the end of marriages.

Men and women are not same and can never be.

In God's design of marriage, a woman is under a man so when she steps out she has her husband to answer to. A man is not under a woman but under God so he has to answer to God when he misbehaves.

Because men cheat doesn't mean women should.

A man cheating is not justified but a woman cheating is an abomination.
Young ladies don't let SM fool you. In the days of old a woman is killed for cheating.

It is an abomination for a woman to step out of her marriage. Stop teaching young ladies rubbish in the name of equality with men we are not same with men and can never be.

I even acknowledged my mistakes, the issue of visa is neither her fault nor mine

I don't have to read it to hear from her.

What has the money for upkeep and rent you pay got to do with her actually deciding she's had enough of your threat to leave her and has realized she may be better off without you afterall got to do with anything.

You want the little boys here to bash her and ask you to leave her or the ladies to think you are such a good catch because of how much you claim you spend on your family?

Why don't we hear from her.

You've painted yourself like an angel.

Someone that has visted you once why would they deny her visa a second time?

You always threaten her with breakups and also body shame her. Seems like a toxic relationship to me.

You need to dream bigger than your current situation.

That role may not earn up to 200k monthly.

I earned far more than that but still migrated. Some of my friends here were earning between 1m and 1.5M monthly in Nigeria and still migrated.

Was it worth it damn yes.

Open your mind. The world has a lot to offer. Don't limit yourself. You can be as big as your dreams why not dream very big?? And it's free to dream smiley

Women are approached all the time. The question is are the guys worth your time and are they looking for same thing you are looking for.

Meeting men that are not worth your time happens at home too not just abroad.

And she's very correct as long as you are approachable you'll always be approached.

I smile and say hello to all Africans male or female. The guys smile back and respond but some ladies find it difficult to return the hello coming from a lady like them.

XhosaNostra:
I'd say you're a narcissist, but you're self aware. People like you usually have deep-seated abandonment issues or suffer from fear of rejection. You only skim the surface when it comes to emotions, so noone can get close enough to inflict any sort of pain. Get them before they get you type of thing. Underneath the seemingly uncaring facade, there's actually an extremely sensitive person that's scared to death of getting hurt, so they put up all these defences to protect their mushy core. Something like a human crustacean cheesy One person will manage to break down your walls though, mark my words. But it'll only take one person. It won't be easy sailing. There'll be a lot of vacillation between enmeshment & suffocation on your part. Good luck to the poor girl smiley

No one breaks narcissist.

He may have some narcissistic tendency but I think he has more issues than that.

Narcissist are rarely self aware.
They love to be in a relationship as they can't be alone hence they more than one relationship at a time becaus they need backup and can't be alone as someone has to massage their ego.

They are serial cheats. They don't have sex and leave. They only discard when they've seen a new supply.

This guy has more issues than narcissist do.

May God spare women from devil's like these people.

Nairaland is becoming a huge joke and it was not like this at the begining. The failure of Seun in checkmating the excesses of some persons has turned the platform to a medium for breeding hatred. I wouldn't say this is intentional but allowing all sort of comments to pass through reading on this platform tend to raise suspicion. This is how Rwanda crisis started, except we have all agreed to pull the country down and rebuilt it from the dust of carnages.

I never knew such hatred existed until I joined this forum.

Two, the white guys don't really find them attractive. Some asian men do though. Some Nigerian men also do. But because most Nigerian guys are not stable (i..e they are still working survival jobs), they are not ready to marry.
Trust me , these Nigerian girls are in serious dilemma.

Again, if you are a Nigerian girl thinking of immigrating to Canada. Think twice about it. Be sure that's what you really want.

You noticed all this but didn't notice at middle age a high percentage of men that married foreign ladies get divorced and start looking for African women that will retire with them.

A man that's comfortable to see my own child being unhappy is not for me.

Personally I would have left him because no one comes between I and my kids.

Or worse still bring my child home without his consent and let heaven fall after all you are contributing 70% to the running of the home.

Best still take him to a boarding school. He'll be happier there.

PLS PEOPLE I'M WRITING FOR GENUINE ADVISE.
I'm a medical doctor 30 years of age. Had my MBBS degree 2015 from Russia, I've completed my internship and Nysc and have 1 year post Nysc work experience.
Now I want to relocate to Australia to do Masters, so what I'd like to ask is;
1) what's d best career path for me? Cos I'm aware becoming an Australia licensed doctor is quite difficult.
2) Which Masters program should I do in a medical related field which is in high demand so when I'm thru I can easily get a job?
3) If I opt for Masters in nursing would I be eligible to be registered into the Australia nursing council after completion of the program cos I know nurses are highly sorted after in Australia.
4) Which part of Australia would I have THE MOST job opportunities in the health sector.

NB: I thought of applying for PR but one of the criterias for Doctors is to pass the AMC exam which is time consuming.

PLS HELP A CONFUSED MIND.

Hoping to hear you guys response soonest.

Thanks Dr Collins.

You can study masters in Nursing in a regional university so that you can apply for PR with Nursing.

You'll always find a job in Australia.

When you get the PR you can write your medical examination to practice as a doctor
