I'm gradually beginning to find my feet here...
Also, my wife's family are all based here....
She doesn't want to return to 9ja and I can't leave her and my kids...
Hope you understand why I can't relocate back to 9ja even if I want to

You just said you are gradually beginning to find your feet and that's what follows for every immigrant.

It's always hard at first and it's expected but it gets much better over time when you find your feet.

Please stop telling people lies that people abroad don't have it better than back it.

It's like comparing hell and heaven.

@BlackfyreRebell has the Son's father providing child support and upkeep before this recent travel plan? Since the child is 10 years old. Has he been providing regular support for the last 10 years? If yes, you can allow the child to go but with a well spelt out plan of how to communicate with the child and how the child will visit you or you visit him. This plan should be endorsed by a court of law or lawyer.

If he has not been regularly providing child support for the last 10 years, I advise not sending the child across. Let him also work on court or lawyer process on how to get across to his child. This process will give you the chance to claim all the support cost for the last 10 years.

Regards.

Nigeria is not a signatory to the hague convention.

They are unable to enforce it.

As soon as the child leaves that's the end unless the man is sincere.

I'm a single 39yr old Nigeria guy in diaspora trying to settle down and going to Nigeria to marry is not an option.

I'm an introvert who has been through some childhood trauma in my family and really fear marriage because of what I have seen and how bad it can be sometimes.

However, an old female friend and colleague of mine who we worked together in Nigeria and now in canada recently contacted me and she is also single and not had children. She is doing well for herself and now a citizen there while I'm not. A part of me is concerned about

1. Fertility : I desire children. However, can she have me healthy children @ 39. How many can she have? I discussed us trying for a child , she appears to want a.marriage first. But what gurantees do I have to have children.

Should I be concerned? I dont want to enter one chance.

AdeniyiA:

All these are affected most times by financial status. Women are naturally attracted to money. Infact, emotional attachment can even be stimulated when there's money, or suppressed when there's no money.

Advice: Make money smiley

This is not really true.

Emotional connection can be be build most times when there's no money because that's when men are most vulnerable.

It's harder when there's money.

This is why when money is not a problem for both people there's nothing else a man knows to give in the relationship because the woman doesn't need the money.

Never take advice from strangers. Most of the time they are reflecting their own short comings on you.

YourBestWriter:
So I mishandled some information and costed the hospital that I work in a lot of money. I took the responsibility, approached the managing director and told him I accept the responsibility and ready to pay the prices. Surprisingly, the director went straight to his computer and immediately told me to go, that my sins are forgiven.

But what could this mean? Did he really forgive me just like that? I have a bad feeling about the entire thing. I mean, he didn't even show his anger towards me, and he was straightforward.

Naturally this is what is supposed to happen.

It's being human. Making mistakes is not the problem but ability to know why you made them and learn from it.

I've made some mistakes that cost my company huge sums to customers.

I needed to do root cause analysis and show my manager what happened, how it happened, what I've done to make sure it doesn't happen again.

They always reimburse the customer. At that point they understand there is a system lapse and work on how to mitigate it as well.

The problem is if you keep making same mistakes.

Over time I've saved more money for my company than they lost.

It's not your responsibility to pay for anything.

The company has a system lapse that allowed that mistake to happen too. Let it go and learn from it.

Car Talk / Re: How To Use The Recirculate Button In Your Vehicle by ozonechrome: 10:21pm On Jun 27, 2023
Nazgul:
I know about this feature. And I'll advice you not to use it frequently when you eventually locate it on your car, cos using it for long distances if your car is filled up can result in a decrease in air quality cos the air keeps circulating, none is going outside. I'd still prefer the normal mode where fresh air from outside can enter the cabin.

For me I'd say it's best if maybe you're driving through a smoky environment, or maybe shit people are parking shit and you driving through them and don't want to inhale their shit, you can switch to the recirculation mode so that air from outside doesn't come in, then switch back once you move past them.

I think it's best to use it anytime your AC is on else you are just using air from outside and the AC will not cool inside.

Australian weather is the best weather. Its not too cold but can be too hot.
It doesn't snow in Australia.

Nigeria is too humid and all year hot.

They will bury themselves and here are my reasons...

1) Tinubu's votes in Imo state were from polling units and wards in Orlu zone where elections never happened. And those results were delivered to Osita Izunaso of APC with the help of Hope Uzodimma and he was declared to win Orlu zone, that's Imo West with a landslide.

2) Obi's votes in Abia alone were close to 800k, my very own elder brother based in Aba, have facts and figures. He was away from his family for 3 days and monitored the whole process. Obi's votes were drastically resuced from Abia, Ebonyi and Imo States...

3) Emeka Ihedioha of PDP said on National TV that Labour party cleared Imo State convincingly. That he wanted PDP to win, but when labour party cleared the whole Imo State, that he personally accepted the results. But the results were tampered with against Labour Party 🤣🤣

You know say dog wey want die, no fit hear the stench of feaces 😂😂

I have not had a miracle. I am hoping on Him to turn the situation in my life to better.
My work and financial life has always been in shambles.

I can hardly make any sense of it all. If my life could change, that'll be a miracle for me

Your post reminds me of matt 8:2 where the man said lord if you willing you can heal me. Jesus responded "If I'm willing??" .

You need to believe he can and thank him that he has.

I've had so many miracles in my life. So many.

Recently my Permanent residence was cancelled for some issues with my ex. God restored my residence which only he could do.

Lawyers told me my case wasn't winnable I should seek asylum but I know the God I serve and trusted him.

Now I'm applying for my citizenship. It was a tough time in my life but I knew he could do it and he did.

Trust him with that situation.

God gave me a job when they said I wasn't qualified when i first migrated. It's been the perfect job for me.

It may seem impossible but remember that's when he shows himself best so he can glorify himself.

He makes all things beautiful in his time.

God can! God will! Trust him.

Sisib15:
Hello nairaland, So i met this man three years ago, we started talking and he told me that he's divorced, at first he doesn't want to disclose it to me that he has married before , i discovered through my search on Facebook and he said his wife packed out of his house and he has tried all means to beg her to come back but she insisted that she's not coming back even her pastor informed him to move on and he has moved on and they were married for 5 years without a child.
Then he asked me out and we started dating in which we have been together for two years now, my problem is what ever i do for this man he never appreciate it, he's always complaining to an extent that i feel that he's still much interested in his previous wife. I started staying in his house because his house is very close to my work place and i started seeing alot of things that i don't like especially he like measuring me up with his wife standard whatever I do to him i don't do it well like i don't know how to dress, i don't know how to eat, i don't know how to cook and he likes judging and always wanting to correct me. I love him so much but i don't know if i can continue with this. If i cook, i don't know how to cook, if people should hurt me outside and i told him he will judge me first before listening, at times he says some demeaning things to me and tell me that he's joking with me. At times, i feel that he's pretending, recently i told him that he needs to see a therapist.
My problem now is that he's asking me for marriage, i don't know if i should accept or i should stop the relationship, i am really confuse!
He's 40 years old and i'm 28 years old.

Run like crazy.

Would have left immediately I found he was married previously and lied about it.

Don't make the mistake of your life getting married to him.
