NaijaNaWaa: Public Servants are all those who work in the public/government sector whether elected, appointed or employed. Civil Servants are those who are employed in the public sector usually on a permanent and pensionable basis through the civil service commission.Well if what u're saying from ur definition of public servants is true, then no wahala. However, will the white paper of the commitee be implemented when released ? |
Pres GEJ should Asap send the over 50 bills he wanted/promised to send last year to the NASS. I was told dat true federalism bill is also among the bills for constitutional amendment. Its of great importance now moreover SW,SS & SE want it. My fear is that because money is involved, Middle belt has joined the core North again. This will show you the kind of ppl we call leaders and how politically savvy the Core North are. Have you guys noticed what's happening now, these guys are gettin ready for 2015 elections. GEJ and Govs of Oil producing states should ensure that Middlebelt Leaders, Governors, Legislators( Federal &state) vote for true federalism(Resource Control). Even if it means money exchanging hands or states then let it be. I strongly believe that Resource control and State Police'll go a Long way in helping us grow as a united nation. |
kay-1one:Spot On!!! My solution 2 dis Boko Haram menace is simple. Send 10-20 youngmen and women on a 6 months course 2 isreal, Train dem on hw 2 execute VIP's. After dey've finished, send dem 2 Somalia for a month Industrial Training (IT). When dey get back 2 9ja, Give dem d list of suspected sponsors and tell dem dat dey have 3months to complete dia assignment. Seriously, we nid divine intervention |
lacasa: My qtn is, how them find out say na FULANI HERDSMEN?vDude u correct |
"GWVSA would only provide platforms, security boats, equipment and expertise to help in securing the nation’s waterway" My question's won't these ex-militants use dis opportunity to import & stockpile arms and ammunitions? Nigeria's getting scary by d day |
Even if we're to protest, who'll lead d protest? D masses have lost faith in NLC/TUC. Tunde Bakare led SNG don't have d moral right to protest cos CPC members are also beneficiaries of d devilish act. This have alsoshown dat we lack morally right brave Leadership from our community level to National level. We all know dat demonstration alone can't force d Politicians 2 reduce dia emoluments. Except NLC//TUC and other civil society gruops (SNG inclusive) shutsdown oil wells & everybody moving 2 NASS 2 occupy dat place, |
I miss Enugu. I'm praying and walking towards starting a bizness in Enugu and leaving Lagos for good. That town's lovely. |
@ Reference, spot on. I remember watching Channels TV few years ago, when the invited guest quoted Ali modu Sheriff (ex-governor borno and the reason we've boko haram) as saying "I don't care What Lagos based newspapers are saying about me afterall 80% of borno citizens can't read". For pete's sake he was proud saying it. However, I think that a literate north will do 9ja much good and ofcourse I agree with the Op our population's an advantage. |
I believe its abit early for that. I know that GEJ'll perform. We may start seeing the effects by 2014. This administration have the highest number of technocrats we've had in recent time. I believe that they'll perform. However, is it not possible to have more seaport(s) that can accept/contain large vessels in Nigeria? Just as we're praying and asking that Abuja powers be reduced, so am I praying that other seaports be developed for lagos population to reduce and other states'll develop. Traffic hold up is driving people insane here. Afterall, GEJ promised to build more seaports in AKS,Calabar,Warri, etc. Biko the Governors of the affected states should put pressure on him. |
