RomanceRe: Why Do Men Have To Work Their Socks Off For Women? by Ozonna(m): 11:16am On Jun 14, 2012
In traditional Igbo setting, husbands call dia wives ORIAKU (Wealth eater) meaning women r supposed to just gve birth 2 Children,do household chores, cook and atmost remove unwanted weeds from d farm While d husbands goes 2 hunt, farm, palmwine tapping, etc. So we shouldn't complain. However,we'll really appreciate a hardworking lady dat earns her own money and helps in reducing her husband's load (A HELPMATE)
Christianity EtcRe: Can Nigeria Be Better Off, If Our Leaders Swears By Our Ancient Deities by Ozonna(m): 7:58pm On Jun 12, 2012
Tusky44: There is a better alternative and i have suggested it to sahara reporters and others. Every last day of the month, we make a video on youtube in which we say very nasty and nerving prayers for Nigerian politicians. This video is uploaded to the online media outlets for all to view and reply with a big "Amen". The prayer can go like this; "Father in the name of Jesus! you see Obasanjo and his children, David Mark and his children, Honorable Hembe and his wife, the entire generation of Orji Uzor Kalu and Odili, Atiku's health and wealth, IBB's brain cells, Tinubu's concubines and step children along with his first son, etc....BEGIN TO FIRE!!!!

I don't want to complete the prayer here but men trust me these politicians would have sleepless nights cos it would be hard for them to differentiate between coincidence and reality. undecided
LMAO.
PoliticsRe: If My Father Steals I Will Jail Him. by Ozonna(m): 12:33am On Jun 11, 2012
Jail my Dad? NEVER!!! Remember that after 8yrs(9ja standard) I'll go back home, how will my immediate family receive me? My mother will be visiting my Dad @ d prison evry visiting day. Then he may now die in prison. Infact,my Umunna (Kinsmen)will disown me. I may end up being alone for the rest of my life.We shouldn't forget that once a politician leaves office, his friends abandons him immediately making him to fall back on his immediate family and kinsmen.

I'll rather ask God for Forgiveness, ask electorates to forgive me,resign and kindly rush back to the warm embrace of my Family,Umunnam and wellwishers. If you do this, Nigerians will adore you more than the way South Africans adore Mandela

This year seems like a year of Underdogs outperfoming the top dogs. Examples are Zambia wining d Nations cup, Chelsea winning Champions league, etc. So I won't be surprised if a team dat has already been written off wins dis championship

A PH resident just gave credence to d Onne zone story. Jobs r certainly being created.
PoliticsRe: FG Created 1.4 Million Jobs In 12 Months – Aganga by Ozonna(m): 10:42am On Jun 08, 2012
I believe the question we should be asking is, How much are they being paid as salary? The majority of the 1.4m employees may not earn above N10,000 per month because they are working in "One Man Business" companies. Let's not blame the minister who's dealing with figures/statistics given to by parastatals under his ministry.

PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Suicide Attacker John Akpabu Arrested At Radio House Abuja by Ozonna(m): 8:39am On May 22, 2012
Spirit of Okija: There is nothing fishy!!

He isnt a Terrorist.. He said it himself and it has been confirmed..

What he was holding werent frag grenadesbut rather teargas grenades (which are non-lethal).. He was also in possesion of some live rounds of ammunition but no guns.. When he was being harrassed by the Journalists, he said he was only returning these items which he found in his late brothers possession and was returning it to the Minister of Information (Laraban Maku) who also happens to be his kinsman.. He said he didnt take them to the police for fear of being labelled a criminal and arrested and molested so he though to bring it in live and hand it over to the minister (who he just so happened to hear over the radio would be at the venue) and also discuss the issue of his brothers allowances and benefits that are being owed to him by the Government..

Lessons from this issue;

1. The Nigerian Police Force does not keep accurate records of arms and ammunitions that they give out to Police officers.

2. The Nigerian journalists are very unprofessional and animalistic in their approach to their job. They already condemned the man before he was found guilty.

3. The Nigerian Police showed gross unprofessionalism on National T.V starting from the way the handled the evidence (one polic officer slung the bag containing what was at the time thought to be Frag grenages over his back) and also the way they handled the suspect like he was already found guilty..

4. The actions of this man goes to further prove that the society has lost confidence in the police and would rather die in silence than walk into a police station to report an incident..

5. The term suicide attacker should be called off and the Nigerian press should issue an apology to the man for labelling him thus..
You Sir commune with the spirits of Our Ancestors. Spot on!!!

Nonybb: look at an id/iot telling me he enjoys more road, electricity and co. Let me tell u stu/pid boy, nigerians dnt even knw that there was a country called ghana. Our priority is to compete with SA and nt some filthy slave camp. When ur hole economy compete with LAGOS then u can even think of tryin to match nigeria. Most of this ghanaians dont even knw how nigeria is structured, dats my pain. Have u been to PH, banana island, VI, akwa ibom,(i dnt want to mention the hole of lagos coz dat would be an unfair comparison knwing how small u ppl are, coz even the whole mobile subscriptions in nigeria is bigger than ur entire non entity country). Hv u been to enugu, kano, owerri or even asaba! Let me nt talk of ABUJA cos it can neva be a match to any ghana busy city. Its planned to the highest level so i talk about it to u fools. The hole nollywood film shot are done mainly in enugu so a greater percentage of nigeria actually is can neva be perceived by wat u see on ur TV screen. Nigeria is a country that inherited too many population but our infastructures are growing at a rapid rate. Lagos alone under fashola hv constructured more roads than the entire ghana and liberia hv built since there independence. Talk of electricity we generate close to 5000 mega watts but gas supply hampened full uttilization while ur bush like country generate only 1900mw of electricity which cant even be sufficient for lagos. Rem we can quit supplying ur bckward country gas cos when nigeria sneezes ghana freezes! Anytime u talk of ghana talk of lagos. They are two comparable places. In term of water ghana is no match coz water generation in ghana cant be sufficient for lagosians to flush there toilets. Health care facilities at NTH and national hospital ABUJA are no match and may nt be obtainable anywhere in ghana! So shut up fool!
Are you sure about the 1900MW?.I think they should be ignored they just want to fight. We should focus on our country more now. For those that maybe deported 2 Nigeria, there are still opportunities here they can exploit. God bless Nigeria

lacasa: what goes around comes around.

what D youths R aggrieved abt is D̶̲̥̅̊aτ̲̅ jega in 2011 eelections Declared some unbelievable results even in areas where peoople were outright buhari supporters eg. Kano, katsina, nassarawa, gombe, kaduna, sokoto etc

GEJ was given d needed 25% in all this states D̶̲̥̅̊aτ̲̅ were pro buhari states aπϑ then in the south GEJ was churning up 99% of all votes with 95% turnout, in some places 99% sef. Haba? Even in elections in developed nations D̶̲̥̅̊aτ̲̅ is unrealistic

i dnt pity Jega cos he was naïve τ̅o accept such returns from his state commissioners instead of holding bak those lookong suspect n organising fresh ones where necessary
So are you saying that the xtians in states like Kano,Gombe,Kaduna and Nasarawa are not up to 25% of the voting population? Haba!!! We all know that there are huge xtian population who are indigenes of those states and GEJ won that election cos majority voted along Tribal and Religious lines. Please Sir get your facts right.
PoliticsRe: Jega, INEC boss, Escapes Mob Attack In Jigawa by Ozonna(m): 10:00am On May 20, 2012
publisher: 7 FACTS OF THE MATTER
1. Nigeria will never break up.
2. Buhari will never become President.
3. GEJ will run for second term and still WIN.
4. The Boko haram strategy backfired and helped solidify the division btw core North and Christian middle-belt.
5. 35 to 40% of the geographical North are Christians and they still love GEJ.
6. Most war mongers on Nairaland are frusrated human beings; Jamb failures, UK street sweepers or Illegal immigrants in Malaysia.
7. Most intelligent, successful, young Nigerian turks are firmly behind a united Nigeria.
Perfectly Summarized.
PoliticsRe: Jega, INEC boss, Escapes Mob Attack In Jigawa by Ozonna(m): 8:01am On May 20, 2012
ziccoit: Breaking up Nigeria would take more than 20yrs. This would not come so easy as series of wars would ensue that would bring Nigeria to dust. Many life would be lost. In fact, you people would be begging to stay together again by the time it all ends. You secessionists should understand what you are asking for.
Then what do you suggest we do? I don't suppoort splitting of Nigeria but as it is now, I think its th e only option. Cos if GEJ rigged the 2011 elections,I assure you he won't need to rig 2015 elections. He will win simply by using the art that the hausa-fulani mastered DIVIDE N RULE which OBJ/GEJ are using.

The Northern elites do not know Boko Haram and Fulani warrior herdsmen are not helping their case at all. Also statements attributed to Buhari,Ciroma and Lawan Kaita are too not helping.
PoliticsRe: 19 Northern Governors Defend Buhari's Comments by Ozonna(m): 2:25pm On May 18, 2012
alj harem: I wonder why he did not say that during OBJ second term ? Because he knows OBJ would not take that from him

So because GEJ who is now our president is gentle, people are saying rubbish. We better wake up and don't allow politicans be using us as their tools.

I can't imagine if Buhari had won and GEJ made the statement Buhari did, Would GEJ not be arrested by now ?

If we criticise, lets do it constructively. Buhari is not the president, GEJ is NOW our president and so lets use our brains here.

I wonder how the president is meant to concentrate when someone is making statements like " socked blood"

Abagworo: Sometimes I wonder how Abacha managed to achieve and steal a lot without borrowing and with crude oil selling below 10 dollar per barrel and daily output of around 1.5million barrel.
Simple. Fewer government officials. There were no national assembly members, there were not many PA's,SA's for the president, military administrators and LG's sole administrators, fewer FG's staffs, etc

NOI shouldn't be blamed. Like som1 earlier said, borrowing is not a crime. Developing countries still borrow.
Are we going to make judicious use of the money? I think we all know what will happen to it and it won't be NOI's fault.

However, I remember that the norm before NOI arrived was that the FG will be forced to withdraw money from Ex crude acct and Foreign reserve but it looks like she doesn't want to touch them. I also read that our foreign reserve increased (kindly correct me if I'm wrong)
