I believe most of us believe in God. Xtians,Moslems and Traditional worshippers are the 3 main religious groups in Nigeria. They also believe in a Supreme being that resides in heaven. We believe that the affairs of Men are governed by this supreme being.

I'm a xtian, i believe that God is the one that appoints our Leaders/Rulers Good or Bad. However, he gave us free will to do whatever we want Ie God chose GEJ for a purpose, but its now for him to fulfill God's Plan for the nation.

Is GEJ fulfilling God's plan for the nation is a question for another day. But to say that God didn't choose GEJ with all due respect is irresponsible and mischievious except you are an atheist.

Can't Mr President send a True federalism bill to the NASS and also lobby to make sure its passed by both the NASS and State houses of Assembly? Mr President has enormous powers to make it happen under 3months if he wants. However, I'm beginning to doubt Mr President's intentions concerning this True Federalism.

As for NOI, i believe that she's trying her best considering that this is Nigeria. No system works here. Even if we make Alan greenspan,Bernanke,Gordon brown,etc Finance ministers there impacts would still not be felt by ordinary Nigerians.

rhymz: No need to be sentimental about it, NLNG has no serious business citing its headquarters in Lagos, if anything, it increases cost, not to talk of the jaw-breaking tax from the lagos government.
From a business perspective, the move is a very smart one, NLNG does not generate her revenue from Lagos state, neither is it a consumer company that has to worry about losing market share and its like.
Now logistical cost will be greatly reduced by at least 40%. Besides, this will evenly distribute wealth and development and give opportunities too to indigenes as well.

Frankly speaking, the Op's spot on. Even if we all don't have money to invest,let's equip ourselves. Get more certs,more educated,etc. So we nigerians can take full advantage of the power stations,industries,ICT,etc that'll soon take off instead of allowing whitemen to take charge of them all.

I believe the guy despite the fact that i'm aware that he is highly favored by the govt. nevertheless, he must be commended for his investment in Nigeria's economy. My advice for engineers in Nigeria and diaspora (especially chemical, mechanical, safety, instrument, and electrical engineers) is that they shld get acquinted with the petrochemical industry operations/process plants (olefins, fertilizer, methanol, polyethylene plants, etc) cos there are lots of investments in this angle. This is the economy drive of the middle east nations now. They rely less on Oil than gas. I am also aware a methanol plant will soon be built in lekki free trade zone. So this is the time to start preparing yourself for the forth-coming jobs in the oil and gas downstream. sector. It is well with Nigeria.....

Enugu state have been using Innoson buses for more than a yr nw(if not 2yrs). Its as strong and durable as other foreign buses. The State also make use of Innoson waste disposal trucks. Kudos 2 Innocent Chukwuma. He's making us proud

- A thriving seaport in either Port Harcourt, Calabar, or Akwa Ibom.
- An inland water transport system across river Niger.
- An international airport.
- Railway transportation.
- Modernizing Onitsha and Aba to make them appealing to Nigerians and international investors.
- Finding a solution to erosion.
- An aggressive development of the dilapidated infrastructures and about 5million low cost houses, subsidized by the government.

Infact I prefer seaport in Calabar,AK or Ph and inland water transport to 2 additional airports. It should be reduced by dredging and developing other seaports.

If Calabar port is developed and big ships are allowed 2 berth,goods meant for enugu,ebonyi environs will be transported via Calabar-Abakaliki-Enugu road(Dualisation of dat road'll soon satrt and its a world bank funded project). Goods meant for Onitsha/Nnewi market will be transpd via inland water route-Onitsha port. Calabar is also quite close to Abia and Imo. Imagine what it'll do to d IGR of d Cross river,Enugu and Ebonyi. These states collect d least monetary Allocation from FG in d SS&SE zones.
BTW Liyel Imoke should discuss with SE govs and coonvince dem abt d Economic viability of such a partnership and present it 2 GEJ or they do it demselves.

GE is one of world leading brand, with their assets running into trillions of USD; and according to a little research, the smallest funds a start-up company willing to go into power business would require, starts from $100,000,000 upwards.
