I see image321 has chosen to ignore my post. No problem. Joagbaje: Galatians wasn't written by a disciple quoting the sayings of Jesus, was it? Is it really about tithing? Aren't you just quote mining here? For the Matthew quote: What does prophecy have to do with the subject of church tithing? And ditto for your third scripture quote. It says nothing enriching pastors, does it? |
That video talks about the atrocities of the Gaddafi forces and it's horrifying to see the Gaddifi troops were busy executing people even in the midst of their defeat. The nine Nigerians were freed. Apparently they're of those Nigerians who try to enter Europe illegally. God have mercy on them and their women. added: http://news.yahoo.com/hundreds-returning-tuaregs-alarm-mali-niger-000410715.html Hundreds of armed Tuaregs from Mali and Niger who fought for toppled Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi have started to return to their home nations, security sources said, raising fears of conflict.I haven't seen this confirmed elsewhere. |
An interesting point, Image 123. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_and_the_rich_young_man m Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaIn any case, there is no talk of Jesus saying- give to the pastors of your church, is there. In both Gospels, the advice is to give to the poor. |
How does that verse apply to the wrong doings of pastors? Or do you mean a pastor can do no wrong? |
Modath, you're right not to work out with a fever! A big hug and I hope you feel better soon. Log for Monday water- 1.9 litres exercise- full side planks morning and evening, 12 each side food- stew of 400grammes artichokes 1 onion 1 carrot and 150 grammes tofu 2 tablespoons of olive oil Microwaved til done. Divided in two for lunch and supper. 1slice pumpernickel bread, 30 grammes lofat cheese 1/2 glass good red wine |
Since you believe that the bible is infallible, could you please let me know what the last words of Jesus were? The four Gospel writers give different versions and only one, or none, can be right. |
Does the FBI have jurisdiction outside of the USA? Only in very specific cases, according to: http://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/2008/june/international_060308 Were US citizens injured or killed in the UN building bombing? |
To quote the OP In the BIBLE in Numbers 16 an incident took place which shows the danger of unnecessary confrontation of an anointed MOG. I have written many threads on MOG not necessarily to defend these MOG but to warn those unknowingly join to abuse some MOG, the dangers of doing so.The OP refers to divine retribution for the unnecessary confrontation an 'anointed' MOG. That's a threat, whether you are or are not a Christian. Here's a link to an article worth reading: http://www.thomaswilliamson.net/TouchNot.htm Those who are interested can read theentire article. What struck me was this: Since we are instructed so many times that we must not touch the Lord's anointed, it might help to check out the New Testament and find out just who are the Lord's anointed today. In 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 we read; "Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; who also hath sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts." The Apostle John tells us, "But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things, But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." (1 John 2:20,27.)However, the author refers only to criticism from within the church. My comments come from a secular point of view, because I believe that threatening those who criticise a MOG is out of line in a modern society. Adultery, scamming and coercion don't change their nature because they are commited by a MOG or on his behalf and no-one should feel coerced not to denounce these occurences because the perpetrater is a MOG. |
mightlove- that's fantastic news about your weight loss. and even better news about your friend. A spade's a spade. With or without Paul's permission. The OP was threatening posters with that veiled insinuation about the photos. As far as I'm concerned, no one has that right on a public forum. |
SuyaEater, to be sure that detail struck me, too. Giving gory details of what happened, Pa Obi disclosed that a cook was sacked by the leader of the gang for cooking a jollof rice with too much pepper. “There was too much pepper. So, I couldn’t take two spoons. Their chairman, Ifeanyi, got angry with him (the cook). He asked him if he wanted to kill me. The leader yelled at the cook,” he revealed. |
Thanks for posting this! I've also clicked like on FB and added their badge to my FB avatar. It's little enough to do for those kiddies, isn't it. |
No, I think the OP goes more for cursing and ill-wishing. |
Congratulations to the family! I hope they sort out the legal side of the situation so there are no consequences further down the road. |
No logs for Friday or Saturday. Water and food as usual, BUT No side planks. ![]() Today I start again. And my mantra is 1 kilo of fat= 7,700 calories. Weight loss is slow for everyone, because 1 kilo of fat= 7,700 calories. Even with my strict diet and increased exercise, I don't count on losing more than 4 kilos a month, because 1 kilo of fat= 7,700 calories. Still. I do notice a change in my shape. My clothes fit better. Will I reach my goal of a flat belly by October? If I stay the course, it will be flatter than in July. That's already good enough, when I look at the trousers I wore then and the trousers I wore yesterday. What progress do others here report? |
Now THAT is good news. |
While there are people like you writing and thinking, there is hope for us all. Thanks for your post, joyuchesun! |
One thing is giving by helping the people affected by the bomb blast in Abuja. Another is giving to help a pastor pay for his jet plane. |
Trust in the Lord. Of course. It sounds strange to me that over a week later you speak of the effects of the injection you wee given. It also sounds strange to me that you're not interested in testing for HIV and other ailments, if only to protect you husband's health. |
Yeah, right, Iya Witch. Do you accept payment by WU? |

My heart goes out to you and all who have been similarly duped. Please do get your self checked for any and all possible complications from that needle. Please. Please at least report the fellow to your own GP. And to the legitimate clinic you eventually use. It's important that this fellow be stopped. |

Sweernecta, why not not stick to the topic, which doesn't need sexist comments to underline the sorry saga of greed? |
babs, I know what you mean about the foods! Since I live in Spain now I eat things I've never heard, either. Cardoon is apparently a plant sort of like celery. It's tasty and has lots of fibre. Lamb's lettuce was new to me, too. It's a dark green veggie, so it's full of minerals. It's great in salads and soups. Log for Friday. Water: 2.1 litres Exercise: full side planks, 20 each side. Morning and evening food: 100 grammes fresh cherries 75 grammes nofat fresh cheese. 300 grammes endives with dipping sauce- 25 grammes lotfat mayonnaise 50 grammes lofat fresh cheese 1 nofat yoghurt 1 tablespoon mustard 30 grammes raw almonds 200 ml skim milk 50 grammes low lat Maasdamer cheese 1 glass good red wine |

I hate to tell you this, but AIG is a serious site, not a parody. You want to learn about dinosaurs? Start with Wiki and Google. Find out what science can tell you. Then and only then fit the facts into a spiritual framework. |
