Contradictions in the Bible? Good question. Can anyone tell me what the last words of Jesus Christ were? |
If we call the use of plants, juju, then yes, juju exists. It's something that can be studied and verified and replicated. It's real. The rest is scam, scam, scam. And it makes a LOT of money ![]() Quoting the OT to support the existence of juju is nonsense. This is superstition at it's worst, egged on by people who should know better. |
Thanks for the congrats, but any success I'm having is from the motivation of this thread. It really makes all the difference to me! That, and the way clothes are starting to fit better. My upper arms in sleeves don't look like sausages any more. Still, the belly fat is stubborn. Over 7,700 calories= 1 kilo body fat, as far as I know. I'm still not giving up on that October goal. Modath has disappeared inside SelfridgesDanger! Yesterday's log: water: 2.4 litres exercise: side planks morning and evening (20 each side) 45 minutes brisk walking food: 100 grammes fresh cherries 75 grammes nofat cottage cheese big salad- 2 lettuce heart, torn into pieces 50 grames lamb's lettuce (mache) coarsely chopped 1 beetroot, cubed 1 carrot, slivered 1 onion, finely sliced 2 stalks of celery, finely sliced 2 tablespoons of olive oil vinegar and tarragon 50 grammes of whole rye bread 75 grammes nofat cottage cheese. This was divided in two and eaten for lunch and supper. late night snack- 25 grammes almonds 10 grammes lot fat Maasdamer cheese 1 glass good red wine. |
^^^ Thanks for mentioning this dangerous drug. Let's hope the word gets out about the dangers of using Gynaecosid as a morning after pill. From the MedHelp forum http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Womens-Health/Gynaecosid-and-pregnancy/show/29550 Do NOT take Gynaecosid as an alternative to the morning-after pill, it's very dangerous to use in that way no matter what your friends might tell you: |
The governor, who promised to establish similar schools in Orlu and Okigwe senatorial zones, announced automatic scholarship for a student of Government Technical College, Owerri, Master Marvis Onyeazolam, who produced a prototype helicopter.Congratulations, Master Marvis Onyeazolam! |
blank wrote Show where such a case, that of a confirmed 13 month pregnancy, has been written up up, not just for my 'benefit' , but for those reading the thread.Well, blank, that was an interesting reply. You can wallow in your ignorance for all i care. Walk your talk, blank. I've browsed the sites and asked among colleagues. You're making the claim up. Walk your talk. Post up a source for your claim, if you can. |
It's been a week since I started logging my exercise, water intake and food intake. Yesterday I bought a scale and weighed myself. I've lost a kilo. It's probably mostly water, rather than fat, but I tried on some clothes I haven't worn in 6 months and there's a difference in the fit. Less like a sausage, more like a woman. I attribute that to the side planks. And I attribute my motivation to keep on with the exercise to this thread. Thanks to everyone who contributes here, I'm a step closer to that flat belly I want to regain. Log for Tuesday, 16 August. water: 1.9 litres exercise: side planks morning and evening, 20 each side. food: 200 ml skim milk with coffee for lunch, 340 grammes raw endive 1 large carrot slivered with my dipping sauce 1 notfat yoghurt 30 grammes lofat mayo 60 grammes lo fat cottage cheese 10 grammes Savora mustard midafternoon snack 100 grammes fresh cherries nofat yoghurt late night snack 60 grammes lot fat Maasdamer chees 1/2 glass good red wine. |
tpia, could you cite chapter and verse for what you've just written there, please? the bible itself says a woman's husband can invalidate a vow she made, and neither does any scripture support defying your husband in such a manner.I ask because the bible itself also states a woman shouldn't adorn herself, doesn't it? |
babs, thanks for the input! As far as I know, I'm getting adequate carbs from the fruit and vegetables. I've LIVED off starchy foods for two years, hence the weight gain. And so I'm re-educating my palate. Not easy, but it has to be done! Can't have a flat belly without that. Lo fat cheeses, no fat yoghourts and tofu monotonous? Possibly. When the heat goes down and I can think about cooking, there will be fish added. And egg white. So here's Monday's log: Water: 2.2 litres Exercise: side planks morning and evening, 20 each side. Food: morning snack 100 grammes fresh cherries 75 grammes nofat fresh cheese. Big salad: 180 grammes lettuce hearts 84 grammes tomato 110 grammes celery, thinly sliced 110 grammes beetroot, cubed 20 grammes mache 140 grammes carrot, thinly sliced 95 grammes radish, thinly sliced 20 grammes onion, thinly sliced 150 grammes nofat fresh cheese, cubed 2 tablespoon olive oil Tossed together, divided into 2 portions, lunch and supper. evening snack- 25 grammes almonds 30 grammes lo fat Maasdam cheese 1/2 glass good red wine. I'm starting to notice a difference in how my clothes fit, which is good! |
blank wrote Well, blank, that was an interesting reply.Quote from: PA1982 on Yesterday at 07:44:05 AMJust a little research would have cleared up your lack of knowledge. Show me one confirmed case of a 13 month pregnancy. One. Confirmed means with the medical reports, not newpaper report, of course. Until you can, I'll continue to call this report a heartless fraud. |
I see this has turned into a wrangle between two old 'adversaries'. ![]() All the best! My only points were 1. by insisting on that 'hung on a tree' phrase, Christians run the risk of having Christianity directly compared to other religions which have the exact same motive, that of a God who makes a sacrifice of himself by voluntarily hanging on a tree. 2. The Petrine epistles are widely recognised to be forgeries. I'm including a link to Wiki, not because it's a definitive source, but to give an overview and introduction of the idea, now accepted among scholars: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authorship_of_the_Petrine_epistles |
Yes its usually quiet on here at the weekends, guess pple are busy with occasions, catching up with friends and family etc. Thanks for the support! Between 1,000 and 1,500 calories. I log everything, so you can calculate the sums for yourself, if you're interested. Clothes are starting to feel better and I'm going to buy a scale today. Sustainability of my 'diet'? I'm following the Zone diet, which is more or less for the rest of your life. You can't lose the weight you want and then go back to eating the way you used to! And yes, lots of lofat cheese and nofat yoghurt. Cheap and easy. And tofu. Lots of tofu. Speaking of calries, how many calories are burnt up in one of those workout sessions? I'm sure it's been posted up before, but I couldn't see it! |
The challenge of marriage is that people change. They change ideas and tastes and beliefs. It's clear this lady is going one way and her husband doesn't like it. Good luck to them both. And I wouldn't worry unless the new pastor starts offering some 'hands on' healing sessions. ![]() |
oluwabamis, That is the best things I've read on the subject ever. Thank you! |
LagosShia wrote a prophecy from my gateman:"i will wash clean oga's car tomorrow morning"!Like. I saw the videos of this fellow. Pathetic when you compare them to the performance of any decent illusionist. |
Christ wasn't hung on a tree, like Odin in the Nordic religions. He was crucified. And in any case, quoting Peter is odd, because it's pretty well known the books attributed to Peter are forgeries. |
It's quiet here over the weekend! Here's yesterday's log: Water: 1.8 litres Exercise: sides planks morning and evening, 15 each side Food: snack 1 cup fresh cherries 1 nofat yoghurt Lunch 3 cups fennel thinly sliced 1 Tablespoon olive oil tarragon and salt 75 grammes nofat cottage cheese Supper 400 grammes endives, washed and leaves separated dipping sauce: 1 nofat yoghurt, 50 grammes lofat philadelfia cheese 25 grammes lofat mayonnaise 10 grammes Swedish mustard. 1 glass good red wine. |
Godmother wrote: I tire o. The way she is carrying this her own born-again thing is tiring. She tried stopping make-up but her hubby gave her some serious warning. We are all christians, but a man is still a man. I just pray she doesnt push her hubby out shaYou're saying her husband demanded she use make-up? What sort of a bully is that? Hmmm. Sounds to me as though she's found 'true happiness' in her new church. |
How too long? It's just several paragraphs. Paragraphs that don't address one of the prime causes of women's infertility- untreated vaginal infections caused by improper hygiene on the part of their boyfriends. Wash it first, fellahs! |
This sounds most promising. Where is the moringa tree cultivated in Nigeria? |
Yes, some babies are born without brains. They don't survive birth. However. A 13 month pregnancy? Get serious. This is clearly a dirtied up child's doll. Fraud, in it's purest form. |
What does that mean? Aren't jeans made for men and women alike? Don't most Asian women wear trousers of some type? Why would a woman go to Hell for wearing trousers? Who would be foolish enough to think such a thing? |
Why would she go to Hell for wearing tousers? |
This reminds me of that woman who claimed to have given birth 8 times in a year. People actually believe this stuff? |
Work stress makes me eat more, too. I feel like I 'deserve' some good food. Anyway, here's Saturday's log. Saturday, 13 August Water: 2.1 litres Exercise: slide planks, morning and evening 15 times each side Food: 1 coffee with 50 ml skim milk. Vegetable and tufu stew for lunch 140 grammes cooked soy bean sprouts 90 grammes cleaned artichokes 1 medium onion, diced 110 grammes tofu, diced 1 tablespoon olive oil and salt Mix together, put it 6 minutes in the micro wave to cook the onions Serve hot. Grilled Galician peppers, 300 grammes 200 grammes full fat galician cheese (yes, full fat, thanks to a friend who holidayed there and brough some back for me. Ditto the peppers!) 1/2 glass good red wine. It was strange to eat full fat cheese again. It tasted greasy after low fat. Today I'm going to up the count of side planks to each side. Cross your fingers for me! |
Hi, I don't have anything to contribute except a request for links for the videos discussed, please! I want to see them for myself. |
I've been reading the thread. Nowhere does Jesus himself say 'tithe'. Keep in mind there WAS no church in Jesus' time. That came later. As for all those OT citations for giving of the first-fruits, well, it's a case of cherry picking. The pastors who support tithing pick and choose the parts of the OT they want to ensure the money flow. I wonder how many of those tithing pastor observe ALL the OT admonitions. Or just the ones that justify their greed. Think of what that percentage of money could so for your kids before you give it to a pastor- starting with dental attention and education. tithing=wash-wash, in my view. |
Bestglow: Shocked Shocked ShockedAmen. |
Well, done, babs! @Romeo- I do the exercises I log here. It's good to see what others are doing by way of exercise. I can see those exercise videos can be a great help. So here's yesterday's log: Water: 2 litres Exercise Side planks (15 eachside) morning and evening Food 400grammes fresh pineapple with with 2 nofat yoghurts, divided into 3 portions and eaten throughout the day. Veggetable dip 200 grammes fresh green beans 150 grammes fresh green asparagus 1 tablespoon olive oil and a pinch of salt microwaved for 10 minutes, then sprinked with herbs and left to cool dip sauce 25 grammes lofat mayonnaise 1 tablespoon of Swedish mustard 1 nofat yoghurt mix all the sauce ingredients What I like about this meal is you can eat it with your fingers. Or a fork. And in the evening: 50 grammes lofat cheese 1/2 good red wine. A happy weekend to eveyone! |
