@ zomby: The capital valuations of an individual's business ventures are not the same as his personal worth. BTW, what does IBB have to say to this? |
Such sad news that will have a deep impact on us. I am drowning in my own tears ![]() Now I know how Nairalanders spend their Saturdays ![]() Shouldn't you people be doing weekend cleaning, or fixing things in the house, or going grocery shopping/cooking for next week? Oh, I forgot you spend Sundays praising "Baba God" and the various "Overseers" and ""Mothers in Israel". Cant you take the kids on an outing, or the wife, the husband, the concubine? Isn't it time to go to the village to see the ancient ones? Can't you all get second jobs for Saturday and Sunday: landscaping, cleaning other people's houses, tutoring kids whose education has been stunted because the rich politicians need a huge pool of housegirls/drivers/gatemen/security guards and other slaves in various guises? And these are your children too! Can't you make this a day, just one day, when you organize community cleaning without the State shutting down your lives for "Sanitation Day", thereby indirectly saying that you are irresposible, treating you like a bunch of elementary school kids and, worse, infringing on your rights and freedoms. How about making it a day out for all the children in the neighborhood to come out, play various sports under adult supervision? But what do I know? NA WA O! |
Only IBB can clear the air. But dont count on it. "(Chief?) Dele Momodu, one of Africa's most legendary publishers, " Is this the standard Africa is held to? ![]() |
My dear Idi Ileke, it is not GEJ. It is the electorate. You get what you pay for. |
RBF, Tinubu, and their "father", the Oba of Lagos - landgrabbers all. EKO ONI B'AJE O! |
Nairaland? Discuss intelligent things? I am laughing in Kanuri. Better go beg, borrow, buy, or steal some sense of humor. That may not happen anytime soon. |
Insert Quote Quote from: ric123 on Today at 01:47:11 AM Why are you guys talking about churches only? How about mosques and other religious centres? This is biased and it definitely has lost its objectivity. Ric123 Quote from: MackDealer on Today at 02:41:41 AM I WONDER WHAT THE POSTER IS INSINUATING! I don't comment much on this site but I noticed on a daily basis there is something on the frontpage that attacks Christianity, Is this just because Christians in Nigeria are that bad? Is it because other religions are better and holier? Is it just because topics about Christianity draws a lot participation or is just down right bias on the part of the moderators? @ ric123 @ MackDealer Probably because of the "Hollier than Thou" attitude of the Christian faithfuls. Never mind that the mythical jesus "preached" against this. |
Except that no one ever went to school to study SENATINE. |
I'll pay 3 milla. Take it or leave it. ![]() |
Is age 90 ok? ![]() |
The Oyo State Governor, SENATOR Abiola Ajimobi took the most crucial policy decision yesterday. It is to commission the statues of Obafemi Awolowo, SLA Akintola, Adegoke Adelabu, etc., etc, ![]() Is this man going to be able to govern? Didn't they say he was MD of some chemical outfit some one million years ago? BTW, is he Senator or Governor?. ![]() Me, I siddon dey look. |
Don't push your luck. Okay? ![]() |
"Eko o ni baje o" |
But, who the fug is Jack Bauwhatever? Never mind, I get it now. The joke is on poor "I hate television" me. ![]() |
Redistirution of wealth. Or, is it "Islamic Banking"? ![]() |
Glad to be the first person to post on this. Yes.YES. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. |
I beg to differ. NON-INTEREST Banking should be sweet music to anyone's hear. But these folks are religious bigots so much that the only thing they are hearing is ISLAMIC, because a bigot like them chose to call it that. You would wish that Nigerian lawmakers would read a little bit. Me I fear o. |
PM sent. |
Yes, I am Nigerian. I am for love between peoples. |
I live in the US. Let me know how I can help. I dont know how to give you my private contact on this site. Any idea? |
@ cold: So what you wanaa do? Kiss a live electic wire? |
On Non-interest banking, Dr Ngozi said from what she knows, she thinks Non-interest Banking is just another form of Banking whereby instead of the Investors getting interests on Loans offered, the Borrower and Lender share the Profits. She said we should put emotions aside and look at it objectively. that countries that practice this are doing very well at it in addition to other types of banking. No-interest banking? By Nigeriano-Christian tendency, pretty Ngozi is the African female voice of A-Qaeda. Simple minds, all. Thanks sweetheart. I love you already. ![]() |
Thanks, Ms. Potato. People here seem to be confusing knowledge with experience. Knowledge is acquired, experience is lived. Which means that knowledge could be at best misleading, and at worst false. Experience is real. I married a decent lady, but I was blinded by this decency and I did not realize that I was marrying into a whole family of snakes until, well, thank God I did not allow myself to be bitten. I must say that my ex was actually the only one out of 4 daughters, whose husband stood with her until I left her when the family, having destroyed all the other daughters' happiness, closed in on me. Guess that says a lot. BTW, how are you guys doing in Malaysia? |
When you are agrieved, you go to court. It is the hallmark of democracy. Bravo Sanusi. At least you did not call on "Boko Haram" for help. ![]() |
Go ahead, modify it, my dear experience! |
Sponsored by "The Lagos Omo-Onile-Area Boys United" These people are getting sophisticated, mhennn! |
Guy, "giving back" only makes the recepients lazy. |
No, parents-in-law will carry the day. By their ish, they will lead you to whatever else will kill your relationship. |
@ dem people: I have been to at least 25 states in Nigeria, and everyone is so different.[/b] We are like a "Masala" or "Potpourri" of cultures Shocking! Simply shocking that they should be different |
My Preso is waiting for the swearing-in ceremony of his 15 newly-minted Special Advisers. Until then, Naija is in a state of suspension. ![]() |
15 Special Advisers, huh? So, what will the President be doing? Does it mean he will not be thinking at all? : |
