Pay who can produce and stop giving us our ration. I bought a cup of rice for #1,000, only in Lagos and other south western states. Please when did other region post? Use the same energy you push on prostitution, drugs and Twitter in the farm and come back to show me your bumper harvest.
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Wants An Abortion by Panda7(m): 6:57pm On Mar 06, 2024
If you are not ready to pay her bride price, marry her and take her to your personal house right now, then let her abort it. Being the only child of your parents doesn't give you the right to bring in chances of more prostitution in the country right now. When bills start kicking in you won't talk like this.

Ezechi18:
I will go straight on this!

She came to my side on 6th February, we had se'X using the pull out method without protection.
She was supposed to see her period at that month but nothing show, on the 2nd March, she carried out test and told me she pregnant.

We are in our final in school.
I want a child because am the only son of my parent but she want abortion because of shame as to when she will go back to school, She's a churchy kind of girl and people know her very well.

I promised her marriage but don't know how to do it after the abortion.
Although am broke as well.

Abeg which state is ijaw? Even ibibio of akwa ibom first had settlement in present day abia state before moving to qua iboe but cannot lay claims of ownership to abia state. So settlement doesn't make you the constitutional land owner in case you are a prodigal migrator.

yes, thank you. to avoid restlessness because without posting the inflated goods price people won't panick buy, they will either buy or pass and sellers won't pay for inflated services. If goods stay and spoil nobody will ask the seller to sell them out cheaply

I am the type that doesn't like regular fish aside from catfish. I eat chicken, turkey, and goat meat more, but yesterday I decided to change my regular taste and went to the market to buy this Titus fish. If I can remember vividly, it wasn't sold for more than #400 the last time I ate it, but guess the price is now. It was so sweet, though, and I am not sure if this lady scammed me or sold cheap.

Please drop the current price.

Update... This Fish was sold to me for 5k and the lady was doing like she did me a favour. cry cry

I think I have been scammed kiss cry
Oga stop bringing your inflation here yoruba man, nobody ask you for the price of fish. If you need cheap fish go to the river, rent a boat and start fishing or better still, go to the river and buy large quantities from the fisherman and start selling in retail at the market. Am tired of people posting inflated price of food stuffs online or are other region of nigeria not eating quietly. Seems you are all waiting for who go feed una even when tinubu a yoruba man is your president.

I can see tinubu has no sense but this is planting season, empower more farmers, allow people go into agriculture, let everyone cultivate, ban food exportation. before this time next year the prices of foods must have falled by more than 50%. If you continue sharing food people will continue to eat and go back to sleep. Almost everything that we eat or package foods we consume are agricultural produce or are from agro allied industries including livestocks production. I know buhari is to be blamed for all this mischief, he left no direction rather he decided to export foods to Niger republic.
PoliticsRe: Food Smuggling: FG Intercepts 141 Grain Trucks, Drivers Threaten Strike..... by Panda7(m): 3:09pm On Mar 06, 2024
Isn't it in this same country that president buhari spent billions of dollar to build rail line between the north and niger republic in order to transport food items from the north to niger republic instead of going to the south south. Why couldn't the custom stop the project for the fear of food insecurity? you won't be surprise the projects was funded from the south excess crude money. That's not marginalization but victimization of the said Nigerians which wasn't even for the profits but to keep more Nigerians hungry everyday. Farmers won't plan to cultivate more but rather wait for unrestlessness to take advantage of even though it is government money the farmers are using to cultivate.

pls don't joke with police or police station, those guys are like the most uncivilized and less educated profession in Nigeria. if I have a police issue, I make sure I avoid that environment and any body involved as long as possible. a domestic animal has more rights than someone who have a case with the police, be wise. the least time i had a police case, I was made to swear an oath and sign an undertaking for wrong accusations. if you can't handle it it is better to battle a divorce paper when it is not too late than had I know. because someone who will quickly report a supposed family case to the police can be cruel in doing harms to you.

How about all the humanitarian money contributed to build the north and the ones their leaders corner in the name of Allah,? It is because the south always think about the future while the north thinks money is everything not knowing money is the root of all evil.

Gistmedia10:
In a desperate scene highlighting the severe food insecurity gripping the nation, a group of hungry Nigerians raided a truck carrying food items in Abuja earlier today. The incident occurred on the outskirts of the city, where the truck was transporting a supply of food items.

Eyewitnesses reported that the truck, which was on its way to deliver the much-needed food items, was ambushed by a crowd of people. In their desperation, the individuals forcefully opened the truck's cargo hold, taking bags of food items.

If Nigeria was wise it would project it's money into building infrastructure for natural resources first which would raise the standards of living and bring in better foreign exchange then see where that leads to instead of budgeting money for projects like the 4th mainland bridges and the rest which would end up bringing unnecessary fossil fuels burning and more traffic gridlock. There are abundant natural resources in Nigeria which we all know would never dry up ranging from petroleum, natural gas, aluminum, tin, iron ore, coal, limestone, lead, zinc and arable land for agriculture. Nigeria need smart cities and buildings not just economic buildings. Congrats to Dangote groups for their achievements and feats.

Nyashing and encouraging every olosho on the streets and social media isn't the ultimate solution to your problem, it simply shows how wayward you are yourself, and even from your misconception, it doesn't guarantee you are wise yourself, it simply means your own woman could be laid at the slightest opportunity since you already have the olosho spirit in you.

TravelRe: Japa: Mind In The West, Body In Africa by Panda7(m): 8:45pm On Feb 29, 2024
Lasbaba:
In 1999, two stowaway teenagers from Guinea, Koita Yaguine and Tounkara Fode embarked on a deadly trip to ‘Europe or die’ in order to escape terror leaders at home. Unfortunately for these teenagers, they died a cruel death in the landing gear of Sabena Airlines Airbus before the plane landed in Belgium.

In a letter that was found in their pocket, it reads “To the Excellencies and officials of Europe: We suffer enormously in Africa. Help us. We have problems in Africa. We lack rights as children. We have war and illness, we lack food. . . . We want to study, and ask you to help us to study so that we can be like you, in Africa schools”.

Had it been those teenagers made it alive, they would not had regretted their actions given the state of the continent.

Paul Collier captures it better when he says, “development is about giving hope to ordinary people that their children will live in a society that has caught up with the rest of the world. Take that hope away and the smart people will use their energies not to develop their society but to escape from it.”

Many African youths are physically living in Africa , but their minds are in far away Europe. Their fatherland is not ‘fathering’ their future; their beloved motherland is now murdering their dreams. Many are no longer at ease with the land they called homeland.

They have lost the passion, they have lost the hope in the continent.

There was a time “Barsa Wa Bala”, a wolof language, meaning “Barcelona or die” was in vogue in Senegal. The Senegalese youths believed it was better to die on the journey to Europe than under hopeless and unfavorable conditions at home.

Today, in Nigeria “japa” meaning to leave one’s home country in search of greener pasture in foreign land, is on the gyrating lips of many young Nigerians. People sell their property; they left their parents to loneliness and longing and family to “japa”. The race is to the Northern hemisphere . The energy is to secure a seat on the next flight going to Europe. Their savings are targeted to getting a visa. Some sold their property to Japa. Their prayers and fasting geared towards their visa application. They are investing half of their body features on securing a visa to Europe. It is now a blessing and a call to celebration to land at an airport in Europe.

What is worse: most of the continent leavers are skillful and energetic youths. For a continent that needs its resourceful and energetic youths to be a prosperous continent losing these youths without addressing the underlying problems is saddening. These youths have exhausted their endurance. They do not see their dreams becoming a reality.
while you are leaving, the interview question is always "why" are you leaving" and I believe that would truly help your employers.
PoliticsRe: Eket/ibeno Clash - The Truth by Panda7(m): 9:41am On Feb 29, 2024
On a normal day I wouldn't commented on this said topic, but unless the people who brings war and underdevelopment had a time purchase the land from the government or holds any court valid license to prove that. every land there and roads belongs to the government and the government under the land acts use law has every rights to take over any land for development process, commercial or agricultural purpose especially as long as there is no licensed, planned and surveyed structure on the said land. Anything above that is the people fighting the government of the day. No one has any constitutional rights over land especially fighting the government in doing so. People claiming they moved to the steep creeks in 1800 and by so doing preventing government development and claiming entitlement are as such fighting for the wrong course. The people of that region have continuously contributed to the underdevelopment in both the state and federal government by stalling the peace and making wars against the industrial projects situated at that location and by not contributing quotas to the revenues of the government and employment even after collecting entitlement for many years from the oil companies in that region with nothing to show fourth. Any sensible community would have join to work with the industrial companies who have come there to work and not causing havocs. As for the PIB they wants to fight for, it is clearly for every indigene of the state and not for any particular ethnic groups or people, and you cannot claim to love what you hate when you have no common love for the people from the same state and beyond. Migrating to the area/region does not make you the land owner or sole entitlement of the land or of the state akwa ibom which comprises 31 other local governments, without considering the descendents or grandchildren of the origins of akwa ibom. Instead the money would be channel to properly cater and care for the future of the states and not some miscreants and ingrates who won't add any educational value to the state. And for ijaw claiming to own the lands in the border of akwa ibom states, it is even more proper to say they own the entire akwa ibom and her people. Any one who would listen to these stories would know the ijaws are just a miscreants and peasant farmers/fishers who have migrated there to cause war and havoc against the origins and host, else you can clearly point ijaw is not part of akwa ibom but migrants who have their states but do not wants people development anywhere. Imagine stopping development that is leading to the Atlantic ocean, did you buy the Atlantic ocean or the lands you occupy?.
Did they realize this could prevents or delay the development of the ibom deep seaport, industrial city, 8 lanes super highway and the bua refinery?

this must be the reasons I have not seen a completed NDDC project just yet, every roads marked by NDDC for construction are often abandoned and left for a very long period of over 7 years or more, new administration will start another little project and abandon it. Billions of funds been allocated for NDDC projects outside road constructions are looted and forgotten about like the electricity power plants that was proposed some times just before 2019 elections have not been located in any site. The only fair thing NDDC does is solar street lights in unmotorable roads and producing lots of pressure.
