Those boats too small and wont be a comfortable ride at all. |
aspabay:You are very correct. He knows how gullible his audience are but I think with this display he has bitten a bit more than be can chew. If the FG want to spy on this violent illiterate, do you really think they will send 2 soldiers in full military fatigue on a single commercial bike with no weapons to his street in broad daylight? |
baralatie:Thanks. I am not trying to be back with her. It was a very thin line but really hard to cross. The day I got arrested was the day I crossed the line. I got back home, logged on to the portal and processed my decree nisi which I had been scared to do since I got permission like 3 months prior. I havent looked back This is a woman I spent over 2 decades with and know all her secrets, If I wanted to ruin her, it will take me only a few calls to the authorities but I cant. Why cant she let me go im peace? You got your divorce, you have your new man, you got the house, you have the kids. Why does she have to be a part of the plan to ruin me. The charges against me are concerning the boyfriend but she has agreed to be a witness against me! |
awumen:100% invest covertly abroad but the sad truth is that simply means you are not in love. I was blinded by love. I did every single thing with my wife. Even when a parent died and left me an inheritance, I went and made a will to make my wife and children beneficiary because I didnt trust my siblings to do right by her if I passed away without a will showing what was mine. The same siblings that I was keeping malice with are the same ones who were there for me when $h1t hit the fan. My son is a teenager now and I will school him when the time is right that do not love a woman totally. Be prepared for the worst and do things the woman doesnt know about. Do not put your hope in a woman and for my daughter, do not put your hope in a man. The most important thing is Do Not Get Married! Have kids if you want, live with a companion if you want, buy separate houses/flats if possible and ensure there are no official financial links between you and your partner. If you follow these rules, if you ever have to go your separate ways, it will be a much smoother journey. N.B D not fight for a woman that has been lost to the streets/the side dude. Move strategically! |
We were both teenagers when we started dating and basically grew up together. I am in my mid 40s now. We worked well as a team but maybe not as a married couple according to African standards.i.e. we both contributed to the home equally. My ex wife is book smart so got better paid most of our marriage but I also had a very well paying job with good pension, job security and flexibility such that I was totally hands on with the children. I got comfortable with this as it suited raising a young family. When 90% of my mates were contracting for rates of up to £500 a day, I stayed in my job cause I thought of things like who will pick up the kids, who will drive the ex to places if I had to go work out of town. We just grew apart and no I wasnt a violent man. Even when things were getting very bad I still tried to make things work. After I found out my ex was seeing her colleague and they were meeting up in hotels I still tried to save the marriage for the sake of the children. I took them on a holiday, we refurbished the house but when a woman is fed up, there is really nothing you can do. I should have realised this after I had a major surgery and while I was bedridden for 3 weeks, my ex wife went away on one of her hotel visits with her colleague. I have been able to accept most of what happened but what I'll never understand is her determination to ruin me. This woman cheated on me with a married man just 6 months after our wedding but I forgave her and we moved on. If I could forgive her years ago why cant she reciprocate? |
The gist I am getting from a lot of replies from people who I suspect are never do well tenants is that the law gives tenants 6 months free to live in any house of their choice. If that really is the law, we are all mad Nigeria! |
Curvinus:It is too late. After the arrest and before I was charged she had actually gone to the police and made a statement saying she wanted to be no part of the prosecution (found this out during discovery/disclosure) but about 3 months later, she went back and said she wanted to support the prosecution. My ex wife is/was not a bad person. She is totally into her new man so will do anything he says. He is the one pulling the strings. What kind of a man moves into a married woman's home when he was part of the reason the woman's husband was barred from the house? I begged my ex wife, cried sent people she respects, pastor e.t.c. but no success. I can kind of understand he predicament though. She probably doesnt want to lose her new man. There are things that may come out during the trial that will very damaging for her but despite being aware of this she is determined to see it through. I am past the worst and this trial and potential criminal record doesnt faze me. If I didnt kill myself in 2020 when I was at the lowest I have been as a human being, anything that befalls me now na moimoi. Depression is real o. I had proper plans of how to top myself. Thank goodness that on some days I was just so scared and other days I had someone to talk sense into my head. |
Tats:Credit! Your credit history is a big deal in these parts and you dont want to ruin it if you can afford not to. If you stop making mortgage payments it is marked against you. It was one of the main reasons I quickly agreed to transfer my share of the family home to my ex wife. I wanted to end all financial associations with her ASAP. |
xandy84:You are the one chatting dust. Arrest is an investigatory tool. Hundreds of thousands of innocent people are arrested every year. If I cut myself with a blade and call the police and tell them ABC stabbed me, the police will arrest ABC for "a prompt and effective investigation" (PACE code G). They arrest not because you are guilty but to aid their investigation i.e interview you, take DNA and biometric samples, seize evidence. As a precaution they will release you on bail while they continue your their investigation and a condition of the bail will be to not go near the victim. Women know this and thats why they make up all kinds of claims. Although not all allegations are false. |
Judybash93:Yes. Met in Uni, came to the UK together |
I am going through the same and at some point in the story I thought it was about me Probably too late now but if possible, beg, grovel, apologise, send emissaries for what you did and didnt do but be sure not to implicate yourself. I say this because you can never win. In my experience, begging didnt work but it is prudent to try. Another thing for any man who finds himself in a toxic marriage is to know when to give up on the marriage and move strategically. I held on too long not really for love but for the sake of my children but remember the children will survive if you are there or not. I left the house a few times thinking things will get better but it didnt help. It emboldened my ex wife and she started to invite her boyfriend into our family home when I wasnt there. Her boyfriend moved into our home only about 3 weeks after I was arrested and told by the police not to return to the house. And I still part paid the mortgage for almost a year until I transferred my interest in it over to her. I moved to a garage conversion in a shared house. The garage obviously had no insulation so cold almost killed me in winter. Used to sleep with full tracksuit, electric blanket and heater. I have moved to my own flat now. I caught a few charges from her and her boyfriend and I am on trial in crown court next month. They are serious charges but I am optimistic that even if found guilty there will be no jail time as I am of good character. I am kind of prepared for the worst though so although not concrete my plan B will be to relocate to Nigeria if I do get prison time as I will lose my job and the prospects wont be good on release. I have been working a second job and doing 75hrs a week for about 11 months and this has helped me pay part of my criminal defence fees which are just a little under £15,000. But even with that I am over £10,000 in debt. I was mad suicidal for a long time and always feeling sorry for myself but I had to pick myself up. Doing 2 jobs helped to keep me occupied so it must be tough for your friend if he is not busy doing something and keeps thinking. Thankfully my divorce went as smoothly as possible as she didnt object to it and it was granted just over a year after I was banished from the house. It could have even happened earlier if I didnt develop cold feet a few times. |
Every alleged criminal act is now by a Fulani herdsman. This guy is supposed to be a journalist and look at the way he has misinformed the public. That shows you how bad he must be at his day job. Absolutely no verification that the alleged attackers were Fulani herdsmen. Just 3rd and 4th hand account from most likely bigoted people and he is passing it on as fact. It is very trendy these days to find out the ethncity of people robbing you. It is truly amazing that in the heat of the moment when people are scared to death and trying to escape harm, they always find the time and have the presence of mind to identify the ethnicity of their attackers. |
Waiting for the first eejiat to post Fulani herdsmen |
stonemasonn:Spot on! |
khingTony:This is true but sadly we will mostly learn from experience. Unless you go have a heart of stone, you will most likely love and trust once in your lifetime regardless of advice like yours. I have been burned and never again will I put my trust in any woman. Since my experience I cant get my head round why people marry more than once. |
Never trust a woman |
CalabarPikin:Go wash your head for river. You must be the cautious type. You analyse and investigate so by the time you invest, the scheme go don cast. ![]() |
einsteine:I read his wiki entry and was shocked at his rise. but if you say he was Atiku's boy then it makes a lot more sense. He even ran for governor in 2019 under APC |
abysirius:Never! It is never okay if one of the 'friends' is in any sort of relationship. My ex-wife started off as friends with a colleague. But once she started hiding to take calls from him, it was obvious this was more than friendship. Like a bad Nollywood movie, I ended up out of my own home, sleeping in a freaking cold garage that had been converted to a single room while her friend ended up in my warm bed and became the de facto dad to my kids. Fear women o! |
dynicks:Manage the 7:25pm ![]() |
malawian0000001:You are super dumb! |
LarryBee1k:Dressed like him as well. |
Nairasurplus:Na only you get sense so far. Look closely at the images and you can see its a poor photoshop job. |
Most Nigerians are sick people. I hate armed robbers and thieves more than anyone cause my family and I have been victims of their activities far too many times in the past but I will never support this jungle justice madness. Who made this mob the judge, jury and executioner? How many innocent people have lost their lives to senseless mob justice? Remember ALUU4? You see a video on the internet with an account from an individual that these guys are robbers and everyone immediately believes. A sad state of affairs |
Perfecttouch:Illiterate |
It's not 'would', it's 'will'. Will miss you all Oyinbo when nor hear English... Shior |
Audio age. Where is her birth certificate from 1860? |
Whilst I always encourage people that one to japa to do so by any means necessary, this one loud gan. I am almost 20 years in the UK and I dont have £25,000 (N12m) sitting in my account. If you can save up that amount of money then you shouldn't be that desperate for a visa. Maybe na ontop school parole sha so fees and every included in the scammers' format |
ahnie:I am so happy to read this. I always thought I had a problem cause I'll choose my dad over my mum all day long but all my friends prefer their mum. |
Dodorima to all Axemen. Aye Jesse Mandela from Obanta high temple reporting . May Korofo guide these rugged men through their travails ![]() na play o. I am a bloodclat Jew! |
If this happened then it should be a referred to as a massacre. Even the army will have a hard time killing 250 combatants in one battle so how the hell did NPF manage to kill 250 'terrorists' in one incident? If there are really 250 dead bodies in one place then those people were lined up and executed extra judicially |
There is nothing called an 'international' passport. its just a darn passport! |
