This car is not meant for the masses, definitely not meant to be taken to your village. Hard to believe but there are parts of Nigeria with stable electricity. Who ever owns this car will own other cars for daily use.

This is not the first electric car in Nigeria, i have seen Daimler AGs Smart fortwo electric car in both Lagos and Abuja.

The most important thing is that this development will create jobs and introduce specialized skills. It will put money into pockets and make some families happy.

Politics › Re: There Is A Growing Resentment Of Fulani Herdsmen Within The Hausa Community. by PAQ(m): 11:39am On Feb 03, 2021
We Nigerians are our own problem! We love to trade blames and point fingers, but no one is ready to own up and do something!

We are so quick to stereotype and generalise, we hate the truth yet we all claim to know the truth.

Nigeria is a land without justice, the blood of innocent Nigerians are crying for justice, but he who comes to equity must come with clean hands, are our hands clean? We cant even love ourselves talkless of our neighbors. If our colonial masters were fetish i would have believed they cursed us before leaving!

Deep inside almost every Nigerian there is a dislike for a particular tribe/region. How do we move forward like this??

I blame all the governments past, present & future because i dont see light at the end of the tunnel! Government is made for and by the people, and with the current crop of people around i dont see a good future.

The Americans will say "it aint where you're from its where you at". I just pity the Lady trying so hard to prove that she is a northerner. We are Nigerians, until our Passport says otherwise, abi na only for Naija north, south, east & west dey?? Until we stop fooling ourselves, call a spade a spade and start loving one another, lets not expect anything good.

Christianity Etc › Re: 7 Reasons A Christian Should Not Take Alcohol by PAQ(m): 1:11pm On Jan 24, 2021
Sex also leads to all the 7 reasons stated, but it doesnt mean its bad or shouldnt be done.

Drink responsibly, if you cant then abstain.

Jesus Christ turned water to wine. Not fruit juice or non alcoholic wine (which there was no such thing back then). If alcohol is prohibited spiritualy, in his infinite wisdom, Christ would have left the water as it is.... Healthy pure old H20

If Nigeria was working and we have beautiful buildings, paved roads and plush greenery just like Dubai. Are we saying that herdsmen will still be walking their cattle through the towns & cities, eating & shitting everywhere?

As it is i dont think the Northern elites have ever planned or hoped for development in this country. If its not cows with killers roaming the streets its women & children begging on the streets by day and their men kidnapping, robbing and killing by night.

Car Talk › Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by PAQ(m): 9:42pm On Jan 09, 2021
Happy new year! I have a 2014 Corolla with about 60k mileage, i want to have my CVT transmission drained and refilled.

I am in Abuja, my trusted mechanic doesnt seem to know the diff between CVT & AT, if i had not researched before hand he would have used an AT fluid. I am also aware that the process of drain and refill are also different.

Pls can someone refer me to an autoshop with good understanding on how to do it here in Abuja. Thanks

By your own comments doing what we feel is right as you said is the recipe for regrets,
it's just like you feel better when you mess but to the ones nearby you just polluted the air,
because it feels good to you does not justify you to do it,
whatever happened in that venue will surely be regrettable to some in the future.
Am not sure u understood me. Let me simplify;

Doing what we feel is right or wrong, or whatever our different religions states as being right or wrong does not supercede the laws of the Federation!

Hope u get me now.

Does your religion support sexual immortality?. Please let be realistic.
Are we ruled by religion, sentiments or LAWS?!

Doing what we feel is right and doing what the law states as right are two different things.... Well in sane societies that is.

Even If we where to go by religion, many people for dey on permanent short sleeves or death row because almost everything we do in dis country is against the true teachings of the Bible or Koran.

With all our numerous Worship centres, churches, mosques & shrines. With all our religious fanatics, this country and its people are very far from God!

No be today this country don dey celebrate thieves, thugs and killers. No be today! But it is in this time that a child will gladly pick bad over good, because he has seen how celebrated and successful bad people are in this country.

Car Talk › Re: Acura ZDX, Honda Crosstour And The BMW X5 by PAQ(m): 1:52am On Dec 30, 2020
If your dad is on a budget, let him go for 2012- 2013 Crosstour, i believe the car got a refreshed bumper, engine and interior. It shares thesame reliability as a Honda Accord because they are similar. Its also good on gas.

If money is not an issue, then ZDX it is! Everything here is way luxurious, from comfort to ride quality but sadly it comes with high cost of maintenance. Its a much better car

As for the Beamer..... If ZDX was double of everything the Crosstour has to offer, it will be triple that!

I own a 2014 Corolla. Its about 63k mileage, i just did the first maintenance on Nigerian soil, was looking for the transmission dipstick to check if it may be short or needs drain & refill but didnt find it. After alot of research online, i found out its the dreaded CVT! And no dipstick!

I am finding it difficult to get the original Toyota oil, are there any other brands worth checking? I am so scared of CVTs that i just want to have the oil drained and refilled asap for rest of mind.

From what i read the safest schedule is every 30k miles after the first 60kmiles. I love my rolla, i dread transmission issues.

Imagine during lockdown, NastyC, Sakodie etc came to play in Nigeria when our stars were not allowed to perform and hungry... Imagine the carnage it would have created. But how come its ok for us to go to another mans country, oppress all their hungry artists, flaunt their laws and think it ok?

Those guys are lucky the current dictator in Uganda is not Idi Amin! He would have had them for launch.

I dont really blame the artists, but their managers who where just concerned of cashing out and not their clients welfare.

WTF man?
Get a proper weight pulling harness (not just ordinary harness) or stop this bullshi*t ASAP

How will you feel if you're asked to start pulling heavy load with your neck? This is inhumane bro

You shouldn't be proud to post this sh*t, it makes you look like an irresponsible owner (if not)
Thank you for your comment. Yes, i do need a proper harness if i want to continue, what you saw was just a test. (Which i havent done since that one time).

1. If you had taken some time to read through b4 trying to drag my responsibility or humanity here, you would have seen were i criticized myself already!
2. There was nothing inhumane here, we had a little outdoor fun together, because i dont have a harness doesnt mean we cant try out new activities together.
3. Oga i am proud of how i raise my dogs, pls go through my threads, do any of my dogs look ill- treated?

If you have an advice to give, its welcome, but dont come here using foul language. My kids go through this thread too. Mind your language or stay your lane.

Thank you!
