Huh? What was your objective analysis based on for you to arrive at this conclusion?

It being long since I watched the so called "debate".

When SilverNorGold said MH won the debate, I told him that David Wood won instead.

Here is my analysis on the show.

The topic was Tahweed and Trinity (both concepts are some how difficult to dive into I think thats why they chose that topic).

If you are the type that does analysis on topics you would know MH did not address most of what David Wood raised during the session. Hijab was not debating he was just ranting and raging, his responses or let me say replies were on attack on Islam, he did not talk more on tahweed.
Hijab knew that he will never win debating logically with David as it has seen in the past debates. So, this time he went rough/verbal attack and make some illogical statements on the podium. He is inconsistent, claiming the other side is embarrassing, claiming that there are other interpretations of Arabic that only he understands. His arguments are convincing only to Muslims who recognize the arguments he references. A muslim is deeply impressed by all the quranic knowledge of the muslim apologist, especially if he is able to mix a lot of Quranic Arabic through his plea. He personally attacked David Wood instead of refuting his points.
He created an atmosphere with his silly fans that made many including you think he won. For example, David Wood asked him: Allah and his angel prayed FOR the prophet. Whom did Allah pray to?
Muhammed hijab replied: I know this is coming. Read the correct translation.
Allah and his angel prayed FOR the prophet not TO the prophet. The moment he read the supposed correct translation the incessant cheering from the his fans for one party was embarrassing. Sensible and logical person would know he didn't refute David Wood.

David Wood is a great debater he has great knowledge of quran and hadith. He is not afraid to debate anyone. It is perhaps for this reason that Dr. Zakir Naik has refused to debate him.

Can you drop some of the things you think made him (MH) win?

The reason behind these verses is that the mushrikeen, who were pagans, and other leaders, like the monarch of Mecca all waged war against Mohammed at that time. The Prophet and his new converts were persecuted and decrees were made to stop Prophet Muhammad as the number of converts were intimidating. Not only that, there were countless of failed assassination attempts on the Prophet's life. They had to flee.

But this too didn't help. The Arabs joined, thousands of Muslims were wiped out. This led to the Battle of the Trench.. Despite the ruthless massacre and near annihilation, some survived.

There are so many others, but I'll be brief.. All these resulted in the verses of self defense and Jihad, which means "fighting for survival".. The Qur'an never preached that non-muslims be killed. 1. My brother, first, there's no compulsion in religion, according to Qur'an 2.256.. In the Islamic kabbalah, the Qur'an is the most authoritative. Any sayings that goes against it is null and void.

2. There are two types of apostasy in Islam: Simple Apostasy and Complete Apostasy.. Simple apostasy is when someone decides not to follow Islam. This is permitted in the Qur'an, as there's no compulsion in religion.

However, the Complete Apostasy is when one leaves Islam and then begins to attack it. Historically, such elements once conspired with the enemies of Islam to persecute the Muslims. "Whoever kills others, spreads corruption in the land, wages war against Allah and His Messenger, and he joins the unbelievers before he is subdued, then there is nothing to prevent the legal punishment from being applied to him because of what he did."

Here, it's obvious apostasy and waging war on Islam, Allah and his Prophet is frowned upon.

Although, you seem not to agree to the fact that killing is justified even with what you just copied.

From the same volume albukhari, the first sentence talks about burning atheists (Zanadiqa) (which is also killing) by Ali. But remember, when Ibn Abass heard it, he said, if it were to be him, won't have burned them but killed them (that is, Zanadiqa) because muhammad has told them to kill.

Isn't this enough evidence to killing justification in Islam?

From the copy and paste you dropped, you quoted qn2:256 no compulsion in religion but you didn't see the volume we discussing go the opposite way of that sura? When there is apostasy in religion, that is a clear cut compulsion, that you must not do any other religion except Islam.

Brother, study the Bible don't just read it. With Bible, you are allowed to ask questions not like what al-maida 101-102 says in quran. I know you hold Bible as a corrupt book in your mind like what you have been made to believe. But when you read quran do stop to ask why this is this with no reinterpretation. Ask questions on each event in quran and hadith.

There is no false allegations in what I said about justifiable killing in Islam. What I said is true which is contained in quran and hadith. I know some Muslims ustaz have reinterpreted some surat and hadith to you to make it look like it is not justified to kill

By the way, let me see what your explanation will be on apostasy in hadith albukhari volume 6922. Read it first before you explain it.

1. I challenge you to quote a verse and then narrate to me the circumstances surrounding it. Justify your allegation.

3. I challenge you to tell me why the other millions of Christians in Nigeria and billions in the world are not killing people in obedience to the alleged instructions.

4. I challenge you to tell me why an Imam, Imam Abubakar Abdullahi., would do the opposite. Which means your allegations are faulty.
