This is the same pattern that had ruined the economy in less than one year: Doing the only right thing at the wrong time after doing all the wrong things first.
Common basic sense of morality is enough to make the leaders know that war against the NDM with little or no negotiation is unjustifiable.
Unfortunately many of us knew it and have been saying it since time imemorial but the e-touts of APC hate to think, even if it's just for once. |

[s] allthingsgood: You have not said anything. I was thinking u will proffer solutions rather all u did was nag. If indeed its foreign interference, then u shld know that the organ charged with dispelling foreign invaders is the nigerian military. However the President must be careful so we dont end up like syria. Cos that is what they really wont. Forget all that story of negotiating with militants, it wont work. If the militants were after development they wont be blowing up pipeline and terrorizing foreign investment in their region
They tried it with bh, they failed. The raised their puppet nnamdi kanu to use internal conflict, yet it failed. Now they have gone all out to procure militants. Surely any intelligent person can see the handwriting on the wall [/s] You are really very delusional. So bad folks like you seem to be so much in APC. Folks who would rather bury their heads in sand and denial as opposed to rising up to the task and taking FULL RESPOBSIBILITY for outcomes. Only a demented fellow would assume that kanu's cause was not authentic. Or consider the islamic jihad going on right now in the country (in the guise of Boko Haram) as a political or foreign conspiracy to distablize Nigeria. Fact is: the SE and SS youths are already pushed ti the wall. What you are seeing now with the ND Militants and IPOB are natural reactions resulting from decades of national gang rape and oppression. I advise you to study wide about kanu and ipob, and you'd figure that the dude is SUPER AUTHENTIC about his cause. And I'm afraid so also are BH and NDMs. So wake up from your delusion and face reality. |

Please if you cannot provided any ref. then keep your crap out of my mention for good. And even today there are numerous drive-by shootings in America where loads of innocent persons, including children, are killed in broad daylight, with no presidential speeches. |

Oh...and people are murdered like flies in the US. At last count over 23,000 people are murdered there each year, with no presidential speech. But hey, that's no big deal since they were "not beheaded'', but shot. Afterall, it's really civilized to kill by gunfire, so long as there's no head cutting. Awon olodo. [/s] You're talking trash. All I see here are silly speculations, idiotic inuendos, and incoherent baseless beer palour tales. [s] sparrowkid: Fellow countrymen, there is more to the event of today than ordinarily meet the eye going by the events of the last few days. Without taking too much of your time, kindly ponder on the points below;
1. The Niger Delta Avengers after blowing up series of pipelines last week Friday asked us to wait for something big. According to them, something big that will shock the world is coming. 2. President Buhari on May 29th failed to read out the names of looters as promised. According to reports, we got to know that he was prevailed upon by no other personalty but Obasanjo who we all know that have the respect of PMB anytime. We were informed that Obasanjo asked him to shelve the plan because of the possibility of people mobbing the so-called looters who would be held responsible for the current strangulating effect of the economy. Kind of make sense. 3. Out of fear, Minister Lai Mohammed who has been saddled to release the names quickly said that no names would be published but the loots will be revealed. This actually suggests that something fishy is going on. 4. Later the FG informed us that the names would be released by Thursday unfailingly. Also on Thursday, a landmark programme of the clean-up of Ogoni is expected to take place. President Buhari according to the Minister of Environment Aisha Mohammed on Wednesday has given the assurance that he would be physically present at the event. 5. On Wednesday, former President Jonathan suddenly came back to Nigeria after a while outside the country. He immediately moved to Otuoke his home town. 6. On the same Wednesday, a report has it that Niger Delta Avengers have promised that they are ready to kill President Buhari if he dare show up. Remember point 1? What can be bigger for a terrorist organization than killing the whole president of a country. 7. While expectations were high on Thursday in respect of the visit of President Buhari to Ogoni, suddenly out of the blue moon, came the report that the president would not be going to Ogoni again. But would be duly represented by the Vice President. 8. As expected, the Vice President represented the President at the historic event and everything went well. 9. Later came the report that it was actually because of a strong security reports by both UK and US that made our amiable President to stylishly jettisoned that journey to Ogoni. 10. And finally, this story of Jonathan who incidentally came home yesterday to rest after a wonderful trip abroad, suddenly jetting out to an unknown location is quite suspicious and pregnant with a lot of meaning.
My fellow people, are you seeing what I am saw? (Apology to Gringory of the Village Headmaster). We all know that President Buhari is currently fighting the war of his life in ridding the country of corruption and impunity. So many people are not happy with him by tampering with their traditional 'source' of livelihood eg:
a) the corrupt federal bureacrats or civil servants who can no longer tamper with the public funds as usual due to the introduction of TSA and other measures; b) the legislators who for the first time have to be weaned of their traditional 'ghana-must-go' for budget defence; c) the governors who are now being exposed to their people for their reckless spendings and failure to manage bailout funds meant to offset the salaries of their workers which they failed to pay in the first instance; d) the former political office holders and their allies who have been sucking and raping the nation all this while suddenly being asked to vomit their loots by fire by force; e) friends and sympathizers of the last regime who are beneficiary of stolen funds; f) the corrupt business communities like the banks and oil magnates whose source of livelihood has been dealt a deadly blow due to the current shout of anti-corruption fight; g) the military that have been compromised by last regime and have to grapple with the fact of living a spartan lifestyle because of one man who abhors ostentations.
As our elders would say, "oju ni alakan fi n sori". My people let us all be vigilant and prayerful. A very powerful war is currently going on and all hands must be on deck. One thing all of us must realise is that it has to do with survival and liberation of our country from the enemies within and outside. God help us all. Stay blessed. [/s] |

I guess people were expecting PMB to go to Ogoni; thinking the Army will take care of things. Many innocent bystanders will die for nothing. The Nigerian Army at the moment is a battle ready Army, only people who have done anything with the military will understand that..... At the slightest provocation, there will be genocide of a proportion that will be unjustifiable At this moment, if there is a military led suppression of people, they guys who fled with stolen money from Nigeria will find sufficient legal grounds to seek asylum abroad - and there will be no reparation of funds - as there will be strong legal challenge against it in foreign courts - I wish i could say what i know about the processes involved in reparation of illegal traffic funds, not just in the Nigerian context. My company is the biggest culprit / bank in the whole world for illegal money moving through international borders and i have worked in this department since September 29, 2014 - AB&C, AML and Sanctions - The president doesn't need to physically launch or commission anything anywhere - He just need to provide executive steer, funding and backing/support for worthy causes everywhere The west will be glad to see violence erupt here as they do not want to do any clean-up or repatriate any stolen money Explaining away the obvious blunders as usual. NONSENSE. Mr. Prof. you and your fellow Fulani folks have the right to free movement everywhere in Nigeari, but hear me clearly, YOUR COWS HAVE NO SUCH RIGHTS ANYWHERE -and as such must be limited to your private ranches. You cannot legally extend your fundamental and constitutional rights to your cows.
Your lots in the core north may value cows more than crops and human life, but here in the south, unfortunately, cows have practically no relevance.
We value the lives of our farmers and their crops so much. But since folks like you value your cows more than the lives of our farmers and do not plan to stop rubishing our women, farms and our farmers' ONLY means of livelihood (with your open and unrepentant disdain), the only viable route to peace, therefore, is that all of you should stay in your zone and far away from our towns, farmlands and forests. |

Only a brainless person would believe that BIG FAT LIE. And only a walking dead devoid of conscience would spew an obvious crap from NPF as fact.
NPF has no capacity to dispense facts let alone truth.
Here's proof:
1. This year NPF killed a PH student and denied it.
2. This year NPF allowed mascre in NIMBO and denied it ever happened. In fact they even gave an "official statement" (like that lying demon in asaba just did) and called nimbo invasion by fulani herdsmen an "inter communal conflict"
3. Up till this very moment the NPF's official stand is that agatu masacre never happened.
Only a walking dead would accept NPF's official position as fact.
These group that's being murdered in cold blood were out for COMMEMORATION not even for a protest. Only a lunatic would believe that an unarmed group that's out on a peaceful event would suddenly go to confront an army-vehiecle.
But for everyone that's shamelessly lusting for igbo blood in any way, without remorse and sympathy, I decree and declare today that the very thing you imagine against igbos will engulf you like a whirlwind and consume you very fast like a wilde flame. Your fate is sealed now. Now is your moment of judgement.
