Fury007: Let's assume for a moment that you are interested in the message, not the messenger, is the presidency absolved of criminal dealings in oil revenue?? There was no criminal indictment against GEJ my friend. The figures in question were said to be funds that were not remitted to the federation account by NNPC - nothing else. The same NNPC is still not remitting all its revenue to the federation account under PMB -why is Amaechi not slandering PMB and reporting him to the Americans? The answer is simple: the constitution allows NNPC to withold part of its revenue. Amaechi foolishly slandered Nigeria because he had no clue how NNPC runs. In fact this year, the new auditor general of the federation gave a figure which he said NNPC had failed to remmit to the federation account. But NNPC countered his claim with a lower figure - and he did not retaliate - meaning he was wrong. Yet another organization still came up with yet a third fugure that was still different. Now if the auditor general of the federation could not give the right figure of what NNPC owes the fed, why is it too hard for you to understand that sanusi and amaechi goofed big time because they had no regard for due process? |

Fury007: 1. The so called document you allude as state secret was produced by Sanusi after extensive investigations. It revealed a massive leakage in the treasury. A document he passed to the presidency, and the presidency ignored. Would the US presidency ignore such a document from the head of the federal reserve bank, Janet Yellen??
2. If the US had this level of corruption and poor governance, the people would rise against it and a 'war' would be declared against such leaders.
3. Ameachi would have been declared a hero for been brave enough to expose corruption even with serious threats to his life.
You are a learner. Go and learn the difference between action and intention. Amaechi's action was criminal, and his intention then (which he's now trying to launder) was to destroy the goodwill of the president of the federal republic of nigeria with unsubstantiated falsehood. That's a treasinable intention. Regarding the said document, no "extensive research" was done to produce it. Matter of fact: the CBN governor actually changed the figures twice - three contrary figures on one account. Does that sound like a product of an "extensive research" to you? Pleae kindly read the following for your self-education: You are ignorant. The money sanusi talked about was NNPC's non-remittance. He had no full details of how NNPC operates. He was not the auditor general of the federation. He simply made erronous conclusions without due consultations. Amaechi who is even worse informed went on to leak the falsehood to a foreign govt. in order to destroy the goodwill of the incumbent president. That's treason.
For your information NNPC is still witholding parts of its revenue as we speak.
But why should I expect you to know the facts, after all you're a zombie. |

Because all they have been doing is simple: they play reactive 'kalukalu' with the country (hoping that things will turn around by chance) as opposed to hatching a clear-cut and COHERENT proactive programme that will move the nation forward and away from the present harsh realities. They stupidly forget that everything is not going down (as they do at this moment) by mere chance. This is enough for any honest and informed nigerian to comprehend. I cannot say more than this. |

Adminisher: This idiocy called "economic blueprint t" has become even the buzz word for any half educated followers of contemporary N8gerian economics. Very very stupid buzz word. Nigeria actually stopped having economic blueprint when we embraced full blown market economics. We had an economic blueprint with the military and their National Development plans all these were jettisoned when IBB started SAP. The military with their national development planning built all the refineries, major roads, petrochemicals, Abuja, Aluminium plant, NAFCON and everything we own now. Obj and Jonathan have not added anything to these assets since they came to power. What they have rather done is sold all of them to private companies and all the sold assets with the exception of Petrochemicals and NAFCON have failed.
It annoys me to hear the word economic blueprint. It is just a lot of bs that is completely meaningless in current context. When Nigeria wants to grow it will start taking POSITIVE ACTION in stead of speaking big english I totally disagree with you oga. Those your utopian national monuments were sold to the private investors for one reason: they were national liabillties. They were no assets as you would have the gullible believe. We actually need to sell off more if not all of them. Secondly, economic blueprint is a reality. This govt. is unable to hatch a clear economic blueprint because they lack the capacity and expertise to concieve it. |

So why waste money and national resources on nonsense political job creation when you can diversify the economy with incentive-driven policies that emphasize all inclusive economic growth with private-sector-first participation philosophy? tolexy007: Gunmen at the weekend killed 83 cows at Adayi in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. At Loko, the monarch claimed that about 20 people have been killed by gunmen in the last few weeks. The killings were suspected to be reprisals by gunmen who crossed over from Benue State. Although security agencies have stepped up investigation, the Fulani leader of Adayi area of Loko, Mallam Bideri Ahmadu, alleged that suspected Agatu gunmen from Benue State might be behind the killings. The traditional ruler of Loko, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, alleged that Agatu youths might have perpetrated the act. The Fulani community leader, Mallam Bideri Ahmadu, who addressed reporters in Loko, alleged that Agatu youths crossed over from Benue State about 10:30am last Saturday. He said the suspects had wanted to “rustle the cows in their boats across River Benue, but the cattle went berserk because of sporadic shootings.” Ahmadu said: “Upon realising they could not achieve their aim, the Agatu youth opened fire on the cows, killing 83. The injured ones are in the bush.” The Mai Loko, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, said in the last few weeks, over 20 men, women and children were killed during attacks on Fulani people by Agatu youths from Benue State. He said the Loko Development Area has only two police officers with no rifles and appealed for more security presence. Sabo urged the Fulani not to retaliate because the government was looking into the crisis. The Director of Personnel Management (DPM) of the development area, Danlami Umar, said the “fishing community has suffered a setback because the riverine area has been taken over by Agatu youths, who kill at will. Police spokesman Ismaila Numan said the Nasarawa Division received a report of the killing of 83 cows by suspected hoodlums and investigation had started. A security source said: “There has been tension in the area since the killing of more than 300 people in Agatu area of Benue State by suspected Fulani herdsmen. “We are suspecting reprisals by Agatu youths who do not want Fulani herdsmen in their area again. “The crisis between the Fulani and the Agatu is posing a threat to life and property in the two states. “Nasarawa and Benue governments have to step into the incessant clashes between the Fulani and the Agatu.” www.thenationonlineng.net/gunmen-kill-20-persons-83-cows-nasarawa/ And gullible nairalanders and nigerians wilk swallow this crap and take it for the truth.
Please ignore this poo. It's nothing but a ridiculous and childish attempt at laundering the image of the Fulani murders.
Notice that the narrator could NOT SPECIFICALLY say the EXACT or aproximate number of people that got killed ON THE DAY OF the attack. We all knew how everyone took to media castigating PMB for not doing anything when the call came in, everyone was accusing him of sponsoring the herdsmen. He might not purposefully decline to make the calls for police and army to rescue the villagers, it is a dent already, and that dent must be wiped off, otherwise it will threaten the peace and unity of naija.

sweetgala: Buhari does not have the duty of security personnel deployment, that rests with the Buratai, GOC 82nd division and CP of Enugu ands Arase. There are over 750 LGA in Nigeria and the president can't be babysitting them all. Nigerians need to accept their lots of responsibility. You are a chronic LIAR. Stop misleading people here please. Buhari is the one with the ultimate authority and (in effect) DUTY to mobilize the state forces to the crisis area. That's why he's called the COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES. But in the case of Enugu massacre he refused to do the needful. Therefore one can say that he consciously created room for the attack. Here's the reported timeline of the Enugu governor's FRUSTRATED effort to PREVENTING the attack. PapaBrowne: I saw this on Facebook.... I cant verify. So judge for yourselves
___________ If you are confused or wonder about what happened in Enugu yesterday, this is the timeline as Ariaku Emeh Iroh's wall provides it:
1. Governor Ugwuanyi gets information that Uzouwani will be attacked as some herdsmen from Nassarawa are converging near the community.
2. "There was a call made by Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to the president, he was put on hold for over an hour 15 minutes.
3. This call was made in the presence of 13 men and 4 women, the president aid (aide)told the Governor that the president will get back to him.
4.The president through his aid(aide) after 4 hrs told Enugu state governor that the president will do something about it.
5. "...Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on hearing that the police have not arrived at Uzouwani called GOC 82 division for help. He was refereed to the presidency again.
6. This time around, he was put on hold for nearly 2 hrs again, while waiting to speak to the president. News came in that the attack he was planning to prevent has actually taken place.
7. Within an hour, the commissioner and GOC who refereed the Governor to the president has mobilised their men to stop retaliation. The same way Lagos and Agatu was attacked and retaliation prevented.
We need to know why police commissioner and GOC need presidency order before they can protect the innocent citizens?.
We need to know - why police and military sent their men to Uzouwani after the attack to prevent retaliation?.
We need to know why a sitting Governor cannot use the support of police and military to protect his people?. Note that the two major security agencies refused to move into PREVENTIVE action without presidential authorization. Yet they were quick to foil the represial after the initial attacks were done. To show you their falsehood (regarding their official position) notice that no herdsman was gunned down or arrested by the security agencies. Yet they claimed they had a shootout with them and prevented them from entering the city center. See the report here: https://www.nairaland.com/3072976/enugu-attack-police-releases-statementIt's appaling how this govt. lie with impunity to the citezens. Already they've massively reduced the death toll and have started pushing the narative that the attack was not perpetuated by fulani herdsmen. See thevnarrative here: https://www.nairaland.com/3073559/enugu-attack-nothing-fulani-policeYet the state governor is visiting aso rock to brief the president on the "herdsmen attack" see the report here. https://www.nairaland.com/3073362/buhari-ifeanyi-ugwuanyi-presidential-villaAgain, there's a reactional protest on the streets of Enugu against the incessant and largely ignored "herdsmen attacks". See the report here: https://www.nairaland.com/3073835/herdsmen-massacre-sparks-anger-streetYet the police is trying to claim that the attack was not done by the herdsmen. They don't seem to relaize that when you distort facts officially, you have in effect changed the history and lied to the posterity. That's an unforgiveable evil. But am sure that no matter how long it takes, evil will always loose. |

I HATE TO SEE FOLKS WITH IGBO-SOUNDING MONICKAS LIKE "peteregwu" MOCK OUR NATION LIKE THE OP JUST DID AND ROCHAS OKOROCHA IS KNOWN TO DO. |

Aufbauh: These people are taken their hate and bitterness for the hausa-fulani too far. I hope they understand the ripple effects of such acts... They will always draw the first blood and scream victims when the effects of their actions begin to show up. They should be careful! ****So all the people the fulani fools have been kidnapping, raping and killing in Enugu and other south eastern states were not human beings, right? Probably you and your useless DSS were absent in Nigeria then, abi? MAGA |
