SAN official website disputes your error loaded citations. Soweto navy says they only have 76mm compact, nothing super or rapid in your navy.

Deal with it !
So SAN is paying for the maintenance of Guns it does not have?

Exocet is technically a fire and forget missile, it has no wire guidance.

Show us proof that your Exocet can be fired by one ship and guided by another, show me proof of that type of data-link configured by South African navy for your Exocets specifically.

Show technical proof that SAN Lynx has been configured to guide your Exocet.

Show me a source that says ship fired Exocet are guided by helicopters, you are actually quoting Nigerian Otomat missile capability grin grin
Why dont you start by showing us that the Exocet is a fire and forget missile?

2. Like I said, you're bragging about backyard built planes, good for you.

3. Gulma class, Amebo class, Ichuko class.

2. Provide a comparison to show the "back-yard" nature of this plane
3. One Isrealy copy and two non-operational platforms

SAN/SANDF has NO AHEAD ammunition.....Germany has NEVER sold it to you.

Four Valour frigates? How will they help each other? Each ship is under torment by eight F-7 jets....multiple swarm attack.

Datalink is useless, each one of your ships is struggling for survival as NAF jets wrecks massive havoc on your helpless sailors

Thank you Patches for proving my point with your ships photos !

It shows that the 35mm gun is at the back of the Valour frigate at a middle height far below the higher heights of the ships radar masts, cones, and antennae. So if the gun turns forward, it will fire on the ship and destroy the ship's own radars, masts, antennae, and sensors above it !

Wow ! Patches has just sank the South African navy frigate even before Nigerian munitions close in !

Suicide at sea by South African navy, Valour frigate 35mm gun sinks own ship grin grin

.
Each ship is under attack from 8 F-7 jets? 4X8 = 32.... you have 32 F-7? BWA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You are a fraud because you have changed the photo, that's why I showed you the first photo and bold name you posted is T-CRAFT.

Now you quickly made a new photo screenshot and posted Warrior class photo.

What you did before was to post T-CRAFT photo and name boldly and the data of Warrior class so tine and unreadable above it.

That was your foolishness not mine.

BTWN, what's wrong if an IPV has 3,000 miles range, anybody can built it if he has the engineering facility. How is that my business?

85 degrees is just 5 degrees of 90

Which is exactly what i said.

Please read my posts and avoid posting like a child.

Furthermore - please adress the key point of my post. You said that Alpha jets will attack from above Uhmkonto range - this hight is practically right above the ships - this allows engagement with the dual 35mm which will (according to you) shoot the bombs out of the sky

Thank you.

Pretoria said the numbers reflected Nigeria's larger
population and not the sophistication of their
respective economies.
"Despite what was said publicly, Nigeria's rebasing
was resented by the South African government," a
Pretoria-based Western diplomat told Reuters. I will oblige with both citations and excerpts: South Africa's concerns are compounded by fears,
expressed privately by government officials and
diplomats, that chaotic, corruption-prone Nigeria
is unfit to assume the mantle of continental
leadership.
South Africa's pre-eminence in continental affairs,

The Super-Puma which SAAF flies and the Half-French Rooivalk are all French products, engineering and ingenuity.

South-Africa only copied and pasted French Helicopters, then proceeded to renaming them.[/s]
None of those things are particularly advanced, and none fall within the gambit as an advanced combat platform.

You need to:

a. Produce a system with the same or superior capabilities as the Rooivalk
b. Domestically produce a system with the same or superior capabilities as the Rooivalk

Today all of south African media are calling for stronger ties with Abuja as the power play has changed.

1. The Half-French Rooivalk is an obsolete Helicopter flying on 30 years old computers. The Helicopter also holds the proud record of been the only Helicopter rejected by all countries it has been offered to.

2. You cannot build or design a Helicopter. You could not in the apartheid era, you cannot today.
1. Rooivalk is still better than anything you have.
2. We built and designed the Rooivalk during Apartheid - a domestic design and product

When you have:

a. aquired a platform with simular or better capabilities
b. developed ANY domestic weapons system with simular or comparable capabilities

I shall happily discuss the Rooivalk with you.

Henry120:
I don't need to pull down your obsolete Half-French AH, after all, the Helicopter has been doing a pretty good job of it, on it's own, thus far.

The Janes and Engineeringnews sources are all clear, they were all unanimous in their verdicts, the Rooivalk is an obsolete Helicopter which has no place in today's battlefield. It is a walking dinosaur.

A Helicopter running on 30 years old computers cannot be considered as modern, by any stretch of the word......... it is archaic and ancient hence it has been roundly rejected.

And you in turn have dedicated a whole week in defending a failed project..... congratulations are in order.

The MI-35M Hind E is simply described as having modern state of the art avionics and systems. It's proven performance and sales is all the guarantees I need.

-We have the Hind E, we are also in the process of acquiring the T-129.

- your second question is better directed at South-Africa, first build a Helicopter. Renaming a French Helicopter doesn't suddenly make it South-African.

As you have accused, my basis for "attacking" the Half-french Rooivalk are based on it poor capabilities as an attack helicopter. Turkey, UK, Australia, Malaysia all seem to agree with me........ Apparently same as the SAAF who only have 10 in active service.
- Janes does not say the Rooivalk is obsolete
- Modernity of the Hind E is irrelevant when it does not posses the capabilities of the Rooivalk
- The Rooivalk is a South African designed and built helicopter
- Provide citations for UK, Australia and Malaysia turning down the Rooivalk.

Henry, again i say:

1. Aquire a helicopter with the same or better capabilities as the Rooivalk
2. Build and deisgn a domestic weapons system with the same or better capabilities

And then we will discuss the Rooivalk.

A man with a donkey cannot insult another mans horse.

Henry120:
[s]I feel a great deal of pity for you South-Africans, stuck with an obsolete Helicopter isn't really a fun place to be in 2015.

- The Half-French AH was cut because the Apartheid government could not afford them. Hence the order for 32 dropped to a paltry 12.

- The U.K, Australia, Turkey, Malaysia all rejected the Helicopter. I've posted sources which show these countries rejected the AH.

- In an open bid, any company is free to submit proposal. There isn't a law against that. However, the Turks wanted a Helicopter they could build at home, neither Boeing or EADS was going to provide that. So realistically only your Half-french AH and the A-129 were realistically in a competition.

The A-129 roundly trounced the half-french AH, as expected.

- Turkish rejection of your Half-french AH despite Denel putting all they hard into the completion is enough evidence of the A-129's superiority over the obsolete Half-French Rooivalk.

South-Africa did not build any Helicopter, so what should i be jealous of?

You Assemble a French Helicopter....... Congratulations, Nigeria also assembles and make components for Trainers and the A109.

South-Africa got all dynamic systems, engines, components , sub-components from the Super-Puma, aloutte III

The Half-french is an Obsolete Helicopter running on 30 years old computers.

The Rooivalk has 30 years old obsolete avionics.

It’s been given a slight upgrade, incorporating “modifications to the weapons systems, avionics and airborne systems”.

"The chief of the South African Air Force General Carlo Gagiano said, “What is new is the Mokopa missile, which was test-fired at the Overberg range"

The only thing new is the mokopa missile which the SAAF still hasn't ordered!

A 1970's mercedes can move from point A-B same as a 2015 mercedes, however this doesn't equate to them been in the same class.

reportedly hailed by all who have flown it. It is also ideal for operations in Africa.

But its avionics system, a magnificent achievement for local industry when it was developed and integrated in the late 1980s, is today as obsolete as a dinosaur’s brain.

This is a key reason in Denel’s failure to export the aircraft. No one will buy a warplane whose avionics system is based on 30-year-old computers.[/s]
.
1. Rooivalk is better than anything you have
2. Rooivalk is domestically designed and built - something you are incapable of doing

Come back and talk when you have something that competes with it, and when you have built something equally as capable.
