lolz, those where positions you occupied when you were the no. 1 economic player in Africa ; 1999 G20.

April 2014 we go handed you your report card and Pretoria and south African economic analysts have been calling for SA to strengthen ties with Abuja. We are going after substance , no seeking inferior invalidation by belonging to international organisation.

Want to read ?
We dominate your economy

We sit on not only the G20 but BRICS

What is your claim to fame?

South-Africa is an insignificant member of the BRIC. We've been down this lane multiple times before.

South-Africa only got an invite because the BRIC nations wanted a more inclusive club, an African representation and South-Africa was at the time the largest economy in Africa.
If we are an insignificant member.... What then are you?

No, you're not.

I know S.A is in the G20. That's not under contention, boy.

When I say we are targeting G20 , boy I am talking not just g20 as an organization but also being amongst the 20th biggest economy by 2017. We are 22nd already.
So not only arevwe in BRICS and you're not

But we are g20 AND YOU ARE NOT!!!!!

Nigeria strong arm SA, embarrass SA in world stage and force SA to bow down to Nigeria's superior politico-diplomatic power. allafrica.com/stories/201411241856.html By J.K. Obatala
AFTER a protracted political struggle with
South Africa, over its controversial exclusion
from the pioneering and much vaunted
Square Kilometre Array (SKA), Nigeria has
finally emerged victorious.

Professor S. O. Mohammed, director general
of the National Space Research and
Development Agency (NASRDA), announced
Wednesday, during the opening ceremony
of the Astronomical Society of Nigeria, that
Nigeria's participation in the world's
biggest ever radio astronomy project was
now assured.
HAHAHAHAHA

And how are you victorious?

We have allready begun building it!

You Nigerians are so obsessed with South Africa

Its hilarious

Bwaahahaha grin grin This guy does not know combat with heavy equipment.

Shilka is mobile vehicle, it can drive around to attack threat from any position and the gun turret is 360 degrees rotation and fire on the move.

35 mm gun on valour frigate is fixed and carrot move around, then it cannot fire backwards if the bomb is dropped in front of the ship, the 35mm gun will need to fire on the Valour frigate structures itself if it turns fully backwards to face the front of the ship !

Your 35mm gun is stuck, fixed ONLY at the back of the ship.

Next your 35mm gun CANNOT shoot straight up, the maximum elevation is only 85 degrees, it CANNOT shoot straight up, it must slant.

I told you that you know NOTHING about sea warfare.

See your Valour frigate 35mm gun photo below, when that gun turns fully backward to hit target, it will blow up the Valour frigate grin grin
.
Pic 1: Vertical feild of fire
Pic 2: Horizontal feild of fire
Pic 3: Formation employed by Valour Class to provide over-lapping feilds of fire and 100% cover from missile/bomb attack

Now, if you will look past these hasty and rather crude mock-ups ( a simple proof of concept I drew up in 5 min)

You will see that a formation of 3 Valour Class can provide 100% supporting fire to each other completeing a perfect anti-air umbrella

Use of data-links allows the Valour Class to co-ordinate fire-patterns. This means that if one bomb is dropped, it will be facing 3300 rounds per minute of AHEAD ammunition.

85 degrees is just 5 short of 90 (straight up)

You said that the planes will be flying above Uhmkonto range - so they will be above the ship and that 35mm can engage them

American mercenaries will NOT enter South Africa with guns and start killing of your homeland without government permit....unless South Africa is a failed state like Somalia where the government has no control.

Then according to your logic, SA government has no hand in the entrance and combat of American soldiers on your own homeland soil, that qualifies South Africa to be a failed state !

I meant to say 35mm Denel gun.

1. SAN/SANDF has no CRAM munitions today

2. Your 35mm gun has use of ordinary ammo NOT CRAM, it is a dual purpose gun and is able to use both ammo, but since you have no CRAM ammo, it uses ordinary shells.

3. Shilka will shoot down a bomb anytime because it is 360 degree rotation/elevation/depression . Shilka does not need CRAM to shoot down a bomb, a bomb is slow, it's NOT a missile ! Nigerian shilka is radar guided so the radar tracks and locks on the bombs and uses 4 barrel fire, not 1 barrel, 4 barrels of rapid fire, hundreds of high velocity shells will blow up the bombs.

4. Valour frigate 35mm gun is not 360 degree rotation/elevation/depression because it is behind the ship and if it depresses too low it will hit it's own ship, if it rotates fully to the back it will be attacking it's own ship and blow up the valour frigate !

Your own 35mm gun is limited in capacity and needs the bomb to be exactly at a position towards the back of the ship or side ways also towards the back. Your gun is technically defective in operational positioning.

#Trap-Dismantled By Nigeria
.
1. who says we dont have cram

2. who says we dont have CRAM

3. dual 35mm has 2 barrels and is radar guided - so it can also shoot down bombs

4. If you are attacking from above uhmkonto range means that the bombs will be falling from above so the 35mm will be shooting straight up!

Hahahahaha

You have said for so long shilka can shoot down bombs that it is has come back to haunt you!

Wrong information !

According to South African navy, you have old school 76mm compact guns NOT any super rapid that your money cannot buy !

OTO Melara 3 in 76mm/62 compact ; 2 Oerlikon 20 mm GAM-BO1; 2 - 12,7 mm MGs

http://navy.mil.za/equipment/patrol.htm

One OTOBreda 76mm/62 compact . One Denel DPG 35mm (twin).

http://www.defenceweb.co.za/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6524

Nigerian navy has 76mm AK-176 ultra-modern guns with superior range to Valour frigates old guns, our OPV will sink your blue water navy !
.
So San is paying money to maintain guns it does not have?

You opv will be sunk long before it gets into gun range

hey, kill yourself with this from the guardian and economist in the UK:Even within Africa, South Africa's growth – wracked by high unemployment and industrial unrest – is sluggish compared to many of its neighbours, and its crown as the continent's biggest economy is under threat from Nigeria.

A year ago Jim O'Neill, the global chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management who coined the term "Bric", told South Africa's Mail & Guardian newspaper: "It's just wrong. South Africa doesn't belong in Brics. South Africa has too small an economy. There are not many similarities with the other four countries in terms of the numbers. In fact, South Africa's inclusion has somewhat weakened the group's power. grin grin grin . One southie Zulu was even comparing India to south Africa. This article was written in 2103 before Nigeria bleeped you from the economic top spot.
Ok

So O'neil does not like the fact that RSA is in BRICS

Are we still a member? YES!

Is Nigeria? NO!

Now it's American fire team of mercenaries on South African soil....or is that soil Zambian soil ? It's yours, Soweto nation tongue tongue

No need, I already posted the citation for you since you are a fraud and liar, source directly from South African navy official website :

Economic speed of Warrior boat is NOT defined anywhere !

Range, miles: 1,500 at 30 knot; 3,600+ at economical speed

http://navy.mil.za/equipment/patrol.htm

What is the economic speed in knots ?

The only way to compare range of two ships is to speed them to same level of knots !

What is the knots that give Warrior class a range of 3,600 miles? How many knots is that ? 10 knots or what ?

If P18N ranges 3,000 miles at 14 knots, it will travel further at lower speed, say 10 knots.

Your argument of out-ranging the P18N is therefore ruined !

tongue tongue tongue
.
Not wasting my time with silly arguments

I have shown that Warrior class outranges your OPV

BRICS is an association of nations

O'Neil has nothing to do with the organization - apart from coining the term to describe the NIC's

The NIC's then formed the group known as BRICS themselves. O'Neil had no role and has no role, and BRICS does not operate under any external guidelines apart from those that they have set themselves.
