Take it easy now, big brother, what's wrong with the fact that mighty Nigeria has turned your former masters South African white-men into casual labour mechanics ? If we had taken your jobless blacks from Soweto instead, they will washing Nigerian toilets after we poooh pooooh .

With the way things are going, Nigerian pimps can afford to employ Miss South Africa beauty queen 2014 and deploy her in one of our brothels
.
What has happened, is that out of 150 million Nigerians, your government cannot find a handfull of mechanics and so is paying hundreds of thousands of dollars (per man) for us to do it for you

I can show you a video of a railgun... can we then say that America has railguns?

You said that countermeasures would defeat our torpedo and NATO would sink our sub in 10min

Which NATO vessels have torpedo countermeasures?

Why cant you answer my questions?

Here they are:
1. How does detection mean automatic death of the submarine?
2. How effective are ships at detecting torpedoes?
3. How will a ship detect a tiny torpedoe if it cannot detect the massive sub that fired it?
4. What countermeasures are currently in service with NATO and the NN?

Until you answer the above 4 questions, the salient fact remains this: A SAN submarine sunk an entire NATO task-force

Sad the pathetic state of South-Africa has turned your koevoet operator into a common tire changer in Nigeria.

Very sad.
The sad state of Nigeria has resulted in you hiring men at massive expense from foreign countries to help you win a war you cannot fight alone.

According to your Doctors, it's 89 murdered a day.

Land ownership is just as relevant as you clicking on this page.

friendly reminder: virtually all black South-Africans can be rightly categorised as internally displaced people.

Once again when the pathetic state of South-Africa is pointed out in relation to the topic, you retort to making baseless accusations. Typical.

Reminder: 32,485 South-Africans were murdered in 2014, another 32,485 would be murdered this year.

Do not forget, this country doesn't have any active insurgency.
1. Land ownership has nothing to do with who has the strongest military
2. Posting dubious statistics from blogs has nothing to do with who has the strongest military AND has nothing to do with honest debate
3. There is no reliable crime data for nigeria (last official release for nation wide stats was in 2004)

Yet again, when the incompetance and inadequacies of your military are highlighted you are forced to post off topic in the hopes of de-railing the argument.

- 4000 Nigerians are dead because your military failed to protect them
- 1,5 million Nigerians have been displaced because your military failed to protect them
- Boko Haram built a Caliphate the size of Belgium because your military coiuld not defend against them
- You had to call Chad, Niger and Cameroon to liberate YOUR territory because you could not defeat BH alone

These are all facts, these are all on topic.

Be a man, stick to the topic.

Fact is your celebrated koevet operator, could only get a job working for a Nigerian company as a menial mechanic.

Pathetic!

The uselessness of South-Africa in full glare.
1. Nigeria is so useless they cannot find mechanics to service their own vehicals
2. Nigeria is so useless they have to employ foreigners at massive costs to service their vehicles
3. Nigeria is so useless they kill these highly valuable contractors in friendly fire incidents

Again, this is simply one of hundred of South African mercenaries, who he was and what he (supposedly) did is irrelevant

Fact remains: South African mercenaries are active in Nigeria

Ps: The company he worked for, did it offer mechanical services or did it offer private protection services?

the Medical Research Council puts the figure at 32 482. The MRC' s estimate is close to the figure from the Department of Home Affairs, which is 30 068. This is a third more murders than reported by the SAPS, a discrepancy of more than 10 000 murders.

So, while the Democratic Alliance leaflet "Fight Crime" puts the average daily murder rate in South Africa at 55 murders every day, the Medical Research Council's statistics reveal that 89 murders are committed, on average, every day in South Africa.

Apparently, that's what your useless country has turned them into..... basic mechanics.
Apparently Nigeria is so useless it is unable to train mechanics and thus has to import them.

Henry120, what we are alluding to is that it is illegal for south africans to perform combat roles in other countries.

Thus, he was hired as a "mechanic" (its a cover einstein) - this is very likely as Koevoet didnt produce mechanics, its produced COIN operators who specialized in training indigenous peoples for COIN roles.

Second, land ownership is irrelevant to the confines of this debate, as is crime.

You have no new jam proof torpedoes, you have the old ones that came with your bank loan submarines and more modern versions are now in the market. Contralto V does not even jam torpedoes, it misleads them by producing many other targets under the ship.

1. Which ships operate contralto V?

3. How will a ship detect a tiny torpedoe if it cannot detect the massive sub that fired it?

Training is never realistic because nobody is fired upon with live ammunition. SAN submarine did not fire torpedo at NATO ships, else you would have seen NATO show you why South Africa is still a third world country when they use anti-torpedo countermeasures to waste Mandela's torpedoes and retaliate on your Southie submarine with NATO submarine hunting and killing helicopters.

Na dat time you go sabi why the white man was able to easily colonize and rule over South Africa till 1994 when the rest of the world had all gotten their independence
.
Augustus.

1. Show us how effective torpedo detection is
2. Show us how effective torpedo counter measures are, and what they are
3. Show us how torpedo launch results in submarine detection
4. Show us that no helicopter was used

Yet again, you say things and have no proof, no substance.

Until you prove 1-4 above the facts remain unchanged and unchallenged:

Fact: One single SAN submarine sunk a whole NATO taskforce and that you yourself admitted than the NN doesnt stand a snowballs chance in hell

But lets assume you are correct, that a SAN sub firing a torp results in its detection and destruction.

Now lets assume a NATO task force is off the coast of RSA and is preparing an attack

They have:

1X Aircraft carrier
2X LHD
10000000 destroyers/frigates/etc

Our 3 subs infiltrate (we have proven beyond doubt that we can get in attack position without being detected) they then fire off their torpedoes - one sub attacks the carrier the other two the LHD's

Those vessels are sunk, our subs are sunk

NATO now has a useless taskforce sitting off our coast, and we buy time to negotiate or to further prepare to defend ourselves.

That is what is important augugbugu.

Now, how do you wish to pay for your tuition in military deterrents?

In 2012 of November. The then CAS who is currently the CDS confirmed that 3 C-130's are currently under-going maintenance/up-grades.

These C-130s would come back to service in February of 2013 and would join operations of the other C-130s( 2 or more) already on the ground.

3+1 = 5 C-130's in service.

Add these 2 other C-130's inducted into service when the Gazzelle helicopters were brought in.

How many C-130's are there in total?
Lol - still trying to devolve the argument into guesswork and rumors?

The latest artical on the topic confirms: 3 airworthy C-130's in service

The Nigerian Air Force will soon take delivery of a refurbished C-130H-30 Hercules transport aircraft after a two and a half year rebuild by specialist company Marshall Aerospace in the United Kingdom.

The Nigerian Air Force aims to refurbish five of its eight surviving C-130Hs. The Nigerian C-130 fleet is more than three decades old and by 2009 only one example was still flying while the others were sitting in obvious disrepair idly at Ikeja Air Base with less than 5,000 flying hours.

After more than a year of major repairs and maintenance, the U.S. Air Force helped return the first of five Nigerian C-130s to operational service on January 21, 2011. The aircraft went through an extensive process called Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) in a Lockheed Martin depot in Lisbon, Portugal.

In September 2013 the Nigerian Air Force received another refurbished C-130. This time it was refurbished with the assistance of French aviation company Sabena Technics.

Patchesagain, I hope you can count, i'm not holding my breath though.

THE NATION NEWSPAPERS
November 30, 2012

The Air Force has ordered for nine helicopters from Russia to strengthen air surveillance, Air Marshal Alexander Badeh has said.

Badeh, who spoke at the NAF Public Relations and Information Workshop in Abuja yesterday, said the Air Force is fixing three C-130 aircraft in its fleet. According to him, the three aircraft would be ready by February and added to the ones on the ground for enhanced
performance.
Yes the totals add up, (infact they are less than I gave you)

NAF 918
NAF 917
NAF 913
NAF 914

Thats 4 C-130'sin total inventory, with a total of 3 refurbished up to date.

With regards to domestic refurbishment the 3 referred to are the 3 that have been refurbished

Conclusion: Nigeria has a total of 3 air-worthy C-130's - meaning that at most 2 can be in the air at any one time*

*i gave you 2 as its war-time for you, meaning reduced maintenance cycles - this is not sustainable for the long term.

Actually, 20 000 SADF personnel deployed to keep the UNITA movement alive and the SADF was forced to launch multiple offensives into Angola to save UNITA - so you got that backwards

You only have 3 airworthy C-130's in total - which means that you can put a maximum of 2 in the air at any one time

By comparison, SAAF has 5 of 9 C-130's operational with the remaining 4 in various stages of maintenance, repair and re-fit

The South African Air Force is operating five of its nine Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, as the others are either being serviced or are awaiting inspections.

“What’s confusing is we average about three aircraft per day. I think that’s what’s causing the stories because there are only three aircraft flying. Out of the nine that we’ve got, there are three that are waiting for servicing and one at a time are waiting for inspections. So we’re operating five aircraft of the fleet at a time,” Pretorius said.

Over 50 years old transport planes, of course they are obsolete.

Your CASAs are also obsolete, again, you have no money for aviation fuel, how could you possibly afford new planes?

How many troops can a Cessna turboprop possible carry? You also do not have up to 10.

Need I remind you that we're talking about Transport planes, not fighter jets.

While the SAAF only has a whole lot of obsolete flying cans, Nigeria fields a proper Airforce.

With regards to the Dakota's

1. they are not from the 1950's - they have had engine changes, avionics changes and airframe adaptions (they are longer)
2. As transports, they are not obsolete - since their role is to TRANSPORT

How Tiny Cuba Totally Defeated South Africa In Contested Airspace

Last time I checked war history, South African air has NEVER WON A BATTLE in a contested airspace in modern war history, SAAF lost air superiority to Cuba's teenage air force.

South African air force Mirage jets withdrew from air to air contest when Cuban MiG-23 jets arrived.

You can boast about your air losses, it's allowed, like the Seleka debacle.

"Some Cuban sources credit the MiG-23 with winning the war in Angola and forcing South Africa to democratize. According to this the final touch to the war happened in June 1988. After their defeat at Cuito Cuanavale the South Africans retired to Namibia. The MiG-23 totally conquered the air and the Mirage F-1 of the SAAF, routed and impotent to reconquer the air without disastrous losses, abandoned the war and left the air to the MiG-23 to pound their army with impunity.

Cubans encountered a wall written on in Afrikaans by the South Africans with an elegant phrase: "MIK23 sak van die kart." They translated it as "The MiG-23 broke our heart."

Cuba advertised its ability to continue its advance into Namibia, but it was too much for South Africa which on 27 June signaled hastily to US mediator Chester Crocker and requested a ceasefire and negotiations, which ended with a peace treaty under which South Africa abandoned Angola and Namibia."

http://www.laahs.com/content/12-The-Cuban-MiGs/view/6

[/size]
Problem is we won quito, not to mention that the Cubans accepted OUR terms in the end - same terms we had demanded since 1970's.

Also, you say they chased us out of their airspace... then why do they celebrate no air-to-air kills? We celebrate two cool

This shows the bias of the artical

Thus: Into the trash it goes grin

South-Africa : cesna 208 (8 obsolete transport planes)

Nigeria: Beechraft super-king (7 operational)

South-Africa : Beechraft super-king (4 in service).
Nigeria : C-130 (7 operational)

You only have 5 in total

Which means that, if you are following proper maintenance regimes, 2 will be on full time operation and perphase 3 airworthy for a short term "surge"

We have 9 in total, 4 being rotated through maintenance, 3 in the air 24/7 and 2 awaiting repair or maintenance.

Nigeria : G-222 (6 operational)

And how many airworthy at any one time?

1/3 rule of thumb means only 2

And our Dakota's may be old airframes, but they have modern engines and avionics, and can still perform transport roles. we have 10

Nigeria : Donier D0-228 (8 operational)

No - you have 6

and you forgot our 4 CASA's

South-Africa : cesna 208 (8 obsolete transport planes)

We have 9, some upgraded with state of the art IR observation equipment.

What makes them obsolete? Can they still sling loads or not?

Nigeria -

1. Your Zuma the Jacob has no courage to face Goodluck Jonathan. South Africa did not have the muscle to confiscate our $9 million, the arms are being delivered and it's nothing special, just SAMIL Trucks transporters and REVA Medical Ambulances.

2. South Africa has no qualified pilots to fly your own air force aircraft, but your tiny brain now imagines South Africans can fly Nigerian aircraft. You think any pilot in this world can fly any type of aircraft? Every aircraft needs different training by qualified trainer, needs also a simulator device, then needs hundreds of hours to become combat qualified and this is after graduating from the specific training program of that specific aircraft.

There is no South African mercenary that can fly NAF's upgraded Alpha jets, F-7 jets 3.5 G, upgraded Puma, or new versions of Hind E and Terminator.

Anyway, no proof of any ghost South mercenaries in Nigeria, it's all a wet dream gringrin
.
Why do you spew such pointless hate on this forum?

Yet you suck South Africans d1cks so hard and so well on beegugugug's blog
